Version 2.6.6
Every time I open this app, there is some glitch that is pushing the ads onto my lock screen. My lock screen shows the audio controls as if you were playing music or something, except its blank and there is nothing to play. It just says advertisement. It took me a while to figure out what was causing it, b/c none of my streaming or music apps were open. Then I finally double-pressed the home button and closed the Fox News app to finally restore my lock screen's default background. Please fix that!

First off, if you couldn't already tell a ton of the 5 star ratings saying "Fair and Balanced, Real News" are bots and fakes, with names like "Papi4Trump" "daddytrump", "k.Trump", "mcDonaldTrump", "D Trump jr", TrumpMAGA" and "hjjhjkgjkg", then you're already getting bamboozled and probably will be by this phony news network as well. There is literally a review by user "RealNews" with "Real" in the Title and the review says "Real"...
It's common knowledge FOX is Right-Wing. Not Balanced at all. I'm not saying CNN (Left-Wing) is any better or any more unbiased than this garbage, just please use common sense, knowledge and do your own research. There are far more credible and actual balanced mediums.
Now carrying on... On July 10th Fox & Friends reported, aired and tweeted out that James Comey had leaked top secret, classified information related to his conversations with the President. They slammed and shamed him all day for "putting our national security at risk" while criticizing other news networks for being unfair and biased.
News flash, their report was inaccurate and wrong based on no credible sources.
July 11th they retracted that statement.
As the President has stated himself, any news network that has to retract false information or statements and does not provide credible sources in their reporting is Fake News.
Fox is Fake News.
Not only has nobody been punished or reprimanded for their shoddy reporting--as they would on any other network--but they have offered no official apology to Comey or for their false claims.
They do not care about hurting others, only viewership.
Get your news elsewhere.
We are better than this. FOX is categorized as entertainment rather than news because that's what they do, stir the pot and cause drama for your amusement. Not credible or fair research and journalism by any means. Just opinions.
Good luck and be stronger and smarter than this.

Thank you Fox News for offering an alternative to the bias and dishonest news found on other networks. I was a huge fan of CNN going back to the days of Peter Arnet, B. Shaw that channel has become unwatchable their credibility is at 0 somehow Msnbc has found a way to be worse.
Keep up the great reporting informing the viewer of both sides of the story. I would say to anyone looking for true journalism have you noticed Fox news has not had to issues a apology or retraction regarding any story they have reported on its almost to ludicrous to believe Cnn had to admit they lied, made up stories, twisted the truth and had to apologize what was it 4 times in the month of June.
The 5, Hannity, Tucker, Judge, Geraldo, Gutfield fantastic lineup reporting you can trust.

Honestly this station is one of very few if any major news organizations that is not devoting its entire network to taking down, slandering, mocking, hindering, blaming, hating, and attempting to trash the lawfully elected President of the United States. I use this network and it's app religiously, for the simple reason that none of its anchors are whining on national television. They spend their time reporting the news how it is, and letting their viewers deciding what to make of it. Unbiased reporting!!! Good job, keep it up!

Version 2.6
The overall layout and use of app is nice. However the use of the app to pull stories in leaves a frustrating experience for users. Either app issues or content issues or both frequently leave a reader who clicks through to a story with a different image or video than on the articles page. Worse still is when a headline states, "watch this...", "new video shows...." or similar, but the story itself either has a video or picture at the top which doesn't cover what was promised in the headline/teaser, or is sometimes entirely unrelated. Also, the story may reference other pictures, videos, or stories /links that simply don't exist and there is no way to get them, short of exiting the app and doing a browser search for the real story. Very frustrating.
Update : this has been reported to them several times and they even replied once a few months ago. Still the issue persists daily. Today "NASA's newest photo of Jupiter will blow your mind" but the pic at the top of the article is of our waning moon, and no link in the article to the actual pic. This kind of junk makes the app so frustrating, content is king and they fail to deliver repeatedly on visual media in the app.

I like the app, especially the updates. It is a little annoying to be misdirected sometimes and it took me a while to figure out that the little icon at the top brought up the breaking news. Love the evening programming, especially Hannity, Justice, O'Reilly, Carlson. Love it when I have time to catch Outnumbered, The Five, and The first 100 days. Sure wish I could catch the morning show but my schedule conflicts. So glad Megan Kelly is gone and now if Shepherd Smith would just go, too! I really hate biased news, and although Fox has disappointed me at times, they are still the best we've got so far. A bit disappointed with John Roberts, the new Washington correspondent. He used to be fair but I guess Washington has gotten to him. Too bad. Sure wish Chris Wallace would be more like his dad-unbiased. Love our two ladies that do an awesome job reporting the latest. I miss Brit but I do like Carlson. Respect Charles Krauthammer. So glad Judge Napalitano is back. He is so very informative and makes us understand so much. He's not the only one, though! Judge Janeen is fabulous, too! Wish I could name all the ones that do such an awesome job!

Having received my degree in journalism, I have been disheartened by inaccurate quoting of news reporters on CNN, which I used to watch and respect. That, combined with no coverage of major stories such as the Benghazi scandal on what used to be important major network channels has caused me to turn to Fox News with gratitude. Politics will always be politics, but when we lose fair and unbiased news reporting, we are all subject to losing the freedoms that the country was founded on. News journalists have a responsibility to keep excesses in check, and they do this by reporting only the facts, all of the facts, without persuasive or biased slants so we the people can make our own minds up. That is the best way to ensure fairness and freedoms--whatever your political views. FOX seems to be the only news reporting agency that understands that, and I believe it is the only fair reporting left.

Just want to thank you all of you so very much I know when I turn on FOXNews I know I'm going to get the truth no matter if it's good or bad. I watch you every program and I'm impressed with every single one of you. I pray for you all and I'm hoping and praying that you will get the other news agencies in this country to start telling the truth instead of bending fax to suit their own political agenda. It's absolutely a shame what happened to this country and I blame the Clintons and Obama's for at all.i'm not an invective person but if I was president I would take both Clintons and X President Obama Take their money away and throw all three in the federal prison where they belong. But I remember what the Bible says "Vengeance is mine says the Lord" what he will do them is much worse than whatever America could do them. I don't know how they can sleep at night.I praise my Lord for President Trump because I know that the Lord has chosen him to give the people of this country one more chance to change their ways. FOXNews is such a blessing your statement is true "Fair and Balanced News!"Shalom and Blessings to you all, sincerely Edward A. Orbaker

FoxNews , is the only New Channel I watch. I love Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly, and Chris Wallace, Greta Van, Susteren, Kimberberly Guilfoyle. Now, Megan Kelly, has got where she think she knows it all, I used to really like watching her, now she only wants to talk about Trump tape that haven 10 year ago. When, she could be talking about Hillary emails. Tonight, she really showed her colors. Gingrich, let her have it👏🏻👍🏻 so proud of him. All she wants is to talk about Trump sex life, she never talks about Hillary backing Bill, sex life in the White House. Why is Trump sex life so important to her. When there is so much news on Hillary emails, she rather talk about a tape of Trump 10 years ago. He wasn't even run for President then. We didn't care about this. We care about our Country! If Hillary was to become President, she will destroy the 🇺🇸 United States. I think that a lot more important then a old tape! He is Boy Scout, compared to Hillary. Hillary is a lier and a murderer. She believes a Baby has no rights, that a woman can carry a 👶🏻 Baby 9 months, and it's alright to kill the Baby during delivery. I think this is more important then a tape, of Trump , 10 years ago. She just has a problem with Trump, may be she just wanted Trump for herself 🤔

By far, I believe that the news that Fox Reports is pretty accurate. But there seems to always be a little something missing. For 30+ years Ive watched as what's reported went from "News" to Info-Tainment. We don't want to be entertained. We want to know what's going on, who's breaking the law and who's doing what to fix it. Our country has gotten away from our Base Law, The Constitution. We Need to be reporting what's going on and then bringing up what The Constitution says on the matter. Wouldn't that be Fair? Wouldn't that be Balanced instead of listening to what our leaders Think, when all they do is break the law and slander our Founders work? If we don't return to our Constitution and stop letting our Elected Employees lead us down the road to Socialism to the likes of which Stalin would be proud they stifle decent with every syllable from their mouths, our country and the days of Real Journalism will be over. Might as well throw the boob toob right out the window. Other than that, you all Rock 😋

My husband is the one who got me hooked on Fox. I was always a Channel 8 watcher but I am boycotting Channel 8 and deleting their app. for not trying to be more fair in presenting news. Yea, everyone can report an accident or bad things happening in the world, but when it comes to our country and most recently the presidential election, as a news station you need to be neutral and not try to press people to vote one way or another. Also, give the new president a chance for Gods sake!! He inherited years of crap that was going on in Washington and I am looking forward to see what he does with moving the country forward. As a middle class tax payer I am so tired of paying for people who are using the system and collecting checks sitting home watching TV and eating potato chips while I get up every day at 4 am to work a full time job to give my family a better life. Anxiety and depression can be treated so you can be a productive citizen. That being said, I enjoy the interviews, debates, opinions, and presentations Fox News puts on TV - good, bad , or indifferent. It's fair and equal.

It's like the US, has great potential

I have watched Fox News along with other major news outlets my entire life. I have always enjoyed Fox because of the debates and respect to others while giving them a chance to speak. Sure after the opposed finishes speaking they may be ripped into but, they were given a chance to share their side.
My main issues with this application is the articles aren't fully shown. If they are then the articles just didn't evolve past the beginning of a story. The sponsored stories usually show up bellow the unfinished stories. Which is the agenda. Read what people only want you to read and not what you want.
The notifications. I receive them and when I go into the app to find the story it isn't there. I check the notifications on the top right of the app let you see what just happened and if there is a story there I would like to read. They don't link to the article. Hyperlink that.
The issues aren't big, yet they are big enough to bug me and could easily streamline the app.

Love Fox News, App is now officially AWFUL

Ugh. Okay Fox News- you got me! After saying, "No thank you," numerous times to your request for a review, your latest add to your app has sent me over the edge. I would have reported my biggest problem with this app as the terrible editing, but now I have even more reason to gripe, which I will address shortly. I have often wondered what kind of qualifications you need in order to be hired on as an editor for this app. Or maybe there is no editor?? So bad...especially for a news app. It's truly cringeworthy. Double words, misspellings, missing text, etc. They really need to fix this problem.
My other complaint is the amount of "sponsored" stories. It makes it so "yahoo-esque." I'd so much rather Fox News put out a no BS app that truly is all "real" news.
And now, as if to add insult to injury, there is now an annoying popup video every. single. time I access the app and try to scroll through the headlines. If this is how Fox News improves their app I shudder to think of what's next. I am one step closer to deleting this app altogether.
I love Fox News, and I really want to like this app but I just don't. Get it together, Fox News!

During the last 6 mos. of 2016, Fox News has moved away from being Conservative & moved toward the left side too much, enough that I now watch OAN for some News and a few programs, and I watch FBN too. The sexual harassment problem of 2016, which caused several of your very intelligent & beautiful female employees to quit, has truly harmed the overall outlook & appearance & it needs to get back to what it was before that entire mess. Two GOOD & SMART steps in that direction were the addition of Tucker Carlson, and the elimination of the snobby snide "Hillary supporting/Trump hating" MEGAN KELLY! Than you for that excellent move even if it wasn't your choice because many of us were turning the channel. I still go to FOX NEWS first before any other. I LOVE SEAN H., The Five are GREAT, O'Reilly is very good, and I especially like Tucker, STU VARNEY, LOU DOBBS, Neil Bolling, Cavuto, and Bret Baier. Outnumbered is also a good show. Your coverage of TRUMP was excellent- just get back to consistent Constitutional Conservative values so we still have at least ONE NETWORK to depend upon!

I was using USA Today and was very frustrated after they updated and ruined the app - essentially peppered it with too many ads, a GUI that became more of a distraction than useful, and not to mention, frequent crashes. I trashed that loser of an app, and tried out FOX NEWS and very impressed at everything I see so far. Keep up the good work!! This app is very easy to navigate and find articles of interest. Well organized with mix of videos, written articles and even live news. Ads are still there but do not interfere or distract in any way. Have had a couple of crashes, but overall I love this news app. USA Today is going to lose many more readers to FOX NEWS.
Update - after a month using FOX News app, I am still very satisfied with this over the USA Today app. Although I would give it a perfect score, but still experiences an occasional crash but nothing compared to USA TRASH APP - which crashed so often it became unusable. Keep up the improvements!!

I'm an Independent/Libertarian (most importantly a Constitutionalist) and watch all the cable news channels and just with this weeks occurrence, as well as the manner in which KellyAnne Conway was treated and accused of at the Harvard quorum,...then seeing it play out on the three major channels where 2 VERY much cut out full paragraphs of the actual conversation (CNN & MSNBC) to maintain the ideological side of their "isle" was very apparent! I'm not a Trump fan...but it was ridiculous the way she was treated and, even worse so falsely accused of, was not only disgusting but proved to me finally Fox does provide the full information for you to then decide which side you agree or associate with. Although in this day the thought of sides is ridiculous, childish and counterproductive it good to finally realize there is a reliable source of truth. Now....Hannity is a different story but LOVE O'Reilly and even more-so Megan Kelley!!! 👍🏽😁

As a former journalist and writer/editor for the largest subscription NEWS SERVICE in THE WORLD, I can attest to the absolute need in a DEMOCRACY for ALL MEDIA to do its job...and that job is to act as the WATCHDOG of our Governments AT ALL LEVELS! With the exception of FOXNEWS Networks, today's media have become the Obama Administration's LAPDOGS, catering to him and his entire family as well as his entire ADMINISTRATION unlike EVER BEFORE IN OUR NATION's HISTORY! This practice serves as a detriment to all AMERICANS! With its motto of "FAIR & BALANCED reporting, FOXNEWS assures ALL viewers they will receive both sides of the issue, regardless of its topic, persons involved, location. time of day or night, AND it's importance! FOXNEWS is the ONLY News source worthy of my intelligent mind! I do NOT appreciate the reporting by other NEWS outlets who do not know the difference between factually ACCURATE reporting and/or CONTINUOUS editorializing! Thus, my choice of an APP worthy of my time and efforts 24/7!

I have been a faithful viewer of Fox News for as many years as I can remember. My television is always tuned to the news station for hours everyday. However, in the recent years, I have began to grow overly tired of seeing the women trying to see how far they can push their breasts up and how much higher their heels can go. Does Fox News really think I want to turn on my television for news stories and have to endure plunging neck lines and Vaseline slick legs every single time I view the news? No, I don't! As for the application on my phone, every day for the past year in the middle scroll bar, Fox News has chosen to put either a very nude female, a sexual topic, or a story line that discusses some sexual behavior. Why? Is there really a need to put breasts or partially nude women on every page, everyday? I realize I may be a minority expressing my distaste on this topic, as sex does sell, but can't you take the high road for once and rely on your ability to provide great news instead? Fox News, please stop using sex to sell your products. Your news is worthy enough to attract our attention. I assure you, we don't need ridiculous, raunchy stories to snag our attention. Please, clean your act up!

Version 2.2.10
Yes, I know FOX News is one to lean more to the conservative side, BUT they don't insult my intelligence with extreme bias stories, and out right lies. Out of all the news channels I do believe FOX News does the best job at telling the truth not as they want us to see it, but just the truth. They do call out the politicians on their flip flopping, or lies be it Republican, or Democrat. I do wish at times that the reporters didn't appear so much like 'bullies' when asking hard questions. Allow your guest to answer completely before you respond. Yes, I know all news organizations do this type of interviewing and I believe FOX started this type of hard interviewing. But I hate it when someone does that to me when asked a question. Start a new trend because we know other executives of news organizations keep their eyes, and ears on FOX.
Other news organizations 'weave' their news stories on such a bias thread hoping we wear their truth sort of on the line of the "Emperors New Clothes." We know their news reports have holes, and sometimes just a complete lie, but they believe we will hear their reports and not spot the obvious truth.
FOX News knows their audience is intelligent enough to listen, and to form our own opinion on their reporting.

Version 2.2.1
My wife and I have been fans of Fox News for many years and sincerely appreciate getting unbiased information and reports. We love Bill O'Reilly, the folks on The Five, and Sean Hannity. We use the iPhone Apps quite a bit because they are convenient and easy to use because we don't have a lot of time to watch TV. Unfortunately, this app has increasingly become disappointing because of the 30 sec advertisements you have no choice but to watch before you can view the news video. We don't mind being "forced" to watch a 15 sec ad but a 30 sec ad is definitely unacceptable. It is especially bad when your forced to watch a 30 sec ad for a news report that is only 2 minutes or even less. REALLY! These long ads are getting out of hand and we will likely delete this app and get our information and reports from other sources. We love the reporting but the duration of advertisements is way too long especially when you don't even get the option to "opt out" of or "skip" the ad. We get the idea that developing and maintaining the site had a cost element but a 30 sec ad is way too much for a smart phone or iPad app report.

Version 2.2.6
Why do you wrote headlines like: "Jennifer Aniston's family tragedy" about the death of her elderly mother? That is not a tragedy. That is the normal expected part of life. Tragedies are what Patrick Duffy experienced when both of his parents were murdered. That's a tragedy; having an elderly parent die is sad but not a tragedy. Or is all you're trying to accomplish "click bait"? In that case, good job. This website has the most deplorable editors, if they have any, that I have ever seen. They consistently use the term "after" when they mean "when". A current headlines states: boy killed after home sprayed with gunfire. So what they're saying is that after the house was sprayed with gunfire someone then went and killed the kid. They clearly mean he was killed when the house was sprayed with gunfire. Fox wants us to believe that they are the smartest news site. Well, the people who read your news are smart too and your poor editing is just plain annoying. It's not like you update the website on any kind of regular basis, so there's no reason that you couldn't edit the things that you put up.

I've had this app for over two years and it has steadily gotten worse over time. The biggest issue is with opening the app. It's a hit-or-miss on how long it takes to open or whether or not it opens at all. This wasn't as much of an issue when I first downloaded the app but, as I said, it has steadily gotten worse over time.
It would also be nice if we could expand pics or tilt the phone for larger pictures and easier reading of articles. As it is now, tilting the phone only brings up a selection of videos, a feature that I have never used.
**Update: The app opening issue seems to have been resolved. However, one thing I forgot to mention in my initial review was with some of the videos not pertaining to the attached story/headline. Also, when I tap on a video and then decide I don't actually want to watch it, I have to wait for the preceding ad to finish playing before I can close the video or close out the app to stop it.

I just to watch CNN and MSNBC. Got apps for both. But they became very annoying. They seemed to persuade you towards one side of an issue compared to another.
I started watching Fox during breakfast and it was more biased. They always have a liberal and a conservative in all they reports and stories to hear what people think on each side. I liked that. While I'm away from home and I couldn't watch the news I got the Fox News app. It has good coverage that tells the story and doesn't lead liberal or conservative. I think it is thee most balanced news cast out today. Plus when they send notifications of what is going on around the world it isn't something that is blah blah blah. But rather something that matters. Which is another bonus compared to other news apps.
I have seen reviews of the app crashing. I haven't had this happen to me. But one down side is the 15 second ad. I can't seem to ever turn it down. But then again it is only 15 seconds...

Please start proofreading.

Version 2.2.5
As an independent conservative I constantly search for fair and balanced reporting. Truthfully, I'm not sure professional journalism, reporting the facts free of bias editorializing, still exists with any news source. If there is an upside to the Fox News app, the pro would be that I can access my "news" and entertainment quickly from one source. Changing the format to true journalism would require an unthinkable alteration for the network, so instead I offer a simple suggestion to boost the quality of the reporting and support the facade of a professional information source:
Please, please, please start proofreading each contributors work before posting. Although many readers may overlook the detail of syntax errors, the frequent grammar and writing mechanics oversights in published works were not even acceptable at a local high school newspaper level. The goal is scholarly, journalistic conveyance of the uninfluenced truth of fact by wordsmiths capable of producing material well-above the level of creative writing. Moreover, readers of the Fox News app and website should not suffer a constant intellectual assault by individuals charged with accurately conveying important information. As a matter of pride, if for no other reason, please improve the quality of the writing.

Version 2.2.5
Fox is great for when you are only interested in getting the facts. You don't have to worry about the information being presented with an incredibly noticeable slant, (either way) as you often do on other news site's web pages. In other words, there isn't an AGENDA, therefore the news is given to you straightforward and to the point. I appreciate that, because it saves me time and aggravation when I'm only needing to find out what happened, etc. and don't need my news to be preachy or condescending.
If I have time to waste, and I happen to be in the mood for fluff - then I might go to CNN or a network site, but I ALWAYS go to FNC first thing when something big has happened.
Thanks FOX, for giving it to us straight and not trying to tell us what we need to accept or reject in our private lives! Thank you for not participating in the destruction of this once GREAT country!
God Bless!

Version 2.2.5
Overall the app functions well and Fox is my go to for current news and political coverage, but it drives me crazy that there are so few illustrations, graphics, and/or pictures inside the articles, especially when the article is centered around a graphic. For example, one headline today was "Rare White Giraffe Spotted in Africa," but when you click on the link there is no picture of the white giraffe or an easy link to view it even. It seems a bit absurd to me and this happens all the time. I literally was barely interested in the white giraffe but fully expected to click the link and see it right there in front of me, but nope, just an article about the sighting. I realize this is a petty example, but it happens time and again across a spectrum of relevant stories. And when links ARE included in the story i always inadvertently click on them as i am scrolling down the article...every single time. So while the content is fine, the user interface is extremely under-developed. Just my 2 cents. The giraffe set me off:)

I have tried several news apps just to see what is out there and about a week later I ended up only using the Fox app. It's a one stop shop of everything news. I looked up MSNBC & CNN and they ought to be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely no ethics or morals. Most articles are opinionated and not factual. Absolute disgrace to the reporting world. Thank you FOX NEWS for being Trust Worthy, All American, Accurate and Unbiased. The only Con is with the app programming. When you get an alert for breaking news it does not take you to that report. You must search for it & sometimes I never find it. The only other annoyance is the proofreading, or lack there of. Articles are not given a once over before posting it on the app and obviously not looked at from the users point of view. It takes an intern an hour a day to read everything on the feed and to flag or correct mistakes. Other than that small hiccup, this app and its program is flawless! Keep up the good work FOX NEWS!

Thank you FOX News. I have 12 news apps on my phone and you are the most accurate of them all. I'm poor, unemployed, have a child out of wedlock, no health insurance, covered in tattoos, been to jail numerous times. I should be a democrat by my circumstances but, my life is the way it is because of poor decisions I made in life. I'm suffering the consequences and I'm not blaming anyone. You guys let me understand the truth. When watching other news outlets, I feel like a victim and that I'm owed something. I'm not owed anything except a safe country to live in and I think the rest is up to me to take care of myself. Thank you for letting me know that I'm actually very blessed to be in a country where I can be gay, practice any religion, vote for my leaders, choose my career, get government assistance, say (almost) anything as long as I don't offend a college student and be FREE. If you have a news letter, sign me up.

Excessive “breaking news"

Version 2.2.1
This app is pretty good overall — gives you well formatted access to information on the FoxNews website. The only downside that I can see to this app is how much stuff FoxNews classifies as “breaking news”, resulting in a pop-up on your phone and notifications, which get to be excessive at times.
For instance, this is the week that the Pope is visiting America, and although it was planned and has been known he was coming for a year or more, FoxNews is putting out breaking news updates for every mundane movement the Pope makes (e.g., “Pope about to arrive at Andrews AFB”, “Pope arrives at Andrews AFB”, “Pope greets POTUS”, “Pope arrives at White House”, etc.). I would like get notifications for things that are unexpected and significant — the Pope arrival is probably enough. People that want to track every movement of the Pope thereafter can get Twitter for the rest. I don’t need to get an alert for the Pope’s breakfast selection.
You can turn off the notifications in your settings app, but within the settings of the app itself, the “breaking news” alerts button does not allow it to be deactivated.

Great App! Accurate information.

Version 2.2.1
I am very conservative, but I enjoy how Fox News maintains balance, even In the opinion sections. They allow us to get both sides of the arguments. Despite the criticism from many, I find that Megan Kelly asked fair questions during the first republican debate. Anyone who disagrees, is expecting Fox News to do what MSNBC and CNN do to the left. "Fair and balanced" means asking tough questions to everyone on every end of the political spectrum. If you don't want honest coverage and you expect Fox News to give the right a free pass and bash democrats all day, you can find other apps that write false articles with misleading headlines and ask for money by spamming your emails.
Fox is the number one name in news for a reason. They are fair and accurate. They aren't puppets to any political party, as most other media outlets are.
As far as function, the app is functional. However it would be great if Fox offered a monthly streaming fee instead of forcing one to have to login to the cable subscriber. I pay $100 in cable a month and I never even switch channels. I keep it on 24/7 I'd rather give that money to the channel I watch than Comcast and it's customer "disservice".

Version 2.1.4
I like it because it isn't YES news. Because it is real and doesn't need fluff. Because it is balanced and not biased. Because it doesn't want to lead you by the nose, it wants to inform you so you have information to choose!
If you don't like that about this news then you must be enjoying the others.
When you are suffocating, Fox News will be reporting on the cause of your suffocation. Not some fluff piece. Or some excuse as to why they never knew about your so called demise for listening to them.
The fact that they are made fun of and run into the ground by so many loud mouth liberals and ridiculous excuses for public entertainment is proof they stick to the facts. Facts can't be reputed, so they attack and call names because they aren't intelligent enough to make their own choices. They don't want others to either. It's hard being in the dark, especially when the light reveals your deceit.

Mostly "Fair and balanced" :-). Multiple channels have obvious liberal perspectives, however, FOX News illustrates they are the most "fair and balanced" in terms of their overall reporting perspectives. They are not unreasonably "extreme" in their views, regardless of what liberals would suggest. Unfortunately, a typical "liberal", would consider anything inconsistent with their party's views, to be unacceptable and radically conservative. In summation; none of them are perfect if you have an "open mind" and a clear/mature perspective in terms of the media, however, the evidence strongly shows the Fox news Channel is consistently the most professional and consistent in their perspective business'. This demonstrates, at least at some reasonable level, impartiality when reporting news and engaged in commentary. More than most basically. It's clearly not perfect, agreed, but mostly they (Fox news) do it with less personal emotion and less questionable ethics.

Version 2.1.2
I appreciate the accessibility and simplification that this app seeks to provide, however there is much to be desired. With Fox News being the juggernaut it is there should be some accountability, so I'm hoping to reach someone. While I may save time in the process of getting the news I prefer it becomes mired in the uncountable glitches that come about in getting that news. In other words, the "ease" with which I expect to get from such an app becomes moot. When tiny things, such as (barely) touching the screen in the wrong spot accidentally (which ALWAYS seems to be the wrong spot) takes me to a webpage, and diverts me from what I was doing so often that I scream, it begins to take the ease and fun out of it. And when the app will not open after repeated tries, after turning the phone off then back on and after deleting the app and then reinstalling it and it still will not work all "ease of use" and any other "app" jargon goes out the door. I've given Fox the benefit of the the doubt for far too long. But after this long someone should've given the IT guys the yellow light. I'd still use the app if I could (and yes I am running the current iOS with an iPhone 6), but it won't open. So, patch the bugs and I'll consider re-downloading this app. Until then I guess I'll have to turn on my TV. Or try MSNBC.

Organization could be a little easier.

I’m a little new to the fox news world however I really like this app. It seems easy and straightforward as far as I can tell. I only wish that the main page was really only composed of “Latest News”, instead of having “Latest News” then “Features and Faces”, and then back to “Latest News” again. I think that could be better organized
I also don’t like that when you first scroll down it partially opens an article to get you to see more of it. I would rather I could just scroll down normally and choose which article I wish to read. I also get asked to send a review every other time I open the app, and I probably open it 5 times a day.
I love the “breaking news” feature, I have it set to display a banner at the top of my phone when something relevant happens. I am able to see something important or interesting right away in a subtle way. I like how I can watch videos and continue to read other articles on one screen, as the video goes to the top half of the screen and I can continue to search and scroll around for other topics or issues on the bottom half. But over all the app runs smoothly and has good material to look at.

FOX may be right wing/conservative biased, but it NOT as far right as MSMBC is far left! Their news reporting is excellent and unbiased. The don't cover a story ad nauseam like CNN. Their editorial shows are conservative politically, but even then they will often present an opposing viewpoint. Let the viewers decide, it is one of the most popular cable news outlets! People are smarter than the left leaning network news outlets believe and this is why FOX is so popular. When I see liberal posts on here complaining that FOX is "garbage" or "rots your brain," I think they are really saying "these people don't think the way I do, so they are stupid." Rather than make an intelligent counterpoint, they just rail against it. If you want reporting that is unbiased and then want a conservative view editorial watch FOX. I switch over to MSMBC all the time to get an opposing view. I don't see the same "balance" that FOX has, not even close!

Fox gives the honest news and let's the viewer decide based on there belief which way to handle the information they give. The other news outlet only give you there side of the truth. If u can't handle the real news then change the channel. However I will feel sorry that you will never really know the truth and what is going on in the world, but if that helps you sleep at night then go into your own little world and sweet dreams. I want the real news so I will continue to watch the real news on Fox News. Thank Fox News for giving us the truth and giving us breaking news so fast and true. First off, I am conservative/libertarian, and I like the fact that Fox reports what most of the liberal media doesn't. But what I don't like is that in stories like Ray Rice, everyone gets so upset and fired up about him beating up a girl, and they should...but if the genders were reversed, and she beat HIM almost unconscious, it wouldn't have made it past local news. If a woman assaults a man, people laugh or assume he deserved it. Most domestic violence on the news (the entire media) is about men. But it's a little known fact that 54% of child abuse, and 40% of violent abuse in a relationship is from women. (That number is thought to be much higher because men usually don't report something that would make them look weak.) Same kind of deal with black-on-white violence. None of the white people killed by blacks get any coverage or outrage from the press.
That's just something Fox could do to further differentiate yourselves from the mainstream liberal media, cause you know for sure THEY wouldn't report it.

Used to be my favorite news app--when I could rapidly scroll through the lists and read what I want. Now with the "upgrade," when you "pull" in attempt to get past the annoying stories Fox "thinks" are of prime interest, the story "snags" and you can't bypass it without a useless 2 swipe pause. What makes it worse is that they utilize the age-old and much hated "pop-up" technique to keep pestering the reader with 2 worthless choice options to evaluate the reader's opinion on the app which are "love it" or "needs work." I'm done answering because after 3 times answering how awful the changes are, nothing changes, and they keep sending the pop-up, further interfering with actually reading the news--apparently the pestering continues until you click "love it?!" Unfortunately, though I prefer Fox as my news source, the inefficiency of this app forces me to use other news apps as my primary news source when I am using mobile technology. I'll check again in a few months. Let's hope I'm still a conservative by then.

News is news and today's climate you have to take everything with a grain of salt. However, I like being able to hear different takes or views and check different sides of a story.
The old adage; there's three sides to every story: "your side my side and the truth" holds true even when reporting the news. Therefore I value the input of all views before accepting what is reported. Fox News gives me that option. Since for the most part the other biggies all say the same thing...
I was told I am wasting my time by a Fox News basher, I rather know and decide for myself rather than take the word of anyone. If I can't balance what everyone else is saying with another view then I would rather not hear it at all. Because anything I cannot check I cannot trust. Human beings are not infallible, and even though reporters are expected to be unbiased any person can see that snide remarks and opinions on the part of a reporter is by definition a bias, and as human beings we are all biased because we all have opinions. Reporting is not sharing of opinions it is supposed to be a record or recording. An explanation of what took place where we could not attend or be present.
Thank you Fox News for providing another view point or angle for me to explore.

I had to delete this app from my phone. Since The last upgrade, each time I use the app, I am asked if it is great or needs more work. When I say it needs more work, it then requests a valid email account, which it continues to refuse to accept. I use gmail. Have for years. After several weeks of this, I am frustrated and annoyed. So I deleted this app. My problem with the upgrade originally was that there are way too many embedded links in every article. For those of us who use iPhones, we end up going to places that we never intended. We just want to read the article, not every link! Anyway, since it would appear that Fox News has decided to only accept the choice of it being a "great app" and refuses to accept the alternative of "needs more work", I find that so annoying and unethical that I have deleted this app completely from my phone. I have been a Fox News reader for years, but I am sad to learn that Fox News manipulates their app ratings in this manner.

I have an iPhone 4S. Love the new outline. Love the breaking news on the top half of the home screen. However,it is still in need of some work! The bottom cluster of the "other" news I feel should be organized on the home screen, not just the side bar option of categorizing. Organization on the home screen can start by separating US news from World news. Also a HUGE pet peeve of mine ever since the iso 7 update: after selecting to read a news story, while scrolling down and reading through the news story, the app will just randomly take me back to the top of the story page. Frustrating when its one of the longer news pages. One more thing to add, the ads on the homepage in between the breaking news and other news, shouldn't be placed there. I have found myself accidentally clicking on them when scrolling down to the other news. Other than that, it looks good!

Simple app that delivers the news. Missing 1 star due to periodic crashes and minor bugs.
For a great laugh, take time to read the app's review titled The Howard Stern Of News.
In semi-serious rebuttal to that review and several other slanderous reviews of the network, Fox News is consistently rated as the most reliable and balanced source for news. Yes, biased more to the right, but provides intelligent guests and contributors that deliver counter perspectives that assure well rounded reporting. Fox has been continually proven to deliver the most airtime for left, right, liberal, and libertarian viewpoints. All search engines provide numerous polls and ratings performed by each political party, universities, and independent research companies including Gallup. This is alarming to the major networks, CNN, and closed minded folks that feel everyone else owes them something. Need proof? CNN ratings are the lowest among all news channels and the network news continually loses viewers as Fox viewership increases. Take the time to check my facts and recognize 2 opinions are always better than 1.

Version 1.3.20
Have continued to comment on the crazy lack of attention to editing in these stories. The spelling and grammatical errors are just absurd. Or perhaps this has simply become acceptable journalistic practice in the age of texting and tweeting...?
It's becoming more and more apparent that the app is an afterthought to Fox News, based on the lack of attention paid to the writing and editing (my comments below began months, if not years, ago). I continue to find it astonishing that a news organization of this level seemingly has so little regard for proof reading. In this morning's edition alone, I found spelling errors (in the Zimmerman juror story), conflicting facts (in the story on the Ethiopian runner who died...did she have a husband or a boyfriend?), and misleading headlines (in the story on the body painting ordinance). At least the issue with quotation marks seems to have been rectified. Get your act together, Fox News.
News content and functionality are fine...but why in the world the stories tend to be completely devoid of quotation marks when quoting someone is beyond me. Is this just a technical glitch of some sort? Or did Fox hire a data entry person with no command of punctuation? I'm finding it hard to believe that professional journalists working for Fox are actually writing this way...it makes the stories look like they were written by high school students who skipped some English classes.

FUNCTIONAL and FANTASTIC

UPDATE: I love this app more than ever but I'm frustrated that the radio feature crashes so much, I sure wish they'd fix that...(at least it doesn't play Alan Combs for six hours every day anymore!) Support tab took me to the website but didn't offer anyway to contact about glitch so I'm hoping that this works.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love this app because I can watch videos from Hannity and O'Reilly shows later when I work late. And I can watch videos of shows I don't normally get to watch!
I LOVE Megyn Kelly, great reporting!!! And Dana Perino, keep it up, there's no shame in being innocent!!! And Kimberly Guilfoyle, she's so cute when she dances in her chair!!! And Hannity gives excellent reporting!!!
Once in a while the app crashes but I just close the program and reopen and works fine. I really enjoyed the Fox Radio function until I learned that Alan Combs is on SIX HOURS every DAY!!! (I just can't stomach his opinions...raises my blood pressure!) Thank you for the great app and all of the improvements!
This is my fair review
Version 1.3.7
The app itself is well done. Everything is organized so it is easy to find. My two complaints involve the two things I would like to use most, but don't because they are flawed.
1) I used listen to Fox News via this app, but any time I got a phone call, I would lose the radio feed and it wouldn't continue playing, even if I pushed play through the app. I had to actually close out of the app completely and then restart it for it to work again. I got so tired of doing that while in rush hour because of the danger that I had to find a more reliable streaming app.
2) The app can send you push notifications on breaking news, which is a great feature, except that when you swipe the notification to go to it, there is no information about it on the app, so I literally get the headline on the notification and then I have to search the Internet to learn more.
I have already deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if that fixes the problem, but it doesn't. I still use the app to check on news, for second and third opinions on what CNN and Washington Post write, but other than that, I don't use the app much at all until they fix those problems.
I have the app 3 stars because it's reliable in every other way. The news is up to date, the video stream of Fox News is good, and overall, the app has good potential! I just hope they read some of the more honest and fair reviews and fix the problems.
Great App
Version 1.3.7
This is one of my favorite Apps for news. It has a good UI and access to Fox News Programs like Hannity, The O'Reilly Factor, etc. Also it is optimized for The iPhone 5. :)
Things I would like to see added (Would make my review 5 Stars)
- Please add for video streaming to Apple TV when The iPhone &iPad is sleeping or when leaving Fox News App. I would like to watch Fox News videos on my Apple TV while checking my email, browsing the web on my iPad. Currently you cant do that... the moment you leave the App the video stops streaming :(
- Notification Alert link. When I get a Fox News Alert in my Notification Center... I tap it and it takes me to The Fox News App Main Screen but not the news story I wanted. I have to search for the new story that it sent me a alert about. I would like to just tap the news alert and go straight to the article.
- Please add live streaming to The Fox News Channel. Currently you could only watch that channel if you have a cable provider. I dont. Most people are switching away from cable. This is the next revolution ( similar to the way The iPhone revolutionized Cell Phones). In fact HBO is going to allow people to access all their shows and movies, even if they dont subscribe to a cable provider.
The biggest thing for me though is The Video Streaming To Apple TV when The iPhone or iPad is sleeping or in another App.
Thanks Fox News
Version 1.2.2
If you want news of any sort, the Fox News app is the one to get. It covers several news categories so you can find the news you want to read. It is more conservative based, but there are viewpoints from multiple sides and it usually reports the news as is without political viewpoints, except in the "Politics" category.
I've read a lot of comments saying that Fox News is biased and is that rarely true. It is the "only" news outlet that leans right, while there are several that lean left: MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc. I know a lot of left leaning people that choose Fox News because is less biased than the three left-leaning news outlets. Fox News is also the leading cable news source because people truly believe it is the best. However, if you prefer the three left-leaning sources, then go ahead and watch or read them, but don't try to smudge the comments page with "biased, inaccurate, not trustable, etc" when the news Fox reports is usually the same news everyone else reports as well. Be fair.
Used to be great, then they messed it up.
This was my favorite must-read-first app. Then, they started inserting a small bar car-ad exactly where your thumb would go to scoll down the screen. Now I understand they need to make money. It is a business after all, but they have turned a good thing into a less than desireable news reader. Even after a month of using it everyday it is still a pain to try to scroll down without triggering the ad which will pop up and fill the screen. Sometimes the app will close while trying to scroll while avoiding the ad.
One more little quirk. It might not be their fault but when there is a picture available to magnify, when you tap it, it will enlarge only for a second. If you really want to see the enlarged pic you will have to tap it over and over trying to get it to stay enlarged. Finally, after about a dozen attempts you MIGHT succeed, or maybe not.
I'm sorry to say that even though I'm a fan of Fox News, it's a whole lot easier to use the Drudge Report app which is now my favorite source for news.
It's not that bad
So I heard many ppl said Fox News lies and bias in their news. I haven't read FN or watch it before, but now I do, and I don't see anything bias or faux here. All they do were just stating facts I see no opinions or anything unless you go to the opinions sections. Even the controversy Obamacare Fox News stated clearly what he has tried to do to improve the healthcare, instead of bashing him like I expected. So where is the bias news like what people said plz show me I don't see any.
Also I noticed ppl didn't hate on FN that much before Obama himself said that FN is bias because it said stuff against him. That made me put a question mark on our president since this is the first time I have seen the president personally attack a news channel. But when I read their news it's totally normal and merely informative. Maybe FN isn't bias. Maybe those who blindly against it just because the president told you to do so are the real bias ppl.
Fox news is amazing.
To liberals who are claiming to be moderate, and twisting the real facts just to make this app look bad, can you answer this please?? Why was fox news rated the most fair and balanced news network during 2008 election coverage?? Yeah I thought so, never mind..,lol. if you liberals have anything better to do, rather than scare people off by spreading your lies and dishonesty, SERIOUSLY, jump off the river, this world would be in a much better place. Liberals never had any solutions to our nations crisis than wish death upon Hannity, Beck, while Olberclown, and Chris Matthews have berated Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, and Meghan McCain for years now. Did you all forget that you bast***ds. This Fox news app is solid guys, fair and balanced unlike Obamas right arm Bsnbc, Clinton News Network, or Katie Courics losing network Cbs. Plus it's free unlike the communist news network who just recently lost a life long democratic commentator Campbell Brown due to lack of viewers, lol, along with another liberal clown Larry Queen.
Liberals...
I wanted to read reviews before getting this app. I read many reviews that said "this is so bias" or "it says fiar and ballanced which isnt true". So when I downloaded this app I was on the look out for bias material under the news section. After reading a few articles I saw no mention of Democrats or Obama, or hardly a mention of politics. I just read reportings of the days top stories. I finally saw a report titled "Latest effort to stop oil leak hits snag" and though that there surely had to be politics in this article. I was correct. The article referenced Obama and congress. However I was shocked at what the report said. I was expecting total bias but they seemed to make obama look good. They quoted obama saying that people need to stop pointing fingers, accept the blame, and get it cleaned up. They quoted Obama saying that both the federal government and companies were to blame. I supose that this is the accused bias. However if you ask me liberals are too touchy. I thought this made Obama look better. He came off to me as a mature and respectable man who doesnt want to pass the blame and just getthings done.
I concluded that the only real bias of Fox News is in the opinion section. Which of course there will be bias. What are they supposed to not give their opinions in the opinion section? They NEWS section is a great source of unbiased news. Liberals need to learn the difference in te news section of fox and the opinion section. Great job Fox.
It's funny how everyone complains about how one sided fox news is god forbid us right wingers get one network that tells it how it really is. Because I know I can't watch CNN NBC or any other news for that matter without hearing about how good that joke Obama is doin for our country. The fact that our debt has gotten substatially worse in the whole year and a half hes been in office and that it's goin to continue to get worse with the major spending he wants to do. people voted for him because he was gonna lower taxes and do all these things for them how do you think he's gonna get the money for all these projects he wants to do oh wait I know by inforcing higher taxes. People need to get a clue what he's doin to our country is why we had a revolutionary war back in the 1700 hundreds. Socialism has never worked for anyone what makes him think it's gonna work for us. And for all people who say it's not a socialist gov't your wrong. They have the house the senate and the courts and has bought the banks, car companys, and many other things and now they have complete control on how that company is ran gov't shouldn't have that type of powers thats called socialism.
This is a very good app. I have found a few scenarios where it behaves poorly though. For instance, when reading an article, if I turn the phone sideways to get the video, it just stalls. I see the busy wheel in the middle of the screen and that is about it. I can't go back to the article and I can't exit video mode. When in this state, if I exit the app and then restart it all I get is a bluish screen with the Fox logo in the middle. I have to reboot the phone to get the app to work again which is unacceptable. I am using the phone in an area with very strong wifi when this issue occurs. I do not have any issues viewing videos when using the video menu at the bottom of the screen. In fact, videos load quickly and run without issue when I use the video menu.
All-in-all I think this is a very good, extremely well designed app. Except for the issue mentioned above, it runs quickly and without error. I would definitely recommend.
