I've had this app with the Pro upgrade for 3 years. I used to be able to access all kinds of displays such as velocity, precipitation type, echo tops.

Now all I get is basic reflectivity even though I've paid for everything else. I have contacted the company via email with no replies. DO NOT USE THIS APP IT IS A RIP OFF!!!

Please add more Doplar radar options such as velocity maps and what not other than that simple and easy

Working in the weather industry, I use to be a big fan of this app. However over the last several days when doing a loop on the reflectivity, it loops random images from the past, usually 14 hours in the past and then jumps to the latest image. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. I wouldn't be complaining except for the fact that when I went to their website, it took me to a web developer page. Not sure if this app is still supported, big disappointment!

Used this for work every day for the last 2 years until about 2 weeks ago when the radar in motion quit working properly. Sent 2 emails to tech support with NO response.

Great app, could use some tweaks like, useing an ipad it would be great if it could be used in landscape mode.

Lately the animation mode has been choppy, missing frames. Looking for another radar app...will uninstall soon if not fixed...

I was looking for a radar app to prepare for Florida storms. For $4.99, this app is worth about $.50. If you are looking for a good app, keep looking. I would not recommend this one.

I find the radar updates to be to slow or infrequent to be of much use. Often precip arrives long before the radar notes the location. This app would be much improved if radar sweeps were updated every two minutes at a minimum. Would not recommend this app.

One of the best radar apps that I've used. The features I like that storm warnings are highlighted on the map. One other thing that would great if they show storm watch area. Other than that great app.

RadarScope is similar and better in my opinion. This app is fine and does the job, just not quite as good.

I had to give it one star. This app is AWFUL. I've seen better graphics from a two year old. Do not waste your money. I wish I could get mine back.

This app is cool because you get raw data that is updated ever two minutes, much faster updates than my other fav, NOAA Radarcast, which can take up to 10 minutes between updates - no good in a storm. But, that's about it. It's very simple, too simple I'd say, and some functions just plain fail. I can't get my current location to pop up, just doesn't work. Also, you can only see county lines and highways (no labels either, you have to know the area to guess which blue line is which highway), no street names, etc. to really be able to pinpoint locations. Finally, I wish there was an option to have all radar locations display at once. You can only view one area at a time, crappy!! Also, I accidentally added a location to favorites and when I try to remove it, it won't go away. Bottom line, the raw data is cool but the the app is kind of cheap Surprising cuz it cost $5, I don't think it's worth it. Also, there are no instructions for anything, and emailing support gets no response.

Not useful. Wish I could get money back. You can't see current weather conditions for the entire country. I wanted that view to see what weather was heading my way and how it was tracking. Just a waste of money.

Great app. Am a storm spotter and i can get radar wherever i am.

This is a nice app with a number of tools that can used for your specific viewing pleasure. The only issue I have is the limitation to only view the screen in portrait mode.

Bottom line I have most of the radar/weather apps. Simply I review and analyze most of them. This app is one of the better ones. I use it extensively when weather is an issue. You can buy this one with confidence.

This app has not been kept updated. Marginal at best. Support is non existent. There are many other Weather Radar apps that are far superior. Consider RadarScope, RadarCast, Hi-Def Radar and Radar US to name a few. Spend your hard earned cash where it is better served.

This app works just the way it is suppose to. It could give more options on the county's available. Other than that very pleased.

Tile windows don't open fully. Starts so expanded you can't see anything. Blurry. Go for the Radar Scope $9.99 it's in HD and much cleaner. you get what you pay for!

Also wont accept where I am. Only allows me two choices for locations and neither is accurate.

Love this app! We use it all the time, but especially when we are traveling out of our area to find out about storms that we might be heading into or to avoid them.

This is the quickest way to bring up weather radar I've found so far, and it also has the most up-to-date radar picture. While other weather apps are showing you the radar picture from 5-10 minutes ago, RadarPro is usually showing you something less than a minute old. This makes a big difference when you're watching a fast-moving storm. I personally like the raw/un-smoothed radar images it shows, though other people I've shown it to tend to prefer the filtered/smoothed images you see elsewhere

Should add landscape option.

Extremely disappointing. While the aw radar data are there, it is annoying to find them and difficult to make serious use of them. Radar Pro is only marginally iPad compliant. Very frustrating to navigate. Insulting to the user.

I've used this App for over a year now. I bought it to see radar information for my home area not national or global data. It does exactly that. It shows storm tracks and intensity information in real time that can be updated at the users discretion. I give it five stars because it does what it says. The developer is also responsive to inquires and suggestions.

We used to dodge storms on the way to Oshkosh from Seattle. So long as we were over the inter state we could usually get up dates at 8 ,000'.

I like the simple design. I don't want to navigate menus, or watch videos of weather reports. I just want to see Radar now. Perfect.

This site is the quickest radar iv seen. I have seven other sites on my phone and this is the only one i always go to first. And if i do decide to check another site they are not as good as this one. Way to go guys . Five stars

I use radar pro several times a day, especially when I am travelling. I like to keep watch when storms are approaching. It never lets me down.

This app works well for viewing incoming storms and allows you to zoom in fairly close to where you live. Wish it could alert you when a watch or warning is issued but at least it does show a warning/watch box on the radar map.

Very accurate and reliable. The resolution is great, and it shows severe weather warnings in graphical and text format. I've tried several radar apps, and this one is the best.

I live in Indiana and with some of the storms that come through, this app has helped a lot! I know before the storm gets here when the worst part will get here! I love that I have an idea now how long the storm will last! No more waiting for the meteorologist to flip the stupid radar to my area! Love the updates, too

I have found the weather radar to be very informational. The one suggestion I have is that there be some tutorial information on how to analyze the radar information. Otherwise I have it to be very useful.

Super user friendly interface and features that take advantage off the full capabilities of OS software make Radar Pro a winner. I use it multiple times a day to stay on top of weather in 3 locations. Invaluable for my job.

Most of my travels are on two wheels this app keeps me informed of where the worst weather is. I can get ahead of it or wait it out. I have found it very reliable and accurate a couple times it was stuck and not updating but I survived. Well worth the investment.

I travel a lot so it's nice to be able to see what I'm headed for. It'd be really nice if it could locate me and then auto-target the best radar. (don't laugh too hard if I've just over secured my phone/iPad and I turned the function off pls lol). I'm a weather watcher so I love the map and the alerts.

Works great for me. I'am able to warn family and friends of approaching storms so they can leave early or stay till storm has passed. I use it often. Never a problem.

Yes, the app **was** crashing due to invalid data coming from the National Weather Service. But that's been fixed with this new update. The developer was quick to react to the users and got this update out fast! The developer answers all email even if you haven't bought the app yet!! Once again the best radar app on the app store!

So far it has given me just what I was in need of. I do wish I could zoom in down to a level to see some of the major streets. Also wish lightning could be added to it. It is a handy tool for me since weather effects when and where I work. Thanks for good program.

I got this one and Radar Scope. Spend the extra $5 and get Radar Scope. Radar Scope shows the other radars on the screen and you can quickly see what other nearby radars are showing. Also, Radar Scope only shows alerts for your area.

It's perfect when there is a really big storm outside and you're not sure how bad things really are, all you have to do is look at this app and you'll know!

I have bought a lot of weather apps- Love Weatherbug Elite- but for radar coverage of severe weather- this is the one you want-$5 and I can use it on IPod Touch and IPad. Check it out!

This app is great!! I work in the golf business and we use radars all the time!! Everyone comes to me to see the good radar!! Keep up the good work and the only suggestion I may have is to extend the length of the loop on the current radar..

RadarPro is a highly effective tool and use it frequently as I admit to being a bit of a weather nerd. The navigation from state to state could be a bit easier as the size of the listings is quite small. I personally prefer landscape presentation and would like to have this option. All in all though a very useful application.

This is one of the first things I check every morning. More valid info than looking out the window!

I don't know what other people are complaining about. This app works great! Remember the old line, if you want to know if it's raining out just look out the window. I use this when I'm driving local or long distance to see if there is bad weather ahead. Works perfect all the time. Someone let me know if there is a better app out there.

This app provides a great concept but fails to deliver. The county borders are inaccurate and provide poor reference of precipitation locations. The loops work but very poorly. A waste of 5 dollars. I would like my money back, for 5 bucks I expected very pleasing maps but these are primitive and useless in my area where the counties are small and borders are nowhere near straight lines as this app would suggest. I would like my money back. App deleted.

I noticed radar pro was the first and only "tornado" software to give area squares advising watches. The squares were removed when the alert was over.

On the "warnings" button/section, the alerts should only cover user selected areas. Now not all alerts are listed, and if they were, there would be chaos.

I enjoy this app a lot. My only complaint though is whatever you set as your radar location will always have faint green haze surrounding it. I know that it is not raining so a bit irritating. However, when a storm system does move in it is very handy.

I have been through a lot of weather radar apps, and this one beats them all. Your choice when it updates and the speed of the direct server from the NWS puts this app. first. This app. has all you need, then some.

Very disappointed with this app! Not worth the money I paid at all. With other radar apps, I can view ALL weather systems across the US at the same time. This only lets you view 1 radar site at a time. Not at all what I was expecting for $4.99 & the mostly good reviews.

Really like this app. I use it both on my Iphone4 and Ipad2 with no crashes or program failures.

I have had no speed issues and find it easy to zoom and pan. This app is great for portable use and I use it when I am out spotting during our skywarn nets.

This app worked great all night when I needed it the most. The eye of Lee is about to pass over me now. This is the most accurate radar app I've found. It's better than a credit card. I don't leave home without it.

I work at a place that never tells you about the weather. There could be a F5 coming down the road and you wouldn't know it but now I will. Great App

I use this app several times a day. The only change I would make is have a small button on the site to set the weather in motion.

The most informative and up to date radar system I've used lately. Superior quality in the graphics and layout of the system. Ease of use is a plus for amateur weather watchers as well.

This app is extremely accurate at least in the DC metro area. The only thing I wish it did was give you time stamps as the radar animates itself. Other than that, solid app for the money.

As mentioned on previous review...this app still needs the "Time" stamp to help calculate the speed of the storm. I was hoping it would have been added with this recent update, as was mentioned in an email with the developer. Without this critical information, the user is not for certain the timing of the storm or even if the images are current. July is still not over, so I'm hoping this can get added soon.

Everything else is superb in quality and is very close to "Radar Scope" for half the price!!

Do not purchase this app unless you understand that all it does is display a static pixelated image of raw radar data; there is no animated loop. And, background maps are outline only (see the screenshots). It's certainly not worth $4.99.

Additionally, weather warnings are inexplicably lumped in with the radar selection screen but do not detect your chosen radar location so you have to scroll though all the unrelated weather warnings.

Nice idea to process raw radar data but this app does not feel polished, complete and is not very useful to me. I prefer to use the free "MyRadar" app which for me displays more recent radar data anyway.

Note to developer: why isn't the title bar transparent bit set (just like in the tab bar)? This is the perfect place to use it!

Would like to see a video of the past updates so you can see the progression/ movement of any storms. temperature information would also be helpful. I think the app has potential, but needs more extras to make it worth the $.

For $4.99, I really did expect more features and functionality. While fully understanding that this is RAW data from the NWS, the images are extremely pixelated and coarse for an app that uses "HD" in the title. I have yet to see my weather updated every five minutes, it appears to be more like 12-13 minutes. The ability to add favorites is a must, as is "Landscape" mode. I only have portrait ability in this app. The list of enhancements seems promising, but I hesitate to give more than three stars due to the price. Others do way more, look much better for much less $$$.

So, a decent start for an app that appears to have promise. Now... Let's see these updates!!

Radar seems to lag behind a little. Often times it doesn't update for at least 10 minutes. I would like the ability to see multiple radar sites simultaneously, thus covering a larger area. Also, looping would be an added bonus.

In all, not a bad app, but there are other apps available for less $. Hope to see some enhancements come along soon.
