Description

1 or 2 players, rules enforced, pieces glide into position, no ads. Play checkers with a friend or play against one of 3 robot players on your choice of beautiful wood, metal or glass checkerboards. Pieces and squares subtly glow to show you all legal moves and pieces slide into position when released. Set your opponent to Easy, and even the youngest players can win. Tap the Settings button to make one side or the other a human player (or both), or just set both sides to robot players and watch the battle unfold.

Great, but...

Plays well...very well, but it gets boring after a few weeks. This was one of the first apps I got....more to test out for my dad. I hope they will make a checkers game that is a true multiplayer. ONLINE. The AI becomes pretty boring and EASY to beat. I want to play some of the other people who've purchased this app!

Looks nice, but too easy

Easy to beat even on advanced levels. Would be perfect if was harder.

Ive tried 4 other checkers apps on ipad, this is the one.

This is the one to get as of my review date (unless I missed an app to review). Computer AI is half decent. Graphics are awesome. My only request would be to maybe add a few more boards or checkers colors, and maybe keep stats when I win (it just says "you win!").

Best ipad checkers app so far!

This is the best checkers app i have seen for the iPad so far. Great game play, very intuitive feel and i like to watch the computer play itself. Nice feature. The only thing missing is online head to head but this game is great as it is, especially since it is free.

I tried other checkers apps and this one is my favorite. It's nice to have the option to play against the computer.

Very nice job.

This is an excellent checkers app for the iPad and made it to the first page of my iPad games. The app has a polished feel and good mechanics. The pieces especially look very 3D realistic. The developer is fantastic with support as well, incorporating all my suggestions in the first point update. I would highly recommend this app and hope they make more board games very soon. Thumbs up!
