Doesn’t tell you wait times

What is the point of an app that doesn’t tell you wait times at SFO?? Seriously, why else would you download it?!? What a piece of crap. Don’t waste your time.

All I wanted was security wait times...

Hey thanks for making me download this mediocre app to get information that should be easily made available on your website! It’s way nicer to have to open YET another app just to get what seems to be no more than crappy crowd sourced time estimates for security line wait times. Strong work.

My TSA

Terrible! Downloaded it to my phone and iPad and it refuses to open. Set it up w/my airports when downloaded then this morning it wont open.
Get it fixed please!

Not able to search airports

Looks like some helpful stuff in this app, however the airport add function is either not working or non-existent. This app defaults to an airport I do not use, and despite Following instructions within the app to ‘choose star to add’ it does nothing. Hope this is fixed or added soon. Others have mentioned the same issue, btw.

Not being able to select airport and having to use location services ruins the app. And this even before getting to information it provides which may be inadequate/inaccurate as others say.

I downloaded during the government shut down. None of the information was current or relevant . If you just want some information it is ok. Don’t count on it for accurate wait times.

I cant get rid of the nearest airport, that I do not use. It is on my default page instead of showing my favorites first.

Promising but needs workflow help

Homescreen defaults to closest airport which is not one in my favorites list and there’s no way to go from favorites list to wait time data. Have to get there with a manual search for the airport...

Unpaid Agents

Just wanted you to know that the agents at PDX were gracious and positive this morning even though the twerp in the Oval Office is taking their livelihoods away from them.
My question is....is the Director of the TSA being paid while the agents are not? If so, shame on him/her for accepting their pay. People are suffering out there.

AP great and really works

Started using this app while traveling over NEW YEAR 2019. Worked and was accurate on wait times.
Also, shout out to all the TSA agents working professionally with huge crowds on Jan. 5 in Denver. They were polite and really helpful.
No reason not to get this app if you fly to travel.

KTN on iPad doesn’t save

This works fine on my iPhone, but on my iPad when I try to save the KTN number, it doesn’t save. It confirms that it’s saved, but when I exit and reopen the app, it’s gone.

Bugs

Just downloaded the app and it crashed out twice in the first two minutes so I deleted it. Super disappointing. I just deleted it. Hopefully they will fix it next year.

Nearby Airport

Why in the world do you not allow me to remove the airport identified as “NEAREST”. I wouldn’t ever use that facility and seeing it at the top of my list is disturbing every time I open the app.

What does it do?

I’m happy that TSA decided to make an app, assuming the purpose is to reduce frustration. But what I see instead is an app that tells me little more than I already know. Not sure why I should keep this app on my phone if it does no work that it could use when traveling.

No numbers

This app would be useful if it provided actual wait times. Instead it graphically tells what the wait is compared to “peak” with no numbers. Might be useful for a local with a lot of experience with their home airport, but not anyone else.

Not helpful

This app pulls up Pueblo, CO airport based on my home location 15 miles from SLC. Huh???
And it has little bars that are, I suppose, to indicate the wait times. But no actual numbers next to the bars so it is impossible to know what the bars actually mean. Isn’t this the main reason for the app?
How much taxpayer money was spent on this garbage?
The list of what you can and can’t take on a plane does seem to be comprehensive and may be helpful someday, so that is good.

Can’t change default airport

This seems like it can be useful, but I can’t find a way to remove the default closest airport, which I never use, or at least drop it below the ones I actually fly from. The what can I bring list is helpful; there are things there I wouldn’t even have thought to ask about. I’ll revisit this after my holiday travels and adjust the rating if appropriate. Three stars for now, meaning average.

Decent app, missing a few things

This is a decent overall app, but there a few items that need polishing. One thing I wish they would address is leaving the TSA Pre-Check gates and times up 24x7. Simply listing hours of service, rather than not showing up at all, would be more helpful!

Rejected in LAS

TSA Pre has worked well, until today in LAS. When I got to the security check, the agent said I wasn't prechecked and sent me to the back of the non-TSA Pre queue, behind about 300 others.

Doesn’t do much

I had hoped this would be much more helpful; however it just doesn’t help much.
It doesn’t tell you which security line at the airport is the fastest.
It shows you a graph of relative wait times at the airport. However there is no scale on the graph, so you can’t tell if the longest wait time is a few minutes or a couple of hours. And as mentioned before, it doesn’t break this info out by the different security lines in an airport.
It does show you what items are allowed / prohibited in your carry-on. However, I don’t see this as a big selling point.

Birth Certificates

The setting up of the appointment was nice and smooth, however I fail to understand the statement of “your birth certificate is to old” which was the answer I received at my appointment to finish the application. This make no sense that an original birth certificate is NOT excepted.
Please fix your system it’s a little broken.

So Far So Good

I find using this app easy and informative. If there is an issue or question about something I want to put in my carry on I just email them. Usually within 24 hours I have an answer. A very useful to for any traveler.

This hasn’t really helped me yet

As an executive platinum on American I fly several times a week. So far this has been relatively unhelpful. How do I input the wait times for my fellow travelers? Maybe if we have more people using it, it will be more beneficial.

Histogram is useless without y-axis scale

While the histogram gives one a relative feel in relation to the ‘peak’ wait time, without knowing whether the peak is 15 min, 1 hr i.e. some time this graph is useless. This is a math 101 skill in setting up a graph.

Flawed App

No matter how many times I change the Airport to the Airport I fly out of, it still wants to default to a local airport I never fly out of. I only have one airport in my “My Airports” list but it still keeps showing another airport. It also doesn’t remember the time I put for traveling. Very primitive glitchy app.

Immediately crashed

I’ve been using this app for approximately two minutes, trying to check the security wait time at LAX (no information, so it was pointless anyways) and it’s already crashed once.

Terrible

There is no useful data in this app. I used to be able to look on the TSA website for actually wait times in minutes. I can’t find that data so I hoped it would be in this app. This app does not show wait time in minutes. The display has no y axis label and is just an estimate of busy-ness.

No response. Devs might want to look into revising chat! This may not be the best forum but I know I am not the only one to post problems in a review. This is definitely a promising app but my 5 * review will have to wait a few revisions to see if they can fix chat.

I have tried to renew my TSA Pre-Check since November 2017 with no success!?
Why is this so difficult?
