Description

All in one app for calculating and keeping track of project costs around the house. Use to calculate Carpet, Cement, Dirt/Bark, Drywall, Fencing, Flooring, Labor, Paint, Purchase Items, and Wall Paper. Research Home Improvement sites on the web, Take Pictures of projects, and jot down notes in the Note Pad without leaving the app. Get the benefits of many apps all in one for only 99¢. Pictures can be saved and imported to or from your Photo Library. Research sites can be added to include your favorite sites from around the Web for finding the cost of materials needed for your projects. Measurements are entered using Feet and Inches or Meters and Centimeters and can be converted from one to the other.

Don't buy this

I am a pipe fitter and assumed this would be the same as the known project calc that you buy at stores. It's not! Can't multiply add or subtract feet and inches and is basically just the regular calculator that comes standard on any phone. This is a scam due to the name that it goes by and the fact that they do not show a picture of it anywhere before you purchase it. If you are needing one for construction needs then this is definently not it.

Length and width inputs

I like the app. I noticed that in the drywall part where you can calculate room boards needed. There isn't an option for width??? It only gives you length and height which will not give you accurate figures. Also why is 4x10 in the drywall sizing part? There is only 8' and 12' drywall.

Missed the mark

Categories do not include electrical, very difficult to enter in bids for projects if you aren't doing them yourself, and keyboard does not pop up when trying to add a note. I was excited to keep track of a basement remodel project but this app really is unusable.

Disappointment

Purchased this app to do estimates at customer sites. Embarrassed that app would not open and when it finally opened, the drywall calculations did not work. Unable to edit job types..EX. Flooring, tile, laminate or hardwood. Too many issues with this app to use for my business. Good idea, but not meeting expectations for my day to day activities.

Good concept but...

The main reason I got this app was to have a calculator that dealt in actual measurements with actual fractions as that is the way you measure a room. The convert function only converts to decimals which any calculator will do. If this is fixed you get 4 stars.

Best home improvement list

I looked all over for an app so when we go shopping at home depot i could record our findings for future projects. This app had everything- even connects to home depot! The one change i would like to see is possible an app catered to women. For instance, flooring: all i know is we need 9 boxes of trafficmaster allure@$47.76 per box in a certain color. But the app wants dimensions to configure the cost.

I just paid for a pretty icon and that is all there was. This app stinks! I wish I could give 0 stars!
