Stop working

I’m no longer able to log in. It keeps buffering with and without using my WiFi network. I had to do paper and paying my bill over the phone now that this app is not working. Please fix this issue. This is very time consuming.

App Won’t Open

I’ve been trying to log in the app to pay my bill, i ended up using safari but the app won’t load. It just sits there no matter how long you wait. All you’ll see is the loading circle, I’ve left it open for 8-10 minutes and still nothing.

Since the last update the app is no longer working, it just keeps clocking at the bottom but never launches. I’ve seen several others have the same problem so it’s not my phone in particular. I cannot each the app assistance either, when clicked it’s a 404 page not found error. Please fix this ASAP & it’s ridiculous that even the assistance link isn’t working & hasn’t been for WEEKS!

App Crashed

I’ve been trying to get the app to open for several days. I checked for updates (there are none), I checked for an updated app (there isn’t one), I uninstalled and reinstalled the Entergy app - but it still will not open. It just has a ‘loading circle’ at the bottom of the screen. I called Entergy today to report this and they told me it’s probably just my phone. However, neither my husband or several friends of our can access their app.
Soooo I believe the app has crashed.. can someone fix this?

Great app!

I have been using this app for a long time, I have gotten extensions, changed my dates for payments, never a problem. I have reported outages and checked status of those outages.

Not secure!

Long story but someone had my power shut off and costs me a lot of money between lost wages, emergency electrician service and personal information compromised. The ENTERGY CSR told me that the app was third party and ENTERGY had no responsibility for third parties. There was absolutely no possibility that someone gained my app login from me. Either the app was compromised or the files somehow corrupted. I 100% recommend you do not use the app as ENTERGY is not willing to assist and I’ve been told the app site will contact me but so far crickets!! Just don’t use it!!

More of an issue with ENTERGY

This app and this company is a scam. Entergy will send out emails and texts saying I owe $500 but when I look at my bill breakdown it says I’m overdue by $150, owe $150 by next month, and $200 by the following month. Why is all of that calculated together and coded as a red alert on the app when I log in when it’s calculating for months down the line?? I feel bad for those people who get anxiety from notifications.

Worst login/ payments ever at the current moment

Not only can’t I make an account to make a payment, you can’t even continue as a guest to just make your payments. Signing up, has you waiting for a email that is super slow and 9/10 time you don’t get them clearly using my right credentials. Worst light company ever

There is always something wrong with Entergy! The app is always being worked on for “MAINTENANCE “ The app doesn’t even give accurate information. When the lights are off due to an outage it says that they are on and that there isn’t any power outages when they are off due to an outage ( like now). It takes forever for someone to actually come out to fix the problem. No one comes with urgency to fix the issue. I don’t like that we can’t track where a worker is actually coming to fix it. The ERT is NEVER the right time. It’s change every time you call to check and see when/ if someone will be out .

App is as good as Entergy

*This app is often down “for maintenance.” It Entergy actually did that much maintenance, the app would work.
*Entergy has no idea what customers are connected to what lines. Sometimes the app will say that my power is out when it’s not. Sometimes it says that I have power when I don’t. This is a safety issue.
*The bill projection should be updated multiple times a day, but it usually goes a week without being updated. That makes it completely useless, just like Entergy. Recently, the bill projection said that my bill should be in the neighborhood of $325. When I got my bill, it was over $450! This level of deception is criminal.
The worst part is that Entergy has a monopoly in New Orleans. I would NEVER choose Entergy, if I had a choice.

Latest version no longer showing daily use

Review Update to app after most recent update 3.41.0: Not only have they still not fixed any of the issues below this app is degrading. The monthly view leaves blanks everywhere, annual billing cycle view has 2 entires for every month, and the usage view shows y’all owe me a credit for every day (yeah like that’s ever going to happen). Maybe someone in whatever entity codes this App should actually be a customer of Entergy to see how thoroughly useless this App is.
Prior review: Since the update to 3.24.0 the daily usage graph and individual hourly breakdown is totally blank for the days since installing it. The projected bill continues to change but there’s no way now of seeing usage. Updated after developer response: That kind of makes it totally useless if we can’t see the information we are seeking. Especially at a time when energy costs are through the roof and customers are encountering historic high billing. Combine that with the fact the figure shown as total to date consumed in this billing period on the estimate is drastically different from what I calculate it will be when subtracting last month’s meter reading (as visible on my bill) from the current total visible on the meter and I obviously will have yet another surprise massive bill. The PSC needs to appoint oversight to get this mess under control.

Outage customer

Any and everyone that’s has to go without power should be reimbursed any and every piece of grocery that spoils are was lost due to Entergy taking to long to fix problems. They don’t hesitate to charge way crazy high prices and doesn’t think twice about it. Get more staff if you can’t handle the loads, we pay or we loose power so we pay the crazy prices. But we aren’t reimbursed when we go hours or days without power. Chambers county needs more than just ENTERGY as electricity they are horrible

Always works for me!

This app has come a long way! It always works very well for me. Just a suggestion. When customers unenroll from level billing a warning box asking if you are sure should pop up and explain you will be responsible for extra charges that were saved over the years and that you can’t enroll again for six months and ask if you wish to proceed.

Love the App and the Company

I’ve never once had an issue with Entergy or their app. I love the way they allow me to keep track of my energy usage on even an hourly basis and it’s never been easier to pay my bill. Not to mention how useful I find their outage map to be.
As far as their customer service goes, I’ve hardly ever needed them. But when I did, they were very friendly and patient. I had called them after I had moved. I couldn’t figure out how to link my new account to the app and make it quit showing the old one. The rep walked me through it step by step and had it set up for me in no time.

I feel tricked

I like the fact that there’s an app that makes it easy to pay my light bill, but what I don’t like is when asked if I wanna pay my overdue bill or the entire when I select only the overdue payment on the next right when your about to submit your payment it switches to you paying the full bill. If I just selected to only pay the overdue amount it shouldn’t switch my payment option right before I submit my payment 😡

Flaw when out of country

The app works great and is quick and easy when it is time to pay. The problem comes if you are out of the country. I travel internationally for work, and I am unable to log in to the app or website from a foreign country. I just receive a message that says “forbidden.”

Fake Scam Company

I just think it’s really convenient that the day before my bill is due the entire website has been shut down and stayed that way for the last three days. I have screenshots and screen recordings of the application, your website and I have audio recordings of the attempting to call you where you refuse to take my call. You literally won’t let me pay my bill and if you try to send me a disconnect notice I’ll file a lawsuit.
Edit : i’m literally eyeballs deep at a lawsuit. This is not a real company. Do not download this app. This is fake company. This is an attempt to steal peoples personal information. If they attempt to contact you blocked your phone number and call the FBI. This is a fake company involved in human trafficking and theft. The fact that Apple alone allows us to exist under platform means apple is complicit in human trafficking, and again the FBI has been notified.

App great, company-not so much!

The customer service is awful! They won’t go back to the day I moved out of my apartment and I got charged for whoever moved in and ran it up!!!! I called 4 times and there’s not notes of it on the account!!! They won’t even let you talk to a manager and get mad and say that they’ll hang up on you when you hold them accountable!! Plus don’t get sucked into levelized billing. It’s a scam. In fact this company is a scam and I’m reporting them to the APSC! First electric cooperative of Arkansas doesn’t charge near the amount and don’t screw you with the levelized billing scam. Entergy will never get another dime from me. I’ll pay my final bill $10 at a time. What do they think I can afford just to pay a $550 final bill when I’ve got mortgage, insurance and other utility companies?? They just got put on the waaay back burner. I didn’t even use that much in a one bedroom apartment. Tell me why I don’t even pay $100 a month for the 3 bedroom house I live in now?? Buggy and ineffective

First off, it seems to function all the way up until billing dates, then suddenly I can’t get it to do anything. Secondly even after changing my bank accounts for auto pay and making my new bank account primary it still drafts from the old account. I had to call to get it fixed. Useless

I couldn’t change my payment option on the app. It took 19 attempts. That’s beyond ridiculous! The button won’t press to edit the payment card. I have too many on file to not be able to choose. Fix that already! I tried to use the website and it’s worse! Send you on a constant back and forth. You want to pay your bill. It sends you to choose between speed pay and billmatrix. Doesn’t matter which one you choose because it sends you to a screen showing your bill and right back to the same choices. It’s literally zero chance of using the website to pay your bill. That’s beyond ridiculous and childish. As a utility company, you’re supposed to allow me a way to pay my bill. I hate this! Seems like you should make it really easy to pay. But to rip away all options and have the website continually loop me between two useless screens that never lead anywhere else no matter what I push is a torturous game! You want the payment or not? This is the worst app I have reviews this company is down all the time every weekend it down 99% of the time this app doesn’t register properly. I have pictures that I take daily in two days later the bars change it goes from one thing to another in increases other than the stillness at this after they should take that you’re cheating the customers, this company should go straight to the moon.

So slow

The second you start connecting accounts the app and website can not handle it switching between accounts and trying to view anything in the account is painfully slow. I paid 7 bills this morning and it took me and hour and a half, that is not because I am slow and don’t know how to navigate the system. On the contrary the system is garbage and won’t let me process any commands.

Using the app

Super easy to use, only down side is when the bill is due it adds last months to next month, not really a problem but doesn’t show them separately unless you go to the usage.

Ridiculous

Y’all say safety is your number one priority. Okay,
if safety is your number one priority than explain to me why one of your workers left a wire laying across my driveway for 25 hours and there was no urgency at all to come verify what kind of wire it was. We called your company 3 times. We were told to not touch it and y’all weren’t sure if it would electrocute us. We were told to not run it over or touch it. Yet it took y’all 25 hours to come out and look at it. Turns out it was a phone line down and wasn’t hooked up. Thankfully there was no real danger. However, taking 25 hours to respond to a down line that your company isn’t sure if it’s live or not and it blocking my entire driveway where I couldn’t even leave is completely unacceptable. That to me does not signify that safety is y’all’s number one priority. Do better.

This couldn’t be more difficult

There is no navigating this app it’s awful. No confirmation number, no log in so you don’t know if this is your account or not no help no Chat no options to do anything . I paid because the monies gone from my bank account but I got no confirmation of that nor can I go into my account and do anything but make a payment and when I go there, it’s telling me to payments due, even though I made one, so now I got to takeoff work tomorrow to call you people and confirm that I paid before you come shut my lights off even though my bill is not due till June 26, y’all shut me off three times already weeks before the bill was due with the excuse that if y’all waited to turn people off when the bill was over, do you never stay caught up so y’all start turning people off a couple weeks early makes no sense total nightmare

I remember when

Though I still can’t believe I’m old being 60. Yesterday seems so close.
There were no cell phones or Apps.
Paying a bill meant sending it in the mail or driving half hour away to the LP&L place. That’s what Entergy was called in my childhood days.
I have used many Apps to pay my bills. Some are so frustrating, til I won’t even use them.
This Entergy App is smooth as slicing warm butter. So easy to navigate and even easier to pay my bill. It’s awesome and I love it.
I do miss my childhood days and would have never imagined such technology that long ago.
But this makes little things in life so much more convenient.

Entergy should be charged with terrorism and thrown in jail

I pay these dirtbags every month, and every month they shut off my power. They don’t even wait anymore they just send out the letter and then they shut it off before the letter even arrives.
What’s worse is that I can’t pay my bill because the app doesn’t work and neither does the website! It just says “Entergy mobile app is currently unavailable while we complete maintenance and improvements to the app. We are working to complete this as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience“.
YOU APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE?
Can you just shut off my power without warning and now you won’t let me even pay my bill. I these guys are terrorists, and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. One of these days, Entergy will be replaced by a company with morals. One that gives you more than one day’s notice. One that sends you a text message, gives you a call, or knocks on your door before they cut your lights off

App under maintenance more than up and running

App used to provide good, reliable information on usage. For the last 5-6 months the data is spotty at best. Completely unreliable. We’ve been charged to upgrade our meters under the guise of improved reporting for the consumer and improved ability to monitor power consumption and billing for the provider. Funny but the provider is getting their enhancement benefits but as typical, not so the consumer.

This thing has issues

I am just going to get to the point. I have an issues with the app and website because they are both garbage. Neither one of them will allow you to add a checking account to pay your bill. I don’t want to pay the convenience fee every time and now you don’t let me put in my checking account. Then you’re garbage. The energy bill is high enough in todays economy so I don’t need to add any more money. This needs to be fixed.

Horrible App for a Horribly unregulated price gouging energy supplier

For starters, I’ve been trying for over a week to pay online on their website… it’s broken and the links don’t work. What a surprise to find that your app is the same way? It seems setup to charge late fees when they don’t have any real avenues for payment anyways. This does not include the insane charges you will incur simply for using electricity on their grid. Year over year my bills are $100 more expensive and my usage is not that different. I have three bills out constantly for months that are not even current but instead in the future for electricity I HAVE NOT USED YET. I will never understand how an energy company can monopolize a region and be so disgustingly inhuman to its customers. If there were any other supplier I would have dropped you years ago.

App unavailable

I don’t know how it’s possible for this app to be unavailable as much as it is. Is it ever actually available to use or is it just something you advertise to make it look like you have a convenient feature? Seemingly every time I try to pay my bill your app is unavailable due to you trying to make improvements. Why not leave the old version active while you work on the new version? Complete crap. Go back to the old version, at least it worked.

Too many failures

I actually did the surveys when this app was being developed. It all looked great on the surface, but after having it running for over a year now, it is pathetic. The usage never works properly. It’s not accurate, and customers are getting very angry. The usage charts never account for fuel adjustment fees(which are through the roof) or the storm charges that this company steals from its customers to pay for THEIR equipment. It’s evil, and it should be illegal. If I lost my insurance on my home, I couldn’t charge ANYONE for damages. I would have to pay out of pocket like everyone else. Entergy is raking the common person dry of everything they have. I pray for Entergy’s demise! Evil, evil company!!

This app is trash

If you currently employ ux/ui designers in your app development team, thank them for their services and get new ones.
Many, many issues, but the most important is that this interface provides me with less ease of consumption analytics that the previous one!” But it has a new logo and it’s more rounded and bubbly” yeah nobody cares.
But most importantly, I wanted to pay this months bill with a credit card instead of a bank transfer. Infuriating experience ending in an unsuccessful attempt.
No confirmation summary page, where you double check the account and amount nothing.
This app is trash.

Criminals

I live in alone in an 900 square foot home I recently purchased in New Orleans, I am not home much and my house is entirely energy efficient, equipped with all LED lighting, no natural gas service, and minimal electric use. I recently received a bill from Entergy claiming that I have used $320 worth of power, caught off guard by this outrageous claim I decided to contact Entergy, after being on hold for over an hour I was given no answers, after some research and speaking to a friend who works for Entergy, I was told that the citizens of New Orleans are being charged for Hurricane Ida damages even though Entergy is fully insured and to top it off supposedly their CEO just received a four million dollar raise, for me to use as much electricity as I was charged for with my minimal usage in this tiny house is practically impossible. The corrupt New Orleans utility monopoly needs to end

Ehh

It’s convenient when it actually works. “Something Went Wrong” error message will pop up literally until the day your bill is due. Makes you think your password is wrong due to error message. Just add Entergy website to your favorites on your web browser. You’ll have better luck logging in that way.

QuickPay DOES NOT WORK

It’s like this app wants you to spend the fee with BillMatrix because EVERYTIME I try to set up QuickPay, it’s says “ Notice : UserID cannot be empty “. THERE IS NOT A SPOT FOR ME TO INPUT A USER ID!! I promise if Louisiana did not only have Entergy around my area I would not be with this company! Cannot wait until they have some competition, I will most definitely consider switching IMMEDIATELY!! This is aggravating!!! They do not care about the customers and cannot get to a real person when you call the number so just WOW!

Over charge

If I could give negative stars I would. I had MULTIPLE problems with entergy! They have charged my account double twice now. And also they have charge me $40 twice for a return check charge for no reason. I have paid them and the money left my account. They are saying that I put in two payments on the same day! I would never. And now they refusing to refund the 80 dollars because “they can’t do that.”

Love the app!

I think it’s wonderful, to have an app that will give you an estimate, of what your electric bill will cost, based on usage. Especially, helpful during hot summers and cold winters. No more surprises when the bill arrives!

Where is my account?

I know this is COVID CULTURE but no one still answers the phone. Ever. Also i get a text on my phone which would be great except I have 3 accounts so it automatically goes to the two other accounts that are on my account but are not even active. I always have to go off the app and go online to the website to pay. My app apparently will only allow two accounts to be linked at a time even if both are inactive. Theyadd account never works by putting my address in and says it can’t find that account even though I get text messages with this account and address. I wish they had tech help but no one is available or choose to answer the phones.

Paying through app

My only problem with this app is, it does not let me pay through the app. I always have to call the customer service number in order to pay. Whenever I try to pay on the app, it just gives me the run around and keeps taking me to the same screen that I have previously been on. It’s frustrating

Needs improvement

Seeing only a rolling 7 days and the projected energy costs falls short of what is needed. Need to be able to see each days usage since the last bill and compared to the previous year and previous month. The usage figures shown don’t appear to be accurate and may change as a new day is added. With a digital meter, accuracy and timeliness should not be a problem. I have left several comments in the survey that pops up as you close out of the app, but am doubting anyone monitors those.

Updated Past my Available OS

Was terrible when I first got on it. It just clicked on a link to go to the website. Then it started working beautifully with an update. Everything was convenient and worked. Easy payment, easy to see usage and alerts. Very useful. The new update uses an OS beyond what’s available on my older iPhone. So now right back to not working. And not only that, now I don’t even get the link to website...just the App Store. Ugh!

App and website are poorly made

It’s amazingly difficult to update one’s own contact info on either the app or the website. The app gives errors about having an invalid address when using a suite # for the mailing address (states “invalid address”) and it forces a user to input 2 phone numbers even if you only have one. Otherwise you get an incorrect error pop up stating “phone numbers must be in valid 10 digit formats”. I’ve tried on both the app and website but the website isn’t any better so good luck to all on accomplishing small but important details.

Not a Great App…

Since Entergy came out with their new and revised app about 2 years ago, I have never been able to change my password. Initially, I changed it and it worked one time, but never again after that. After calling the company ( and being place on hold for about 25 minutes), I was always told it was fixed now, but never was. I’m frustrated by it so I gave up. It’s a shame because the old app worked just fine.

Usage appears to be way off

The app is well put together and easy to use the issue I have with it is the projected bill is way off. Not only on the days remaining but the amount as well. It seems like everyone is fighting these new digital meters and Entergy is burying the cost in the fuel adjustment. Every month sets a new record bill for me now, even though I’m using less Kw than last year.

You guys are awesome

This apps great and all but Entergy as a whole deserves some serious recognition for simply being an excellent company.. I can’t think of single interaction with customer service that wasn’t above and beyond expectations, they are always nice, helpful, quick and informative.
On the rare occasion I lose power, even in extreme conditions like today with the winter storm hammering NE Arkansas, I’m notified immediately and have power restored within the hour.. With all the political bull here lately I just wanted to say Thank Y’all, yal truly are under appreciated..

I find this app both helpful and easy to navigate. Information is easily accessible and bill pay is easy. I give it 3 stars because the app doesn’t seem to generate a confirmation # as proof of payment. I waited a month to see if an email confirming payment would be sent....it never happened. I will happily give a 5 star review when payment confirmations are generated on in-app payments

Entergy app

When I first got the app I loved it. The daily usage part of the app stopped working 3 days ago and I can’t get it to work anymore. This was the feature I liked the most because I could keep up with my usage. I really hope this feature can be fixed.
