I love this app so much you can do anything or any kind of animation you want though out the day!

Yet another review for this app. The app still functions well, probably the best animation app out there, but it still has the fee bugs I mentioned before. I'm worried about the future of this app Because it seems the developers gave up on it, which would be a shame if they did, because it's such a fine app and it would be a waste to give up on such a promising app. So I ask that you devs to please not give up on this app, and continue to support us who support you. Thanks!!

zooming in is SO HARD it keeps glitching and sliding away from the spot! And the bucket tool is messy and it closes your progress when you leave the app for just a second! Other than that it's okay :/

I freaking love this app!!! But the audio is rather glitching or no quality so please fix that. Thank you.

I use this app all the time. Can turn ideas into visions in minutes. Limitless potential. It would be cool to import sound files from itunes, and edit in the music portion; perhaps with a track of overdub.

Also the ability to copy/paste other animations into one file...or choose iterations...or import produced vids back into working project files. many are small loops. A little like Diptic's animation function...That said; it's still 5 star.

I love the free version of this app and it is AMAZING! I can't say the same for this one though. Unlike the free version this app doesn't fit the screen of my iPad mini. Why? Nobody knows. PLEASE fix this or my $3 will have been wasted. The rest of this app is great! (But not the screen size) PLEASE FIX

It could have a better audio...thing but besides that's it's great if you haven't already get it!!

I am 19 and have been using this for 5 years now. My first animation was published in 2012. My most popular one is known as "Firebending Ninjas" found in the Editor's Pick of the Cineverse. You can not only animate but DRAW people. I've managed to do several drawings of friends as well as stick animations. However, when logging into, it's impossible to log back in if you've forgotten your password after not logging in for 4-5 years. It would be an amazing option to add and a lifesaver from having to create a whole new account. Kinda one of those "this is her/his signature work" things. And an option to mirror when pasting would be an amazing and helpful addition!! Otherwise, continue the great work!

I downloaded this app a couple years ago and purchased the full version because I loved it that much to make animations in and I am so glad I did. I always use it for any animation project I can think of, It's the most spectacular animation app and I always look up to it as being the best one there is both in frame quality and animation speed and playback and in usefulness. I had problems rotating in the newer versions that I never had with the older 2013-2014 versions of the app though. I really have so much fun with looking at other projects in Cineverse too but have a lot of lag and crash problems using it in this app.

One of the most important and best things in the app is that it can work past 1000 frames and I use past that in every project. The fps is perfectly adjustable for audios that I record. I used to be able to upload from the app to YouTube but instead I have had to Email and then upload it instead. I enjoy using all of the amazing brush features too. The pixels get fuzzy when a picture is uploaded but I have grown very used to the app in many ways and love every feature in it, If there was anything bad that I disliked about the app is the sometimes it will crash when saving audio clips or not save frames after exiting the project. I love the app so much and It's the easiest to get used to and use and helps me work very quickly. I do wish I could use more layers past three but I easily use three anyway. I adore the app and hope to see more improvements on the Cineverse version because It's insanely difficult to really re-find posts and reply to others and dig through each project just to reply an have no other way to communicate more easily to find other people unless you can memorize the post and know exactly where in the ocean of posts that the project is, It's severely annoying and frustrating to communicate that way. I'd love to be able to find Cineverse users and connect with collaborations with them without having to talk through comments on their Cineverse posts. But this app is honestly just my favorite one in the AppStore and I find it so creative to use and make art with and I use it everyday and it helps me make my animation ideas real <3

This is an almost perfect animation app. The only problem is that you cannot add text boxes

Terrific app. Wish I knew about this before. It is simple and easy to put animation together. It also has its own tools, though they are few, which are sufficient enough to do what you want.

I love this app are used to make an animation for my comic called tiny elephant TM <~~~~ that stands for trademark if you're an idiot. In the future you're probably going to see him in theaters everywhere. this is inspirational and helps you improve your animation so one day your Animation could show up in the movie theaters like mine

This is a almost perfect app that I've been using for maybe a year now. The only issue that I run into is that the edges of all tools are soft, which looks bad when I use the fill bucket. Other then that, great app!

The only thing I have to say is that you should implement a rotation feature when drawing... finding a certain user's animations is near to impossible. I would suggest adding a search user option

First of all it just expects u to already know how to use the app it has no tutorial also the audio is off in EVERY ONE of my animations. Plz fix the audio. Other then that's it's a goodish badish app. Only worth $1 not $3!

Wish my artistic skills were a match for this fun app.

At first when I drew anything it would either be an ugly wolf or a human who had an awful time but I'm now better at wolves and my humans aren't that horrible now!

I would have given it five stars, but when I rotate my device when I am zoomed in to an area on my canvas it zooms out, which really bothers me.

Good app but sometimes becomes frustrating. Good buy once u get used to the features and minor tweaks if the app.

When I change the fps, it isn't fast enough. There is almost no difference between 10 fps and 30fps- maybe add a higher frame rate?

A little slow but it works

As much as I enjoy this for making animations one thing that ticks me off is that YOU CANT TURN THE CANVAS!! I'm used to drawing while moving things around so I don't have to turn my phone, but I can't do that here.

I really love the game but u need to update it or fix it nobody can post anything and I am getting angry

Could use a couple extra features and when I try to move the camera while zooming in it freaks out but other than that not bad at all

Sometimes it won't let me download the animation and the audio overlays and crashes the app. Also sometimes it doesn't let you undo something after you close the app or go out of that animation

is there a way you could make this available on other devices? like on pc and things like that. it has a perfect set up that i can feel comfortable with for animating but i only have an ipod that i can use it with. itd be amazing if there was a way you could make it more widely available. great app👌

This app is one of the best animating apps I have ever used! It is well worth the price! The only problem I have with this is when you zoom in our out, it keeps on making a line when I'm not writing it. It also glitches out too. This kinda bothers me while I'm animating. I would appreciate it if you can fix this! Other than this, this app is overall good!

BUT...the flag dose not work it crashes a lot their is spam and very harsh words being spread around it seems the creators abandoned the app. I hope they update it so we can at least report a user so they get blocked for five days at least i mean come on...

Ok, I'm on my phone and there's no save button or anything, I pressed the help button but I think it's for iPad control because none of the buttons it says to click are there on my iPhone please fix this!

There are a couple issues I've run into so far. 1st thing is when u receive an alert or message/call, the last thing you had edited on, in your work, is unable to be undone. 2nd thing is if you want to go into your photos or even google photos, the whole app crashes and launches you from the main menu. This can get frustrating if you are looking for examples. 3rd and last of all, i have not yet found a way to take a part of an image and rotate it. Only the whole image will rotate. Hard to get smooth flowing animation when you want to cut and paste. Other than that, this app is a cartoonists dream!

This is a great animation app that works very nicely without any lag. The tools are simple and the UI is clean. It provides the fundamental tools needed to do 2D animation without any fancy ones that would clutter up the small screen on a smart phone. I highly recommend this app for any animator that wants a way to animate on-the-fly as one might sketch in a portable sketchbook.

It has one irritating feature in that it nags you to write a review every time you open the app even when you already have written a review.

When I want a moving background of something I screenshot a lot so let's say you want to do it on AC. I set the background for the first frame, add new frame and set a slightly different background right? But it changes the first frames background ??? Also I think having video background would be awesome and able to import music too. Like I get music on my computer right and email to myself so I can access on iPad cause the song isn't on iTunes right and most apps that use songs only import from iTunes not mail or camera roll or anything like that. Like I want to make animation in sync with the music I like!

Also I think you should have some programming in it like I can't draw perfectly!! Thanks very much if you will update!

Ok, I wasn't sure if I should get this app or not because it could be like all the others just not free, so I was hesitant. I decided to get it since it had good ratings.

At first it was a little confusing because I was used to a different animation app that I had, but once I got the hang of it it was awesome! Super fun and simple, lots of different options. Basically, it was worth the 2 bucks. I totally recommend this app to anyone! Even if you're a beginner, this app is absolutely wonderful! 2 thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼

The app has pretty much everything you'd expect in a frame-by-frame animation app, including a sharing system, pictures (which can be used to make stop motion or use hand drawn frames... if you try hard enough), and sound recordings. It's not that hard to use, but there is still a learning curve (and animation itself is not very easy for most people). I wish that I could import a large sequence of pictures from my camera roll or from a folder to a large sequence of frames instead of needing to select the next picture for every frame (I prefer to take the pictures with the normal camera app because I don't need to use touch controls much between pictures). This app also crashes occasionally on my device.

Ok plz fix this!! When I went to ceniverse to talk to friends and see animations the screen only showed my uploads and account slabs on there it's been like this for two freaking days!! It keeps crashing on me and every time I zoom into my wolf or character I'm animating theres always a dot there or a line goes through my picture and when I click the back arrow it only erases half the line and messes up my picture so plz fix that too!! Thank you misoft hope this gets fixed soon! (I have an iphone 4 btw so plz fix it for those phones too)

I really love this app. Not only is it easy to use, the features for drawing/painting are actually better than some apps that are specifically for that.

There are a couple features I really wish it had, mainly to be able to lock the origin when rotating an object. When you set the origin to rotate an object, it only remembers it once. When you duplicate the frame and try to rotate the same object a little more, because it's impossible to set the origin in exactly the same spot, the origin moves a tiny bit out of line on every frame where you rotate it. Then when you play back the video, the object is jumping around a little as it rotates and looks shaky.

I also wish it were possible to have more layers than 5. I'd gladly pay extra for that feature.

I'd be so happy if it were possible for those features to be added, but I still love this app! It definitely beats the others, and it's helping me to learn animation.

Does anyone know how to do this? Take more that one "photo" from my stored iPhone's photos , and import them into this app? Not one background, I don't mean...?? I drew all for my animation on a drawing app, and stored them in with my photos. I want to import between 8 -14 of them to this app, to make aN animation. I wrote support but unsure if I got reply (maybe spam catcher got it...?) I've had this for a long time. Used it only a few times. I can't get certain things to work.

And I really really REALLY WANT TO IMPORT drawings I already stored in my photos, to make a stop motion animation. I can only seem to import one photo, as a background. If I try to add another "background photo" then they all get changed. Thus, no animation. Hm.

This app helped me so much over the time I've had it. Anytime I was bored I would animate and sometimes and take hours on my animations. I really hope to become an animator and that is my goal. This app has helped me. But why not help even more. My only suggestion is that you add a timeline, like popular animation software like pencil and flash. I don't know how hard it is to put that in but I would just like to suggest it because the app would be even better and easier to use with one. It be great. Overall though, I love this app.

I use to love painting over magazine covers or doodle storyboards for things I wish I could make. This app has everything. I suggest you get a stylus pen instead of using your finger if you are serious about your art and want to get better as you show the world you have been working on. Worth so much more than they are charging for this. Feels like a stripped down version of those programs that cost $200 and can do the same things. Looking for more Instagram connectivity for future projects.

This app is absolutely amazing for making animations! I've been using it for all of my animations.

However, I have a couple of requests.

1. I drew pictures in another app and saved them in .png format. But when I import them into Animation Creator, it fills the transparent background with white! I really hope you could fix this because I've been working on a complex animation that requires these photos.

2. Layers! It would be much easier if the max number of layers was larger than five.

Other than these reasons, this app is amazing.

I love this app! Needs a update for IOS 6. Crashing sometimes and the lag could be reduced a bit when importing photos. Also Please improve audio feature, like giving you a choice to either choosing your own songs from your music list or choose to record from your microphone. Also could you improve the cinema verse feature? I can't find any of my friends videos and it sometimes crashes when using it. Other than that, keep up the good work! Thank You

I'm such a beginner, yet this app makes it easy to get the hang of simple animations! Even advanced ones I'm sure, (I'm not that good yet..) for many apps like this, I look for if it's laggy or not, sensitive, and actually a good use in making ur own animations. this app scores 10/10 on everything! It's not at all laggy, at least not for me. It's not super sensitive, yet not bad sensitivity it's in between making it perfect! (If u don't know what I mean by this I means how it reacts when u touch the screen with ur finger or stylus) and this app has many different tools and options to make ur animation unique! :) love it! Only 2 things I want,

1. It seems like there is something wrong with the select tool. When I drag over something I want to copy and paste, it either doesn't do anything, or it randomly cuts away some of the picture. Really appreciate that being fixed!

2. I think we need an airbrush-like tool. Like just to add a hint if color to something or do some shading.

Best app I ever seen and I got mcpe and six guns. But I want to make some request to make this Easter and better. A search bar for browse. Better to see where to type comments. Ability to take music from music app to put in audio instead of recording all the time. Make the music app work so we can listen to music while we animate and draw. Finally fix the bucket colorin glitch. That would make it easter and better in my opinion

This app has been one of my favorites for a couple years now. It's very fast. I love it. It would be awesome if I had the ability to hold a frame for a given amount of frames rather than having to duplicate a frame a bunch of times or even 10 at a time. Managing all those frames can be hard to keep track of, especially when there's no quick way to distinguish which frame is which if you're doing more subtle stuff. All in all, still my favorite animation app.

I find the app to be very nice at what it was intended for. There are a few areas however I feel that could use some improvement..such as fixing tools that sometimes glitch namely - the cropping tool. Also, there are not enough ways to search for specific animations by artists or in subcategories related to the subject of the clip/s..but one thing that MUST to be fixed more then anything else is the fact that whatever you make can be deleted at anytime for no reason by an editor..you can repost it - but you still lose all the passed likes and comments made on the original post.

Well I love the app in some ways like layers and drawing are great! But if I add sound then delete it and add it again CUZ I added new pages it makes endless noises and it crashes my iPod FIX THE AUDIO and in ciniverse people just record irl make t so u can't do that and I want to be able to see my animations but I have to look for them let us have our own page and subscribe to others other then that its a pretty awesome app but there's some other bugs like duplicating something then it crashes then the duplicates are all blank /: 3 stars until all is fixed. I love this app. :,D No flaws, at all. But uh, you know when you upload an animation to ciniverse? Can you add some sort of notification thing to tell when your animation has been liked, or commented on? Or just add a like and comment number thing just like on facebook. Also :

1.) Can you add a search box for the app, so we can search for what we want to see?

2.) Can you organize the animations? I couldn't find the one I was looking for because they're all around the place. ):

I'm a Mac-trained graphic designer with a passion for animation. This is the best animation app offered to date, bar none! Love to create cell animations from photoshopped images & this app allows seamless cell transition & has many more features. Not the easiest in the world to learn & the tutorial could be a bit more in-depth but not rocket-science either and a short amount of "practice makes perfect!". The best value for your $ if you enjoy creating animations of ANY kind! Also, one of the VERY few apps I've actually purchased after using the free trial version!

When searching the app store for a feasible animation tool, I found this little gem. As an animation hobbyist, this program suits my needs fine. For iOS, it offers the broadest array of tools in its category, and it comes at the great price of ninety-nine cents. You get the standard brushes, pencils, and paint with added textures and a color wheel for a more adjustable pallet. Pros: Intuitive User Interface, Good Workflow, Excellent traditional animation, Variety of tools. Cons: It crashes and lags often, it cannot produce videos in landscape format, layers can become tedious to keep up with, no option for bones/pegs. I would also like support for multiple backgrounds as opposed to one which stays static. Overall, Animation Creator is an animation product which is very powerful given the device it works on.

I love this app for animations, its very easy. I do find it buggy every ounce in a while, very frustrating, but exiting out of the app often fixes the bug. I'm speaking of a bug that came on when I was trying to move an image, but instead it moved the page and then I couldn't write on any of the pages because the page wouldn't stay still even after trying to click out of that tool. Things like that happen. I think there is a lot more potential for this app, but even with that being said, its one of the better animation apps, and I own them all..but flip boom. I do own toon boom studio and other software on my PC, but this app is much easier to animate with (for me). I prefer it.

I love the feature of having multiple layers and the different brush tools. My favorite feature though is being able to import from my photo library. I imported some high quality drawings I made in sketchbook and then put in my photo library. This would be an even better app if you could select certain parts of the drawing and rotate them to make arms move easier. Another feature I would like is the mirror drawing feature found in sketchbook or if you could upload from sketchbooks photo library. Just some ideas.

This app is absolutely wonderful for animation tests on the go. I am excited to push the app even further because the possibilities look endless.

My favorite thing about this app is its intuitive layout. The undo button is easily accessible as is a button to switch from pencil to eraser and back with ease. To top it off there is a fast and easy to use scrub tool to flip through the frames. Adding frames is simple making animating inbetweens a breeze. If you really need to edit in a more organized space, the frames window is perfect for getting a clear overview of your animation and what you need to clean up/delete.

Playback is speedy, as is everything with this app. Scroll through the animation and change the frames per second with a single finger swipe.

My only suggestion is an easier way to turn the onion skins on and off, instead of having to exit the project file.

This app is the best animation app out there!

I've always been fascinated by animation and wanted for the longest time to create my own (lots of ideas) but have never really had a good avenue that I could go to consistently to practice the art. I checked out the express version first to see what this app had to offer. I was impressed. For the price it's a good value though. I did notice a few quirks when using the layer translate and rotate tool that caused me to lose control over a frame. It happened twice. On any given frame with the layer translate tool after you press and hold to get the rotate tool onscreen, if you switch to another tool while the crosshairs are still onscreen, nothing ever works the same again. The drawing on the frame zooms to like 300% and then right back out for every stroke you make say with the pencil. Very annoying there. Other than those two things, I enjoy practicing with this tool to help hone my skills in animation. Keep up the good work!

This app is worth buying if you like animating, however the founders really need to fix the "play animation" part, it doesnt work. !!!! Theres this other animation app that works great too. And its alot more creative. But this app has great utensils, with the help of its options in change of its opacity (size ithink) and pixels (darkness). The other app does not have pixels. Both apps you have to experiment to understand how to use them. But this app was alot easier to understand if you ever gave it the time to. Buy the other app for now until this apps fixed if you want to start animating right away.

I never say this, but this app is really a deal. Not just for the animation, but for the ability to add music, pictures, choose loop times, etc...

There are some animation/stop motion apps that do not give you enough control over your fps and other important issues.

I did have an issue with the app growing in size but the developer emailed me and assured me that the app does not store temp files and the app will fluctuate in size. I am going to keep my eye on that because I have been assured of that by quite a few developers. I am not saying the developer is wrong..it is his app..I just will give it more time and see..

I am reserving my last star for that and I will rate accordingly if the app does not grow too large.

This app has major potential. I hope they add some more editing features and more control over the music.

It really does a great animation job!

The only thing is that u have to keep redrawing everything (as far as I know, unless there is a way not too) when you are drawing the animation. So you have to try to be perfect when redrawing, although they do leave what you just drew in a a light grey so it makes it easy to copy. Just for convenience, it would be nice to select things that we want to stay the same..other than that great! 😊

On the iPhone, this is great for thumbnailing and animatics. Although, I'm sure you can get even more detailed if you wanted to. I love the many features this app has. You can even export your animations! Make sure to read the manual to find out other neat tricks. I wonder how fast more detailed animations can be made on the iPad with retina display and, in the future, pressure sensitivity? I can suggest some features, but I'm using a 3GS and I want to keep it running at least as fast as it has been, which is great already. If they can maintain that, I'm sure they have their own many ideas of features they wish to add. If I were to suggest some things, it would be nice to rotate the buttons without the labels (keep frame numbers though) in landscape mode. Others are, transparent toolbar mode, add previous blank frame and zoom options in Frames view mode (though these suggestions might slow this down). There are other suggestions, but I hope these help. Keep it up! This app is amazing!!!

Everyone of my animations are off because of a down-grade. Why the heck are you messing with the size of my backgrounds? Now when my animations run things are floating when they should be in relation to the original background. Why can't I re-size my backgrounds? And your export feature is still terrible...talk about messing with my background size!!! Please see my original 4 star review following: My biggest issue is that animations can not be exported as a video into my photos folder on my iPhone; it only enables the images to individually be exported (and I had to delete 60 pictures after I tried it). It is also annoying that you can't watch your animation while trying to record sound effects. The program is also a little buggy when switching from frame to frame when the rotation tool is selected; it also requires to be shut on and off to fix other bugs that come up during longer animations, such as, certain tools will be off point from where you are trying to use them.

I downloaded a few different animation apps to try them out and this one was definitely the best. This one had the most useful features combined. I am a professional animator and I want a tool like this for my computer! It's so simple in a way that makes it easy to use but not in a way that limits you in what you can do with it. The only thing i had difficulty finding at first was how to change the frame rate since the default fps is a weird 7 frames per second. I finally found that when you test (play through) your animation it allows you to adjust the frame rate. In my opinion that should be editable right on the first settings menu. But, now that i figured that out i have no problems with it.

Great App. Totally worth it.

Before I made the switch to computer animation, I had my career start as a traditional 2D animator. For an iPhone app I can tell you that this app is the closest I've come to the actual experience of working traditionally. It has a robust set of tools, and the drawing tools have a good look of natural media. A few things I'm hoping for in future updates:

1) When creating a new layer, it should be placed at the top of the stack - currently new layers are placed at the bottom (or perhaps this could be set as a preference).

2) The ability to play back a selected frame range.

3) The ability to make other geometric selection shapes - or even free-form selections - rather than just a rectangular selection.

4) The ability to import audio from the iPod.

Overall, this is an awesome app!

This animation app has user-friendly tools and lots of them, as well as clear instructions. Having a variety of brushes is very helpful, and adding frames "in between" as you go along, is a snap. The onion-skinning feature is a terrific help in creating smooth transitions. I got hooked on animation because of this app - I am graphic design and fine art oriented, and do a lot of illustrating, so I have tried and bought almost all the paint and draw apps in the store - This AnimationCreation app is one of the winners. If you like to try new things, enjoy drawing, and adding photos or your own artwork to the app, this one will be a pleasure. I hope they develop this for my iMac, soon, as well, it's that good. Another very important point for me: the customer service is responsive and quick to answer questions!

Its great! Whenever you have an idea you can draw it with advanced tools at your finger tips. With layers you can create an entire background without disturbing your first layer. The colors come in handy when you want a splash of color, the different textures bring your creations to life. I highly reccommend getting this app to anyone creative and artistic.

Bugs:

- the positioning tool moves the object a bit up from where you want it to be.

- the pen tool is mislabeled pencil

Wishlist:

- able to resize the drawings after you place them

- maybe even a few more layers and textures for outstanding complex animations

- an online community where fellow animaters can publish the animations for others to see and comment on thoer incredible work including your own profile where you can post a photo of yourself and gain new friends or fellow animators with a "favorite animater" button.

- gamecenter support

- allow animaters to draw together for one big animation

I love making little cartoons on this and I love all the different brushes! My only issue is that whenever I start the app, it starts with the weird scraggly brush and not the brush I last used. It's quite a pain scrolling through all the brushes looking for the one I last used and setting the size. Also, it would be better if we were able to import music/sound effects from our library instead of just recording sounds. It's hard to get high quality sounds by recording. Other than that, this is the best animation app on the app store! Beats any other paid app, hands down.

I haven't tried any other animation app, but if there anything less than this. They're not worth it. 99¢ with great features, audio support, and a great UI. Unbeatable. 

 Suggestions: Add support for more shapes (i.e. triangle, oval, pentagon, octogon, etc.) Possibly 3D shapes. Cube, pyramid, etc. And maybe for more advanced users, being able to change camera angles to give a three dimensional perspective. I wouldn't even mind those features being add-ons for a price.

This is a great animation app, what I really like about this app is that you can upload you're pictures and use it as if you are using photoshop. I also really like how you can zoom in the drawing, it makes it a lot easier to make clean animations. Only a few problems I found, it sometimes crashes when I upload a picture and there's no way that I'm aware of to delete a sound effect. Hoping to see maybe a color wheel for more colors, a way to make you're animations grow/shrink, and a way to make you're animation slow down/speed up at different parts of it. Great app 10/10.

Thank you for fixing the Fill tool and crashing issue with this new update. However, I've come across a very annoying glitch involving the Fill tool. I gave it a try and it worked well (though there were tiny unfilled gaps in the abstract triangle I drew with the Brush tool) but after I used it, the loading circle that appears when one uses the tool appeared and stayed there, even after I closed the app and started it up again. Please fix this as soon as you can.

This app is handy, but it still needs a little work.#1 please add a feature so you can put your animations straight into your camera roll as video on device. #2 a layer copy feature so u can focus on one aspect of the film at a time for example if you forget an important detail you don't have to go back and change it in every single frame but rather have a layer copied into the next frame.,...Right now I'm a little frustrated because I find it pointless to make these films if I can't edit them on my device. This updates a must I'm sure many agree! Thankyou!

If this idea is used, i can almost guarantee that this app will stay on top 25 for a really really long time. Also roughly 2 out of 10 people in the reviews have suggested this idea! If you know what the users of your app want, then why is there not an update being made right now? Once the people making this app know what the users want, it's like playing fetch with a dog; throw the bone and the dog runs and gets it! It is COMMON SENSE! The idea is this----->You should be able to add recordable sound effects. For you people reading this right now, if you agree that this app needs to be able to put audio recordings in your animation, just say you agree with Zach Kil.

Thanks for fixing the issue with the offset on zoom. That was really annoying. Overall, the app is good. While it's pretty complex (I can't see it not being complex) you can make some pretty good animations like the ones in adobe flash. I would like to see an option to have more than 3 layers and the option for iPhone/3rd gen iPod uses to ad voiceovers via microphone, and to ad background music from our music libraries.

I really like this app, but when i try to draw on the left side to the edge, it doesnt work! This is reaaally annoying, also a couple things you could use is a fill button, where u like fill in a closed area with a color, a text button where u could input text, and a music button where you can put music from ur library to play in the animation. I think these improvements could help ur app become #1 and get five stars from everyone, please work on at least the glitch and text button if nothing else, and ill raise my rating up!

This application is not as good before the update. When I updated, a bunch of problems came up. The bottom toolbar was so low that I almost couldn't click it. And to those complaining... Please try harder, because you can access the bottom toolbar. And to the people who made Animation Creator... You did not fix this app. You made it worse. You could've just said "Everyone, update to iOS 4." rather than update it. But since everyone was complaining, I guess you gotta make people happy. I'll still use this. But not as much, until the bottom toolbar thing being too low is fixed. Thank you.

I love using this app whenever possible! It's the best animation application Ive found on the iPod, but it would be nice to see these featured added: layers, for ability to move different parts; color selector, to duplicate previously made colors; copying sets of frames to loop them/ability to copy frame in middle and paste as the next one; being able to set individual frame backgrounds, or even better, te ability to import pictures; definately audio optionsvlike music an sound effects with the ability to import your own of both; and finally the option of landscape mode

I was an animation student in college many years ago but my professional career moved more into computer animation. I continued to scribble & draw "for fun", but never did hand-drawn animation...until I discovered this app. Now I can't stop. Unbelievable & amazing. I'm having a ball. I've sold more iPhones to friends & family just showing the animations I've made with this app. Waiting for a Mac or PC version of this so I can use a stylus & tablet instead of my finger..!! You guys really are great with listening to your viewers so this is one of my many apps I will actually take the time to rate considering you'll read it. I'll give you the 5 stars for users but cool things to do would be watching videos of others animations within the app. I would also like to see being able to rate others if you put their animations within the app. Anyway, great app over all and you guys did a good job on it

I was very scared of paying for this because of all the reviews saying there was bad controls. But i got it, and the controls are fine. EXCEPT-THE THING WHERE U SHAKE the itouch or iphone it erases your last action,- well everytime i press my 3

Fingers on the screen to bring the menu up, it erases my last line. So it gets really annoying and i really would like it to be fixed- i made some pretty cool animations btw

I have had the app for about four days now, and let me say first that it is a lot of fun to play with. I did my first animation in about ten minutes and my kids made several the night I bought it. The app functions well in terms of stability and speed, but it has serious UI flaws. The controls are not intuitive at all and the "3-finger-touch" system does not always work. They chose to maximize animation space by keeping all UI elements off the screen. In my opinion that was a mistake. I would much rather give up .25" of screen space and have the bottom toolbar that has become the standard for iPhone/iTouch apps. The control functions just seem random and are completely non-intuitive. Why the button for new animations, but the right-swipe to delete them??? The help screens are there, but non-contextual. With a few UI tweaks this could be a great app. As it is, it's just a good one.
