Description

Memorize scripture verses and review previously added verses. Previously added verses are automatically scheduled for review (see review schedule below).
Currently Available to memorize:
-Custom Text

-The Family: A Proclamation to the World

-LDS Doctrinal Mastery
-LDS Scripture Mastery

As you memorize, view verse text as:
-Full verse
-First letter only
-Consonants only
-Hide x number of words (slider)
-Test your memory word by word
Verses are scheduled for review:
-Each day for the 1st week
-Once a week for the 1st month
-Once a month for a year
-Annually
*Independent Pause Scheduler pauses the schedule on days when you don't use the app

What's New in Version 2.1

Scheduler pauses when you miss days! Go into settings to turn it on.
-Independent scheduler only advances verses on days you use the app (following the same schedule).
-Reset all verses to 0 days in Settings (Pause mode only)
-Reset individual verses to 0 days by going to All Studied Verses (Pause mode only)

Powerful memorization tool

I enjoy scripture power! I got the original version and it was great. However, the latest update have made this app powerful by providing different ways of memorizing scriptures and even your own text. Thanks again to the developer!

Excellent!

I love this app for myself and have now introduced to my son. He gets overwhelmed at memorizing scriptures and this has made it fun for him. The different options to help you memorize are great. Love that the update includes proclamations.

Very Pleased

I rarely write reviews but decided to for this great app. Happy to pay but was free so far. Better than all other scripture memorization apps I have tried over the years. Simple to use but powerful.

Great App but Crashes

App crashes only when certain verses are selected. If that was fixed, then app would be four stars.

Wonderful app

This is by far the best app for memorizing, and with this new update it really gets everything that is useful for memorizing, it's amazing!!!

Well thought out and executed app

I was pleasantly surprised with the functionality of this app. I have been looking for an app which helps memorize verses you can select according to Elder Featherstone's method for memorization for some time. This is the best app I've found for helping users to do record and review their favorite verses for memorization.

Good app not shareable with family on same account.

I really like the app. But it's a joke and the first app I have run into that my kids can't install on there devices. I have to purchase for each one of them. It does not allow sharing on a family account. I like it, not that much.

This app is amazing

I have the worst short term memory, especially when it comes to memorization but with this app, I was able to unlock incredible memorization. I recommend it to all.
I do, however, have a suggestion for developers- any chance you might want to add the Articles of Faith? It would be really helpful for us converts that didn't learn the songs in primary!

Great memorization app

This is a great app. I love memorizing scriptures, and this helps a lot. I would love to see some things added though like hymns and primary songs, the Young Women and Relief Society themes, and the possibility to put in your own text if there's a conference quote or something you want to memorize.

No better app for memorizing scriptures

The app is simply amazing and amazingly simple. If you follow Elder Featherstone's bullet proof method for memorizing scriptures, this app will be your life saver. I used to use index cards and this totally eliminates that. Best dollar you'll ever spend.

Best $1 investment I've made

I rarely spend money on apps and this is the first I have ever reviewed. Simply stated this is the best $1 investment I have ever made. This resource is phenomenal, and I only wish I found it years ago when I was doing the same thing by hand.

Good idea, poor user interface!

I found a few problems with the proclamation first letters memorization. Needs to improve editing and user interface.

Best LDS memorizing app

This is the best memorizing app for LDS scriptures. It follows Elder Featherstones pattern of memorizing that I learned on my mission. I love using it. My wife and I memorize a verse a day. It is easy to add verses to memorize. Way to go. I have been looking for an app like this for some time. Great job!!!!

Best app out there

This is great app for memorizing scripture. I love that you can choose any scripture from any book without having to type it in yourself, and that you also have official church recommended lists available. I also love the word/letter removal options.

Simple and remarkably effective

If you want to memorize and retain LDS scriptures, give this app a try. The core functionality is excellent, especially the model of decreasing review frequency over time. I don't use the leaderboard and other stats, but they don't bother me either. Good work, developer.

Best way to memorize scriptures

I've tried doing this system with 3x5 cards before but I never made it more than a few days. It's a pain to write the scripture down and carry it around, not to mention keeping track of past scriptures you've memorized. This app takes care of everything for you so it's quick and easy to pick a verse and review all the scriptures you've memorized.

Love this app!

My daughters and I have been enjoying choosing different scriptures to memorize. I love not being limited to scripture mastery. I would love to see the Living Christ and the Proclamation to the family on there with a way to work on it as a long term project.

Memorization review cycle is excellent

This is the best way to memorize and keep what you've memorized--reviewing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly like this app facilitates. ALL memorization apps need this feature!
Would be the best memorization app period if you could add your own passages. Please--if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things!

Solid but needs better graphics

This app is the best app I've been able to find for memorizing scriptures of my choice. I have downloaded and tried many. It has various options that are very helpful for a learner. The developer is responsive and pushes the envelope with innovation.
I believe this app would be taken much more seriously if the graphics were cleaner. The app icon needs some work. Try using icons rather than words.
Having said that I still keep coming back to this app.

It seems like an awesome app, but when I try to memorize any of the articles of faith it instantly crashes on me.

Memorize any scripture!

This is the only app that I'm aware of that allows you to choose any scripture in the four standard works. The game allows you to drop words, first letters, or consonants to help you memorize. Perfect!

It's a steal!! Far more valuable than its cost

The most important part of memorization is repetition. This app handles the hardest part for you! You are prompted to repeat/recite scriptures daily. It enforces the words in your head. This app has the potential to be the most important memorizing app on the market. No other app I've seen forces the necessary repetition. My hat is off to Tyler and anyone else on Trylo's dev team. This is worth far more than the 99¢ you will spend on it. It's a steal.

Great tool for scripture memorization

This app is great! It's smooth, intuitive, and works... just what users expect from any piece of software. My favorite features are the stat tracker and the review function to go back to past scriptures.
