Description
With PrinterShareTM you can print photos, contacts, and web pages. Many other apps, including Mail, Safari and Notes, allow you to copy something and then paste it into PrinterShare for printing.
FEATURES
Using paid PrinterShare app you can print the following content:
- Photos and images;
- Web pages, emails and attachments;
- Contacts;
- Content copied to clipboard (using Paste to Print);
- Content shared from other apps using the Action button.
You can print via:
- Wi-Fi (using a Wi-Fi Direct printer or using a Wi-Fi router as a middleman);
- Bluetooth (only on supported Apple MFi certified printers);
- PC or Mac (if your printer is shared using PrinterShare Console desktop client or standard tools of your computer's OS);

USING PRINTERS
Printing on Nearby wireless printers
Most of the Wi-Fi printers are detected automatically. PrinterShare can print on such printers directly in case they are supported by the app.

If your printer is not among supported, you can print as well using the PrinterShare Console desktop app. As long as your printer available from a Windows or Mac computer, you can print via the Console. To use it, download the PrinterShare Console software on that computer from www.printershare.com .
PrinterShare app installed on your mobile device will find printers shared via the Console automatically. However, please note that your printer should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to which your mobile device is connected.
Remote printing via the Internet
Also, you can print on printers located anywhere in the world via the Internet. This will require the same Console software installed on the computer at the receiving end, and a PrinterShare Console account registered. Printing from the PrinterShare Premium remotely using the PrinterShare Console does not require any additional payments.

Takes at least 5+ attempts of partial prints before a good one will print. Wastes paper, ink & time trying to get one decent print. Sorry I wasted my money on this app.

Won't print a PDF file from the Web
I tried for an hour to get this app to print a PDF flyer from the web using this app from my iPad and it wouldn't work. Just had text like "image001text28" in the preview screen. It then just printed a blank page. Very disappointing and a waste of my money.

iPhone to Bluetooth printer does not work
I bought app since it said print to Bluetooth printer. No internet for a wifi printer. Doesn't work. Emailed them for support and they say can't print directly to Bluetooth printer. Wasted my $.

Great App
I have to disagree with some of the other reviews here. This app worked great for me. I have been using it on my IPad and IPhone5. I print a bunch of different things to an HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 and a PhotoSmart 7520 without any issues. Really convenient.

Don't buy this!
It printed half a page then froze my printer and completely deleted the printer from my network and computer. I'm still trying to fix my printer. I tried to check the list of supported printers, but the link doesn't work. I'll probably have to do a complete system restore on my computer to fix this problem. My printer is an HP and is 4 years old.

Stopped seeing my wifi printer
I've used this app successfully for several years and today, out of the blue, it stopped seeing the wifi printer it's been seeing all along. Nothing I could do to fix it (wifi printer successfully seen by other devices). I really don't like the new user interface of this version either.
When I select the Print a Photo option, it puts me at the oldest pic on my Camera Roll - I ALWAYS want to print the newest pic on the roll, which means scrolling and scrolling and scrolling.
WHY FIX SOMETHING THAT WASNT BROKEN??

Outstanding app...quick and easy to use!
I've been waiting for an app that us as easy to use as printing from my laptop and this is it! I downloaded it, opened my document, shared it to the app and selected the printer on my network! It was as easy as that!!! Way cool!

A few glitches
I have an IPhone 5 and have been unable to print anything. It says sending but doesn't. Then freezes up when you try to abort the print job. It is able to locate my Kodak ESP-5250 but does not have, and cannot upload the correct driver software. Other than not being functional it works great!

Halfway works
I have a non-AirPrint Canon and thought this would be cheaper than replacing the printer. It works fine to print via the web with the client software. But the app crashes my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S if I try to print via wifi. Not worth the effort to print when I need it. A waste of money for me.

Works when it wants to
It doesnt always find my printer connected to wifi. The printer is connected and I can print using a computer, but when using printshare on my droid phone or Ipad it simply says that the printer is not connected. I tried cycling the power on all devices and it doesn't work. Then again it will work flawlessly next week. Very unstable.

Poor app
I have had this app for almost a year, waiting for them to include the most common and recent printers. This app does NOT work. I have not seen an update in 7-8 months and I don't know why I don't just uninstall it. This could be an incredible app but they obviously don't put any resources toward actually making it work...too bad...don't purchase.

Printershare has been awesome. It was easy to set up and I love being able to print from the notepad etc on my iPad. Once you get the hang of the copy and paste feature it becomes easy to print. I haven't tried to print emails from gmail yet. I wish it could print from other email sources. Great app. Completely worth the cost!

More trouble than it's worth
I got this because printing from an iPad in an otherwise PC environment is a problem. I'm disappointed. This application is unreliable. Sometimes it can find and use my wi-fi printer, sometimes not. Sometimes it will print my current webpage, sometimes not. After reinstalling the iPad OS, I reloaded the Premium version according to the site instructions and got charged a second time. This app has only added to the frustration of iPad printing.

I tried out the free app to test my printer and I thought it worked because it managed to warm up my printer and get it going but I figured the "test" phase just that, this paid version does squat and I should have realized when the app store was acting strange, it was a sign to not buy lol

This is a life saver!
I had recently bought a hp office jet 4500 wireless printer. I wanted to be able to print from my iPad. After doing a little research I found out I couldn't use my iPad to print. I said that can't be, I was also setting up my mobile phone, and saw a little app called print share, and it printed something out of my phone! I said great, is there an app for apple iPads 2. Load and behold, there was an app called print share! I downloaded it and test printed a picture. And the printer went on and was printing! I am so happy to have found this app. I download so many others, they all didn't work. Thanks print share! I almost lost hope in trying to print from my iPad!

This app is working for me with photos though only in B&W since I am using a generic driver.. Can't seem to connect to my email to try that.
The printer is networked via wired LAN. Not instant but not really slow.

The Only print prg I found that gives you control
I give it three stars only because it needs a few fixes. Took me $20. worth of photo paper and over half of both color and black and white ink cartridges to get to what I wanted. Tricky options. Photo paper select threw me for awhile in that it didn't indicate that it was 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 or whatever. Then the size print select keeps jumping on and off but figured out if you select an unknown paper type the 8X10 etc. option comes back. If you have the wrong combination of options you will be printing 4-5 sheets with a one inch segment of subject on the very edge of each sheet. Grrrrr
These are the things that need to be cleaned up. Once you get it working, it does what it says. For instance say an 8x10 Landscape high res B5 paper. Comes out great
ONE MAJOR SUGGESTION......
Have an option for away from home printing where you can EMAIL to the printer and not just local Wifi

Easy to use for iPad
I first bought this app for my droid x phone to work with my hp office jet 6500 six months ago. The app installed perfectly and has never given me a problem that I was not able to correct in just a short time. I purchased the app for my iPad and at first it printed only the first two inches of any document. I then contacted the developer who told me to reboot my iPad and it has worked flawlessly! It's a good app with great follow up from the developer. This is not a developer that will leave you out in the cold, they will help you resolve any problem in a short amount of time. My emails were often returned with a helpful instruction often within an hour or two. Its a very user friendly print app. I like it a lot!

Looks like the crash is fixed now, printed fine on my Deskjet printer right away. I had to install PC client to set up some other printers, other than that it all looks great.

This app is hopeless
What a waste of money. It's a lost cause. The app crashes even before you launch it. Such a shame. Be forewarned don't buy this. I just downloaded the update & it made no difference. The developer obviously doesn't know what to do or simply doesn't care. It's been like this for months. I give up. I'll delete this crap app & look for another. It used to work very well in the beginning. I have no clue why the developer destroyed it.

Why are you people not fixing the app crashing issue!? 5 dollars is too much for an unreliable app that crashes everytime it is opened! I hate this app and this company! Terrible company! Someone needs to be fired! Version 2.5.2 did not fix the issue with the app crashing constantly. I am reporting you to Apple! And I want a refund so I can spend that money on a reliable printer app!

Still crashes on opening. I want my money back. This is ridiculous. One update screws everything up, the next update, that supposedly fixes the issue, does nothing, and now another update that doesn't address the biggest problem.
Stop worrying about adding new printers. Fix the crashing issue and then add more compatible printers.

after I loaded the new update for printer share I am unable to open the app. it crashes soon as I try to open it. it worked fine before this update. please fix quickly.

When I installed the premium version only it kept crashing as soon as I opened it. When I installed the free test version, ran the test and then hit print and upgraded to the premium version (it recognized that I had already purchased it and didn't charge again) it started working fine. You should do the free version first anyway to be sure it works with your printer (I didn't because my husband had just purchased it the upgrade way and it worked so I knew our printer was fine)

Crashes when opening
I agree with all the preceding comments about the app crashing when you try to open it. I've emailed the company telling them about the problem two weeks ago...and no response. Definitely do not buy this app in it's current version...or until they have fixed the problem.

Piece of Junk
The app worked correctly on my HP LaserJet 4240, back in July 2010. But with the iPad iOS 4.x upgrade, the app no longer works.
I wrote to the developer, and they assured me that if I deleted the app and re-downloaded it, it should solve the problem,.
And. I would not be charged again for the download. Not only did the problem not resolve itself, but I was charged another $4.99!

Worst app I have ever worked with.
Purchased this app after printing the test page without any problems. Big mistake. The app interface is very good, the instructions are pretty good, but the app itself is the pits. After installing and reinstalling several times, and wasting (several blank pages w/ each print) pages, They should provide a refund for this sorry app. Save your money.

Wifi good
The wifi setting works pretty good. I'm printing through a Windows 7 PC to a Dell Laser printer. I need to turn off my firewall to get the I-Pad recognize the printer. Minus 1 star.
I'm taking off another star because you need to pay for pages when you used up your ten pages.

Works great with local wifi printer
I have only used this to print to my hp photosmart plus b209 wifi printer. With this in mind it works great. It detected my network printer as soon as I started the app. It let's me print webpages easily, which is what I wanted app for.
I tested it first by downloading the free version which let me print a test page to my hp photosmart. When that worked I bought the full version.

It works!
Tried other printing apps with higher ratings but in the same price range and they only print what you have copied to the clipboard and beware(!) only unformatted text prints not any graphics that may accompany the text! This application prints all pages of a web site or anything you have on your clipboard. I have a Brother hl-2170w and am very happy with the output. My only knock is that a generic driver is used, but so far, so good. It was the only reason the app fell short of 5 stars. Nice job and I hope to see more native drivers added in the future.

iPad works through computer, No WIFi direct
So far works good. iPad / iPhone does not support direct WiFi print. Developers site says this is coming. It works great on my wife's Droid. But for now for iPad you need to have desktop computer on your LAN to print through.

No wi-fi printing for me
I bought this application for the sole purpose of printing from my IPad to my HP C6180 Wi-Fi printer. My printer is in the list of compatable printers but for some reason this software dosn't see it. Theres nothing you can do to configure it it either sees it or it doesn't and if it doesn't their help center says to print through some other connected computer....That kind of defeats the whole purpose. I'm not sure how the remote printing function of the program works but for my use it was a waste of money

Fantastic
At first my iPod Touch didn't see my WiFi printer, but a little patience is all it took for my Epson Artisan 800 to show up and then I was able to pick out something to print. I'm very satisfied.

GUIs is the easiest app to set up for printing. Others may boast, but this actually works after I downloaded four different types and broke my nerves. Thanks! Much appreciated!
