I love this game but...
I love this game! I’ve been play for years but since iPhone X it has annoying accidentally swiping up when you try to speed up trains coming from below. If you could only fix it 🙏

Still fun after all this time
This game is the reason I became a fan of Donut Games. Downloaded this literally YEARS ago on the first Apple device I ever owned—a first-gen iPod Touch. I’ve kept almost every Donut Games app on whatever device I’m on (presently an iPhone 6), and the game still works flawlessly, WITH NO ADS, and is still extremely fun and challenging. Thank you, Donut Games!!!

Almost unusable
I have always really liked this game. Very easy to play for a few minutes at a time. After not playing for tome, I pulled it up and was just too frustrated to keep playing. It’s virtually impossible to speed up the cars or trains without pulling down the iPhone home screen or swiping up and closing the game. Not sure how this could be fixed, but I just can’t play it anymore.

Staying true for a decade
I don’t often write reviews but I am genuinely impressed that Donut has not filled this game with micro transactions and ads. It’s still the same game it was when I first downloaded it nearly 10 years ago, but regularly updated to keep up with increasing screen sizes and resolutions. One of very few apps that has been on all my devices since the 3GS and is still seeing regular use.

Unable to switch or close app from inside.
While this game is open the app doesn’t respond to the swipe up command leaving me to have to find a creative way to switch out of the app and into another app and then close the game from my phones home screen. This bug is very very annoying and I hope there is a fix soon.

One of the best iOS games to have
This game is one of the original iOS classic must-have games, alongside flow, angry birds, candy crush, paper toss etc. This will probably always be my favorite iOS game. It is endlessly fun. Very simple concept that presents just the right amount of challenge. The new train mode is like playing two matches of traffic rush at the same time, and is also very enjoyable.

Paid games should not open with advertising!
I pay for games specifically so I do not have to deal with all the advertising and tracking that developers use to monetize their apps. Any game that still insists on advertising will be deleted and the developer blacklisted for me personally. Treat customers with respect and they will enjoy your software much more.

This game is very simple BUT very fun. It’s the type of game you don’t play for 5 hours straight. Take breaks. I love playing it when i have time to spare. I don’t play it every day, sometimes I don’t play it for weeks. Although when i come back to it, i have just as much as i did when i first got it.

One of my favorite games
I’ve been playing this since I’ve had an iPod Touch back around 2008. The game has gotten a little more difficult to play as iOS has added more areas to “swipe,” but I still thoroughly enjoy this game.

The Train game is for all ages.
It is a classic for sure.
One problem I have is the train can/will derail, not a problem at low scores but very frustrating when you are trying to break your record.

Love the railroad game
The car intersection game that apparently started this is okay. But the railroad game is great. I love it and it never gets boring. I have one little issue. I wish there was a border around the game because I sometimes end up pulling done my notifications page when I'm trying to start a train at the top. You can't disable the notifications page like you can the control page at the bottom. But you learn how to mostly avoid it.

I think that the traffic rush game is an amazing game. I love playing it because it teaches me and other people who play it how to no get in an accident. When u get in an accident u have to start over like you would in a real car. Cause in a real car i have to start over because when the police gives the person who cause that accident a ticket so that right there means you are kinda starting over. And on this game you can chose between if u want to do railroad or regular. I like to do regular bacause that gets me into real driving.

BEST GAME EVER!
I've had this game for a little over a year now and haven't really played it much... Until now. I had it on my iPad and I let my friend play my iPad and he started playing this app from my NEVER PLAY folder I created. Then he created a CHALLENGE. He got 117 and it was going CRAZY! Then I said that it looks impossible to beat the score and now I beat it with a high score of 235. Now I play this game almost EVERYDAY and I love it! DONUT GAMES is probably the top game developer with great games for iPad in my opinion!

Too much fun!
I originally downloaded this game when it only had the classic game. I have to say that this game has enabled me to kill off more time than I would really like to admit. It is so simple to play and very engaging that it keeps you coming back for more. I can hardly wait to see what gets added next after rail rush! Go ahead and get this game if you really want a good challenge, just beware the amount of time you will spend enjoying this game!

Awesome... Few ideas :)
Play this app is amazing it is so worth the 99 cents. I couldn't even wait for Christmas when I was getting an iTunes gift card had to get 1 asap for this app. A few ideas to make the cars one more interesting would be if u made it so some of the cars were turning. That would help people think more on the cars level. If you did that I would so love this game even more if that is possible!!!

Fun, addictive, could have more
I can't stop playing the new rail rush part. I would like to see an update maybe a difference track and such. One of the best games I have for iOS. I have to say it is one of the few games that you can play on both the iPhone/iPod touch or the iPad either way. A lot of games you almost have to use the iPad to enjoy but waiting for dinner I just pull my iPhone out and start playing and don't feel a loss of the iPad's screen and ability. Props to a good developer can't wait to see the next update. By the way 4/5 stars in hopes that the next update rocks it way up to 5 stars. Seriously stop reading this and get the game!

Good, but a few minor complaints
Overall, this game is great. I played it a lot on my old ipod touch, and I was hoping for a little more on the ipad version. The game has black bars on all 4 sides of the screen, plus the whole game is just a blown up original, it doesn't look that good. Plus, I do wish that maybe there could be some ipad exclusive content, such as doubling all the lanes for cars, or adding a few more railroads to the trains.
However, this is still a great and addicting game, you should get it.

Awesome game
This is an awesome game. It actually feels like you are regulating real traffic, but it's a game. So that makes it fun. This game is so addicting. It will keep you hooked and will make your iPod Touch something that is hard to put down. It can become very hard if there are an awful load of cars that come in and you lose control and cause a collision. You have to watch out and keep a constant eye open. There are many ways to do it, but you have to think fast. You will just want to try and beat your high score every time. Achievements make this game even better and provide for an even bigger challenge and feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. My high score is 145 seconds. BEAT THAT.

Do Not be Fooled by the Reviews on This One...
I usually give a certain amount of weight to the user reviews, but this time the crowd has it wrong.
There are (at the time of this writing) way more one star reviews than anything else, but maybe those reviewers think a one star review is good? In any case, this is a slick little, yet very simple, game. Smooth graphics and a simple UI that makes this game very addictive.
And come on, the game is FREE (at least is was when I wrote this). Granted there's not a lot going on, just just cars going fast or slow (and sometimes stopping), but the graphics are great and the sounds fit the game very well. So I really don't know what all those one star reviewers are saying, this game is better than lots of more expensive games and will keep you playing. Perfect when you have a few minutes to kill.
Oh and maybe the developers could show us a picture of the girl who whispers the opening, "Donut Games?"

I think this fame was fun. I installed it about a week ago, figuring I would fave time to try. Anyway here is my feedback. I think it is addictive, dimple animation with not a lot to do. The only thing would say is it would be great if they had a level based setup. I don't know what that would look like, perhapps how many points you could score in under 2 mins, with an option to stop save and return where you left off. Other than that I think irbid A LOT OF FUN

Okay, this is pretty cool!
Fun and addicting. Turns into utter chaos very quickly and can be very difficult to control--you need a very quick and precise tap to control the game properly. Harder than it looks! I love the VERY easy and basic controls and the deceptively simple concept of the game. Don't let yourself be distracted by anything while playing. The game Michael Bay or Jerry Bruckheimer would play if all they could afford were free apps. One of the best free apps I've found so grab it now, before they start charging for it! You won't be disappointed.

Potential..
This game is already enjoyable in its current state, but I believe it could go further. Devs please, PLEASE add different levels with streets on the intersection in different directions, different skins for each level, add more streets the further you get in the game. Keep the current part of the game but turn it into a "survival" mode if you will. I'd pay for it if you did this, definitely! Thanks for a great free game so far Donut Games and I will continue playing the game. I recommend this game to anyone who sees this review.

2 player?
so me and my friend were bored in the car, so what we did was we played traffic rush, both at the same time. what we did was have one person cover two roads, so we could have a two player way to play. with this, you could do co-op, (our co-op score was 246 by the way :)) or you could have a battle mode, where you must crash the other person's cars, by stopping them and having another car from the same person crash into it. (that would get you 1 point)
so give it a try!:D

I love this game!!!Here is a great tip to getting a high score! Don't stop the cars, instead, simply swipe your finger over the vehicle to make it accelerate and they go so fast they just speed off the screen!Doing that, i got a high score of 82! This game is fun on the ipod touch and it is simple unlike some of those games out there and it is addicting!I would deffiently have bought this game if it as not free ecspecially reading all these great reveiws typed by other fortunate traffic Rush players! =D If i could, i would give this amazing game 10 stars! this game is so compatible with the ipod touch, it is unreal!

Good but frustrating
Well the game is really good and it's not complicated in any way just control traffic it would have been a 5 game but..
The global score board is opened on safari. Having your finger on the screen makes it hard to see vehicles, so I use my thumbs which shakes my iPod a lot, making it the same as using my fingers. Should have a retry button and just directly counts down to the game instead of have to press ok then start. It lost a for all those things.
Some of the cars and motorcycles are so fast that they pop out right in the middle in less than a second and it gets hit with a car I sped up. This was the frustrating part. The motorcycles are hard to see as well, if you could put a side car to it so we can see it better then that would be nice. Lost a for that(x

Pretty good
This app is well made but anybody could make this. You guys need something that will set you apart from other applications that will try to surpass you. What you guys need is the ability to go up levels, travel to new cities, more cars, ability to increase all cars speeds, more cars, longer cars, even semi trucks. But what I would really like to see is crashes. Real crashes. Like when a semi nails a car on the side from the back I want to see the car spin out and hit other cars! I very much enjoy this app and I play it very day but there could be a few adjustments. there could be different places to play and different difficulties. there could be levels with just one type of car. I wish that I could listen to my music while I play. So please try to gets these things on your next update

Good Game! But in need of more!
Traffic Rush is a good game, it's entertaining, and sort of addictive. I can honestly say it was well worth a buck, which for me is a lot. But it is in need of more, I personally suggest that the developer add a few more maps, and have easy, medium, hard, very hard levels, the current setting being medium. I would also SERIOUSLY consider adding a level builder, including the ability to build a map, choose which cars come and go, maximum speed limit, walkers, bikers, and strollers (on cross walks), and traffic lights that are uncordinated/player controlled. Any one, some, most, or all of these features would greatly improve the game! Good job, not something I could ever do myself!
