Nostalgia Hit
Coming back after a few years and wow, that hit of nostalgia when you hear the “ding ding ding” it just feels like a game that was made a hot minute ago. What would be a good addition to the game would be adding more trains and maps, but if you have a child who likes trains this is a great option.

A good memory but
This game is HIGHLY recommended but needs the daylight. And playtend please add the trains from train empire like for example that Irving engine I like. This is good for little kids I would totally get it

Great for young kids
Remember playing with trains as a kid? Imagine if you could take that train track anywhere? Or your child can? Lol
Trains are fun - Building your own train, switching cars, and changing tracks is fun! This is a great app for hand eye coordination too as children learn to switch tracks to make the trains go the way they want them too. I would recommend this app to parents.

Fun app
This is a really fun app recommended by a parent. You can use this game for many different purposes and skill levels. Building a train by adding an engine and cars is easy, as you can rearrange or delete cars as desired with a tap. For younger ones, it will be fun to simply build your train and ring the bell or toot the horn while it travels the tracks. Older kids get the chance to develop their visual skills - planning, problem solving and predicting a directional outcome. The game-play consists of picking up bales of hay by programming which way your train will go. There are many different levels or maps from which to choose and/or earn. This helps to generalize learning and keep the game fresh. I would recommend for home and clinic use.

This one is for kiddies! My 3 and 4 yr olds both enjoy it! Great concept, just needs more, which hopefully will happen?!?!
My kids love building their train and driving the track... Maybe add some more fun features that make noises. Bells and whistles always appeal! Also, I like how you collect train cargo for points - makes an easy fun game! But how about once u collect so many points, u can get new tracks to explore? It gets a little boring as is...

My 3 yr old loves building the trains. He has some difficulty understanding how the lights work but loves choosing maps and making the train go faster and slower. We love the map where the horse trots down the street and would like more things like that in the other map scenes.

My son love this app
My son has been playing this app since I purchased it for a plane ride we took in December. He loves being able to make his own train, and as he's gotten older (he's been playing since he was 2.5 years old and he's now 3 and a bit) he's been able to choose the different maps and control the train better (e.g., the red/green lights, the train's speed, and the other little bits in some of the maps like the cars and the helicopters). I downloaded 12 different apps for that plane ride/trip and he played with most of them, but this is the only one he's consistently asked to play since.

A bit disappointed in update
So basically you gave us an update for an in-app purchase. Not a single new train or map. My kids have grown bored with this app and I was hoping we'd get at least a few new maps to unlock. How disappointing.

Fantastic train app
Love the amount of choices in engines, cars, and layouts. The "extras" in the layouts give this app more depth. I would love to choose the car from the transition screen with the crane and tractor. Trains and cars don't pivot at 2 points or at least in the center as they should. Very minor stuff. I can't wait until my little one is big enough to play with me!

Wish had more iPads
I have 3 boys, 6yrs and under, and all love this app. They are special needs kids, yet it keeps their attention and is easy to use. Oldest wishes he could change the engines though.

This is a great game. It helps keep my daughter entertained and yes I get a kick out of it as well. Its a portable train layout on the go. Just need more engines and train cars. Thanks to the update u got an old British tank engine an an american 4-4-0 steam engine. Sweet update. Need to be able to pick up and drop off deliveries. Too easy to get points buy just picking up loads

I love this game for my grandchildren. They play for hours. One of them asked if the train could go in reverse but I didn't see anything to indicate that. Don't hesitate to buy the full version!

Best train app
This is definitely the best train app in the app store for our 5-year-old. It is just the right difficulty and pace, and the extra interactions with the cars, boats, and helicopters are fun additions. He loves it!

It was really fun until I beat it 5 minutes into the game. It's 5 stars definitely. But it should be more free. Like no bridges and running into cars to make a wreck.

A godsend for parents of little ones
My son has loved this game since he was a baby. At first he just wanted to watch the train go around, and play with the car selector. That got us through many illnesses and grocery store trips! But now he's old enough to start interacting. So much fun!

My son cannot get enough of this app
We downloaded the lite version of this app the other day, and my four year old son could not stop playing, so we purchased the full version and it's even better! One thing I like about this app is the way it encourages kids to plan where the train goes. My son loves to select the different engines and trucks, and has really enjoyed working towards driving the different tracks. As parents we have had fun sitting with our son talking about where the train goes and picking up the cargo. This is a fun app, and the educational benefits are evident. I also like the fact that there are lots of hidden treats as you play around. For example, we found out you can make cars speed up and stop, you can change the city backdrop, fly planes and helicopters and
delete trucks... A fun app and one I recommend to parents.

This is a Great App as it's simple but "Fun"! I really like the new additions you have added, so keep them coming! As for "New Locomotive's" I sure would like to see an SD-45 and a C44-9W. This is my "Favorite App" and it was a worthwhile investment!

Makes kids think ahead
This is a great app for kids. My four year old plays it constantly. Most important, it helps kids learn to think ahead. The need to set the switches to make the train go on the desired track is a valuable - and fun - lesson for kids. They learn it surprisingly quickly, and can plan ahead by multiple moves. The graphics are great too. Wish I could give this 10 stars.

Cannot get enough
My three year old can NOT get enough of this app! He loves it, and immediately goes to it over others. There are still ways to move the trains that he doesn't quite get which means it will last through this train phase and beyond.
He loves to build and rebuild the trains. If your child is even remotely in to trains they will LOVE this app!
I was ecstatic to see an update with more trains and more tracks and can't wait to show him tomorrow! Yes!! Thanks for the update, so appreciated!

Needs a lot more work
It's not very fun because all you do is make your train with a limited number of cars both look and actual number of cars and then go around in circles a few times passing by some stations. I think you should
1 be able to build your own track
2 not have to pay two dollars for this game
3 be able to change the view
4 have more pre designed tracks
5 maybe have an edges mode that goes around an endless track that doesn't stop and goes through caves over bridges and plenty more terrains.
I'm sure a lot of the other people who bought this game were expecting more. Most of them probably agree with me
It gets one star at it's current stage.
