There are a million notes apps out there, but this one is my favorite. So simple to use that at first I thought I was missing something. It just seemed too easy and straight-forward! My favorite part is the ability to change the color of each note. The colors look nice, and the contrast between font and color of note makes it readable for even the oldest eyeballs. There is also a reminder alarm and a widget for your home page. I recommend this app.

I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to simply save a note. Every time I closed the app all of my notes disappeared. I never did figure it out. I also hate that you can't set a color for your notes. The color has to be chosen every time. There should also be a way to do "handwriting" on the notes but there's not. Everything has to be typed in.

I flip flop between Androids and iPhones. But no matter what OS I am using, a good note taking software is a must. I am a writer so I always need to be able to jot down my thoughts on the go. On android, Color Note is the best app you can use for jotting down quick thoughts or for making shopping lists. On iPhone, Sticky Notes is definitely the supreme note taking app. This app was made by a college student and that makes complete sense. This is a great app to have while in college or for your professional/business life. I highly recommend it.

I've ben using this app for a few days. There a a couple of features I am wishing for, like a repeating alarm for multiple times per day. But this could defeat the purpose of the fast, clean capture of notes and todos. I can live with that.

Sync is fast from my iPhone 6 to an older iPad 3.

I bought an sticky note app for $7.00 before I found this one. The $7 app looked like it would have all the features I wanted, until I tried it. This app is free & does everything I want it to.

Only change would be to sync it to my google calendar.

Very user friendly and well designed

I've tried a lot of sticky notes types of apps, and Sticky Notes HD is so far the best for me. The interface is pretty intuitive. The only minor hitch for me is that a pencil icon is used to indicate "edit the note", rather than "draw on the note or use your Apple Pencil or stylus to add things to the note." Other than that it's a fine app.

I'm still exploring it and am finding room for future updates. For example, it would be nice to be able to reorder notes by dragging them. Also, I'd like the option to use these as real sticky notes: being able to position notes around the screen rather than viewing as a list of prioritized notes. But these are minor things—the app is great for just taking notes...

Apple needs to fly Mr. Tsopanakis to Cupertino and woo him with royalty payments or a briefcase full of stock options. Then, Sticky Notes HD needs to be standard in every iOS release.

If you want to write a novel with video clips, multiple alarms, and a fertility timer that syncs to NASA, this ain't the app.

Sticky Notes HD is perfect for easily accessible organization. It's easy to use and serves its purpose very, VERY well—quick notes, easy to access. I use the access from the control panel EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I'm happy to write a quick recommendation for this app and feel it's well worth the 99 cent price. I wanted a note taking app that was simple, yet with some perks like adding images, locking notes, and basic formatting. I also wanted one that works well as a widget so I can view the note quickly without opening the app. This is perfect. What I like best is the widget view allows scrolling through the notes and the view expands for longer notes, again without having to open the app. I'm very pleased.

I haven't used the app for very long, but it seems easy to use and useful. I needed a place to easily jot down my ideas and lists and this works well for that. I haven't used the alerts. I'm still looking for an app that easily places the note on the home screen so I see it right away when I unlock my phone, instead of having to train myself to open the app to see what I need to be reminded of. So far so good. Worth the cost-

This app is simple but elegant. The developer thought of everything that you would want if you were writing yourself actual sticky notes, with the added bonus of alarms and colored notes and more. This makes it easy to categorize notes into work, home, school, etc.

I was looking for a fast, easy app to jot down the "to do items" that pop into my head. Primarily because if not written down, they are forgotten. And also because I like to be efficient in running errands. This app is simple - think of something, open, tap a couple times, and type it off of/ out of my head. LOVE that it's a widget and love the widget format - can easily flip through all items. Great job!

Love this app! The developer has kept it simple but extremely useful! Quick lists, reminders, to-do's, without being overly complicated. After using it for a couple months the only input I would offer for an update would be adding the ability to prioritize the note placement, moving the note up or down, above or below other notes rather than only the VHP, HP, etc. if Im already able to this I just haven't figured it out yet... still a five star app without it for its simplicity and usefulness!

After spending several hours test driving various sticky note apps, I frankly gave up the notion of ever finding one to my liking. The ones I tried were too time consuming in respect to navigation, they would delete notes on their own, they would freeze and/or stop working altogether, and some would require an instruction manual just to find something as simple as a delete button.

Your app is perfection as far as I'm concerned! So very simple to navigate, so very easy on the eyes.

If I were to create my own sticky notes app this would be the way I'd do it.... It's like you picked my brain!

I really like this app. Lots of great color choices too. The only 2 things I wish it had was the option to select a certain color for your note. For example say I wanted to make all my notes blue. Currently it selects colors for you. Another thing is I would like to be able to make sticky note widgets. This app has a feature allowing it to go into your notification area but not to make a small sticky note size like an icon, to where you could just click that icon to be taken to a specific note.

The beauty of this app is in it's simplicity. Without too many bells and whistles you're able to get right down to recording your thoughts in a clean and easy to use place.

With the added convenience of being able to put it at the top of your list in notification center you can quickly access it at any time with a simple swipe down from the top of the screen.

I LOVE this App and is one of 3 that I downloaded from iTunes. 1. It's easy and quick to set up, 2. It has a reminder alarm that you can customize with each individual stickie, and 3. It SYNCs across all my devices! I have paid several dollars on apps that I thought I can see on multiple apps only to find out that a) it's buggy/in the works and b) you need to buy the expensive Apple Watch if you want it to work simultaneously across ALL your devices. If I could I would have given 10 stars because it unclutters my mind, my phone AND I can focus on one stickie at a time (it has an option to order it by priority). There are soooo many colors to choose from and, unlike real stickies, you can add Subtasks in the text section. Love it love it love it! It has instilled my confidence that there are true apps that are not just gimmicks. High 5 to the student who developed this app!

I transferred with my company this week and began working on 17 separate high-profile projects all at once, whereas prior I was only working on one larger one. I needed a way to create quick reminder sticky notes and prioritize them, but it needed to be simple and friendly.

After lookingat several other sticky apps, I saw this one and recognized its genius simplicity immediately.

With a ton of colors from which to choose, audible alerts, different fonts, it's the best choice out there for sticky note apps for iPhone. Best $0.99 app I've purchased in a loooong time.

As a college student myself, I love sticky notes and having a sticky note app makes organizing so much easier. I have to say that my favorite part about the app is the multitude of different colored sticky notes. Color coordinating is very important in my organizing process, plus I love colors. The only complaint I have is that I can't see the sticky notes on my home screen, like with the computer. However, I am very pleased with the easy access and learning curve of the app.

I was looking for a note I could leave on the home screen that would scream out reminders to me; not something that was buried in a calendar app or in with dozens of other notes that weren't a high priority. This wasn't it. BUT it does show that you have reminders waiting to be seen. That is the one fault I see with this app. Find a way to post the highest priority notes on the home screen or flash up every day or periodically and this will have hit a home run in my ballpark. Keep on working.

I like this application, but would love it more if it had a bit more in it. I was looking for an application that I could not only make notes in, but one that I could make lists of reminders. On the lists, it would be great to see boxes next to them that you could check off the things as you accomplish them.

As far as the notes themselves, it would be nice to edit them without having to go into so many screens. I can't tell you the number of times that I lost a note because I missed a check in the top right corner. It would be nice that when you set a reminder, that it would do more than show a number on the screen. Truthfully that is kind of annoying to see all the time. There's got to be a better way of reminding you of the note.

I love the different color notes you can use, but the program itself should adjust the font color on its own. For instance, if the color is dark where a black font wouldn't show up well, then it should automatically adjust to a white bold font or if the color is light, the app should automatically be bold black. We should have the option to highlight and to underline within the note is we choose, so maybe some editing functions would be nice.

This is a great application, but it could be so much better.

Big selection out there. After reading many reviews I decided to try this one. Seems very nice I only have it for a few days now but it does everything I expect this kind of program to do. Not a rocket science but it sure gets rid of all of those annoying paper stickies on your desk and walls around. Alarm function,color selection and ability to see it all in your notifications screen is great.

I'm really happy with this app. It's colorful, efficient and easy to use. A great idea. I use my iPhone reminder app every day and this one is every bit as good. I find myself using it all the time. Great for anything you've got on your mind that you want to record. I jot stuff down on real sticky notes all day long so this app allows me to have them all in my phone instead of all over the house.

On the positive side, it is the best sticky note app I have tried, and it still holds a place on my iPad's home screen. I like the ability to prioritize notes, and set alarms.

The one downside - and this has been a BIG one for me - you have to remember to Save a new Note TWICE or it doesn't save. I need this app to be fast - to jot down something quickly and often on the run. I have lost several notes because I didn't go through both saves, which is an easy fix to just automatically save everything. I can delete stuff myself! I just discovered the last (really important) note I wrote didn't save, and this is now a Big Deal. Probably time to start looking for a new one.

I haven't really used it much yet but have playing around to figure it out. One change that I would like to see with this app is to have the note appear on the screen when you have it set up for the timer. I only get a red number on the app and that is on it as soon as the note is created. I can see me ignoring it eventually once I get a bunch of notes going because they would need to remind me at certain times. If I miss the sound of the timer going off, it would be nice to have the note on my screen reminding me so I don't have to open the app to get it. I haven't tried multiple notes yet to see how they display when one timer goes off. Hopefully, I don't see all my notes then?

Giving this 3 stars. Have used it for about 10 mins and have been asked 4 times to review it. Developer needs to respect that it takes a little more than 10 mins to form an opinion about an app. yea, this app is simple, but I have only been able to add 3 items. I want to see if this concept makes sense when I have 30 and more items added. could have been a 5 star rating had I been given more time. hopefully, this shuts off the nags, if not, I am deleting it and moving in.

I'm a salesman who is constantly being asked for different things from my customers to do, or bring them.

I needed a nice clear note app where information is very accessible and didn't want an app where you need to be a rocket scientist to program it.

This note app is just wonderful, stable and so easy to use. I love that each note can be a different color and you can change the font sizes to any size you like. Sure like the rest of the world I also have Evernote and of course the stock iOS note app plus several other note apps I have tried.

Sticky notes HD is just the best in my opinion. Simple, beautiful and works really well. As far as syncing it's supposed to sync with iCloud though I haven't checked that yet. All in all this is a great note app, it's simple yet powerful, and great to look at 5 stars !

So I love this app setup. It's easy but I love the fact that you can put it in your widgets because I am such a visual person. I need to be able to see my sticky notes without having to constantly unlock my phone so being able to have the widget option and can see my multiple stickies at once, I have that availability! Also I love the array of colors and fonts we get to choose from because being able to customize your own sticky notes is awesome!

The good: It is minimalistic in the good sense and the sync feature between devices is great as you don't even have to worry about having to sign in.

The thing that annoys me: If I want to create a note I have to tap the screen twice. First on the + sign then on the square where the note will be written. Now, if I want to edit a note I have to touch the screen THREE times (!?!?), first on the rectangle where the notes are listed, then on the pencil and then again on the rectangle. For an app that tries to be fast and simple I find this pretty annoying; I want to touch the screen once and start right away either creating a note or editing a previous one, not 3 times!

I have a habit of writing notes down and forgetting where I put the note. This app not only removes the risk of losing your note, but it also helps prioritizing the notes and even adding alarm reminders to review the note you added at a later time. My day to day functionality and structure have been upgraded 10-fold thanks to this app. The password option is also helpful for securing wedding gifts and shower notes from my blushing bride to be. Great app. I look forward to seeing how it grows in the future.

This app works very well for reminding you of those little things you might forget otherwise, like pick up some milk. It's simple, quick & easy to use with appropriate options (emphasis on quick!). The only other option I wish it had was for the reminder portion; I wish you could set the reminder for every hour, 5 minutes, etc, rather than just days & weeks. Great job!

I had been looking for a reminders app that really functions the way that string on your finger would. Okay well I expected more information but that aside StickyNotes is fantastic. It is extremely intuitive and doesn't have extraneous features. All can be used or not used this creating the customization that some like to play with. But the out of the box setup works incredibly well for me. The key feature is the "nagging" reminder. You can set it to re-remind you daily weekly monthly etc. the options are fixed but they are the most logical as opposed to the 15 min snooze in other apps. Initially the prioritize ruin I felt would be sufficient but the color coding really added visual separation and enhancement making it easy to just glance at what is needed. I only have 2 suggestions:

1) although rare there may be a case for very high priority or higher items to set an alarm to be reminded hourly or perhaps every two hours.

2) it would be helpful if the details of the text appeared as an option in the notification avoiding the need to open the app itself at that moment. But perhaps this exists and I missed it :)

Great job please remember that it's beauty is in the simplicity and intuitiveness of the app. Suggestions may be helpful but not at the expense of the key features.

Seems like an OK app if you can loosen up your mind and figure out the bugs. E.g., it's easy to accidently eliminate the note you just wrote by hitting '<' , a symbol usually meaning "return to previous screen" but on this screen it means "return to blank page." (Elsewhere in the app it actually DOES mean "Return to previous screen.")

Second problem: getting to the screen which lists ALL your notes... Use the search feature... if you want to see ALL your notes, just enter the letter 'a' in "Search" (having made sure to include that letter somewhere in each of your titles.)

Bottom line: this app doesn't feel trustworthy as far as important information is concerned.

I actually use this app to keep track of my newborn! I used multiple other recommended apps before but it was always too cumbersome to easily enter what he ate and when! I EASILY update this app and keep track of feeding times and amounts, pumping times, diapers, and medicine dosing. Not what this app was originally intended for I'm sure, but it is SOOOO much easier than what else I have found out there! I also love that you can change the colors, it helps me stay more organized. This app has been life changing for this tired momma!!

The widget component of this app is what perks my interest most. However, the widget is a bit much...large and bright. If this feature could be a little more subtle in appearance then I would appreciate it.

The same holds true in app. Too bright. Would like to see the settings give options for level of brightness.

Oh, one more thing about the widget. Would like to see an option on weather notes show up when locked or not. I want to use the widget, but don't necessarily want everyone else to be able to scroll through my notes if I lost my iPhone or something.

This is an excellent app for what it sets itself up to be: a helpful tool used for note taking and viewing. It's simple UI makes this app amazing, but what really stands out is the widget functionality. Just that one feature makes it ENDLESSLY useful as a tool. While it doesn't allow you to edit inside the widget area, the shortcut to the app makes up for it since it only takes 1 second to boot up... On a iPhone 4S!

I have tried many note taking apps. This one just floats to the top. Two things the ability to take a picture of the note inside when you are done writing it and having it put the picture in the gallery instead of only being able to take a picture of the whole screen with all the other notes or having to take it manually. Also to be able to put the notes in the order you want instead of just high med ect. order.

Like it. Downloaded 10 min ago, used for 5min, three "review"prompts already. Dear developer: as a college student, you know the most meaningful feedback comes with more use. Give it a rest, the good reviews will come if you give them time. Nudge me in a week... a month, whatever. Three times in first five minutes is enough to make me shut down and delete. I didn't delete- i'm reviewing now so i can use the app in peace (it does seem pretty great- its just too darn soon to know for sure)!

I have tried many many sticky note apps and this is the only one I still use. I like the sync feature so I can view my notes on both my phone and iPad. I make sticky notes to myself all the time and have found this app to be a life saver. It's on my home page to remind me to check out the notes I have made to myself because it shows how many there are. More formatting text features would be a nice update, but I love it as is.

This is the easiest app to use. Unlike other "notes" apps I've used this app is easy to add items. Once a note has been added I'm able to choose a color to separate the type of notes I have. The notes are placed where I can see the title of each note. This app is certainly easy to use but don't let it's simplicity fool you, it works just as stated, and is a time saver. I like to jot things down and this certainly saves me from having sticky notes all over.

This app does just what I expect it to do and has proved to be very useful and dependable. I like the color choices, the fonts, the simple and elegant design, the quick sync between devices. There is a reminder system that pops up on the lock screen if you allow it in notifications. There is no audible alarm that I can find, but I have other apps that are more geared toward reminders. I use this app to collect ideas and thoughts in the moment, then I later transfer items to a calendar, journal or to-do app.

I downloaded this app about 30 seconds ago and it asked me to write a review, so okay, here is my review after barely using. I don't see a way to organize my stickies manually. Arrangement looks to be either via priority or alphabetical or inverse of those but there is no manual way to organize (that I see). If there is a way to arrange the order manually, it would make this app much more useful for me.

Also, if the Red Alert badge could have the option to be set via priority (ie options such as medium and higher, high and higher, etc) or by a due date, that would be extremely helpful.

I would rate 4.5 stars if I could. The app is one of the best notes app I've ever used. It's easy to use, the layout is quite nice looking, and it's so easy to keep track of different notes and search for them if you do lose one. You can even share/take pictures of the notes to share with friends. The only things I wish they had are formatting (like italics, bold, and underlining, list bullets, etc) and the ability to use custom colors for notes in addition to the preset colors. I love that it's iCloud compatible, as it lets me view my notes on all of my devices. I especially like that this is optimized for iPad, as a lot of note taking apps are either iPhone exclusive or iPad exclusive.

So many beautiful colors. Well thought out properties for organization, retrieval, sharing, and backing up. A delight to use for us visually oriented workers.

I can think of only one thing that might help me use the colors more easily, and that would be for me to have a way to add a keyword I pick and insert it on the color line. I am looking forward to using more than three to five colors, and that would help me do that. Hoping you can add that feature...

I have this on my iPhone because for some reason the iPhone was not keeping my notes so it made it very easy to separate the issues that I have and I want to keep on a regular basis like groceries, other shopping, things to do and they're all right there, color-coordinated and everything.

The only suggestion I have for any updates is to keep it extremely simple. I just wasn't happy with the new changes when IOS 8 came out.

I have to say, I have purchased SO many of these types of apps. This one, by far, is the easiest to use. A "To Do List" should be simple to use. No punching, pulling, having to go back and read directions over and over again and definitely shouldn't involve frustration. I, obviously, have too much to do to be going back wasting time trying to figure out an app. This one is simple and has many colors to separate categories. Bravo!

Can’t get any simpler, and with iCloud synching, This is almost perfect. I wish a couple of changes could be made, which I’ll list below.

• iCloud synching is much appreciated! I hate apps that force me to use Dropbox or other third-party services, when iCloud is available on iOS.

• The app is accessible with VoiceOver on iPhone and iPad. All buttons and controls are clearly labeled, as they should be. This programmer is no slouch…

• There are alarm functions with repetitive options for daily, monthly, and yearly choices.

* I’d like the addition of week days here, as some tasks are only applicable during the work week.

• You can sort your notes in alphabetical order, or by priority.

* There really should be an option for arranging by time as well, given that some notes are time based. E.G: If it’s 10 A.M, I’d like to check my notes and see what’s coming up beyond the current time. I haven’t seen This yet on a notes/reminders app, and think it’s a shame.

Otherwise, This app is worth buying, and it sits proudly on my dock. Although I’d like some small changes, these are relative, and do not take away from the general usefulness of This app.

This is a great, easy to use and access app. I have been using the app for a little over a month now and have found it to be awesome with a simple to use interface and functionality. There are times when I need to jot something down (thoughts, notes, contact information, etc.) and will access it for a quick capture. It's excellent because it keeps things simple and doesn't overburden the user experience with unnecessary options and the like. Great app.

It needs an option to place lines within each note. Sometimes I'll write a note and get mixed up between two ideas on the same note. I want to be able to separate notes within a note. I try to keep one sticky not per day, using the date as the title. Adding a small line between each note would do wonders

I love that I can make so many notes - my project got longer than expected. Priority levels came in handy. Would have liked to be able to manually sort notes, but I worked that out numerically. Had trouble with editing. When going to a note to edit, it sometimes takes you to the wrong note. Also, not sure why title font size is smaller than note font size. Seems like it should be the other way around. It would also be nice if there was a line between notes as a boundary. If you update, please don't wipe out my notes that I've already made. Thanks!

I just started setting this up and am reviewing it early in the use cycle. I need this app to work everywhere and I have high hopes for it. I don't have good color memory but will love that feature for indexing. I suggest I be able to assign the colors a name on the color options page (cyan for departmental work, another blue for class preparation, a range of greens for home related issues, reds for professional development, etc.) so I could consistently assign a color to my life sphere. Otherwise the color sorting will end up ornamental and nonfunctional for me.

In addition, I like the font size so far, but wish for a left align feature for the content box.

Great idea, but lacks useful functions. List of colors needs user option to turn off the more obnoxious colors that I will never use. Ex. The lime green default choice is putrid.

Font size, style and color options would help with legibility. None are available. The background colors are so strong that is is hard to read the black text.

Can't read a multi line post with opening the note. I could not get app to add more than one note, and of course, they only post on the app page no applying them to other home screens or on, an app page. I tried to re-enter a post that would appeared on the page, only to be told that title is

I've been trying different sticky note apps to organize my notes, etc. this one has a great variety of colors, and is very simple to use! Still trying to figure out some of the other ones I downloaded, but after trying this one those will be deleted! I have also noticed that this one includes many options that all the other ones charged extra for :/. Thank you!

This app truly is awesome! If you are like me, I've usually got a million things to do and trying to remember them all can get complicated! I used to write all of the things I needed to do on a piece of paper but if I lost that I was SOL. But having this app on my phone makes things so much easier! It has many different colors of stickies which as a girl, I like! The best part about it, you can set the level of importance of the note, set date and time reminders on each note, and even change the way the notes are listed...by importance, etc. I'm a Mac girl and love the stickies on my MacPro so when I saw this for the iPhone, I jumped to get it! Unfortunately it's hard to carry your Mac around every single place you go (lol) so the portability of this app truly helps! What would be even better, is if you could sync the notes on this app to your computer, tablet, iPod, etc. I haven't seen an option for that, but if they added it, would make this app that much better!!
