I am interested in using this app but it does not offer iCloud sync between your iOS devices nor does it offer "backup and restore" option as it does for its Android app. The Android version has backup and restore for services like Google Drive and Dropbox.

This app looks pretty and would be most useful if the syncing and/or backup options were implimented into the iOS version. Why should the Android version be better than the iOS version. Favoristism isn't cool. I purchased the app because my friend with Android uses it and I figured they would be equal on both OS.

This app has been very helpful for keeping track of my savings goals. The free version is basically just as good as the full version though. I would not suggest upgrading from the free version to the full version because it's basically pointless. The only difference I recognized was that the very occasional and not really annoying ads went away. It is super frustrating not to be able to sync my accounts across devices because that means that I had to start from scratch when I got a new phone.

I am having trouble with this app. When I add a deposit record and pick 'income', the app will deduct that amount. When I choose 'expense', the app will add the amount. Please fix this issue.

Yesterday when I opened the app it said I was over $130000 in the hole. I can't get it to tell me the correct amount. If this continues, I will find another app.

I bought an iPad Pro the other day. All my apps on my iPhone sync with my iPad but yours. When will you fix this?

Got a newer Iphone and it charged me to download the pro version of the app again after I synced it. This was AFTER it said you will not be charged if you owned the app before

Has replaced my check register... For the most part. Needs to be able to sync between iOS devices and needs to be able to delete single recurring transactions without deleting them all.

There is no need for decimal point in all currencys, and that's a pain

I logged on to say how much I have appreciated this app. It is so easy to use.

Then, I find it has not been updated since 2014 and when I go to the developer page, it is not even listed as being supported.

Don't see a developer contact. Please issue me a refund, I just bought it today. The recurring transactions shows up in the purchase history and it's not supposed to come out until a future date. I thought it would show up the day it's supposed to come out of my account. The other app I used worked that way and it works out best for me.

It is time for an update already. Make this software compatible with iOS 10. I cannot see the notes I am typing for any particular transaction. This makes this feature unusable. Please fix this horrible bug. Apple is going to kick your software to the curb if you don't update like their last sweep.

I like the app but every time I close it and open a couple days later it adds transaction and throws my balance off. Sent email to support but I did not receive any reply. Now I'm looking for another app. This time if they offer a free app I will wait a few months before I buy.

This is my favourite checkbook app of the ones I have found. I use it continually.

I'm updating this app again today regarding my review. It is almost 2017 and I emailed the company years ago and they said they're going to update it to sync with our other technology. Well it still does not sync between my iPad and my iPhone. Apparently the company doesn't care about updating this app. I also double checked their last update and it is still 2014. Have they abandoned this app? I'm going to be on the lookout for another app that works better than this one. There are other ones that do sync. I don't understand the issue.

It shows the last update in version history was in 2014. That is two years of ignoring this app. It still does not sync input from one device to another. My life is on this app and I cannot use my iPad pro because it is empty. Please update so it will sync and it will be a great app. I was told previously they are updating it but have not. Another suggestion is different colors for the icons or even going online to download your own icons or pics. I have this ability with another app for shopping. I do have the pro version that I purchased quite a while ago waiting for updates that are nonexistent. I just emailed the company about this and let's see if they email me back. Better yet if they decide to do some updating. At the moment it deserves 1.5 stars but I don't have the ability to do that.

Can't rearrange accounts. Can't sync with other devices.

I have used this app for a long time. It functions great for my checkbook register. When it comes time for Income Tax, it helps a lot! I can look at categories of expenses on a monthly or yearly basis. The last update was TWO YEARS AGO! This is a plea to please bring up to iOS10 standards and keep this app from going obsolete.

When I move the accounts it won't stay and makes its own organizing of them despite what I do. Please fix this.

This is an excellent app, easy to use, with a lot of nice features. I've tried a few. I think this is the best.

The best checkbook I have found so far. Need someway to turn off auto-clear. Otherwise works great.

Works well for me. Easy to use. Crosses over to computer with Dropbox, One drive, and Verizon cloud. Simple and straight forward.

There needs to be a way to sync the information between devices, please. 5 stars for the ability to sync the information through a user account, iCloud, or even Facebook.

This is a top-flight best one I've ever use keep up the good work. I wish there were more apps out there like this one one that works really well all time.

New iPhone wouldn't restore from backup of old one so with no sync function and an export data function that doesn't (function), I am stuck without a tax record or even a transaction record of all the years I have been using this PAID app. Sure I can go to my banking website and download each individual statement and try to figure out what the actual payments were for, but in some cases it will just be a guess. And I still have to enter all recent data to just reconcile my account.

I like the app in beginning. I paid for Pro version, but after it the app start to make the problems. I still use it, have the lot of information in it. But every day it's more and more difficult to use. The developer doesn't upgrade it since 2014, never fixed it. I wrote feedback, they even answer, promised to improve. Nothing. Now they don't answer. Don't bye the app. You will like it and will be very upset after.

Have had this app for over a year now and love how easy and simple it is to use. However, they NEVER deliver us updates. They really need to allow syncing across devices and even create a desktop app! Update the boring gross yellow/mustard color as well.

Everyday I get a Text from my bank telling me my balance. And everyday (with an old checkbook app) I would compare the text balance to what I had reconciled in my checkbook app so I knew what I had. Checkbook pro doesn't have a place that displays the cleared/reconciled balance. So you have to try and switch back and forth between Checkbook Pro and the calculator to figure out this balance. Its not a problem if you balance you check book once a month. But its not convenient for the person that is always on the go and uses there debit card frequently. I would gladly make a 5 star app and rewrite this review talking about all the great feature if this could be corrected in the next update.

There were many things I liked when I first set up this app. It was easy to create accounts and input transactions. I liked the categories for expenses. But after reconciling for the first time, I've decided to delete this app. My reconciled transactions are gone. Where I don't know as there is no type of user guidance with the app. I cannot find any kind of undo. There's nothing in the settings. Bah!

Pretty good app I use almost daily. There is however one glaring omission....no entry search! If I need to know the last 3 haircuts I put in my checkbook, it is a huge chore. Why...why not make it easy? I see no way to look for entries other than scrolling through every one....very laborious. You'd get 5 stars if you'd fix this. Please.

I sent a message to the owners of the program and received no response. How can you put out a financial package with no printing?

I tried both free and paid and found no accommodations for printing the files, so save your money if this feature is important to you.

No way to delete transactions but OTW ok for home checkbook.

The last time this app was updated was 2014!! I guess it's safe to say they stopped supporting this app!! It would be a great app if I could sync between my iOS devices! Like instead of putting info in my iPhone then have to put in my iPad AGAIN, it would just sync when the phone syncs.

Great app but could use an import feature for when upgrading from free to pro. I like the feature that shows an outstanding balance and overall balance. Do not upgrade to pro from the free app. Apple does not recognize it.

I've use this app for at least three years now, the simplicity is perfect, just a check register plus a few another perks. The flaw is that it does not sync across other iOS devices :(

I use it daily on my phone but when I do my bills I would prefer to be able to use my iPad. It's just too much hassle not to mention leaving room for error to input on two separate apps.

I bought the pro version since I was sick of the ads. It does what it's supposed to do though it would be good if I could set up recurring transactions throughout the month without it automatically showing that it's been attempted.

I had the free version and paid for this version because it had more options and they aren't any other options from the free one. Don't bother paying for it.

How do you reconcile your account?

I have used this app for approximately 3 years due to its ease of use and no bells & whistles I do not need. However I am now searching for another app that will sync across my IPhone, iPad & MacBook Pro. Many other apps do in a similar price range plus more features that I do not need. I see others have contacted the developer regarding the lack of sync capability, as have I. Doesn't look like they are concerned with their customers satisfaction.

I've used many different apps, and this is the best one. It lets you track both checking/savings accounts and credit cards

A good app to keep track of daily expenses and consolidation of bank account. Easy to add the information and also to see where your money is being spent.

I've been using for a long long time, and it works for what I need. My issues are first and foremost that if you delete or change a recurring payment, it deletes or changes ALL occurrences of that payment. THIS IS AWFUL! My car insurances changes by a few dollars every 6 months, and in order to keep it a recurring transaction, I have to sort through every entry and change it. I have just quit using recurring transactions all together and use reminders to add the transactions instead. Might as well not have the feature. I've deleted recurring transactions when I no longer need a service, and have to go through and re-add every transaction.

Would like to be able to choose the order of my accounts, and not have to restart with the purchase of a new phone, but those are minor issues.

The app works beautifully for my needs, but I only need it to keep track of one account and only use it on one device. Putting information in is incredibly easy, and the recurring payments have been added to the account on the schedule I specified. I like that each transaction can be coded by a category but can also be named with something more specific so that you can see more clearly at a glance where the money is coming from and where it's going. I also like that I can back up the information by sending myself the data in a spreadsheet.

Like this app so much so I bought the pro version. My only disappointments are that it did not backup to the cloud, and I apparently neglected to do a backup to my computer so when I bought a new iPad I had to manually start over and enter all my transactions again! I was very disappointed to note that you can only export and not import info. I also cannot find a way to void a check, i.e. I needed to enter a zero amount check that was voided for purposes of direct deposit, and had to enter a penny amount and then enter another transaction backing that penny out. Very cumbersome to have to do that. Otherwise it's a great app.

I LOVE this app!! Thank you so much for having created it lol it has helped me manage my money in such a fun and simple way. I create new ideas of how to keep track of everything by creating different accounts. I love how I can manage my own categories and start fresh if I need to. This is a lot better than Mint in my opinion because it's simpler, and you're in control of your own money- not a computerized data base- so you know where everything is going as long as you maintain it! But I enjoy that part, so it works out for me.

I like the app, it has all of the features I need, with the exception of the ability to share data across multiple devices. I started with the free version and tired of the ads, so I upgraded to the pro version, and was expecting to find additional features, as advertised. If there are any additional features, I haven't found them yet. I've sent four emails to the support page asking for this information and have not received a response. I use this app to replace another one I used to use for keeping my account balances.

The free version was great for a while until it was updated to include pop up ads in it that I always manage to accidentally click on. It became so annoying that I just attempted to buy the app, which I'm sure is the reason they got so annoying.

I clicked on the link in the app to purchase it and it said I didn't have that paid version installed on my phone, then nothing happened. I went to the App Store and purchased it then migrated data and it worked. However the App Store charged me for the same $2.99 purchase twice. I didn't fight it for $3, but that was kind of annoying.

I also wish the total balance weren't so small and hard to see in the debit/credit screen. I would just like it to stand out a little more from the background of the screen so I don't have to click back to see the balance better.

Despite these minor hiccups, all in all this is a good app for maintaining your accounts. I have yet to find a better one in the App Store. I would still recommend it.

A good app that is easy to use, but it needs development. While it is a "family share" app -- meaning that the app itself will download across your apple devices -- it cannot yet sync the information you enter into it across your devices. This is a common feature in other apps, and one I had assumed this app would be able to do. As is, this app serves as an electronic check register for a single device. If you want an app that syncs across all your devices, so that both you and your significant other know exactly how much is in your accounts when you are not with one another, then you will need to look elsewhere.

The three star rating is for the lack of transparency regarding the app not being able to sync information across devices.

I see a lot of complaints regarding the app not syncing with other iOS devices and I, too, hope they come up with an update that will do that. However, it does everything the description says it does. I love that I can see my true balances to all my accounts in one central location and it's available to me as long as I have my phone with me. No more digging for checkbooks! It took me a few tries to figure out how to reconcile, but that could've just been a blonde moment:) I'm very happy with the app and would recommend to others.

This is my goto balance tracking app that has saved me from over drafting. I've tried other apps but their feature set, user interface and ease of use doesn't compare to this application. You have to enter everything manually except for recurring expenses/transactions but your data is accurate as long as you are disciplined.

I just upgraded to the full version today. I don't see much difference with the free version besides ads but I wanted to support the developers after using the free version for about a year.

I've been using it for over a month. Great overall; with one issue that prevents me from giving it 5 stars: The "Recurring option." I schedule about 5 recurring monthly payment deductions on specific days. The past two months I've been using it; it doesn't auto-deduct until later in the evening of that day, or the next day sometime. I noticed this the 1st month I switched to this app. It did it again to me today. In fact, it still hasn't reflected it being deducted from my accounts today. Hope this gets resolved soon.

With the issue of the colors between the cleared and uncleared transactions resolved, this is a five star app. One of the most useful that I have purchased. With the color separation, I can plan a month of transactions at a time in my bill paying checking account with auto pay set up on everything. I can also schedule anticipated costs in my discretionary account. Every morning when I read the news and check my email, I also reconcile this app with my accounts. My debt reduction is now speeding along, and I don't end up with unexpected zero balances.

This update reminds me of the very first version of the app. I like that the ability to change which account a transaction is for.

I have seen the glitch that the reconciled transaction stay shaded grey, but I am confident the developers are working on a fix.

I also enjoy the new "Net Worth" function. That helps a lot.

Finally, I love how it matches the rest of iOS 7/8. It looks great. Good job.

After years of using this app I would be completely devastated if the development team gave up on it. I am thoroughly satisfied with the app and the continued support the team gives it. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

So the new update is awesome!! I love the look and the random crash issues are gone. The new way to reconcile is great. The new ability to change the type of transaction from income to payment etc is great as well.

I think the color of a reconciled transaction definitely need to change so at a quick glance you can see what has been reconciled or not, without being in the reconcile mode. UPDATE: The colors are changed, but scrolling up and down the colors go back and forth randomly. Looks like a bug. Every time I scroll the same transaction does not stay the color it should between the reconciled and non-reconciled colors.

The only other small thing is the autocomplete drop down for the transaction's name is the same color as the background list of transactions and it becomes hard to see where the list stops and the background list begins.

Other then that, everything is awesome with the new update!!

With this app, no need to carry or have a regular old-fashioned checkbook anymore. Very convenient to add entries right after each checkout at a store. Having said that here are some updates that could make this wonderful app more useful.

1. How about integrating with the ApplePay?

2. Have the "search" (the magnifying glass icon) option on the front page where you enter your amounts and store name instead of hiding it under "calendar"?

3. Some how the "cleared" entries (normally colored white) becomes the NOT-cleared in terms of color when you scroll up or down the entries. That is, the cleared entries' color changes to uncleared when scrolling on my iPhone 6 Plus. I need to separate cleared from uncleared. Please fix this.

Good app and I like it but like others have said, this app is crashing on my iphone 6. Nothing is lost...it's just pretty inconvenient as it happens a lot while I'm using it. It doesn't seem to do that on my iPad 2 though. Also...this app needs to sync across devices. I have to input everything on my iPad and then do the same thing on my iPhone so I can have it with me at times I may not have my iPad. Would be nice to just put info in on one device and have it sync to the other. If these 2 things were fixed, this would get 5 stars from me...or even a perfect 10 if I could! :)

Today I upgraded to the Pro because I had been using the free version for years and really liked the graphs and a lot of the info it provided. But I noticed that anytime I have my transactions open (if I'm looking at all transactions) it closes up on me. It has happened multiple times from different screens. I read another user is having the same issue. Please fix this!

Also it would be great to be able to have someone else view and modify the checkbook. My husband forgets to tell me if he bought something so if he had access on his phone it would make things easier.

This is a good product, but it needs so much more. The first major hurtle is that it needs to let you reconcile with your checkbook at the end of the month. The reconcile and clear are the same on here. The second hurtle is that it needs to be synced with my other apple products. My phone and iPhone should be able to use this together. Finally, it needs to be able to sync with other users. This is also a must. My husband and I need to be able to balance the checkbook using our own individual items instead of me having to pass over my iPad every times he needs to do something on the checkbook.

This product is easy and convenient to use and it is a shame that I have to go look elsewhere for something that has what I need.

I truly hope you add these abilities to your app. If you do, I will be back.

This app has helped me get my financial act together. I have the paid version, and I keep all my checking and credit card info on this app.

The drawbacks are minor. The scheduled withdrawals can't be set by time, thus sometimes they come out in the evening when I would prefer them in the morning. The app does not sync between two devices. Also, while you can transfer data out of one device, you can not import it into a second device.

I like the app, I just want a few more features.

Only been using it for a couple of weeks and so far I am liking it. I do agree with other comments in that recurring payments don't always occur on the same date, especially if you get paid, say, on the third Wed. of the month. Haven't had a chance to reconcile yet, but I don't see a "reconcile" button. I am used to using Quicken and when I balance account it brings up the previous ending balance and I enter the ending balance from my statement, plus interest. then take it from there. Other than that, it does everything I need. Would give it a five star but mainly because of reconciling it gets a three.

I have been using this app for over a year and it is great. At first it had a few kinks but it worked itself out. I have used it on my IPad 2 and I have just recently brought a mini IPad (much easier to carry in my purse...lol). I use both, so when I recorded items onto my IPad 2 it did not sync onto my mini IPad. Can someone please tell me what I need to do in order for the toe devices to sync? I really don't want to have to record items twice.....please help.

This app is nice-looking and works well for keeping track of your checkbook. I use it every day and couldn't go without it.

Two improvements that would make this app fantastic:

1. Instead of "Outstanding" and "Balance," it would be much more user-friendly to have "current balance" and "available balance" as you see on most online banking systems. Much easier to think in these terms.

2. Build the "Reconcile" option (for each line item) into the default view. Much easier to reconcile this way. (Had this in a previous checkbook app and loved it.)

I love having it conveniently on my iPhone, always with me. I love how it calculates my balance for me, without error! And I love how it remembers my recurring monthly payments and recurring deposits. (I saw where another reviewer said the recurring deposits don't work automatically like the expenses, but in fact it does! There's nothing dysfunctional about this app. I do wish, however, that it would be easier to click any item cleared or uncleared without having to open and edit each one. Makes balancing a much slower process, esp when I have so many!

I also love how you can easily send a copy of the whole file to yourself or to your spouse or anyone else. I send a copy to my desktop do to open in excel where I can easy resort by payee or by date or by category or by check # so that I can print year end reports for taxes. Saves me oodles of time, and a safe and quick way to backup data.

This app makes balancing my money so much easier than getting the registry out, finding a pen, finding my calculator, and than digging out all of my receipts in my wallet. With this it's on my phone so while I'm waiting for the transaction, I get the details prepped and than once I'm told my total I just put it in this app and it calculates and I'm done! The only thing I would change is for the "cleared" box not to be checked when putting in new entry's. I balance withy online banking every week and if I forget to mark it not cleared when entering it, I double a transaction.

As I've read from others' reviews, I love the app; but the fact that I canon use it on both my iPad and iPhone is an issue.

Listen up developers: your customers have spoken! I purchased the full version because I liked it so much. I couldn't fathom what I'd be receiving with the full version, beyond no ads if I couldn't sync between devices and I was correct. I am happy, though, to support developers with a nice product so they may make improvements.

Please, please, please make it so I may have the app on my iPhone and sync with my iPad--I'd even pay for the iPhone app!

I switched to this checkbook app after using checkbook+ for two years. This app is a vast improvement! The layout is simple and easy to use. The calculator is a great addition when you need to balance other accounts or do some quick calculations. Checkbook+ had a window that popped up when you added transactions, but you could only see 6 at one time. This app allows you to view 12 without an annoying pop up. So far, that math has been perfect. The other app had a glitch that would miscalculate your balance by a cent. This is just a better, more thought out program. I highly recommend it.

I first downloaded Checkbook a few months ago and it did the job, though I had a hard time figuring some of the pieces out.

They must really listen to criticism, because since then they've made remarkable improvements. The format is much clearer, and the functions are easy to understand, as well as being useful.

I keep multiple accounts organized with no problem, and the total gives me a clear picture of my finances.

Great app! My old check book sits, almost unused. I now pay 95% of bills online, any checks written are recorded in notes on the bottom line of Checkbook. Now my wife, and a few co-workers are using it after I bragged about it's simplicity. I juggle several savings accounts with checking on the same page. When I was looking for a checkbook register, I came across this one. I give it five stars, and here is why...

First ⭐... The look is what first caught my eye...

Second ⭐... How easy to customize entries...

Third ⭐... The balance is at the top of the column not the bottom...

Fourth ⭐... Tracks your spending so you see how you spend...

Fifth⭐... Customize reports for income and expense...

After delving into the guts of it, I like how simple the overall ease of use there is. Transactions can be sorted and viewed by a simple touch of the keyboard. I enjoy using this program, and I highly recommend it to Mom's keeping track of household costs, or Dad to track car expenses. This can be used for business as well with the import/export feature. Overall this is a great check register program, and I highly and heartily recommend this to everyone.

After I filled out my last checking account register, I was annoyed that I needed to wait until I could get back to the bank to get another one. That's when I thought, "There has to be an App for that." And voila! There was. I love this app because it allows me to keep track of my transactions and see my balance (as long as your diligent with entering the transactions) without ever having to enter in bank account information.

Such a great and useful app. Keeps me organized and in control of my bank account!

The latest update seems to make the things I originally loved about this app much harder to do. First, the cleared transactions balance is gone. It only displays the total balance and the total amount for the uncleared transactions. Yes, I can do the math and figure out the balance without the cleared transactions, but it was convenient to have that number readily available to compare to what my bank was reporting. Second issue with this update, clearing transactions now requires opening the transaction first whereas you previously needed to tap on a circle. I understand that the new look is more consistent with other apps out there, and it is more aesthetically pleasing. However, at least make this a one step process. Perhaps swiping a transaction to toggle whether its cleared? The aforementioned features had me keep using this app despite not being able to sync across devices (which, in my opinion, would have been a better feature than the others introduced with this update). However, I think it's time to start looking at other options. At least I can still export my transactions.

Update: The latest update (2.6) makes clearing items a little better. It still involves an extra step than previously, but it works better for me. What I can't figure out is what the displayed balance represents. It's different than the total balance, and it's not the cleared balance. I can't seem to figure out what it is.

The new icon is ugly. The old one was nice. I will have to hide it now because I don't put ugly apps on my homepage, I hide them in folders. I will add more about app performance after using it for a while. My last review never changed because the issues weren't resolved.

I was using another app on my iTouch and in preparation to migrate everything to an iPad 3 I found that app was no longer available for download I've only had the app a few hours that I've been inputing data from the previous app as of this writing so I really haven't had much time to spend with all the features. But the requests for review and the desire to STOP SEEING REQUESTS FOR REVIEW made me stop what I was doing and write a review.

It lets me create accounts as advertised.

It lets me put in transactions as advertised.

When I try to transfer funds from account B to Account A the balances change in the register, but the balance in account A remains the same. This is unacceptable so I have to enter them as separate deposits and withdrawals. This function does not perform as advertised.

That's 1/3 of the features that I used so far that failed. I will wait and evaluate the rest and hopefully not see a view request again. Fix the transfer between accounts balances issue and I WILL change my rating and review.

This is my second review for an app in over 4 years. I switched from another checkbook register app for this one. I like this one better! Especially the feature that breaks down the percentages. One complaint - the transfer feature is strange. Needs to be simpler. Also and most importantly, it would be great it there's an option to enter "cash back" amounts when making purchases. To avoid bank fees and the ATM, I usually get cash back when I buy groceries. For accurate budget entries I would like to keep track of my actual cash flow percentages every month.

I HATE check registers and won't fill them out ever since online banking came out. The problem with online banking is remembering the items that haven't cleared yet.

This is so easy! I use it ever day and love it! I really like the reports to see where most of my money goes. It helps me to adjust my budget when needed.

2 things I would say is not great but ok is the search feature and the reconciliation feature. I tried searching for a specific check # and it would pull up that entry. I did find it through another search but it would be nice to search by check# too. Also, the reconciliation doesn't include transfers. It's telling me I'm deficit in one account and showing too much in another. The main screen is always correct but the register part makes it a little confusing.

Basic "checkbook" allowing you to enter starting balance (in multiple accounts) and then keep them updated by adding expenditures and deposits, plus transfers between accounts.

Some issues: When you post an expenditure for a future date (or a recurring transaction) it posts immediately and is deducted immediately from the account total. The default setting for transaction is "Cleared" rather than allowing you to Clear a transaction during Reconciliation.

The worst issue is tech support ... or LACK OF tech support. Emails sent via the App go unanswered. :(

Over all I like this app! There are two down sides to this one in my opinion though. This is why I gave this app only four stars. First of all and the biggest complaint for me is that the app does not sync with my other devices ( IPhone to IPad). If the app would sync with other devices it would make on the go much easier and I could do away with keeping a pile of receipts. The second thing is that the reconcile and available balance at the bottom of the page does not match up. Very confusing! But, as I said in the beginning I do like the app overall and it is worth the $1.99 upgrade to get rid of the annoying ads!

Small business owner, use the app everyday. Easy to use to keep track of the finances needs a few tweaks. I like the reports simple to the point. Also Multiple accounts. Was good enough for me to purchase. Just takes a few minutes every day to update info. Make your own categories that suit your needs for reports. It's worth the purchase. Works well when you need a quick reference on a check r deposit also if you need to make a quick decision on paying a bill etc..

I am extremely happy with free version on my IPAD. Figured I would upgrade to prevent any future issues (transaction limit). So far there is no difference for my use as a checkbook register. Price of full version is reasonably. Agree with previous review color of income and debit are hard to read. App would be 5 stars too me if it would remember reoccurring payees with different charges. An option to change to a register view would help. It's a little confusing at first with balance and expenses at bottom instead of current funds available.

Well, here's what I like: I like that it's a check register and you can kind of keep track of your expenses and balances. Here's what I don't like: for some reason it inserts random check numbers for transactions that don't have check numbers and won't let you edit it out so you can't be sure which one was really the check, it doesn't remember payee names so you have to re- type all your payees completely and doesn't associate certain payees with the same transaction type (I.e. utility payment) which would same time, the recurring transaction is worthless, the transfer from one account to another doesn't change your balance on either account so it's worthless, when you duplicate a transaction to save time on all the typing it inserts "copy" into the payee name (WHY?), it isn't easy to reconcile with your statement. Maybe Money spoiled me, but I want all those features on my iPad! This would be great for a young person who doesn't have a lot of transactions and just needs some basic balancing.

Never maintained a checkbook in my life! This nifty, little app is so easy and intuitive, you would be a fool NOT to want to keep track of your daily expenses.

The only minor bug I've noticed is when entering a note on your expense, the screen would scroll back to the top, preventing you from seeing what you're typing (though you can manual scroll down, but it shouldn't be that way). Other than that, great app!

I've been using the app for awhile and had been entering my own check numbers in the notes section in order to keep track. When I saw the new update had a spot for this I was really excited! However, then I realized the check numbers were added,for some reason, to past transactions continuing back. I will continue to use this app because it works great for what I use it for, but it would be better if that bug could get fixed.

This is a very useful and easy app that doesn't make you do too much work to keep your checkbook in great shape. The developers of the app are responsive also. I made a suggestion about a week after I purchased the app and within a month, they had incorporated my suggestion in an update (though I'm sure I'm not the only one that suggested it). I use this for my personal checking and savings account, but you could certainly add as many different accounts as you wanted. You can even export the data to a .cvs file for importing into Excel or whatever.

I like this checkbook app. It's easy and quick to use when you're out and makes it easy to stay on top of your various balances. I didn't notice much of a difference between the free and pay app. This app would be awesome with a budget feature and ability to log-in or share the same info on multiple devices for those with shared accounts. Also, not sure why once you add a transaction you can't delete or can't make it a recurring entry if you forget while making the initial entry. Otherwise, this has really helped keep me more accountable.

This is my favorite checkbook app. I love the simplicity of it. However, I have no way of getting my data to my iPad from my iPhone without having to manually input all of it. :-(. I can export as a quicken file, but it does not work when importing back into the app. I also thought that maybe it was because I was using the free version so I bought the app but see no difference in the two. Of all the checkbook register apps I like this one the best, but really need a way to sync it to my iPad. I would much rather be able to export from one device and import to the other, as syncing via iCloud is not always an option because I seldom have a true WiFi connection. Once I am finally able to get my info onto all of my devices without having to enter it all manually, I would happily rate this app a 5.

I thought after reading the rave reviews, I'd be impressed, but I'm not. I tried the free version and thought maybe the issues I noted would be resolved with the full version, so I spent the $1.99, but the issues are still there: 1 - Future-dated recurring transactions deduct from balance whether cleared or not, and before the post date. 2 - There does not appear to be a way to delete a transaction once it's been entered (e.g. I couldn't delete all those recurring transactions that were duducting from the balance). 3 - The links to both the Checkbook Support and Blue Tags (developer) sites via the iStore do not work, and a search on the Inernet for Blue Tags or this app does not turn up anything useful (e.g. to figure how to delete a transaction). EDIT: After submitting the review and feedback via the app, the links to support on iStore now work (maybe their site was temporarily down), and I was able to figure out how to delete a transaction: HORIZONTAL SWIPE over the transaction.

I have always struggled keeping my checkbook current. I am a busy college student so keeping up with receipts and a checkbook is usually the last thing on my mind, but this app has changed all of that! This was one of the very first apps I downloaded and probably the app I use the most. I carry my iPad with me everywhere (I'm kind of addicted to it lol) making it easy to keep my checkbook up to date! It's so nice not having to worry about overdrafts because I always know the exact balance of my account. Definitely a "must have" app.

Overall is a good application. I like the "fancy" look that it has.

I would like to be able to save your Transaction names and be able to check them from the main screen instead of going to each transaction an select "clear". I have address those issues before but still haven't seen any updates so for that you got four starts.

Also check numbers are a must in this application!

I would to see credits transactions in green (which I believe you currently have) and deductions in red (a better red).

Payee is not needed. Now what we all need is a Undo button. For example if I enter my Car Loan payment and I want to be deducted every month but by mistake I hit every week then an undo button will be nice so that way I don't have to go back and delete each deduction for the last 5 months lol just a thought though!
