Poor app, do not use

Very frustrating app since it does not do what is is supposed to do. Can’t check in, can’t obtain seat assignments. Even Iberia support couldn’t get it to work. Informs you data is missing, yet the info is in the proper field. Save your time, energy and sanity, do not download.

Clunky and unresponsive

From button feel to how one enters data, to the databases that supposedly support the app, mediocrity prevails. It’s hit-or-miss (and usually a miss).

Terrible app

This app barely works. In an age when smartphones are so dependent having this app is useless. It ask for my information but it won’t accept it or worse it spins when I click or country or state. I rather fly on another airline just to avoid this app.

I downloaded the app. Had everything ready to go and was denied access through security in Boston. I had to get Back in line at Check-In and then go through security line again!!! Worst app!!!!!!!!! Thank you for wasting 2 hours of my life and making me almost miss my flight.

Awful app, their website is just as bad

Today is the 3rd day in a row that I can not “manage your booking” on their website. I have tried every 30 minutes except my sleep time on their website to change my return flight. So figured this app would help. No, there’s no place to take me to managing my booking on this app. I’ve called them 4 times, my son has called numerous times and all they tell me to do is to write a complaint re website problems they’ve had for 3 full days now. Well that won’t help me now!

I’ll be deleting this app, and never fly Iberia ever again.

Oh I should mention they do have a place to change flights under “manage your booking” on website but it’s been down for 3 days, so then you call them and they want to charge additional 25.00 for getting phone help, what? because their site isn’t working I’m supposed to be charged? Ridiculous.

Not So Good

Tried to check a flight status - interface was very balky. First it wouldn’t let me enter a destination. The it wouldn’t accept the airport code FCO it wanted to use ROM (Rome) instead, then flipped itself to FCO and gave me no mid flight info except that it was On Time. Pretty colors, but not up to standards.

Can’t get the boarding pass

I have booked my flights & checked in but my board passes are not on the app. It can’t even find my booking. This app is pretty bad.

It's worthless!

The app is poorly designed and does not translate well. Also, the app doesn't work well overall. I also shouldn't forget to mention. That if you have a departure from MAD. You will most likely be delayed a few hours if not days. I strongly suggest staying with an American provider, or a country that has a mindset set with organizational skills.

Trying to check flight info. Get constant error messages when trying to log in with Plus number and p/w or as guest. Just taking up memory. I hope that my pilot knows how to fly the plane!

Booking management broken

Good luck managing any bookings you have from the app. Errors out any time I try to enter a booking to view info.

Not for booking flights

For Whatever you do use this app, it won't be for booking flights. The calendar where you choose dates is off (day of the week doesn't match the date of the month for that year), then you realize that it's labeled a month behind incorrectly (July is actually August etc). Then when it shows you the flight options and you click drop down to see detail (like lay over times etc) it only shows you the fare level option and after you chose, it jumps to the return date flight options.

The only good thing about the app is that it lets you add the Iberia card info to your passbook on iPhone.

Terrible

Tried checking into my flight, but my airport didn't exist. I try another link to manage it, it asks what day my flight leaves and shows me a calendar. It's a completely wrong calendar. Basically nothing in this app works or is helpful at all. I'm actually really worried about whether or not I will make it on the plane let alone my destination.

No matter what dates I chose, the Iberia app keeps defaulting to travel from January 29 thru January 30, 2017.

Full of bugs. Can't even book the right dates

Tried to book a trip from May to June but every time I entered a May date I got a June date and every time I entered a June date I got a July date. I wasn't comfortable booking a non refundable flight that way.

Unprofessional- Waste of life

Every second time you try to login, you need to reset your password. That's if the app opens at all.

Booking on the app is even worse, drops you off at the end, when you try to pay and leaves you in a very high airfare, just to loose a lot of money on their "errors" what a coincidence!

I would never recommend either the app or company Iberia.

Worst app!

Don't try figuring out making changes to your flight. I tried seeing how much an upgrade was, out of curiosity, and although it said you can cancel it at the end of the process...you can't!! You go through the process entering your information and it then charges your car. No way of removing the upgrade. Then there's the frustration added from waiting for the app to "reach the server" and other server error messages

It's not compatible with bigger screens. The layout is not good and I can't get any useful information from the app, it crashes a lot. Smaller Airlines have much better apps than this one.

Awful!!

This app is awful: I can't download passbooks, the navigation is very slow and is not optimized for the iPhone 6 screen! Other airlines are miles ahead with their apps.

Not very useful & adds little value

This is a bizarre app. Visually it is appealing, looking simple and useful however actually paying attention to it you realize that it is all fluff. I dont really see what value this app adds at all.

Rather than a summary of your accout or upcoming flights as one might expect, the main page is a non-useful menu of odd options. The passbook doesnt consistantly load (mine never, although others comment that it has worked), the app is full of links to Iberia's other apps making this more of an advert and redirection portal more than anything else.

Although this app is better than the last Iberia attempt, it is still basically useless, providing no added value and I expect to remove it shortly.

So, a company with airfares starting from 39€ has a better App than this one. As stated by others: no option to enter Passport’s expiration day (only month & year); no Passbook/Wallet, so no digital boarding pass (why do I want this App for again?); Frequent Flyer membership takes only numeric characters, and mine is alphanumeric (this happens also on their website to be fair); and iPhone 4S screen, not optimized for larger screens (how do we rate it -5?).

Wouldn't work

Wouldn't select or accept the airport when trying to search for flight to check in. I wanted to check in ahead because I was going to an airport where I don't speak the language, but the app wouldn't let me check in.

Bad service

I've tried to get seating on a flight going from Miami to London yet the representative informed me he couldn't do anything for my request. My request was of a seat by the window because of stomach problems. I also requested that the seat couldn't be near the wing of the plane since I'd just had a heart implant and the noise from the motors located on the wings made my chest vibrate. Even after calling the Iberia airline twice the refused to help me with my needs. The two times I called I was placed on hold after explains my medical situation and also of my mom who's 85 yr old. I would not recommend this airline.

Works ok. When you choose the day it goes the previous day. So you have to pick the next day of what you actually want.

Also not optimized for iPhone 6 normal view so my eyes hurt looking at the monster font.

6 apps instead of 1??? No, Gracias?

I have downloaded about a dozen different airline's apps onto my iPhone. Imagine they all followed Iberia's lead: That would expand from 12 to over 70 applications cluttering the screen's limited real estate!

This latest update was an unbelievably insensitive idea, one that fails to take into account how real folks use their iPhones.

Sorry, Iberia, but instead of expanding from 1 Iberia app to 6, I have gone from 1 Iberia app to 0.

Absolutely TERRIBLE

It's slow, it crashes, takes multiple attempts to check-in and then you can not get the mobile boarding pass to add or show up in the app or in Passbook.

Also, now has a 2 notification badge, but when I open it I have no idea what the notification is for.

Worthless

Absolutely worthless. Simply put, nothing works. Didn't they test this app themselves? It just either crashes all the time or gives error messages for every single thing you try to do. Awful app.

Mobile app changed my seats

So far, being able to get an electronic boarding pass seems convenient. Will see how much so when we get to the airport. Upset that my return flight seats were changed after a flurry of errors when attempting to check-in. Appears that my companion and I have lost our seats together, and I won't pay $1/min. on my cell to get help.

A waste of time. Always getting error displays. When you are finally able to sign in you can not access the information you want and need, flight details, etc. Not worth the effort to use.

Nice start for Iberia's first mobile app!

The app is very good overall. You can do pretty much anything that's on the website but in a more organized and cohesive manner. It's still a diamond in the rough(the overall look and the load speeds throughout need polishing) but otherwise a must have app for all Iberia Plus members (and non-members hoping to fly with them soon)! Hope to test the Auto check-in feature in a couple of weeks. If it works like a charm, I'll definitively give it the last star!
