One should not have to pay for this over and over again on iPad 3. Works for a while then you can ONLY get icons. Sound works intermittently. if you keep repaying for it, it looks great ... But, we ARE buying and not renting I should think.

Love It!

Works perfect with Apple TV or on the iPad. The sound is

authentic, it sounds just like a wood fire. It looks like real wood burning and the candles, just great!

AirPlay Error

Love the app. But... In AirPlay mode, if you screen off the iPad the video stops playing... AirPlay supposed to stay on in the background if the unit is in screen off mode. Fix this and it will be a 5 star app.

UPDATED, the staff behind the app were very helpful when the app wasn't working for me correctly. They responded within a day. Turns out it was a network connection issue. Very happy with product thus far.

Beautiful

I downloaded as a joke for our "romantic" evening. But as it played, we found the crackling sounds soothing and it's beautiful. My favorite, though, is the candle set. It's so pretty. I just leave it sitting on the bookshelf all pretty while it's charging :-)

The image of the fireplace isn't very attractive, I believe it needs to be worked. Also, it doesn't have the option to play continuously.

Nice, but doesn't work on ipod touch 2nd gen

Works great on 4th gen touch. Streams to apple tv. 2nd gen touch gives blank screen with sound. Please fix.

Terrific!

Worked flawlessly the first time out with my Apple TV. Love the mood it creates. Just wish it had a Christmas theme. For our Christmas party, I would leave it on all nigth with Christmas music playing in the background ...I still could I guess.

Revised Don't waste your time or money

Great app, it was my apple tv box that needed updating.

Works great just as described and plays the music I pick.

Sorry about bad review when it was my own equipment problem.

Doesn't work with apple tv. Sound problems...says AirPlay speakers in use by another user. I am the only user..BAD

Audio portion quits unexpectedly

This looks really great on my new iPhone, and I liked the fact that I was able to choose songs to play in the background - but all of a sudden I lost audio after about 20 minutes. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked perfectly for about 20 minutes and now all I get is silence. If this were fixed I would give it 4 stars.

Airplay does not work for me

I'm on iOS5 too. Great idea but poorly executed. I suppose doing airplay for these flames isn't worth it anyways, as it's too close up, so not enough to give a good ambience. My search for a decent fireplace app continues.

OMG I figured out how to correct the blackened screen

Do a pinch screen to dim or brighten the fires! Kinda play with it you'll see.

Until an update is posted to fix this app Do Not buy this app. Deny this company any revenue from an app known to fail.
