One thing I don’t like is people playing with my money. They claim to take 10% but if someone buys something from me for 19.12 they charge $2 flat out. That’s a little more than 10% and overtime it adds up a lot this is unacceptable.

I signed up over a year ago, but went through the deleting process of my account (personal stuff required most my attention at the time. I have been trying to re-join but can’t. It says there is “something wrong with my phone number.” That only leads me to think Depop didn’t actually delete my account, right? Wrong. I emailed them TWO WEEKS AGO, and someone finally wrote back yesterday but couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my account so he just left the conversation. I had to give Depop a screenshot of my phone number UNDER MY PHONE SETTINGS to prove my number/identity. Okay umm that was concerning, being that other information is there too but if I edit the SS it’ll look like I’m omitting something. Nothing could be found with that or my email. Depop asked me for the username I used...I’m sorry but who remembers a username they had deleted OVER A YEAR AGO? Best part? Depop just left me hanging; no answers, nothing. I even tried to sign up via my Apple account - that failed too. Don’t waste your time. Too many privacy concerns, and no support.

Here I am today wasting my mortal life dealing with these complicated individuals. They just want money and it’s very clear from the email promotions as well as the percentage they take from sales. Now 10% may not seem like a lot when something is $10, however when it becomes $100 and you lose $10 it’s a little bit more of a dent. Okay okay I know I explained how math works, but having to actually make money during this time of uncertainty is hard to come by. On top of the fees they take, PayPal also takes a percentage. The sellers on here are nice, but the customer service blows.
You have a better chance of making money on selling through Instagram or literally anything that isn’t depop. The help center should be called “company coverage” because all they do is cover the company’s butt for whatever these idiots are doing that they can blame you for.
Sorry to be a Karen, but this actually is the worst thing available on the App Store.

Hello fellow Depop seller here. I was emailed and notified that 1/4th of my entire stock shop listings were removed due to “term infringement” (inaccurate keywords?) and that I can’t repost at risk of being banned. As I was not aware of this and it was a large portion of my product inventory I would like the option to have my posts reinstated so that I may edit the items captions or that I may have permission to repost the items since they are simply my clothing pieces. It seems unfair to not give sellers a warning before removing products for sale. Typically I have had great experiences with the platform but I am appalled by how this situation has been handled. Depop, I have sent you two emails, two DM’s, one Instagram post and two comments. No reply. Hold all sellers accountable not just small business owners like myself that don’t make you the big bucks.

First and last time I order here. I bought a bag on here and it never got to me I called USPS emailed them, talked to depop, and talked to buyer never got anything back. No bag or money so I just lost money and never got anything and depop won’t do anything about it I’m really disappointed and scared to buy from here now because I don’t feel protected. They told me they can’t do anything about it so I didn’t get any of my money back so take your chances buying on here.
Also guys just go ahead and look at all the most recent reviews, do you see how many are one star ? if you get this app and never get your items or app shuts off every second you’ll see why you should’ve have gotten this app
-DONT even try to tell me to look at your buyers protection I read the whole thing and it literally tells me that depop will give me a refund if I don’t receive my item, WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN so take your response somewhere else or update your buyers protection, or give me my money back for something I did not get.

This app is fine occasionally for sellers but the fees are absurd, there is always some new glitch, and now they have it set where if you don’t pay very close attention you as a seller could end up paying for shipping without even meaning to. Hi everyone, I was having a huge problem with getting any money at all since Depop and PayPal both get a percentage from my sale. If anyone else has this problem I’d try shipping without using Depop and using your own shipping when posting your item. Here’s how they do things here in Depop (this is from an email i received from them)
**Listing items for sale on Depop is completely free but we apply a 10% commission fee on all items sold. This could show up on your PayPal activity as an "advertising" fee but this is just how PayPal have chosen to word it. We won’t ever take a fee for listing.
Be aware that a PayPal transaction fee also applies to all successful sales which is 2.9% + $0.30 PayPal commission. These fees are automatically deducted before the payment reaches your PayPal account.
If the fee is higher than 10%, this is likely because you selected Ship With Depop. When you Ship With Depop, as a seller you’ll be charged the cost of the shipping label and the Depop fee in one go, these deductions wont show up separately on your PayPal activity page. This is the case even if the buyer pays for shipping as they pay you the additional amount for shipping, but we then take the payment for the shipping label from you.

I’ve always been patient with depop and the changes over the years (shipping costs, popularizing sellers, etc.) but this grid view search is really frustrating. There are so many items on depop and I tend to shop like a thrift store. Not always looking for something very specific. The 2x2 grid view is wildly annoying. There should be an option to choose 3x3 or 2x2. Furthermore, this view really makes it harder for smaller sellers to get their items viewed. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to shop this way and won’t be until it’s adjusted.

I love selling on depop, I really love it. it was such a great way for me to make extra cash and even if you don’t have a large following, keeping your shop updated and having an appealing look makes it easy to get sales (good products too of course) BUT PLEASEEEE depop let me offer people multiple shipping options. I would LOVE if you guys had a button when checking out that would let buyers decide what type of shipping they want. I offer different types because my items are small enough to mail in a regular envelope with a stamp so I offer free shipping, and it’s really bothersome when people don’t read my shipping info or the description, don’t ask for fast or tracked shipping, then complain. Having a little section in your bag to just PICK would be so convenient. Apps like aliexpress have this option in their bags, just do it please I would CRY with joy.
