The most forward thinking music app I have seen.
This app allows me to deal with ratios in sound. Most other music apps are limited to equal temperament. Thank you Mr. Lowengard for taking a step forward in musical thinking, and giving us the chance to experience music in a new way via your app, Droneo!

Wonderful software. With the evolving voices it's as though I'm being accompanied by a living breathing entity - at the same time combined with precise control over what's played: the tuning, the notes and harmonics.

The settings for all the intervals can be visualized and manipulated using a special "Tone Spiral" interface.
Droneo is also an excellent way to play with the way chords fuse into timbres.
You can get a feel for how certain timbres fit "naturally" in certain frequency ranges, and how tunings and timbres and chords intertwine.

The best drone app available on iOS
This is the best drone app available for iOS. Slow, evolving drones or chaos, whichever you prefer. Loads of flexibility here.

Amazing and well recommended.
Just beautiful static drones with lots of options, tones and slider. Thanks Henry, your apps and website inspire me to create!
The only real issue I have is that moving sliders causes clicks and crunches a lot on my iPhone 6, especially when working with other apps. Just letting it record is fine and well worth it to set up a base file for other apps.

Does not work
It will not run on either my iPhone 6s, nor my iPad Air, nor my iPad Pro, all running iOS 10.2.1. I stair at the title page for maybe 20 seconds and then it crashes. Deleted/reloaded ...no change.

Best Droner Gets much needed update!
Thank you, Henry! Not only have you added essential connectivity to the app but the UI is much nice than before! This is by far the best droning app available for iOS. So good in fact that before the audiobus/IAA update I used to use Droneo on my iPhone, connect the phone to my iTrackDock and iPad and run it into Cubasis. I don't go to that much trouble for any other app but Droneo is that good. So if you are looking for a droner look no further!

Interesting Harmonic Tool
Harmonically, it's an interesting app to hear relative tones interact. It's current release is outdated and will not work in AudioBus 2.1, so it's interoperability with other apps and recording it to software is limited. Hope to see updated soon.

Useful but complicated
I find Droneo useful for practicing trumpet. The steady drone gives me a reference for intonation and allows me to improvise freely. Unfortunately the interface is extremely complicated and lacks the most useful feature: an on-off toggle. I hope the developer will include this feature at some point.

Great sounds and support!!
I have several dozen music apps. I decided to check this app out because of its audiobus compatibility. It's really easy to start making great drone sounds and there's obviously a ton of depth to this app that I can't wait to explore. Extra patches are easy to download from the website. I had an issue with the audiobus compatibility and the developer got back to me within the hour!! I'll definitely be purchasing other apps from this developer!

Wonderful, unique app!
The "Drone" sound caught my attention back when Nine Inch Nails started incorporating it into their music. I always wanted to gain a better understanding of it, as well as make some sounds of my own to sample for Nanostudio. It's a little confusing but even by fooling around, you can make some interesting sounds. I really like this app! The dev is also friendly and quick to answer questions.

To respond to another review, you can currently contact the developer right from the help file. I remember when I first purchased droneo I asked him how to turn off the ipod keyboard sounds, which I mistakenly thought were droneo sounds and he responded extremely quickly.

beautiful interface, great tool
I purchased this app a week ago and have used it for every violin lesson I have taught since. The students are able to place their pitch in the context of the overtones, providing a much better tuning tool than a simple tone given on a metronome. The interface is easy and enjoyable ... my students love playing with it. I have not gotten deeply into the nuances of the various drones ... I've found a few favorites (the evolvers and some simple sine waves) and stayed with them. The included info seems comprehensive and excellent. The application is vastly better than DroneStation, the other tool that seemed like a possible contender.
Only minor piece of feedback is that I spent 30 minutes looking for how to turn the drone ON and was ready to give up and email for technical support ... discovering finally that the only way is to use the overall volume slider. It would be nice and also more intuitive to have a simple on-off button in addition to the volume slider.
Overall, great application for my purposes, and well worth it compared to over $100 for a traditional Indian drone box!!

Nothn like a cold stoned groove...
Love this thing. Only imrovement I can think of is using the iPods accellometer to control the churn of yer drone. If you could add two more drone sounds then the accelometer thingy then you'd be able to tilt it 360* to alter the sound. My pants are tightening just thinking about it.
Anyone who's dropped listening to Spacemen 3 will dig this jobby. If yer doing keg stands listening to Nickleback just stick to yer lil video games. This here's Daddys toy, ya Vag.

Drone tones
The app allows you to create harmonic tones in various ways, pitches, formats, and so on. If you like this sort of thing, and I do, this works perfectly. I can do without the monster bee icon and the whole apiarian theme, complete with honeycomb background. I get it: bees' buzzing is a drone sound. But the app doesn't sound like a bee, and who wants a big bee on their iPhone. As a result, I keep the app on a back page and don't use it as often as others I keep closer to the front.

Why cant i try before i buy?
this is a nice app it kind of does what it says but i was hoping for more rich textures.. def not worth $2.99 at all!
