Well Ghost Speak allows spirits to manipulate sensor data to choose a word from an electronic word bank. The theory is that spirits can manipulate the sensors to choose the word that they wish to speak. The app sets a baseline for what is considered "normal" activity among the senors used. This baseline is then monitored for abnormal fluctations. To avoid having normal activity or handling disrupt the baseline we are using a modified version of a quantum fluctuation calculation that employs a new method with handling deltas.
Please note that the results of this application cannot be verified scientifically so this application is for entertainment purposes only.

Junk, Not worth $1.99
The app is dumb. An algorithm just cycles through random words that mean nothing. Not worth 1 penny. Sorry I paid for this... But in the end, I should have known.

Love it
It does exactly as it's supposed to. I'm an empath and this shocked me how great it is. I know who is communicating. Something noted grabs my attention and then he gets excited and concepts flow around an idea. Just listen you'll know.

TRASH!!
I read the reviews and felt this might be a good thing. One reviewer talked about speaking with her dead husband who died the same day and year as my son. Thought maybe it was a sign. As far as I can tell, it just generates random words. The words "chocolate" and "coast" just popped up within a minute of the two times I've turned it on. I think it's a load of crap! You can also hear a faint cheesy voice saying the words.

Amazing.
My grandfather died a few years ago. When I turned this on, he made contact with me. First it said "dead" then "suit" then "shore" my grandfather wanted his ashes put in the shore at new jersey when he died. We think he meant soot not suit as in his ashes. And he meant shore as in New Jersey shore! Thx 4 Making This App, This Made Me Feel Like I'm Always Safe!

Haha it's 100% fake and random
I saw different reviews and all of them mixed. So I thought "why not" just because I was bored. As soon as I opened it and turned it on, knew it was fake. Apps must as for permission to use the microphone. It didn't. So there's no way it would catch any 'real' ghosts/spirits talking. Which would actually make this description against apple policy, since they lie about what it actually does.

Am sitting on the couch. I got a few random words such as "mist" and "ape" also. I noticed instantly I was searching my brain for how these responses could go with my questions. I wanted it to match up, but as I left it running by its self in the quiet every couple minutes it would also go off with random words. This app is definitely fun, but it's only that. Just for fun :)

Spits out random words
It will show random words even if you arent asking questions. Zac from ga calls this "pareidolia". Always single words never more than one. Seems like a good gag app but not for the serious ghost hunter.

Waste of money don't buy
I spent 1.99 expecting a cool and creepy app but when I asked it what it's name was it said during then I asked what color shirt I was wearing and it said triangle so unless the spirit is dumb it's a waste and also my cousin who went ghost hunting once even said this was a scam so don't waste your money.

My husband, of 25 years passed away October 22, 2012 and right when I turned this on for the first time, he came through, and he was very specific! I am a medium, and I see spirits all the time, and I have used every device out there! even ones that have not yet, hit the market. I highly recommend this app! it won't let you down!! you have to be patient, and only ask one question at a time and after each question wait at least 3 to 4 minutes you don't want to confuse the spirit and it takes time for them to learn how to communicate, It takes a lot of energy for them. If you're hard of hearing, I suggest; that you use, very good headphones, Or; use your hearing aid, and stand away from this app while using It, as your hearing aid may irritate your ears with the sound Frequencies. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! Aloha

Words chosen by an algorithm, not a ghost. No menu, just on/off.
Searched "ghost box" and this came up first. Was looking for a frequency scanner type program. For one, app doesn't let you record sessions or do anything but turn it off and on. There are two columns of three unlabeled fluctuating numbers nor anywhere you can go in the app to find out what they mean or are measuring. In fact, there is only one screen in the whole app, and that's a "random word bank spirits can manipulate" (i.e. A format where a random word is chosen and produced by an algorithm, not a ghost). Fact is, there are several "ghost apps" out there that offer the same feature along with many other features for a better price. Waste of money.

Waste of money...throws out random words not related to questions like when I asked for specific confirmation like color of shirt I was wearing..it stated penny...not purple. Started to doubt by 3rd question..I'm a sensitive, not a moron! Great for party game or Halloween fun, but not for any real accurate investigating.

Don't Waste Your Money
I was looking for something along the lines of the Ovilus, but this app seems to just randomly generate words that have no significance to the paranormal or even the situation. I would choose a different one.

Great App!
I have found that many of the words that come through really relate to those in the past who's spirits may still be lingering. I have a chair belonging to a dear friend who passed in early Spring and along with another app that records pics of spirits, I have gotten some very interesting responses from questions I ask. So I think the app is very well worth the time to download and try. I know that many spirits may be responding and so that is a little tough in deciphering but I feel good that I'm able to somewhat speak with my friend who passed. Great app!

I think this is a rip-off. The changing numbers on the sides basically make no sense and change for no apparent reason, and the developer tries to reel people in by using overly-scientific phrases in the description. "Quantum fluctuation". That doesn't even make sense! Don't waste your money. It's made to give random canned words and responses, not communicate with ghosts. I feel scammed.

My sister got me hooked on this app. We use it all the time and more than less it is spot on. After the update it was not working, my sister contacted the developer. He was right in getting the problem fixed. Even checked back to make sure it did work. Yippee it is working again. Can't wait to use it!!!

Nothing but static
This app produces nothing but static. I left it on for eight hours nothing. I took it into a graveyard ....nothing... it has never ever said anything. Furthermore, the app lets the phone go to sleep unless you disable the sleep mode in the settings. There is no explanation for the information displayed in the app nor anyway to change anything. Poorly done.

My sisters and i were ghost hunting in our house and a chair was right next to me, i put my knee down on the chair and instantly, it said knelt. I asked what one of our names were and it said 'nate' and my name is nathan!!!! I strongly suggest this app

Thought provoking results
I've downloaded many a ghost hunting apps in the past and I'd say this ie has potential howeve I don't like the static "white noise " in the background. The words produced are, as stated above , thought provoking...at least in my expirence

Why did I fall for this?! This app is in no way connected to the paranormal. It picks a bunch of random words out of a word bank and loops a recording of white noise in the background to give you the impression that it is "scanning". Total bs, I'm deleting it from my phone.

This app is wicked scary. I'm totally freaking out. I asked for validation and was told coffee (was drinking mine), then pink (pink shirt). I was carrying it around & laying it down while I did chores, and this was no coincidence: getting ready to clean it said "slob", "pigpen" "messy" (it is, lol). Emptying trash, it said "waste". Opened basement door to get trash bags & it said "downstairs". Making up my bed it said "mountain" "cot" (My bed is super high). I asked it to name an object in my bedroom, "pretzels" "ashes" (ashtray). Tossing out dead flowers it said "die". I turned it off then. There were some other interesting words, repeated "term" "flame". Spooky man. I won't sleep tonight!!!

Not bad
I turned it on and asked what I had for dinner. It said pizza which was true. But it also said a bunch of words that didn't make sense. Then I was pouring some pop in a glass when it overflowed it said fizz and right after that it said chime. Which my phone went off for a txt message. I love the paranormal but for something to speak through a phone I'm still a little skeptical.
