Touch Rummy is a tile Rummy game. Touch Rummy is fun, sometimes difficult, but always entertaining.
Play against your device or against other players using a bluetooth or wifi connection.

A fun app
I've been playing this for years. Nice smooth graphics, straight forward operation. I wish it would display the # of tiles in the 'bone pile'. It would add a little challenge to solo play.

Update screwed up the table
A great game for sure, but the latest update has made this great game no longer great. It no longer uses all the screen real estate. Drawing tiles and placing tiles just isn't smooth anymore. And why doesn't the AI show how many tiles it has left until after it has completed its turn? If I play a tile my tile count is reduced by one. The same should be for the AI.

Awful update
I don't know what happened with the new update, but it's terrible. Graphics are worse, unsmooth. It's really jumpy & unresponsive. I paid for this game & it's one of my favorites. Please put it back the way it was.

Excellent
I used to play Rummy with my mom ages ago. The Dev has done a brilliant job making it an app.
I highly recommend this to those who know and enjoy the game. For those who have never tried Rummy, if you like a game that is both relaxing but also requires thought, give this a whirl.
To the Dev: Deserves more than five stars. Also *thank you* for adding the running tally of wins and losses. It's a simple but nice touch that makes the game even better!

Beautifully expected game
The game mechanics are so well done that this is even more fun playing on my iTouch than the real Rummikub board game. I have enjoyed so many hours of this game that it is well worth the $3 I paid. I also have the free version of the Rummikub game app, and find this app better executed.
I also like the ability to change settings so I can get a magnified view of tile touched. And that tiles are easily moved across the board to make room for more tiles. Well done, developers!
I play against Al (solo) and have found it to be a good player without any noticeable flaws.
One rule change that I like better than the board game, is the ability to use only one tile from your hand when stealing a joker, rather than having to use two tiles from your hand.

We had game on iPod and worked but in iPhone it has problems. I would not buy until glitch is fixed!

This is a great game, one of my all time favorites. The bug with the first move that was so irritating has been fixed. This is just like Rummikub.

Multiplayer
This game would be 100% better if you would please make it so you can play multiplayer over Internet like "words with friends". You would have so many more people downloading this app if you could please make this update. I have a lot if friends waiting for that ability. It's not at all convenient that you have to sit next to each other. You might as well get out the board game!

Multiplayer is awful
Can't connect to other users over wifi. Really disappointing. I guess we'll have to break out the actual board game.

Keeps crashing
I love playing the game but it keeps crashing and not taking initial move even when well over the 30 points needed. Repeated attempts to redo the turn do not help. I have to uninstall and reinstall the game if I want to continue playing. Have done the reinstall 3 times now in the last couple of days. Getting to be not worth the effort.

Update: I have no problems with this game even after the updates. I still play it almost every day. Thoroughly love it. Thank you deveoper(s).
I was leary about adding another app to my 32 gig Ipod Touch 4th gen. But I am so glad I did especially while this was free. Really enjoy it, makes your mind really work to be able to take cards from other stacks and move everything around to make it work for you! Wish the directions were better, had to watch the computer do its thing to catch on! Glad I got it!

Great Game!
This is one of my favorite game apps and I have no freezing/crashing problems with the latest version on my iPhone 3GS. I really like the HD version of this game on my iPad, since the cards are a bit small on the iPhone version.

We love playing but cannot finish a game as it keeps crashing and telling us that one of us has quit when we haven't! I want a refund.

This game was a big waste of money and time. It is very difficult to understand. I play rummy squares on my pc all of the time and I thought this game was going to be like that, but it is not. I wish I could download rummy squares onto my iPAD. I can
not find it to do that. A word to the wise, do not waste your hard earned money on Touch Rummy. Be forewarned.

Freezes
This is a nice simple Rummy app, but since the latest update it has caused my iPod Touch 4th gen to freeze and I have to completely reboot.

Not working
Love this game, but...when I play over WiFi with my daughter we cannot finish a game due to error message. It tells us the other person ended the game or the connection was lost. This is the only game we have issues with. When you pay for an app, it is extremely frustrating that it doesn't work as it should. Please fix this!

Not worth purchasing.
The tiles are difficult to manipulate on the game board -- and often go where I don't want them. The board itself needs an 'organize' option like the computer version of Romi (Gerard Brochu) to keep things neat. Took me half an hour to do one game, and I'm good at it! 😱 Will be deleting this and checking out Romi.

Disconnect constantly
In multiplayer, the app constantly. Went to app support and did everything it said to do. It still crashed. Good game when it works which is never!! Until they fix the problem, don't buy this app!!!!!

Don't miss it
Very fun. My wife and I love to play, and this is the perfect implementation of a classic tile game. Only problem, during multiplayer, it loses the Bluetooth connection really easily, and won't connect over wi-fi at all.

Thumbs Up, Well Done!
This game is great I'm able to play it, stop it and resume it when I have a time. Graphics are great, and game play is smooth. You can totally rearrange the board to test you possible matches. If you are unable to complete your groups or runs press take back moves and yes to confirm and you can find a simpler match or run or select from the pile.

Can't put it down!
This is a challenging game that is well done. Very similar to the game I played years ago. Even if you can't find someone to play with, you still can play anytime against the computer. If you have a friend that has an iPhone of iPod touch that's even better. You can play over bluetooth or wifi.

As if it were the real thing
Excellent, well thought-out game and I admire the programming that goes into it. While you enjoy it, you do need to be alert to beat it.
Glad I caught it for free since I never quite got anybody to play the real thing with me. This is as good as it can get.

Needs 4 Player Mode
Great game, lots of fun. I would give it 5 stars if multiplayer allowed more than just 2 players. 3 or 4 players would make this a 5 star game easily.

Awesome
The rules joker tiles are a lot more relaxed than in other tile rummy games I've played. Other than that, this is a great way to play tile rummy on the go!

Needs some depth
Feels very beta.
The Pause button is mixed in with the actual game buttons - Keep it separate
The Pause button looks like falling dominoes - Some things should be left alone
The table needs to give the user some direction - People that aren't 100% familiar with the rules will find this very hard to navigate.
The 3D graphics are cool, kinda odd, but cool.
Take some $$ from your graphics budget and put it in your development budget.

Rummikub addict
Great game and great app!
But please, oh please, won't you make a grid where the tiles go? Pleeeassse?
Sets on the left side and runs on the right, with a little number in the runs grid to show where to put the tiles for the runs. The computer just lays down wherever on the board and moves things around at random mixing all the set and runs together making for a much longer game trying to see where everything is and what can go with what. (check out rummikub on line and you'll see what I'm talking about).
In return i'd be more than happy to write another review with 5 stars!

Love the game in real life and this is close! * if your a true rummikub player you'll know that the rules applying to joker are more lenient in this version. They allow for use of the joker way to liberally, the original game makes it much more difficult. That being said I play this game all the time! I would easily give it 5 stars if the rules were true to the original game

Fun game pretty close to the real thing
This app is a nice app that is pretty close to the real tile game. My family has played rummy kube for many years using Color Rummy. This ipad game follows that one pretty closely. Main difference is the green tile which is blue in the original. Also, I wish the rules allowed for wrapping of a run. In other words the 13 should be used to go "around the corner" so that a 1 could be added on to it. The rules should be altered to allow for this. Worth the cost to dl the iPad hd app.

Great game.
This is a great program. It is very well written and the game is a real challenge. I liked this program so well that after buying the iPhone version, I also obtained the HD iPad version; plus I gifted it to my son. My spouse and I have played it with Blue Tooth and Wi-Fi with no problems. The computer player is a good opponent. All we need now is a Game Center version so we can get all our friends playing it too. I have spent hours with this game and intend to spend many more. Great game!

I love this game!!
It is very addicting, I play way too much! However, I get a lot of enjoyment out of this game. My daughter and I played Rummicube a lot when she was growing up and this reminds me of those good times. Money well spent

I would be more inclined to give this game the 5 stars it deserves if only it had the capability of playing with others and not with those within close proximity to you. Otherwise, I find this game quite entertaining and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Kudos to the developers!

Update is bad :(
I LOVE this game. I'm totally addicted to it BUT I did the update and now the side buttons are so small I can't see how many tiles the opponent has which impedes on my game strategy. Granted, if I hit the button it will tell me but that interrupts the game. Please please...how do I undo the update?
Go back to the original and I'll give it 5 stars.

Fun!
This is fun once you figure out how to play. To those who have invalid board error you need to have 30 points worth on the board to play your first hand. Runs need to be the same suit. Groups/books need to be at least 3 pieces with each one being a different suit. That part needs to be explained more in the rules.

Excellent adaptation
Fun, addictive, game which is true to the board version. No problems with the easy, intuitive controls. Love the multiple shuffle options and undo button! (Wish I had those on live play.) Agree with other reviewers that this would be closer to perfect if play was available over a network. Well done though!

Love the game!! But when I try to play with others the Bluetooth is slow and I have to be in the same room. At least make it wi-fi friendly if not have a larger network. For 3 bucks I expect a little better performance. The tiles don't bother me but the friend game play needs an overhaul!!

Luv this app! I would give 5 stars, but would like to play with others over the air, without Bluetooth. Make it where the timer doesn't start until the player, when playing over air, accepts that it his their turn. Then you will have a 5 star app!

My favorite iPhone game
I've purchased hundreds of iPhone games. This one is, by far, the one I am enjoying the most. With its resume feature, you can play for as long or as short a time as you wish. It has much more depth than other games in the App Store; I played two games last night and each one lasted 50 very enjoyable minutes. It is amazing how faithfully the developer has emulated the Rummikub board game experience, and has enhanced it. It is free right now, presumably to attract attention, but this is easily worth several dollars.

Great game
Great great game. Very addictive, been playing the board game with tiles for many years. The latest update is pretty good too. That being said one small problem with the update, when you go to place a tile where it belongs it seems the screen is very slippery and it's hard to set the tile down exactly. It's like it has a mind of it's own. Otherthan that love this. Can play it till the battey dies out

A surprising pleasure
I've bought several solitaire packages, so I have played Rummy here on the iPod. I really didn't need another Rummy game, but I'm really glad I bought Touch Rummy. I've played it to the exclusion of all of my favorite games, so now this IS one of my favorites. I just wish I could understand the scoring system, so I've rated it a 4 as opposed to a 5.
Update: Duh. Scoring is based on the face value of the remaining tiles.

Love it!
This app is great. I used to play for hours with my grandmother as a child and this is identical. The only difference... I can take as long as I want to figure out my next move without getting yelled at to hurry up. :-)

Addictive game
Fun. Easy to learn. Try to use all of your tiles to win. Graphics nice. Gameplay fine, but it takes some getting used to placing your tiles. Saves your game automatically. I would like to see more tilesets like cards and letters. Other than that, you can play for hours with this game.

Awesome & Addictive!!!
I downloaded this game today and have played it for hours! It is totally addicitve, but the other reviewers warned that might happen. It does drain my battery; I have had to recharge several times today. The game is challenging, but I beat the game once already so that means it is easy to learn. The board's controls take some getting used to, big fingers and a small screen are always an issue. I bet this game would be a great fit for the new iPad, I want one so badly! Enjoy the game.

I've been playing for months now and have had no problems. I like all the updates so far and hopefully, multiplayer will be added. Also, I wouldn't mind being able to clean up the board. Maybe a left/right justify??

Good. Could use more features
I like this better than the official Rummikub game. I find the difficulty fine which makes it enjoyable. And I like the ease of sorting. I'd like to see more sounds added- swishes and clicks when moving and placing tiles. Also perhaps more than one opponent.

My new favorite game! (drains battery, though)
I've played several versions of Rummy and this one is far-and-above the best one there is. The interface is gorgeous, gameplay is highly intuitive, and play is challenging enough to keep even the best players happy while not too challenging for a beginner to compete with.
Once you play this Rummy game, you'll wonder why the others don't work just like this!
My one caveat is that this game, with it's great 3d graphics, does seem to drain my battery faster than I would expect from a game of this genre. Still, it easily earns 5 stars in my book. I can't stop playing!

Best Free Game!
This game is far and away better than any free app I have downloaded and better than most paid apps. Plays true to the real board game with some minor changes. Very addictive. And the computer is a good, not great opponent. Wifi multiplayer would make this game awesome.

Wow! Great fun...
My wife's favorite game and now I cannot get my iTouch back. She plays this all the time. This is really an amazing game even though just one-player ... it is well worth the $. One suggestion: when zooming if you can leave in Zoom mode and just allow scrolling around the board... she says it is a little hard at times to see the tiles as the board fills up ... probably because she plays for 3 hours at a time and her eyes are tired :-)

Oh my god!!! I'm already so addicted. Installed 72 hours ago, spent over 20 of those hours playing this game! Love love love the gameplay the amazing the graphics. Great job guys. Plus I installed when it went on sale, which is friggin awesome:)

Fun but....
I love this game it is so adictive and fun to play all day! But it drains my battery so fast even all the settings are off also I would love to have the feature wifi play mode with other iPhone user instead of computer! Me and my sister plays this game together all the time we would love to play against each other! Overal game is awesome!

This is a really good game, hours of fun. The AI seems balanced, this isn't for blitzkrieg playing, just relax, try different schemes and you can win it.
Would love to se online multiplayer implemented, the only thing it misses to be perfect! Even though, i couldn't rate it 4 stars, 'cause it's one hard worked little gems.

Run down battery
I love this game but I took it off my phone because of how quickly it would drain the battery. I even turned all the option off but it didn't make a difference. Otherwise a fantastic game.

Great App
Very nicely done. I like that I can rearrange the tiles in sets and runs with the touch of a button rather than having to move each tile. The rules are slightly different from what I originally learned, but easy to learn. The board helps determine what is valid and invalid. That's helpful. I can beat the AI, but not every time. I like that too. Being able to customize of the rack, board, table, and tiles is a nice touch.

Please fix!
Please fix "the board is invalid" problem. It deals multiples of the same card and I can't even play one game because of that. Also, might as well get rid of zoom (can be turned off in options, I know) since the cards are perfectly visible. There's just no need to zoom in on something we can see. I love the graphics and am looking forward to updates.

Fun but too much movement
This game is good but would be better if you could automatically sort your cards by suit. Also, the board moves too much. The 3D graphics are great but it would be nice if the board only moved when you actually made a play.
