Very Useful App
As a speaker, I am always looking for good quotes. This app is very useful and flexible. I can even write and keep track of my own quotes. My only suggestion for improvement is to that the punctuation within the quote is often lacking and makes it hard to read and understand. Otherwise-great app!

The best out there.
A bit clunky. Like editing quotes you've added is problematic. When you do a search by author you can't edit any quote other than the first one that comes up.
Landscape view, for frick sake.
Add landscape Mode.
And stop it from asking me to rate it more than once. It's irritating especially on a paid app.

A very nice app which is long on content and devoid of gimmicks. I look forward to the daily quote and like to throw the die so to speak and see what else pops up.
The save-your-own quote feature is disappointing. Not so sure about accuracy but another reviewer has put me on guard. Perhaps it is just as well you aren't able to select and copy from the app, which I might have wanted.

I enjoy reviewing the QotD! I find many to be very interesting and worthy of saving for future reference & sharing. I'd like to be able to retrieve saved quotes other than by author. If there is a method I haven't found it yet.

After research, months of use...still my favorite
It was important for me to have the flexibility to store my own collection of quotes, tag them & easily sort by topics & authors.
It's also been uncanny how quickly my searches of those provided has yielded the perfect quote for special occasions.
My only remaining desire is to be able to add my own background images; yet this is easily accomplished with QuotesFolder by simple copy & paste.

Best quotes app, minor flaws
This is really the best, most comprehensive and best organized quotes app out there!
There are a couple flaws however. I have noticed that there are duplicate or inaccurate entries with some of the quotes listed. This app does not allow you to delete or edit or add any quotes to the main archive. So, any errors in the quotes, you are stuck with.
You can add your own quotes to this app, but it is in an entirely different section. So, let's say you want to add some William Shakespeare quotes that are not already preloaded into the app. You can do this, and even edit them, but then you will have two different sets of Shakespeare quotes in two different sections of the app, and this makes for a very bad organization of quotes throughout the app that you would like to add to or change.
What the app maker needs to do is add the ability to edit, delete, and add to the main archive. If this is done, the app will be perfect, and it will have my five stars!

Serious Flaws since July update
Import/export does not work. Tried to import quotes from CSV file exported from Quotesfolder and it indicates it an invalid file. Huh!?!
Also no longer syncs between iPhone and iPad.

I look forward to seeing these widely varied quotes delivered to my iOS device everyday! The quotes cover every aspect of life, love, politics, you name it. There's also easy access to look up the author of the daily quote via Wikipedia. You can also mark your favorite quotes and add tags too. A great way to start your day!

Great app! Simple and intuitive in its basic design. However, it would benefit greatly from better organization of the people being quoted. Sort by their profession or topic, in addition to alphabetical order, and this app is near perfect. I prefer the simplistic, neutral colors.

Some grammar errors, but still interesting
I love that this app has a "random" function. I like looking at quotes, but on most quote websites I have to choose a topic or a person in order to see quotes, and I have to look at things in order. With this app, whenever I feel like reading some quotes, I can click and instantly have new quote after another appear on my screen. And I can save the quotes I love!

Close, but not quite there yet
I like the quotes but the punctuation is atrocious, which can drastically change the meaning. There also seems to be very little research regarding the original quote, as four or five different versions of the same quote will sometimes be given. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to search by subject.

Reviewing a few quotes can change one's attitude & direction for the remainder of the day. Throw out the dark stuff. Only drawback is that every other day or so, the proofreader takes the day off.

Some features I would like to see if it!
Here is some New features that I would like to see added!
When I am viewing my quotes, I would like to have the quotes that I am viewing highlighted on the left, or the frame selected on the left! And I would like to have the quotes, read to me, as in reading text! And if the quotes are read to me, I will like to have the ability for it to read the next quote and line!
But to me the most important request is, to know which quote I am reading and it would make it a lot easier if it was highlighted or selected!

I like this app it is simple and does exactly what it says, provides random quotes with the authors name. There is also the feature to email a quote as well. I've not used this feature, but will in the future. I have some "favorites" that I want to share. The search feature is also useful.

Good reference app
I often remember part of a quote or have forgotten who the messenger was and no way of finding a reference to solve the problem. This app takes care of that. I was surprised at the data base of quotes that came with the app and like the ability to add my own quotes although navigating to some functions was a bit confusing at first. Nice to have an immediate source close at hand.

Won't show quote in notification center
I got the app because it says it shows one random quote everyday. Turned out it sends a notification that reminds you to open your app everyday! Why not message you with the daily quote itself so you won't have to open the app everyday?! Please remove the need to OPEN the app for the daily quote and it will deserve 5 stars! Useless for my needs for now.

I have found this app to be extremely helpful when looking up authors of my favorite quotes and finding other quotes they have also done that are new to me. Also, using a keyword to find a genre of quotes from various authors is very helpful.
The info on each author from Wiki is the icing on the cake. I've learned so much.

Exactly the app your device is missing
Bite sized pieces of wisdom in easily digestible sizes. Random quote option, archived folder categorized by name, and search bar make this a well rounded package. Take a few minutes a day and meditate on words, get this app!

3 stars for now until bugs are fixed
Lots of bugs. You cannot edit a quote only delete one...under the edit tab. Also, you cannot add a new quote in the new quote window without deleting the previous that is there. It should open in a blank window. I'm sure with fixes and updates this will be corrected. Then it will be 5 stars.

Still has a ways to go to be good
I love pithy statements, succinct wisdom and catchy one-liners, so I hoped for this app to be really entertaining and useful. While it has a few great quotes, the selection and organization of them is not great at all. And even moe distracting is that the punctuation is often wrong and even missing entirely from some quotes. This app needs editing to be counted as good.

As I was reading through quotes I noticed that some quotes were under multiple authors. This makes me question the validity of the others. Otherwise I would rate it higher as I love the variety of people and topics.

This is without a doubt the coolest "Famous Quote's" App ever developed, I used to type "Famous Quotes" into Google then have to copy n paste them onto my Timeline on Facebook, the. Tried a other quotes app, and it was horrible, it was not streamlined, and was difficult to navigate.
THEN FINALLY I FOUND THIS APP, It is jammed packed full of content, it is easy to navigate(a three year old could); and it has a dedicated sharing option for Twitter & FaceBook. Well thought out

Great program and awesome support
Very complete quote database, really like the ability to add favorite quotes as well as integration of quotes in foreign languages. The developer is very responsive for suggestions and technical support. Would be nice to be able to back up favorites and personal quotes to iCloud, Dropbox or PDF. Also being able to organize favorites into folders or categories.

Hard to believe
It's hard to believe now that I've used this app that every other quote app does not have a links to the authors of the quotes. And even better it uses it's own browser as opposed to linking out to Safari making it lightning fast.
Add to this the abillity to save your favorites and the easiness to export them.
Quotes Folder sets the bar for this type of app.

Elegant!
I've tried several other Quotes apps (who doesn't love a good, daily quote?) and this is my favorite.
Clean, Apple-slick interface, you can "favorite" quotes, a great variety of Authors - including many women and diverse ethnicities (with Wikipedia entries!) and the "Random Quote" button. And it's Universal! And offline!
Room For Improvement:
- The arrows don't seem to work yet (I tried it on both iPhone & iPad.) Also, a "swipe" gesture would be logical and easy…
- I CAN HAZ TUMBLR SUPPORT?! PLEEZ? THEY EVEN HAVE A "QUOTE ENTRY" FORMAT!
- iCloud Sync (though I see it's on your website as "in the works!")
- A daily "notification" of a new random quote would be cool (especially if we could set the time it notifies you.)
