Fantastic

This app works so well it's scary. I can't believe I'm actually editing my custom PHP website from a different country so easily. The FTP connection works seamlessly- better than full FTP apps I have on my desktop computer. And support for a minor question was quick via email. Outstanding!

Don't works with IPV6

My phone has IPV6 and I can't access the FTP of my company when I'm over LTE, as soon as I use a wifi connection with IPV4 I can access without problems.

Good App

For iPhone and all the apps iPhone defaults to make you pay for this saved me. Thanks for creating this app and making the basic access free, while it is not intuitive to guess what does what if you have basic ftp knowledge this works, improve the interface to be more user friendy and some features from the pro version and this app could be a rockstar for web developers and storefront owners. Thanks again!

Bit Clunky but Works Well

It's certainly not the easiest interface in the world to navigate but, if you needed an ftp with HTML editing or whatever, this works like a charm. Obviously this is meant for people who are very familiar with writing web environments from scratch. It won't help people much if they are reliant on DreamWeaver, Wixx or some other common website building tool.

Hangs on file download

Ready to buy the Pro version, but if the free version fails to load files, it's pointless. FTP works fine on PC client. The app loaded directories, but failed to even load simple JPEG images.

Great FTP and more APP!

I was looking for one and already had their other product, an EXIF viewer(a must for shutterbugs), and saw they had this FTP app.

It's clean, straight forward, and has a great flow. I'm not a super user just needed simple FTP and some other "desktop" style features on my phone. This fits the bill nicely!

Works well but annoying pop up

I use this app mainly for copying images off my iPhone and onto my home server for safe keeping.

I would give it 5 stars but the author of the app insists on showing a nag popup every so often imploring me to buy the pro version. I have no need for the pro features and I won't be bullied into buying it just because of the popup.

Fantastic App

I'm not a huge fan of editing files directly on the server, but this really came in handy when I had no desktop or laptop access. I was able to make some emergency updates to my site. Very smooth and reliable with a friendly and professional interface.

App won't launch. Has generic install icon. But I was able to delete the app.

OOOPS !!!

There is something wOrng with the latest update. The process starts, then never completes.

App icon is stuck showing a partial process indicator. The app can Not be deleted.

App store shows app with the typical square inside a circle. Selecting it causes the app to be installed again, however it never finishes.

Great tool! Love it.

I use this app to access security camera videos on my ftp server. My Foscam cameras automatically upload motion alert triggered videos to ftp server.

It was super easy to configure the ftp server with this app. And this app even allows me to view videos (mkv file type) right within the app. Awesome!!!

I highly recommend this very user friendly app! Thank you developers!

Just what I needed

This app is just what I needed. I can access the pdf documents that I need to read for work directly from my employers server; no need to email or use any additional space in my phone. The free version only allows one ftp server at the time, but it is very easy to simply add the address for a new one if you need to connect to a different server. Truly recommend.

I only use this to send third party books to my various e readers. It works fine sending to Kindle from outside of Kindle.😃

When I accidentally deleted my library of books from my Gerty e reader app, FTP had them stored but I was not able to download the books back into Gerty.😂

Free version next to useless

Only when you get deep, deep into the free version do you find out it's so badly crippled that you can't use it to upload files from your iPad or iPhone device to a remote FTP server - which basically is most of the reason for having an FTP client at all!! The free version feels like a con/bait-and-switch - since it takes great pains not to make this huge limitation clear right up front.

Also, the English version of the manual badly needs to be re-written by someone with more proficiency in the language, since much of it isn't really comprehensible.

Great resource

Of all the apps on my iPhone, this FTP manager ranks up there with email and texting. Because I keep my calendar online I can use this application to check my calendar but more importantly I can add items to it wherever I am.

Iphone 6 with iOS 8.1 - I've tried LOTS of ftp apps. Not only is this the only one that does exactly what I need it to do, but it's easy to use, it has good file management built into it, when playing music it doesn't stop when you leave the app, and it allows you to password protect the app. Very much well worth the money.

Nice start of an app but needs a lot of work

*Selecting photos for upload can only be done by image. No way to select based on file NAME. If transfers fail, it is impossible to determine which files need to be re-selected

*Start a transfer, back out a few levels. Is transfer still in progress? Can't tell. No indication it might be cancelled or was cancelled and no obvious way to get back.

*Stalls: no progress or obvious way to restart

*Failures: no way to retry just the failures

*No warnings about overwrite, or indication that it has skipped files that already exist.

*No option to skip/overwrite files that already exist.

*No easy indication of how many files got uploaded.

*Progress shows "Failed" but no indication of WHY it failed.

*No setting to prevent the iPhone from going to sleep.

*No way to contact the developer.

*Won't run in the background? Switch to a different app and all transfers that were waiting FAIL with no way to just restart the fails

Tried it on an iPad 2. Kept saying FTP address was invalid. Then I tried it on an iPhone 4S, and got it to work, but minimal lag. Overall, you're better off just using the client version on a pc

PDF manual claims it can act as FTP server, but requires purchase to do so.

When trying to upload photo, no matter which photo you pick, it brings up 1st photo in your list. Then you have to scroll forever to get to other end of photos. Only to find out none of the options here do anything.

It's obvious any positive ratings for this app are from the app makers themselves.

Such a helpful app!

I host a minecraft server with treepuncher, so I use FTP to access my files. When my server messed up, I downloaded this app, and within 10 minutes it was up and ready. Took about 30 seconds to set up, and now I can fix my server in the fly. I love this app.

This is ridiculous. The useful features it claims are only available on the paid version. Like manage files!

All you can do is view the files with the free version! I would rather pay $10 for an app that is honest and upfront, than $1.99 for an app that deceives you into installing the free version that doesn't really do anything!

Need a way to allow the PC filezilla access to all files and folders on the I-Pod without manually selecting each and every file on the I-Pad. Allow access to the "Root" folder of the I-Pad and all subfolders. Maybe this feature is already there, but I can't find it.

Cannot even create folders

I finally saw my FTP files on an app but i needed to buy their $2 app to upload anything, and all I wanted to do was upload a pic saved in my Photo Stream onto my FTP server. As for downloading pics from the FTP I could view pics alright but it won't save to Photo Stream or anything, just options for opening in other non-default apps, like tumblr. And the add folder button is useless.

Basically it can actually access my FTP server files but any other useful functionality doesn't work. I could do all this in safari with a web based client and have a better experience than this.

This is a simple and easy to use app!

But without being able to try file transfers I have no idea if it's going to do what I want. Namely:

Transfer photo albums (in entirety not just by selecting photos; in other words a full folder / directory transfer) from ios device to FTP server.

Excellent app

I like this app very much. Quick and easy to use. Many features made my life easy with documents on iPad. I usually save my documents from my desktop and use them from this app. It even lets me save to iBooks and read them later without wi-fi.

Very Useful

I downloaded a few other FTPs for the iPad and this was by far the best. It has an editor built in so that makes it a lot more useful.
