Cube Time Management
Looking for an alternative to my Excel-based matrices, I tried other apps and settled on Cube. I use it for personal time management and analysis of billable and non-billable hours in a hierarchy of task, project, and client. The app met my two basic requirements: (1) the app combines the detailed input possibilities I need with the flexibility to label and categorize time usage in a context that reflects the way I work, and (2) I needed an app that syncs among my multiple devices when a connection is available, but one that is not desktop or internet dependent. Cube can stand alone. It's adaptability and attention to details makes it a bit complex (there are a lot of parts to it), but after you learn the user interface, you have a superior analytical tool. During a sync problem caused by my incorrect use of the sync function, customer support by email was immediate, helpful, and thorough. For me this app is a bargain, improves my time tracking, and is fun to use. No app is perfect, but Cube deserves a 5-star rating.

I'm new to using this app and early awkwardness has given way to a very useful tool. Sergio, with the Support Team, has been very responsive, patient and responsive! So far......a great tool!

Cube Pro
I have been using this app for almost a year. Works great but, unless you pay the monthly fee there is no good way to back up your data. I just lost a whole year and can't get it back without doing a complete system restore.
I wouldn't recommend this app unless you are willing to pay the $6 a month or so for sync. I have found another time tracker that syncs out of the box with no additional monthly charges. I'll be using it starting today.

Great app with great support!
I got the free app and have since upgraded. It is easy to use and love being able to see the data so easily. I ran into a problem with my email( no fault of the app) and fear all my data was lost. The support team were so helpful and in a short time I had all my data. I think the support that goes along with the app is just as important and they have won me over!

Don't waste your time and money!
I took and wasted hours entering data and it was lost. I was going to buy the $9+ version. My guess is there would have been countless minor updates based on just-found bugs - and we would have to pay for these updates to guarantee any support. Nice scheme, guys! Could I select zero stars?

Addon cost
They added expense report attachments to the new version. This was my main reason for upgrading but they charge per attachment. Want to save 20 receipts=$2.00. Just wasted 10 bucks thinking that what I was paying for.

I have tried different types of time tracker and task to do apps. This is the best in terms of its integration and ease of using.

I think that this is a solid application. I am toying with the idea of buying the Cube Time & Expense Tracker Pro.
Why am I having reservations?
Because the cost of synchronization for the everywhere is far too high. I would be willing to pay maybe $20/year or some kind of lifetime fee, but $8.99/mo?
That's a bit much.

Solid App, room for improvement.
Don't pay too much attention to the negative feedback. Most of them are from users that clearly shouldn't own an iPad in the first place.
I am new to this App, and never saw a versions prior to 2.0, but I've been using it a lot the last week or so, and this is exactly what I was looking for. The - subscription based - Cloud service is GREAT, the one feature that sold me - enter your time at work, and send your timesheet when you get home from your browser/iDevice/Andriod. It has a lot of customization built into it, and many options, which combined give you plenty of room to tailor it exactly to what your needs are.
This is a solid App, with a easy to use UI and few limitations on how to use it. My only issue with this App - issue that I already got in touch with their support team (and got a concise, but prompt response), is the fact that this App has no built in Invoice generation system. It does have a great reporting system, but invoicing is not included in the options. Further more, all references to monetary amounts are labeled as "Income", which renders the report useless for invoicing purposes. Should the option be there for those fields to be labeled simply as "Amount", those report could potentially work as Invoices. I hope they fix this soon, as I am not going anywhere.

Great app and company
This is extremely useful. I use it daily and my clients benefit from the reporting, so do I. They listen to users and are very responsive. If I would make a request it is for a bit more tutorial information, but the app is Intuitive so it didn't stop me from jumping and getting e results I needed.

Great app but...
This is a great app for tracking my hours, but I wish there was a button to push the sync data to the cloud. The changes in the iPad won't show up in the web account until the program decides by itself to sync. Any other app that has cloud sync also has a sync button.

Good App - Wish that it worked more like the web site.
This is a great application for tracking you time and clients. My only wish is that it worked a lot more like the web app. I like in the web app where I can drill down into each task and project just by click on the graphic.
It would also be nice if you could add time with the timer like you can in the web app.

Excellent App
This a very good app and most importantly their support is first rate. One thing I will say is the business model for this app is for a user to use from multiple devices or from the web. As such, if you use it with cloud sync you will be able to do this but after the trial cloud sync period ends, you will be required to purchase the minimum 5.99/mo subscription. With that being said, this is one of those apps that I have on my main task bar to access at any time.

Ok I liked the way the free version was to interact with so I bought the full version.
It's simple to keep track of hours and expenses and very useful for me as I need to turn in a detailed time sheet for my job.
The things I wish it had available are either there and I am unable to find them, or missing.
I would like to be able to add a company logo or change the layout of the .PDF it generates in reports, but the default looks good too.
I can't seem to track milage. It would be nice if it could use the gps to do that.
All in all I like using the app and like that I can edit many of the entries on the fly.
It's also good to be able to access from a PC for when my iPad is at home.
Overall I will keep using this to track my hours.

Can't do much - Demo version, not free...
You really can't test drive this app without upgrading to the pro version. Most of the features, if not all, are not accessible unless you buy the app. There are other apps out there you can try with all features working to truly test the app.

I purchased this app just after it's first release and, while valuable, found that it was difficult to use. Since the first release, they have updated several times each with significant new capabilities added that proves the developers are listening to the users and sculpting the tool to be what WE want instead of what they THINK we should have. Recent developments include a task timer that allows you to begin working on a task and start/stop a timer to calculate the time worked.
While there is room for more improvements, I would consider this a very valuable app and one I use more than any app on my iPad. The only improvement I would like to see soon is a daily rollup of time on the main screen. Currently, it only shows a rollup of time monthly. But for end-of-day time reporting in the employer's official time system, I need to see what I worked for that particular day without creating a bar chart and clicking each respective area of the chart to get the values.
I'm excited to see where the developers take this app next!

So much more room for perfection!
I really like this app. It's a little hard to understand at first but once you get it it gets so much better. I would suggest that there be an option to submit/email times and expense via email by time frame. This would greatly be appreciated.. Instead, I have to track everything and then put in onto another sheet to submit to payroll. I would also like to be able to choose what to export instead of have everything on one sheet.
There is so much room to make this app a huge success for the business owner or traveling employee. The graphics and chArts are beautiful definitely easy to understand.
Can't wait to see the changes. One other question is that i purchased this app but noticed that there is a pro for the same price. Is this the same or did I get ripped off? I would've gotten the pro unless they're the same thing

Not quite sure why I was being asked for my Google/GMail info just to try this app. This app may be free, but my privacy is not. I do not know who these guys are and what and why they need my Google info, so I deleted them right off my iPad.

Second "free for a limited time" means that after a month there's a monthly fee to use it. Um, no. The description should say that.

Keeps ur email and no opt out
This application does what it says. To cancel and close the account you have to log into the website. But the emails keep coming. You become subscibed to their email even though u didn't opt in. I hate getting unsubscribed emails in my junk free google account. I suggest if you really want to try it that you create a fake gmail.

Suits My Needs Perfectly
Keeping in mind that this is version 1.0.0 and is free, this is a very usable app. I spend my day performing a variety of tasks (designing, developing, phone calls, meetings, etc.) Cube lets me very quickly assign time throughout the day.
The only limitation that I've run into is the case where I don't have an Internet connection. So if you don't have a 3G iPad and aren't within range of a hot-spot, you can't enter time. However, they are working on adding a feature, to a future release, that would store entries and reconcile them the next time a connection is available. So that's in the works.
Of course, I can think of probably a dozen other features that would be great for me. But overall, for a first release, it suits my needs perfectly.

Proj Manager
I've just downloaded it. This is a simple straight forward no frills project time and cost tracker. It does not seem to have pre established This is the first App I found to meet my need as a consultant. It allows me the ability to track time and expenses by project and task. Getpaid is the next runner up except it does not track expenses and I could not enter time without having to use start and end time. I would like to suggest adding 1. Pass Code feature 2. the ability to export as email cvs or pdf using email 3. the ability to take pictures ot the receipts and link them to the expense entry.
