*Alto and Tenor Saxophone altissimo fingerings are supplied by Steve Moran - visit his YouTube channel to hear them played: www.youtube.com/melodistman
*Treble clef on the brass instruments follow British Band tradition of being in transposing notation for non-transposing instruments.
Affects Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone and BBb, Eb & F Tubas.
Directions:
Simply touch and drag up and down on the staff to select the note, slide right for sharp, left for flat, or slide up and down near either edge for constant sharps or flats.
When playing the keyboard; swipe to move the keyboard, tap to play notes, touch & hold then slide to glissando. When you glissando up, notes will be notated in sharps, when you glissando down, notes will be notated in flats. When you tap specific notes they will be notated in the most common accidental for that note. ie: Eb rather than D#, F# rather than Gb.
If there are alternate fingerings available for a note or trill, a button will allow you to navigate through them.
It includes a mute button as well as a step controller to move chromatically up and down without touching the music staff or piano keyboard.

Da Best

Great app. Accurate. I teach instrumental music in Jr. High and High School. I use it regularly every year. Shows alternate fingerings and trills. When students see the app, they want to download it for themselves as well.

Good app

Needs to have an option to see their pitch rather than the default concert pitch. Include more alternate fingerings for woodwinds as well. With those options I would rate it 5 stars.

Awesome and Very Useful!!!

This app is awesome and very useful. Here's what will make this a five star app. As a band director myself, there are some alternate fingerings that are missing. For example, for trumpet...4th space E (concert D), there's an alternate fingering for that note and that is 1st and 2nd valve. Also...4th space Eb (Concert Db) can also be played as 2nd & 3rd valve. It doesn't show that. Another example, the flute fingering for Bb, there are 3 different fingerings for that note and it only shows the main fingering. I'm sure these are not the only ones missing. Fix this and I'll give it 5 stars.

Awesome update

Adding the mute button and fully supporting the Tenor and Bass trombone (accurately I may add!) are great changes from a responsive developer. This is now my go to app for fingering. Thanks!

Great app

Excellent app! Fingerings for the clarinet are great, especially for finding alternate fingerings. The most recent update makes finding chromatic fingerings much easier. Solid app all around.

Very Nice! (Update Suggestions)

This is a very good app! I would recommend changing the title "Concert" to "Sounds" or a combination of the two. Also, I would suggest adding the title, "Written" to the actual written notes being selected.
The Trombone needs a title change as well. The "Tenor/Bass Trombone" is, in my experience, an inaccurate name. It is a "Tenor Trombone". A Bass Trombone currently, has two valves (Typically set up as F/Gb/D, depending on the valve configuration).
All in all, this is the best fingering chart app I have seen so far.
Thank you!
