Great, but one issue

I like this game, but it has this issue where I try to make my own levels, but it exits out of the game and says it quit unexpectedly.

It says to send in a report on the app so they can fix the problem, but I've sent it in more than 25 times and it's not working.

Please fix this issue for me.

Fun in chunks

Yes, the puzzle is mostly flipping the pattern around and rotating. (If you get lost, look for which pieces are bigger. They go in the "back.") Don't buy this if you're looking for a challenge. Buy it because watching the images merge and become one thing is awesome every single time. This is about a dozen times more true with your own pics.

The bummer is that the simplicity does get a bit old after a few minutes at a time, but that's ok. There are so many puzzles that you'll have "just a few minutes" many, many times.

After the first few puzzles things become very repetitive. Cool concept but in practice the challenge wears off quickly and the game gets boring fast. Deleted after playing for an hour.

Repetitive?

It's an awesome game! I love it... But, almost every level starts with the puzzle in the same position, so every puzzle in normal mode is a 5 second solve. Also, in Advanced and Pro modes, there needs to be some kind of rule of thumb for ambiguous puzzles that could point in any which way since it doesn't give u a hint. Maybe a rule of thumb as to the direction such puzzles always point?

Addictive, fun game ! Definitely download!!!

I thought this was going to be a short lived game I typically download a bunch of stuff and then work my way through it. I've been hooked on this game since the first time i opened it.

At first it seemed stupid and just plain boring but after the first few puzzles I was absolutely hooked! There are a bunch of different puzzle types to choose from that keeps it from being to repetitive.

An enthusiastic "meh"

I won't say this app isn't unique and cool, it is... It's mindlessly repetitive after the first few minutes. Almost every puzzle takes a half spin to solve, then you turn it upside-down... It got to the point where I just turned it upside-down first, then jiggled it around a little. Bam, done.

I think this app's potential is really meant for YOU, the custom puzzle maker. That's where I saw the most originality, and for that, it IS pretty cool!

In the end, it's free, no complaints.

Simply and elegantly awesome!

In love with this game! I couldn't figure out what to do at first but after watching the tutorial which was pretty quick, I understood what to do. I am addicted. It's like a digital jigsaw puzzle but the pieces are already on the board in 3 dimensions and you have to move it around the 3 dimensions until all the pieces fit together. Such a BRILLIANT idea for a game. Stimulating the mind but not overly complicated so it keeps you interested and motivated at the same time. You don't have to be a nerd to play a mind game here. It's a visual game, I'm a very visually oriented student so I love it.

Amazing!

I love being able to take my own photo and then put it together.

I wish there were better instructions. Simple enough to figure out how to do it but I'm having trouble finding how to save it and download it. Also it changed from blue to b&w at one point but there was no reason why and I didn't see any options how to manually change it back. A bit disappointing to find out how limited it is before you are asked to pay.

All in all, this is a wondrously fun thing and I highly recommend it and I don't mind paying. I just wish it was more clear in the details and even more so as far as instructions. The tutorial is lacking.

Nice Music, Great Casual Game

The music is really nice, and adds a atmosphere of nostalgia or serenity while you're rotating the blueprints trying to figure out what the object is. The game is very casual and what I mean by this is it's really easy. For those if you looking for a challenging puzzle game, this isn't it. However, it is a great game for passing time or when you want to play games not for the challenge, but well, for fun. I have yet to try out the level editor, but everything else looks promising. :)

I'm finding this game to be both challenging and lots of fun. It's great to see the picture suddenly appear, and I could see the replay value in trying to complete the puzzles fast enough to get full stars. I'm looking forward to trying the more difficult settings in the future. This game is worth getting if you like visual puzzles.

Unique and Original

I love puzzle games, and I've never quite played something like this before. The learning curve is quite quick and before you know it, you can glance for a second and know right away how to twist the random lines around to unscramble the blueprint. That is, until the difficulty ramps up with each level. I played until my battery ran out, it was about half full when I downloaded it. I have not tried creating my own puzzle yet, but if it's as intuitive as the gameplay, I'm sure it will be fun as well. Five stars!

Waaay too simple, but a good idea

Alright, I'm about to crush all of your dreams. TO SOLVE EVERY PUZZLE (even "advanced" and "pro") just flip the image you're given and it will line up. I'll say it again, just do a 180 degree turn in one direction and the image will line up. Then just rotate until it's oriented to the top. Even with the dual layers: flip the first, rotate, flip the second, rotate. Done.

It's a great idea, but too simple. Definitely one of the best looking games out there, but not challenging at all. I was very excited to play this because it looked so good, but it took all of a minute to figure out how to beat it. I gave it an extra star for being a good looking game.

Puzzles To A New Level

This game is actually a mind thumper. One second you think you know what it is, the next it's upside down, backwards, and not what you'd expect at all. To be successful in this game, you seriously have to look at any and every angle in order to see the bigger picture. A great buy for anyone who loves optical illusions or optical puzzles!

Addictive, new concept

I have never seen this type of game before. Very addictive. After doing one quick blueprint you want to do another and another and another. Before you know it you've done a whole batch. Game play is simple to understand, quick for pick up. I find this highly easy to do a few prints before heading into work or to eat with friends. Three lvls of play cover everyones desire of difficulty. Easy To sort threw menu, pleasing graphics, just the right amount of sound. Love this game.

Addicting...but....

Have almost finish all pro level puzzles so it must be compelling but the tabs are driving me CRAZY. I can't tell you how many times I finished a puzzle and by accident hit re-do and had to start again! The bottom strip is also too high and sits ON PUZZLE so that you cannot see to align sections. The alignment is also so tight that looking at a finished image I spend 10 MINUTES fussing to get picture aligned JUST RIGHT ... not realistic expectation.

Top notch app!

Engaging and a lot of fun. 3D puzzles that utilize spacial reasoning. If you solve the puzzles within a certain timeframe, they can be repeated with option of increasing difficulty (hardest level being really hard :-) ) Music has a zen quality to it, and I find that it enhances the experience. Really hope they will do an update with more subjects.

I got this game because everyone in the reviews said it was a great game. And I guess they were right because they are all 5 years old. I would not recommend this game to anyone who has an iq of 10 or above. All that you do in this game is rotate a broken blueprint until it looks like the real blueprint. But every single puzzle pattern is the exact same, so only someone with no brain would be confused when they move from one puzzle to the next. I beat each level in 3-4 seconds. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This is amazing. My words can't even describe it. It's so addicting. I hope there are a lot more updates coming. Please make a sequel or continue making amazing games. UNBELIVABLE

I read the reviews like I always do before I buy an app. Every review I read was 5 stars so I thought it would be good. As soon as I started playing the tutorial pack I was really confused but slowly started to get it. I've played for a few minutes and I'm so addicted. Im so glad I bought it and hope they make more levels( not that 300 isn't enough ). Buy this if you like puzzles. Innovative

new and creative concept of the game, soothing background musics as well as very smooth animation and vivid graphics are almost enough to rate it 5 stars. three game modes with different difficulty levels change the gameplay significantly. while the normal mode is easy enough to learn the game, the pro mode is perfect for those seeking a more challenging play.

the new level pack selection menu looks better now. i've not finished previous level packs yet and a whole new pack is added. thanks!

I can't understand how I was living before I found about this game. I installed it as one of a bunch of free games that I installed and forgot about. Until the day came when a friend held my phone and played it, then showed it to me. I didn't leave my phone since then :D

Simple but Fun

It's kind of mindless, but in a good way. There isn't a whole of challenge once you get the hang of how to manipulate the drawings. However, it doesn't feel like a game that needs to be challenging. It's more like a Sudoku puzzle. Eventually you're just filling in blanks mindlessly, but sometimes that's exactly what you need at the end of a long day.

Also, the effect of the seemingly random lines and scribbles coming together when you rotate them just right actually is very impressive. You have to see in action to understand just how neat it really is.

My new addiction

I've seen this game in the app store for a while but never have it a second look until I read about it on App Spy. It's a fun game that also makes you think on your feet. The controls are great. I like that I can customize rotation speed, if I spun the puzzle too fast I'd never be able to get the positioning just right and the three stars would elude me. I like that the graphics aren't super flashy and the puzzles look just like architect drawings, they are simple yet beautiful. This game is the much needed change from Angry Birds that I've been looking for.

I love this game alot. There are so many blueprint games in this. I beat it in one day but the great side of it is you can change how hard it is. So once you beat it in normal give yourself a challenge and upgrade it to a harder level. This is one app that should cost money. I cant wait until they have more blueprints availiable.

Great game

If this were 99 cents I would still buy it! I love it so much and I love how many levels there are and it's really creative and fun and plainly just simple. All you really have to do is get the blueprint into different things depending on the category and it is so addicting I cannot wait for more levels.

Learning how to visualize

I'm in school studying to be an engineer, and this is really helping me learn how to visualize complex structures properly. Plus, the trivia facts you learn in this app are awesome- I never knew what a cupola was before playing this game. :) As with any other type of learning, learning about different types of architecture opens your mind to the world around you. You'll start to see different parts of buildings and learn the names of famous ones with this app.

Wonderful and Innovative

This is one of the few games on the iPhone that not only has great and intuitive controls the entire system could not be used on anything without a touchscreen. It is one of the only puzzle games that doesn't get boring really quickly, it requires an understanding of 3D space and precision.

Almost the best!

Almost as good a I thought It was gonna be. Fantastic interface and great visual aesthetics. It's probably gonna last longer than most apps on my phone, mostly because it never gets old when you turn a model, and you see what it is it almost startles you how detailed and attractive the blue prints are. But still, not the most interactive, I don't exactly feel accomplished after spending 30 minutes turning pictures.

1. Wish if u can wear a 3D glass and see the puzzle in 3D:)

2. I know it is difficult, but I wish if there is "create ur puzzle" option where u could upload ur pic and make it like these puzzles or even better, draw a puzzle by your self and challenge ur friends to finish it...

Better than I thought.

The quality and polish of Blueprint 3D is amazing - you can see some of it in the screenshots, but you have to play it to understand. I can tell that a lot of work went into making it - lots of smooth animation and high-res images. In the tutorial, you think it'll be a tough game (on Normal), but once you get into the categories, you know what shapes to expect and it becomes a bit easier. I typically don't like puzzle games but this is really fun. I got it for free today, but it's worth at least a few bucks - tons of levels with incredible detail - I'm not sure if this is included but I'd love to see some sort of encyclopedia for all the objects in the blueprints.

Awesome

If you like 3D puzzles then you'll love this game. Not stressful, but it's not too easy. There are a lot of levels and if you only have time to do maybe one or two levels a day, then you won't get bored with it. For the people who will buy the app and play level after level, then you might be able to finish the game in an hour. But there are extra filters you can put on levels to make them more challenging, which makes the game more "replayable"

Fun and relaxing game, a little simple

The game is fun and very relaxing. Beautiful graphics and well designed UI, better than a lot of the overly analogous stuff apple puts out with their software these days.

I did find it a little too easy for the most part as any puzzle can be solved given adequate time, rather than mental energy. The times star rating system is not a solution for this, but is rather a symptom of this flaw with the basic design.

As someone who is used to working with 3D objects I would appreciate a pinch to zoom out (scaling in 2D, rather than moving a camera back

in 3D [perspective not

isometric] to not mess up the forced perspective trick... I think this should be possible.)

Excellent 3D puzzle

This is very clever. Just move the screen in all 3 dimensions to get the blue print to full view. Not always so easy to do. Only downside is each puzzle is pretty much the same and if you don't get the picture early it gets hard to finish in 10 seconds. I my view the interface is the best of any of this genre.

Awesome!

For $.99 this is quite a steal. I love this game so much! It offers huge replay value and there's just so much to do. At first I was a little skeptic about the game, because I am not a puzzle game fan whatsoever, but I read the reviews and I thought, well what the heck? And it turned out to be a wise decision. This game offers crisp, refreshing graphics that are fully Retina supported, a wonderfully original soundtrack, and tons of achievements! Don't miss out on this game!

An interesting concept

I was at first intrigued by the manipulation of 2D objects in a 3D space. Though that interest only holds for the first dozen levels before you realize how limited the space can actually be manipulated. It only takes a few levels before you realize the pattern and start blowing through stages. Most levels are cleared in 5-7 seconds, and I'm sure the entire game could easily be finished in half an hour, though I grew bored far before that. Definitely a great idea, it just doesn't make for a great game.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked this BUT I very much enjoy it now! It took me a while to get the hang of it, & now it's almost too easy! I hope in future updates they will allow us to save completed blueprints and use them as wallpapers and I hope they add more such as classic cars, maybe a Thomas Eddison theme pack and sports stadiums!!

BUT... u should come out with an update that completely randomizes the puzzle because on every single puzzle it always starts in the back so all u gotta do is turn it around and solve it... other than that fantastic game and i love it. fantabulous job.

(btw great job wuth deciding how to do the blueprints... like it doesnt show the layout or anything so terrorists cant just buy this and know the entire building...

nothing new

I was expecting something i never experienced before but it turns out that this is the same thing as Pictorial and Lost Pixels. If you have those apps, you should think about how you feel about those before you buy this, but it does seem to have plenty of levels. I was thinking you had to much more challenging things, such as creative drawing but when i completed the first level iwas deflated. But if you've never tried those i apps i mention then it may be worth it

Am I missing something here?

I feel like I must be missing something here. Based on these rave reviews, I feel like I'm missing out on some major gameplay component. I must be confused. There are no instructions and the tutorial is not in the least bit explanatory. I feel dumb. Anyone else get this game? Do you really just spin the blueprint around until you get it right? How do you know that you solved the puzzle? On the "question mark" tutorial it seemed completely arbitrary when it it ended the puzzle and declared me victorious. Right now I think this game blows. I hope I don't eat my words, but as it stand now I think it's awful. Base your opinion on other reviews. Perhaps other gamers see something that I am missing. Developers, you still get one star for having a terrible tutorial and no directions, explanation, objective. Don't make people guess how to play. There are idiots out there like me! Thanks.

Boring, repetitive, easy, boring, repetitive, easy, boring, repetitive, easy.

I agree with the review that says its boring and repetitive. There are so many positive reviews that I immediately bought it only to be disappointed after releasing nothing changes as you progress. I thought it would get harder but it's the same mindless task. 95% of the time you solve the puzzle by simply rotating the image 180 degrees in the transverse plane.

Think twice before buying, I've best half the game and am already bored of it. Even if they added new levels I wouldn't care to play them.

Repetitive, a little fun at first

Started off really fun and a bit challenging. Then I started to catch on that all the levels are "scrambled" in roughly the same way. After that the game became too easy and the most exciting thing about it was just seeing what objects the creators thought of including in the game.

The overall design of the game is great though. The game has plenty of potential and if it were not for the obvious pattern of how all the levels are "scrambled", I would have given it 5 stars.

I am a computer information systems major used to be a engineering major and this app is a game changer only great products can bring out ideas to make great apps I wish Steve jobs was here to see how far one product came this app is very fun educational and by the way the music is niceeee lol keep the influential beats coming and updates please lol

Simply Amazing

Gosh I don't even know what to say! This app is the most amazing app I've ever seen! Retina display is absolutely amazing and crisp on the iOS 5 devices! If u want a puzzle game I would absolutely recommend this game. This gameplay is great, handfuls of levels, and the price is great! Only 99 cents so 5 stars for this game. The best app I have ever played. This game should be 1st place in the app store! Buy it, you won't regret it!

Unique concept but extremely easy!

This is a beautifully styled game built around a unique gameplay concept. Unfortunately, the puzzles are extremely easy and don't get any harder as you progress through the game. There about 240 puzzles but every one of them was solvable in under 10 seconds... The whole game takes about 30 minutes to beat and the method of solving is exactly the same for every puzzle. Would have given two stars but the interface is highly polished and the blueprints are nice to look at. Somebody put a lot of effort into making this game look amazing! Too bad they couldn't think of a way to make the gameplay more challenging :-(

Entertaining, not very difficult

Lots of short puzzles. Very entertaining. But not very difficult. I solved most within 10 seconds. Most can be solved simply by flipping them from front to back.

It could be made more challenging if there were pieces that did not contribute to the final picture. These elements would end up being simply lines on the solution. (Hard to explain in text in a short review.)

Not super challenging, but enjoyable

It's not as challenging as I thought it'd be. You simply rotate around a bit until al the "puzzle pieces" line up. After you get the hang of it, each level is just a matter of time until you rotate correctly… usually not long at all.

It is visually pleasing to look at, and somewhat relaxing. I wish there was an option to turn the timer off, so I could just kind of zone out more and enjoy a leisurely game. Another thing that might have taken the game to the next level is the option to tilt your device to rotate the puzzle. That'd probably make the game more challenging, as well.

By far the best "Game" I've ever played

I know. I know. Another 5 star review. When I look at ratings I always look for the comments of the NOT 5 stars but this app really deserves it! It reminds me a lot of the app game Bound only not as frustrating and you can get help if you need it. The game is PERFECTLY suited for the iPhone/iPad. Easy to play. Very challenging too! Great job dev!
