I love this app, as it allows me to send a card quickly without having to go to a store and search endless racks. The options are diverse, thoughtful, and beautiful enough that I always find what I need. The app is slow at times, but other than that. A Fave!

Nice alternative to paper invite

I think that Paperless Post has some lovely options and I seem to find just what I am looking for. I don't mind spending the extra money for add-ons. It is so nice not to go through all of the hassle of picking out and filling out cards and then addressing the envelopes and then getting stamps and then mailing. Very stream-lined! And eco-friendly option which i love.

Unusable due to forced feedback pop up

I hadn't done ANYTHING in the app except log in with Google. I clicked to add a recipient to an invite I did on the web and suddenly my screen flashed white and hen went to a solid yellow background with a pop up asking me to rate my experience. I clicked one star, as here, because that's just about the WORST possible user experience, and it asked me to write feedback in a subsequent box. However, it slowed my system down so much that I couldn't even type and I had to force quit the app. I won't be using them for invites again, even through the web.

Unusable

Used to be able to create and send great cards with this, but now it's just unusable: try to edit the text inside a card - the pinch and zoom doesn't work, you can't select all text at once, and text is hidden at the bottom of the screen which you can't edit. Tried on iPhone 6+ Plus and iPad Pro 12.9". The iPad version doesn't even rotate to landscape mode. They have some great designs and I'd be happy to pay for a lot of these cards - if only editing worked.

Need proper sort

The events are displayed in postbox with date received and sorted by date received. The date of the actual event is not visible on the list, you can access it only after going to the particular event. I really don't care when I received the invite but I do need to know when the event is taking place!!! If you get a lot, the ones the further in the future will be displayed on to and you have to scroll down to something happening soon. Also, you have to click and click and click on each one to see the date, and memorize all dates to see what's next.

It's the essential invitation creation app

I'm not someone who particularly cares about creating fancy invites to things. I'm comfortable slinging a text out to friends to say "beers at mine at 6pm" and that's fine by me. However, this was not an acceptable method of inviting our friends to my engagement party with the future missus, and I was forced to search elsewhere for methods of communication. I found paperless post, and the connected app, and it couldn't have been easier to create a lovely invite and manage my guest list all on my phone! It's a nice easy way to host a party or connect with friends and family where a text might get missed. Now it's: you are cordially invited to acquire brews at 6pm the night of the 4th, in my living room, and enjoy a rousing game of dungeons and dragons. Tl;dr get this app.

Great app and service

I ordered my evite save the date and my printed wedding invitations through paperless post. I'm thrilled with this service. App was easy to use. At times it would freeze but nothing that a quick refresh couldn't correct. I did every step on my iPad and when I placed my order I sent a follow up to add copy on the back of my card. They did exactly what a good
company should do. They got back to me, read my request and without any issues added the additional text to my order. The printed cards arrive today exactly as I wanted. It saved me a ton of time, it's a great end product and a reasonable price. I will be a repeat customer.

Its like the old days

I miss the days when cards were sent and people took time to select the best ones -- We have the chance to do it online now- or order then in paper-- I do both - and paperless post makes it a pleasure.
I recommend it to anyone who has a message to send - a birthday or s thank you-- whatever the reason- this is the place to find the right card -and its easy to accomplish- affordable too -- some are even free! Its hard to believe it, but it really does what its supposed to---you cant ask for more--- get this ap and you will love it!

Wonderful

Paperless Post has always provided an excellent platform for sending cards, invites, and messages of any sort. It's fun to sort through design options, save your favorites and personalize to perfection. For invitations, the tracking features are immensely helpful as you can see who has opened your invite, who hasn't, etc. and it counts your guests up for you! Message boards and map integrations make it even simpler to plan, invite and party! Though the apps don't have as many features are the desktop site, they are fully capable of what one needs to get the job done. Love!

Bubble Burster

This app is great! Easy to use. Lots of options. Great to stay organized during event planning . . . then you have to spend to invite more then 10 people -_- you have to buy coins to invite more people even if another already invited guest says no (there goes wasted coins you can't get back) and each sent invite cost 3 coins so even the least expensive package runs out depending how many more people you want to invite. The app is great then it gets annoying. I love it but if I had known this before inviting guests I wouldn't have used it. Now I have to keep purchasing to invite more people or email the rest and have 2 different planning platforms :(

Extremely Convenient!

I found Paperless Post while searching online for ways to send invites electronically, and I am so glad that I found it! It has been extremely convenient for creating beautiful invitations, sending them, and keeping track of guest responses to them. I think it's pretty neat that should you want to send paper invites based off of an online invite you create, you can convert them and have them made as paper invites as well, if you wish.
It took a couple of minutes to get use to the user interface, but it was all downhill from there. I use both the website and mobile app together, and I would recommend using the website on a computer to create the invites (so you have more space to edit the invites) and the mobile app for tracking guest responses (attending or not) and statuses (whether they have opened the invite or not).
I would highly recommend this app, and Paperless Post in general, to people who want to send beautiful invites in a cost efficient and quick manner.

Beautiful Designs and easy to use

I just stumbled on this application and glad I did! Invites, are something that I love and every year I enjoy the art of making birthday cards for my son using many great sites out there. This year is different because I have moved to South America and it is not so easy to order cards for special hand delivery. I found this application and was elated to find I have this option and although I can't download to print, I think it will be just as nice!

Love it! A must for entertainers!

Before PaperlessPost, I was not sending as many birthday cards or notes to my friends and family as I wanted because I am picky and it takes time and an extra line on my todo list to find and to buy the right card. There are so many classy and fun cards on PaperlessPost that are easily filtered by categories and are easily customized. I will not end this review without mentioning how easy it is to track and manage RSVPs for events. With everything you are able to do, it makes so much sense to use PaperlessPost in this digital age. Elegant and fun for keeping in touch

I love, love, love this app! Whether it's to send last minute cards because I just didn't get my act together to buy and mail them for a holiday or to send a quick card to a friend having a tough day, Paperless Post has lovely witty designs for every occasion and is extremely user friendly. Rather than let an occasion go by unnoticed, this app lets you spend five minutes preparing a quick and thoughtful card sent via email to keep in touch in today's hectic, distracting world. Texts and emails are great but there is a charm to receiving a card, even if it is through your email address, that just can't be replaced!

A Class Act

I began using paperless post as a virtual tool for a work function and have quickly incorporated it in to all aspects of my life. It's convenient mobile and online platforms allow you to build customized cards for any occasion - you can personalize each mailing, schedule mailings in advance, and do mass distributions for major events.
To be cost effective and remain in the 'free to send' sector, most often you simply need to eliminate the virtual envelope feature when you build your card from the drop down menu on the left side of your screen when you can edit envelope lining. I do this occasionally but have come to so value the utility of the tool, making a small financial contribution to a company and less money than purchasing in store.
Best compliment I received was from an interviewer who said my thank you note to him using Paperless Post was a 'class act'.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Can't post to my own invite wall

The fact that paperless cost $ already irritates me enough, but justify it because I've thought it's A) offers cuter invites, B) is more customizable C) the UX is simple. Well, u fortunately both B and C no longer are true so therefore the 2 start rating.
Reasons I'm going to start using Evite over PP now: I can't adjust the invite design once sent. The app is awful- force closes way too often + I can't upload photos to the invite wall from my phone (yes my app is up to date). It's really not that customizable unless you want to spend money, which if that's the case then I'm going to purchase physical invites.
Hope things change.

Paperless Post Rocks!

I have found this to be a wonderful, painless way to invite people from your contact list with. Pretty, organized invitation which is not too expensive. I like it that you can easily customize the title, comments for the guests, and then it keeps track of who has RSVP'd to you, so you know what is going on, all in one convenient place. I used it for a gathering of ladies before, and it was suggested by the website "Doodle Poll" which also is great: it allows you to choose a date on which most of the guests are available if you are looking to line up calendars.

Wonderful App!

I have created and mailed out over 50 invitations using this App- from formal dinner invitations to golf events to club meetings. It is the best on the market and gives you wonderful choices to use in your design. You can easily see which of your guests respond, when they respond, add guests and send them a personal or group message. To KandG's mom and the other bad reviewer, "you just do not know how to use it". Take time to learn how to use it. Very easy and many designs to select from. Love it!

Want to give it 5!!

I want to love this app, but it continues to be buggy and a bit of a pain to use. It is a great concept and I love the cards and options. But, here's my issue...I just sent a bday card and this is how it went- picked free card, did editing ( which was a bit clunky, but got it done) wanted to see a finished sample before sending, but was taken to the send page where I was told that the free card was 2 coins?? I was sending it on line so I didn't add an envelope or made any changes other than the text..so why the 2 coins? I just went ahead and hit send when the app crashed and then I got an email saying " your card has been sent"!!!!
So, it works, but really PP, you just put out an update and this is what is still happening?? I will keep this app on my phone in hopes that the next time I use it I will be able to up those stars!

Intensely great and efficient card creating and delivering app!

Simple, perfect, amazing, brilliant cards to create and deliver either electronically or physically.
Q: Cost?
A: Not too far priced from a generic card you'd get from a store with a lame pre-printed message you settle for finally just b/c it vaguely states something close to what you hope to express to the person whom opens it.
With PaperlessPost you get to uniquely tailor and directly convey your message/idea from you to the hands of the person on your mind.

Looks slick at first, but is actually a misleading mess!

If you make an event and add a cohost, the cohost can't do anything. They can't invite people, they can't edit the invite. What is the point of being able to add a cohost if they have no ability to help? If you have multiple email addresses (as I'm sure almost everyone does) you can merge them into one account, but then there is no way to undo it. Also there is no way to just delete your account if you don't want an account with paperless anymore. That is absolutely ridiculous for an online service. Beware creating an account because they will steal your info and you can't undo it.
They make it misleading if you have to pay for something. It tells you at the beginning at the bottom how much a particular invite costs, but once you make a draft and go back to it, there is no way to see whether it is free or how much they are going to charge you to finish it.
Once you start experimenting a with potential design there is no way to exit out with saving it in your drafts if you decide you don't want it. There should be an option whether to save it or not, but you have no choice.

Best online invite sorce

I've tried a few. This is my second season with PP for an annual holiday party. It's so easy to set up and manage...to the person who didn't think they could change # attending, I found you just edit the invitee and you can change amount. I used this for the first time this year and found I could estimate head count and then tweak it with replies. But I do seem to need to ask guests to confirm by message if it's more than the person/group invited. It's pretty seamless on iOS devices, I've never used my computer for this. All in all its really user friendly and design options are really great.

Everyone should invest in an app like this!

I'm a new mom and work full time. While i try to be as thoughtful as possible, it is so easy to forget to send out thank-yous, get well notes, congratulations, etc. The cards are so well-designed and cost pennies to mail or send online. I feel that this is a godsend for ppl that don't have time to be at a table to write out a card. I've done invites with this for an annual family dinner. I also used this for Christmas cards. You can't go wrong with this app. A little thoughtfulness goes a long way and this app helps you accomplish it with just a few clicks!

This is a gift!

Seriously. When you have to send out 50 or 100 invites, you want them to look nice, be fast, efficient, organized and inexpensive or free. I've used paperless post for at least 2 large family events and it totally does the job whether I work on my iPhone alone or also log in from my windows 10 computer. Ivan get beautiful results without spending a penny, or I can add to the look for a low cost. That said, I'm still on 4s and os7 something, so I can't address how this works on latest models.

Pricey & STILL hasn't been delivered

The first and only time I was ever able to send a card on time was with this app, which is why I was excited about it. Created and sent a very important card for Father's Day after a sticky year with my dad. My mom texted me today to let me know it STILL wasn't there, which makes it almost *2 weeks* that it was in transition, despite being emailed that my card was printed and sent. It's a great idea for e-cards but NOT paper cards unless you have enough foresight to send a month in advance.
Additionally-- the price for the card shown is BULK pricing. Who on earth would bulk order the same Birthday card with the same message inside?! This shouldn't be displayed this way. I feel like it's to get you to put thought and care designing the card, love it and THEN find out it's $7 for the 1 with shipping, so you just end up buying it because you've already put time into it.

With so many features I expected there to be a cost

The free 35 coins gets you approximately 11 invites and I paid just $14 for more and I could have paid less but since I intend to continue using it I didn't mind. I've used e-vite and did not have nearly the good experience I've had with this app. I love the designs, the type selection and wording changes that made it so easy to edit my chosen invitation to meet my own needs. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the ineffective cost explanation ~ would be nice to know total cost for each invite instead of being told it is free. It's misleading and smacks of an unethical service. I do have a small invite budget and that is why I continue to use this app; the more you purchase the cost per invite decreases.

Hidden fees

I love their wide selection and it's easy to fall in love with a card. Awesome that guests can comment and post pictures after the event. Not awesome that it uses more 'coins' than it says it needs, even if it says a card is free. If a card costs one coin to send to one person, it'll actually cost two or three. Before you know it, you've already sent invites to 12 of 18 people and you're stuck because you've run out of coins. Anyway I asked my friends to ignore that invite and used evite instead. :/ I really wanted to like it. I went on their faq's and about pages and it didn't offer an explanation for the ramped up coin costs. Use if you don't have a budget.

Simply perfect

I needed to send invites via email and via USPS. I found paperless post after doing some research on Google. The service worked great for my needs. The email cards worked good and the app was a nice way to easily keep track of guests. But the actual paper cards were far beyond what I expected. They were gorgeous! The card stock was nice and thick. The design/ink was good quality. Everything looked very professional. Even the box they came in was pretty. Very happy with them. Would recommend.

Want to give 5 stars but...

Please fix the functionality of the app! The cards are gorgeous and classy, but to not be able to edit the event after it's been saved on the app is just silly! Who uses a computer anymore?? I do everything from my phone or my iPad and it was a real hassle to figure out that I couldn't edit the date of the event on my phone after I saved it. Also, I'm getting notifications that people are posting comments and they aren't showing up on the comment wall on this current version! Please fix these two things and it will be a 5 star rating! Thanks! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Classy and Thorough!

I used this as an alternative to e-vite and will use again in the future. I used a free option since it was just for a kids party but was impressed with the elegant and simple patterns and choices. Even for free! I love the way this looks so classy too. Nice font and no ads (at least not yet? Please consider keeping as free- it's gorgeous the way it is) I found navigating a little clunky at first but you get the hang of it eventually. It is very thorough and allows you to send reminders and invite people to share pictures. The picture option is probably my favorite feature. So nice to send a link to everyone with a thank you email. However, would be nice to have an option to send a link to all guests that attended - maybe you can, but I ended up having to send out separate messages to each guest. (Hence the 4 stars not 5). Fine for a dozen people but can't imagine doing that for a bigger party. I also had an odd time uploading photos - some quirky things like it looked like it uploaded two of every picture but when refreshed it showed only one copy. And seemed like it could really only handle 6-8 pictures per upload on average. (Might have been due to the file size?) Overall, very satisfied and already getting emails from people saying they loved the link to the pictures.

Generally OK But BIG Problem

The app is pretty easy to use, but my fiancee didn't notice the number of guests option at the beginning of the process and so all of the invites went out as single guests and once it's sent, you can't change it. So guests who were forced to call rather than RSVP online with the correct number of people coming. And since we still can't edit that, we are keeping track in our heads of who has a +1 and who doesn't. Thank God we only have 50 people or this would have been catastrophic. But we are having to hand count the RSVPS and this is a MAJOR hassle. I'd use another service or be VERY careful when you send.

Great concept- kinks still being worked out

The app offers lots of options and is relatively user friendly. Lots of the features are nice - guest tracking and option to request mailing address and option to download tracking info as an excel spreadsheet. There are kinks, though. You cannot scroll all the way to the bottom of the invite options. Editing text and photos is challenging. Some features work better on a phone and others work better on a computer. The extra info link is hard for guests to find. Posting to the comment wall has glitches. It is annoying that options that cost extra money are offered without explicitly saying that, so if you're trying to do a free invite and you select an envelope, suddenly it's not free. Overall, I am very grateful this app exists and I bet within a year it will be much better. If I were paying I would probably give it a lower rating, but it's free and it's making my life easier to coordinate two wedding celebrations in different cities :)

Convenient way to stay in touch, classy way to invite for meetings

I have started using this app and the website regularly. First I used it to send invitations to my sons Eagle Scout Ceremony. It was a very reasonable way to send out a nice invitation, keep tabs on the RSVP, and have a place where people could write notes. I now use it often for cards to my nieces and nephews as well as for committee meetings for volunteer work. There are quite a few free options and I use those a lot. They all go out as scheduled and are just easy. App lets me keep up with who's coming!

Confused/disappointed

When I found this site thru Yahoo, I was so excited to begin designing and sending out e-cards. Some of the cards, invites, etc, do show that some are "FREE" and some require "COINS", however, once you spend the time searching which card you want, then designing it with the font, color, etc. ( which in fact is somewhat difficult to figure out), then preview the card... Then it's finally time to hit "send". SURPRISE.... even though it said it was free, it requires "COINS".
Then you look at the price of the coins, and the smallest amount is ten dollars, then goes up to over one hundred dollars.
And it states it's FREE?
Uuummmm I do believe this is considered false advertising. Looks like I'll be deleting this App.
I'm SOOO disappointed. 😠😟

Oh my god!!! Horrible Card. Do NOT get this app.

I thought it was kinda interesting be able to make or choose one of their cards and for what I paid almost $5 dollars for that card it doesn't work none of your penny's. I think you will get a better printing at your own house and better because you can actually get the quality you want and the size. Their cards are so poorly made and the card paper just as the regular card stock paper you buy at any store. They should be ashamed of their company. I believe that my 10 yrs old boy would done better than that. The quality is awful it kinda looks like they were running out of ink. I want my money back! Gees! And knowing that there is better printing companies out there for less. Don't even waste your time building a card that because you're going to be disappointed. $5 dollars tossed in the trash!

Free app, but costs to send invites

Came across this app looking for an alternative to eVite. Liked that the app was free & worked well from my iPhone. Card options are decent. Typing in cards is a little tricky from an phone because of the navigation and I had to keep re-tapping and fixing text to get it right. There's also no options to change font size or type. I did really like the feature that allowed for in app messaging to guests, and the ability to monitor who had received, opened, or RSVP'd was really nice. However (& this is a big however), it cost me roughly $15 to invite 20 guests using the electronic invitation version. The app gives you start up "tokens" to defray costs, but it only covers sending about 5 invitations. What was really irritating is that I only discovered this AFTER spending a bunch of time downloading the app and designing my invitation. Felt like sneaky hidden fees. I may not use again - too pricey for an electronic invitation!

Beautiful invites ... A couple of things could help

1) it is not clear at all how to save a draft, to come back to later. After a lot of work, I lost it entirely and had to go back and re-do the whole thing;
2) mail list...they give you an excel form to fill out with names/addresses, but this is not the form that works to send the invite; one has to look up for oneself how to convert the form into cvs to send...and it doesn't tell you that, you only get a notice that you're not in the right format. Huh?
Otherwise, great...if you get the hang of it!
3) I.E.: on a scale of 1-5, user friendly is 2-3.

Great app but beware of costs

I was not aware of the costs associated with sending each invitation. You should have a maximum on each invitation. I already committed to a particular design with my daughter so I couldn't back out. I invited 16 kids, and I think it cost $20 for an online invite because I had to buy additional coins after an initial purchase.
You should have the cost per invite "sent" clearly marked for the first time user. Also, maybe have a "max" like $5 or $8? You would get more users. The cost seems excessive. I am not even sure if I will use it more than one more time. I know you have to make money, and this is a business but you could get more repeat business if it wasn't a nickel-and-dime situation.

One of my favorite apps

I have used paperless post for numerous birthday party invitations, thank you cards, birthday cards, social event invitations, and notes to friends "just because." I have been 100% satisfied with their product every single time. They offer heaps of thoughtful (and customizable) designs in both the free and $ categories. The search function works well and is easy to use and the RSVP function works smoothly (and is customizable as well). Overall navigation through the app is fluid and just makes sense. The designers of paperless post offer a brilliant product and I recommend it to anyone without reservation.

I wanted to love it

I am giving 2 stars because this app has great potential but I will have to delete it in the current version. The 2 big problems:
1. You can't edit the "title" section so if it is not a wedding, thank you, birthday, or holiday you can't make a card. I am trying to throw a retirement party for my mom- nothing applies.
2. I loved the cards so I tried to adapt a birthday party card and editing is next to impossible. I wish I had a video of my actions to show how frustrating it is to select the proper section and type- it keeps wanting you to cut/paste. I give up for now but might check back with a UI improvement. (BTW my phone is 6 plus- so maybe just not so great on that phone)

One of the greatest Apps ever!

Paperless Post does an amazing job of offering stunning paper and online invitations, with many cool options that allow you to be as creative as you want to be sending a card, party invites or getting classy stationery. I find the App easy to navigate, user friendly, and filled with an outstanding selection of products for every taste level at many different ages. If every biz could run this effectively and beautifully the world would be a better place. Have fun with their products! I adore this site and use it all the time. Never had a glitch either. Thx PP!

60th Birthday Diva Party

I recently used Paperless Post for my 60th Birthday. I'm a singer, and wanted something fun and festive, and something that would embody my persona.
I found the perfect invitation in their birthday options. Not only did I get to create a unique invitation, I was able to chat back and forth with guests, send out a reminder card, and then have everyone upload photos they took at my party.
I highly recommend this company. My daughter-in-law turned me on to it and I just love the quality.

Spanks Evite.

I'm one that prefers printed invitations and appreciate the etiquette behind them. That being said, sometimes it just makes sense to do it via email and saves a ton of time and money. Paperless Post gives me the elegance, fun, and feel of a printed correspondence but in email format and with some great tracking and guest management options. So far I haven't really encountered any significant shortcomings or bugs. It's thoughtfully designed with an intuitive workflow and great styles and customization options.
This is definitely a new favorite tool for me and highly recommended for anyone who entertains or organizes events of any kind. You can do cards too, but that doesn't flesh out all the features of the app. Thanks for this option! This is actually a desirable alternative to printed paper, whereas I only begrudgingly used evite in the past when the circumstances dictated.

Classy, beautiful, & convenient

Paperless Post offers a beautiful selection of cards - much nicer than several other apps I've tried. Works nicely on iPad, although a few functions are not exactly intuitive to navigate through. Nonetheless, I have been using Paperless Post for four years (web), and now their iPad app makes it simple and easy to send e-cards quickly. Many friends have commented on how classy the cards look...not tacky or crass like some other greeting card apps/services out there.

Elegant stationary for a new era.

I was pretty new to Paperless Post before I started planning my wedding, but now I can't imagine sending party invites or save the dates any other way! They offer wonderful designs that look great online but I love that Paper options are available as well. That has allowed me to accommodate my technologically savvy friends along with my old school family members who want something delivered via snail mail, and all at a very reasonable price. I also just recently discovered that you can even connect the RSVP link to an outside website (i.e our Wedding Website) which is making our planning so much easier! I love, love, love Paperless Post!

Awesome app!

I'm so glad I found Paperless Post! I love the way the cards are delivered, design options, and how the RSVPs are tracked/organized. This app is so convenient and easy to use. The only slight inconvenience is that you can't edit the invite on your phone after it's sent. You can only do this on the iPad or computer, but it's easy to do everything else on your phone. It's also nice to be able to get notifications for RSVPs, comments, and messages. I definitely like the designs and options better than Evite.

frustrated with webdesign

While I love the cards, costs and functionality, the site is not well designed. Once you start a process, it is not easy to follow it through. Has some really neat features, but the iPad and mobile are seriously lacking. Can t access my contacts to make changes or updates, hard to figure out where to go on the site and I consider my self way ahead of the curve with using the apps for just about everything i do. If I try to add a new client, the save button won't activate so I can't save the work. some very frustrating moments for such a great idea.

Incredible app!

This app is incredible! After sending out our save the dates it was very nice to be able to watch real time as people opened the cards. You are able to easily visualized who has opened and who has not, as well as if any addresses are no longer valid. There is also a very easy to use message feature for any additional info you want to get to your guests. One flaw; as I try to see the status of a particular guest the app crashes if I try to search through the invites by name.

Stuck at "Sending."

The app is beautiful and I love the idea of paperless cards. I always have. The text input could use some work, as it's currently a little clunky (despite providing color options and nice fonts to choose from). My biggest problem, however, is that after designing a card for my mother's birthday (which happens to be Valentine's Day), I went to send the card and it simply said "sending" with a spinning wheel for several minutes. I had to close the app twice and try again to get it to send. Maybe the servers were overloaded due to it being Valentine's Day? Idk... but whatever it was, it made for an incredibly high effort experience. I hope that's fixed soon.

Paperless Post

I like this app, except it would be better if I could direct others to add guests... Not even sure this is an option... It may be. Also, I'd prefer it if the user interface was easier to use on the app & when editing on a lap top.
The biggest improvement needs to be the way I add guests in a group & the restrictions on the format of the email addresses. This may not speak directly to the app, but it def needs to be suggested.
I do like the site design, the lay out (for the most part) - it'd be better to have easy options/sections to click on - "who's coming, declined, guest list, easy guest add, delete, & location of venue."
The card options are great, but having to pay for an envelope, background, stamp, etc, seems a bit ridiculous.
Thx!!!!

Cute invites but not user friendly

I was so excited when I learned that Paperless Post finally came out with an app because I find that for many people evites go to spam only to be disappointed with how not user friendly it is. On my iPad, the app only appears in portrait, not landscape. I assumed the invite auto populated (like evite) as it's not at all obvious that you type directly over what exists in the sample invitation. There is no "preview" function that I could find so I ended up sending 80 invites that had the sample information and our actual party invitation just down in the corner of the email. Confusing for the guests to say the least. I also don't see where addresses are saved to a master guest list so unless you are simply sending a message to guests related to the same invite, you have to retype the addresses (the do at least autopopulate if you've typed it before) for each new invite.

Not user friendly

I just downloaded this ap so that I could design and send invites from my IPad. After entering 50 email addresses and entering all party detail, I discovered that there is a cost to using this service. I went ahead and proceeded because I like the convenience of using my IPad. I then paid and send out the invite only to discover that the ap did not sent out the invite with my party details, but rather the details shown in the template. I then find no way to edit and resend nor a way to delete/cancel and start over! There are also no instructions to reference how to properly use this service! I did send several messages to support for help...we'll see if they can help! I am not impressed with this ap at all! Buyer beware!

So Easy

This is my first time using the App, but so far it is straight forward and makes checking on my invitations and guest list very easy. I often can't get to my computer (which made setting up the initial invite a little challenging), but once it is done, the App lets you check everything from who has opened the invite or not to responding to guests who have RSVPd. Very handy. I was afraid sending out an emailed invite would be tedious to keep track if, but Paperless Post streamlines it all for you. Sweet!

Ok for some applications, not for others

I initially added this app because I wanted the mobile flexibility of knowing who was coming to events I planned or RSVPd to. While the app is missing some previous invites I sent, all that ive been invited to are there; by far and large, it functions just fine in that desired capacity. RSVPs are tracked, which is helpful when you need to access that information AS LONG AS the invite shows up in your account. I've been lucky and the active invite has always been there.
A limitation of the app is that you can only choose from what is offered if you want to look up cards and invites via app. There is no search function, and they don't offer anything other than the cards that seem to be most popular at the time.
An example:
I wanted to use the app show my fiancé some wedding invites I saw on the actual website while we were out for dinner. Turn on the app... No search function. No wedding invites offered on the first page, so we are SOL until we get to a computer. That's just silly. I realize the likelihood of sending out a multiple person invite via iPhone is minimal, but I can't even reference the invites.
If love to see that fixed. I'd likely use the app a lot more.
