Would be better if.....
I like this app a lot and I'm excited to use it in my classroom. I do think it would be better if in the recipe section the ingredients had to be put in to the bowl in the order that they are listed, to encourage sequencing and reading. Also, the addition of matching measuring cups and spoons to the recipe amounts would be amazing. Overall, I like it a lot, but it has the potential to be my favorite app, with just a few changes. Oh, also, dump the 2014 cookie cutter and replace with updated year.

I have been playing this game for a long time. Remember in your older versions, you had orange instant cookie dough, then you changed it to pumpkin? Please re-add orange instant dough and the color slider! Otherwise I like this game a lot... It just needs these improvements

This game is really fun and Addictive all my siblings love the game too so if you have younger child he or she will love it hopefully if they like to design their own cookie or anything. I just wish that there was more labels of cookies so you have more to choose from and maybe a couple more cookie cutters and that you could make your own flavor of frosting so you could get more prizes from eating the cookie.

Super cute with lasting power
Something I'm realizing with more and more apps is they have a very short shelf life. Interesting for a few minutes but the options for variety are few. This one has lasting power. My 4-yr old and I come back to it again and again. That said, I'm excited for the possibilities for improvement. It could be so much more!

I lov that the cookies can com in different shapes and sizes. I also like that if u do not want to bake the recipe on your phone or iPod, u can just make it instant so u don't have make it and it is there for u to start cutting. I love how in the updates they make different cookie cutters so u can make lots of things. They also ad cutters that say 2013, 2014 ect. The best part is before u eat them you can put it in the fridge so that it will stay there forever. You can also make it into a puzzle and solve it! If they really like your cookie, they will give you a prize underneath it and when you eat it the prize will be reviled and it will automaticity will be put in your treasure chest. THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!

Fun game/limited as cookbook
Let me state at the outset that I enjoy this app very much. However, it would be nice if they would say what kind of cookies each recipe represents. For example I baked (in my actual kitchen mind you) the strawberry cookie recipe. I found however, that it was really much more of a biscuit recipe than a cookie recipe. I made wonderful strawberry biscuits. Some of the recipes are clearly drop cookie recipes while others cut-out cookie recipes but it would be nice to know for sure which ones are which. Actual baking instructions (i.e., "bake at 350 for 10 minutes) I don't need, but would be helpful to know whether I'm making cut-outs, drop-cookies, biscuits, or quick bread.

A few things you should change..
So far so good! So I think you should allow users of this app to be able to rotate photos or edit them.. Like drawing over it with different colors or add some effects to the photo such as (sepia, hue, mirror, Obama) and so on.. But I think you get where I am going! 😀 I hope I see this change in the next update! 😃 And I love this app and extremely recommend others to download this extraordinary app!! It is so fun! :)

Glitches, but fun
My kids love making cookies on this! However, we all get frequently frustrated with the glitches. Sometimes, cookie cutters carry over to the next cookie being decorated (example: the 2013 design appears while frosting a Christmas tree cookie). Another time, one decorated cookie kept saving itself over the next cookies being saved, ending up in an entire cookie jar of duplicated cookies. We like the new candy updates, but the program flaws still haunt this app.

My daughter loves this app.! Very worth getting
This is a very creative app.!!! Lots of wonderful decorations/ toppings, fun dough recipes, and cookie designs. My daughter, her friends and adults (me included) are so intrigued and she is enjoying this really excellent app.!! .. She is having fun with choosing and laying out table cloths and plates, or 'eating' the cookies and sometimes getting surprise prizes. Very worth the $.99! Thanks for the lovely innocent product!! I liked when the 3d icing was NOT realistic. It matched the cookie better. Can we have the option to use the old 3d icing? Or at least one with a smooth texture? I hate the texture, and the non-3d icing is no fun. By the way, I don't agree with the poster who said more cookies is better. I have two different cookie apps and use them for two different reasons. I use this one when I want the freedom to be creative with my icing. My kid also prefers this one.

Why? The icings aren't real! They are just colors! More cookies has many kinds of icing! Also the different kind of cookies all rise the same and have the same texture. I reccomend getting more cookies.

I have a strong concern...
I this app dont get me wrong, but today i tryed to cook the snickerdoodle recipe. It was 100% So i think you all should put the actual recipe and actual directions on how to make them or like me they try to cook the cookie and they turn into hockey pucks. So please consider this and please do something about this because people could play this and think they can make cookies then go to the trouble and waste ingredients and money. this app is awesome!! it somehow got deleted from my phone a while back and my 3yr. old kept asking for it until i got a chance to sync my phone. it is soooo entertaining for her as she loves all things cookie! i loooove all the updates for the different holidays as it keeps the game new and exciting for my daughter. this is by far one of the best .99 cents we've ever spent! it's also been great for teaching her hand eye coordination! i recommend this game to everyone i know!

Kept my daughter entertained for hours!
My 4 year old was completely enthralled with this, there are so many options and a lot of interaction with the app when putting the ingredients in (shaking it, etc.), lots of fun. She has helped me a lot in the kitchen in the past year and always wants to do all the pouring, all the mixing, all the decorations, so to be able to put together her own concoction at whim is a real treat. I've made a lot of cookies. I would like to see more cookie shapes. I think there should be a lion, giraffe, different birds, a whloe horse (there is a horse head shape). I would also like to see some snowflake sprinkles, in different colors. I like that you can put a photo in a cookie. Also, I think you should be able to save some cookies as your favorites, so that they don't get deleted. I wish you could have more then 16 cookies at a time in the app, but I save my cookies in photos. Over all, I think this app is well worth the money.

perfectly executed app
It's amazing how fun this app is. My kindergartener & her friends can play for hours. You get the whole easy-bake-oven kind of play with the add-the-ingredients screen, & you get the guided & free-form art kind of play with the cookie decoration screen. Then you get to eat the cookies! Of course, you also get to save your cookies for enjoying again later.

Great fun for kids
My six year old son loves this game and I was surprised by how often he likes to play it. It is a fun creative game with many nifty features.
However, when it upgraded from the Halloween to Thanksgiving edition the photo dough feature worked differently and started inserting dough borders around the photos. This is very frustrating to my son, who does not understand why his game started working differently. Please fix this feature so it works the same as before.
Even with this minor complaint, I would highly recommend this game for kids. My son plays nintendo and high action computer games regularly and is very entertained by this cookie game.

They also do a wonderful job in updating the app and adding features! Fantastic app, your kids will love it
My daughter just loves this app and you should have seen how excited she was to see there was a Halloween update. She'll play with this app for hours making cookies for everyone. I think we should be able to keep ALL our cookies. I made nine cookies and when I made the tenth, my very first cookie disappeared. And I can't find it any more. GREAT fun!
This app is one of my 4-year-old daughter's favorites! It kept her entertained for an HOUR while waiting, ironically, to get our AT&T service going so as to REALLY use the iPhone. She is not easily entertained! However, the multitude of cookie cutters, toppings and frostings have her hooked. You can save your cookie for later, or put it on a plate and tablecloth--which you can select. Great fun for us!

The good: you can use different flavors of cookies with the ready dough. You can make cool shapes it's really fun.
The bad: You can't make different flavors of dough the app has pretty unrealistic graphics and it can be hard to get the icing sprinkles candy etc. were you want them I suggest an eraser instead of just undo. If you really like this app you will enjoy more cupcakes by maverick software it is totally better.
I will say this the app inspired me to make some real cookies Yummy!!!!

Cookie Doodle is so much fun! Except for there are so many things you can do in the real world that you can't on here. Like you can take a green fruit tootsie roll and make a leaf...or cover a Twinkie in gray frosting to make a diving whale. Also, the undo button is hard to press, and I often find myself pressing it over and over quickly then undoing more than I mention. So it should also have a redo button. But other than that it is a very fun game!

This is a terrific little app! You get to make and decorate cookies (from rolling out the dough and picking the shape of the cookie to choosing from a huge selection of toppings), after which, you can eat them (by tapping on them to take a bite), save to your photo album, or e-mail to your friends. I've already sent several to my friends for their birthday! The customer service is also fantastic!

Super Game!
I've been watching this app for a while because it was so highly rated, but didn't think it would live up to the hype. I've been struggling to find a good coloring app where my son can finger trace the letters of the alphabet. Having been met with several failures and just needing something new along the coloring lines, I downloaded this one.
I am THRILLED! My 2.5 year old son can do everything on it. He was really excited to see "numinmums" (M&M's) in the candy selection. I'm excited because he can color shapes, trace the alphabet or numbers, and do all kinds of decorating.
The only challenge we have is starting a new cookie. After the cookie is eaten, I expected it would take you to a place to make a new cookie. Instead, my son hits the Ipod button and relaunches the app. No biggie.

This app is the BEST EVER!!!!!! I would give the developer a trillion stars if I could! Even my Autistic son can't put this down. I lost my oldest son July 25th 2009 and my Autistic son made an Angel cookie and added his brothers picture (this app lets you add photos) and said he was gonna email it to heaven, tears just flowing down his face . Now every morning he wants to make Pablo a cookie and has so much peace and happiness to make it with all the creativity the developer allowed in this app. Hugs to you for such a wonderful job and allowing my son to be sent an Angel Cookie that his Autistic brother enjoyed doing and it gave him a peace to be able to do that and through the tears a smile in his heart! Delicious, creative fun!
Me and my 4-year old daughter LOVE this app. Now we can make roll-out cookies any time we want without the mess! It let's her be as creative as she wants, and I don't have to clean up sprinkles off the floor! Piping tool is a little hard to use, since my finger doesn't always get it where I want it to go. Maybe on the edges of the cookie, it could "snap" to the edges and give you a really pretty outline? Thanks for a great app! Well worth the cost!

My daughter
This app is amazing. First, they have been releasing updates basically monthly, so there are always seasonal cookie cutters and candies. For my 5 year old, this is truly exciting. I love that it is a creative app that lets her do what she wants and isn't driven by competition. She "makes" cookies for people and then saves them to the cookie jar (which is new and I love) or we e-mail them to people. My 2 year old likes to "eat" the cookies. The munching sound is quite funny. It also gives us ideas for when we are actually baking cookies. :)

I loooooove Cookie Doodle but I think you could add a couple things:
you could make stencils for certain things. Like for example, a smiley face stencil. Also you could not make candy and sprinkles the only toppings. You could use more of the type of ones you used in Gel- Doodle.
I hope you use these ideas in the next updates and if you don't thank you anyways.

Amazing!!
I love this app!! But it would be even cooler if they had a cookie stamp. So like when you say have a cookie that looks like a rabbit and you stamp it with the rabbit stamp the picture design of a rabbit would pop out! And when you went to color it, you could color one the lines of the pop out or inside or outside the lines!! I think that would be cool.

Ideas and Great App
First of all, this game is awesome. I have some ideas to improve it, though. You could have a feature so we could make our own dough and bake it with different times so the look varies. Add more stuff to put on the cookies and more cutters. Add different plates and backgrounds for the eating cookie page so it matches the cookie's look! Anyway, great game! Keep it up!

Love it!
As a first grade teacher, I use my iTouch a lot for educational programs. I was amazed that my kids just love to play this simple game while waiting for their parents to pick them up. They sit patiently to wait their turns, looking over each other's shoulders. And because it doesn't require sound, it's quiet. So it's great for me at what can be a rough time of the day. It's amazing that they never get tired of this. Worth every penny of the 99 cents I paid!

Keep the updates coming!
My 4.5 year old twin boys and 2.5 yo daughter LOVE this, and love the updates. THe designers have been so responsive. We have had this since the very beginning, and it just keeps getting better. It is very simple for young kids to grasp, but with so many options keeps older kids entertained too. My 9year old niece emails her cookies to us regularly!
Only suggestion: when using the knife to cut cookie dough, would be great to be able to lift it and put back down, so you could make someone's initials or other designs that you can't do in just one continuous swipe.

Oh and in the mint cookie dough u shuld either put chocochips in it or make a separate mint chocolate chip cookie dough
Also u shuld create an app called donut doodle where u create ur own donut, u can put your own jelly in it, sprinkles, m&ms, other candies, marshmellows, cocochips, u can frost it too. Same concept as cookie and gello doodle

Updates and current update
I love this app!!!! It is so much fun! Maybe being able 2 customize the oven would be cool. Also, more updates and more toppings more often! After a while it can get boring with the same old stuff. Also, I excitedly downloaded the new update, but when I pressed it it just went back to the iPod home screen. Please fix this problem, as I have tried many times!!?

This app is awesome!!! It is so much Fun makin the cookies and really fun when they update it, and they do tht alot!! Me and my friends will sit there and make cookies for each other, haha!!
Some suggestions mite b, it would b cool to have an option of smaller or bigger cookie cutters and u could move them around. And to have like patterned icing, and picture icing. And to put some other colors for icing, like aqua, neon, magenta, light colors. Just like more options, cause the app is great otherwise

This is my FAVORITE app in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!! I you got to choose between owning all the money in the world or buying this app, buy the app!!!!!!!!!! It's amazing. Totally worth the money!!! I think it's worth more than the price. Buy it already!!!!!!!! I was a M&M for halloween so when they updated it I was sooooooooooooo excited. It's awesome.

PLEASE READ MY IDEAS ;)
This game is completly FABULOUS!! But I was playing and had a few ideas!! They are:
1) make a timer to see how fast you can eat the cookie and how many bites it took to eat it all
2) make cakes too! That probably is a separate game idea but as I said, these are suggestions!! But if u make a cake one you could have candles and flower icing desings.....(etc)
3) make a football cookie cutter! (wait do I already have that??)
4) make neon colors like: neon green and hot pink and etc.....
5) could you make it so we could personalize our ovens? You could make different colors for the ovens!
6) make letter cookie cutters! We could type our make and the game has the letters set out for us ;)
7) we should be able so time the cookies that way we could burn them and see smoke or have them undercooked and when we decorate it gets mushy and squishy!!!!

I loverhis game but here's sone suggestions!
Letter cutters, a person(like there outline) cutter, number cutters, a pineapple, banana, grapes!!, apple or peach, (since u hav a circle already) a triangle, square, a color wheel so u can choose from ALOT of different colors, make it look like the cookie actually baked, more dough like m and m and more toppings like peppermint patties, twizzlers, marshmellows, different styles of icing textures like on the edges of cakes like flowers, and a cake option, last but nit least let us mix together like, egg water milk flour sugar to make the dough thnks!!!!!!

Thanks for the update, but if you want some more 5 star ratings, you should use my suggestions. Every time I put to much stuff on, and I use the redo button, it only goes back a few steps. I think you should also add more types of cookie dough, like mnm cookie dough. And different frosting colors. You should also try to make a frosting shape, so we can make flowers and things. Please make a cake version!

I think we should be able to make the dough. I also think there should be letter cookie cutters!!! Last I think (in options) we should be able to choose whether or not we want to make more than one cookie!!!! I hope to see at least one of my suggestions in the next update (if there is a next one!)

This app is amazing. And thanks for the up dates. I love the knife which allows you to cut your own!! And I read someones review before me where you should make the cookies look like they have been baked... Or have a timer on the oven which let's you decide how long you want it in the oven and if you leave it in too long you'll burn it. And if its not to much to ask a red heart-shaped candie in the next update would be great. Thanks :) amazing app!

This game never crashes and always has nnew updates!
IDEAS: I want their to be a color wheel thing. For the frostin, just like more colors. Also, it would be cool if after you make the cookie and press ear, it does animations or sounds of your cookie. Then you eat it. One last thing, it woulddd be so cool if you could like personalize ur oven and rolling pin. Also. We should be able to decide how long we want to cook the cookie. Like it should sseriously look done after it comes out off the oven. Okay great game just add those ideAs and it'll be better!!

Awesome app!
This app provides hours of entertainment!! I love how you can make your own design, and that there are over 40 cookie cutter! I got this app before there was the knife tool and all the other stencils and it was just OK then, but its awesome!! The one thing that bugs me is the 3D icing. It looks uneven when you put it on, but thats just my opinion. Awesome app! Definetely worth it!
