An exit button on the bottom left brings you back to the puzzle selection menu.

Our team of toddlers tested Tozzle thoroughly and we took their suggestions seriously to create a funny but educational App specifically for them.

If a child can't find the right place for a piece, a helping arrow guides them to the right slot, so every child can solve every puzzle.

A Definite Winner!

I downloaded this for our two year-old granddaughter, and it was an instant hit. She loves figuring out where the pieces go and enjoys the sounds that accompany each picture. As we sit together, I give her more information about the context of the picture she is working on. What she is learning about shapes and where "pieces" go will make it easier for her to do puzzles with more pieces than she can handle right now. I've been impressed with Tozzle - wish I could purchase even more pictures for our little one to get excited about.

Clever and fun

My daughter has been playing with Tozzle for almost 3 years, she is 6 now. The puzzles are colorful and clever-- there are simple and more complex ones. The "Simon Says" that you build from the circuit board up and then can actually play (wow!) is one of my favorites. The exercising bunny is silly and fun, it's definitely my daughter's favorite. The sounds can be a bit annoying to adults but it's all in good fun. It's well worth the cost and can entertain for years.

I never write reviews, but I am just so thankful I found this app. My almost 2 year old NEVER sits still and will not even watch tv. She is in love with this app and will play with it while we are out, in the car, or when I need time to clean. Nothing has ever gotten my child to sit still before. Best app yet!!!! Amazing!!!

Wow, this App is soo cool. My kids like it very much and the educational factor is very high. I absolutely recommend this app for everybody who wants his kids not only to fool around with the iPad. Also thx for fast adaption to iPad pro!!!

My husband is an airline pilot, and he especially loves the airport, you implemented in your app. He is amazed at the level of detail and accuracy of your artwork. The aircraft types are real aircraft, the runway markings are ICAO conform, and he is sure that the tower is a homage to the Stockholm Arlanda airport. Is that true?not many apps have this level of accuracy. Keep up the good work. 5 stars!

Love it!

My 2.5 year old loves this app! She loves the puzzles so much that I had to buy the full version.

I also love that the lite version has ads but won't let her click on them without holding down for 3 seconds and won't let her get to another puzzle without dragging a bar across the bottom of the screen. It makes me trust the developers honesty. Most other apps with ads just allow her to click the ad and then I have to get her back to the app.

MUST-HAVE app for KIDS!

We have 4 children and all of them play this game! Starting around 18 months, a child can figure out how to do the colorful puzzles. There are even puzzles for older children, where they put together circuit boards! Love it!

Amazing

Such and amazing app for children who love puzzles. The best puzzle app that we have seen so far. The animations and encouraging cheers this game provides has my children motivated towards completing each puzzle. Both my sons are great at putting together real life puzzles. My 22 month old loves this!

He's actually been playing he game for months, and since it has so many levels of difficulty for the puzzles, he's never bored. I wouldn't normally pay for apps for him, but I did for this one and I'm so glad. He learned letters and animals from it, he knows his alphabet and numbers 0-9. I'm quite happy.

My kids play this game a lot. There are plenty of puzzles and the app creator is always adding new puzzles. The later ones have lots of layers to them and some turn into playable concoctions when you finish the puzzle.

Love it, but no sound

I've had the lite version forever and my kids love it! So I bought the full version and the sound doesn't work. Very sad! That's what makes my kids (22 months and 3 yrs) so excited that they did it! Please fix!

My favorite!

I love this app! It's my girl's favorite go-to app. They've had their iPads and many several different apps... But this one never gets old. They love the ever changing puzzles and the noises and once the puzzle is complete, the kids love the tiny animations that make the puzzle come alive. This is one that is well worth the price. It never gets old.

Great app!!

Both my kids love this app. My 3yr old plays it much more than my 5yr old but they both love it. They like completing the puzzle and at the end getting the congratulating music. After some of the puzzles you can interact with it. There is a bunny puzzle and after your done you can feed the bunny carrots and apples. It keeps them entertained for a while! Best app I have paid for.

Best puzzle app for toddlers!

My two yr old LOVES this game. She has completed all of the puzzles but keeps playing over and over. She especially loves the sound effects created when she clicks on pieces of the illustration and the puzzles that animate upon completion. As a parent I like that the game is a fun challenge for my child vs. many kids apps that are just too simple.

My grandson

I've had a hard time finding apps for my grand children that they actually really like but they seemed to enjoy the Lite and free version of this so I decided to buy it. My 3 year old grandson was spending the weekend here while his dad worked and both he and I were very pleasantly surprised by how interactive and easy this is to operate. He soon learned that he could manipulate the cartoons even after the puzzle was put together to make different sounds. And there are so many different themes and puzzles I am not sure that he even got through them all. His dad was amazed at how it kept him busy and very interested.

My kids LOVE it

my, kids 20 months and 4 love this app. My 4 year old has begun to lose interest (after a year and a half) and my 20 month old plays it daily. Great games, and when the puzzle is completed the game "cheers" (my daughter claps for herself). As well, once each puzzle is completed you can touch the images to make the animals talk, make the car move, pop the balloons, etc. Great game, and my kids don't seem to tire of it.

Toddler love

My 2 year old loves this app. At first I thought that it had a horrible transition between easy and hard puzzles (no medium). But I wasn't giving my child enough credit. It took a week ad he figured out all the puzzles. Well worth the price. Even after you think a puzzle is done, it keeps going. It's saved me a headache in any situation where I have to wait in line. Great product!

My 2 year-old absolutely loves Tozzle!! The puzzles are great and offer help when she needs it. She reaches for my phone asking "I Tozzle? I Tozzle?". It's so cute! I think puzzles are great for kids and I can't lose the pieces to this one. Would be great if there were some option to lock the main button during play to keep her in the game but she's learning not to push it. Really great game!!

Excellent, fun for toddler game

Our twins have had a few dozen games since 14 months old, so we've seen a lot of options. Tozzle is amongst both their favorites, and for good reason. It's fun, interesting, has clever "build" animations, and though not much of an educational game, per se, absolutely helped both kids improve their iPhone touch-screen hand-eye dexterity via the puzzle's "auto-assist" mode. The puzzles range from simple to complex, across a wide range of surprisingly diverse animations. Bravo to the developers -- great concept, well-executed. This App is a must-have ... much appreciated!

My 2 year old's favorite app

I was very pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of content in this app. I had the lite version for a few months and finally decided to buy the full--worth every penny of the $1.99! My spirited son would literally play with it for hours if I let him, there isn't anything that keeps him still for that long. Many of the puzzles are layered, with new "holes" becoming available after a certain number of pieces are placed, so my son is learning focus and feeling good about completing something. He's so proud of himself every time (and so am I!). :) Can't say enough great things about this app, really.

One of the best!

My 4-year-old autistic grandson loves this app. The sounds, colors, and motion really keep his interest. We have been amazed how well he can do the puzzles. So often we don't know how much he is taking in about the world around him, but his visual and fine motor skills really shine through using this app. He comes back to it again and again. Really, really good

I've written my own app for children and doing so has made me a lot more critical of others. Tozzle is pretty much the gold standard, my son loves it and so do I. There's obviously been a lot of love and polish put into this app, it really shows. Things like a circle and arrow which assist if the child drops a piece in the wrong spot three times don't have to be there for the app to work but they show the amount of effort that went into developing this. I strongly recommend it!

Great App for kids

I have twin girls, not quite 3 years old. They both love this app! They sit side by side and play, each one with a different puzzle. They also work cooperatively in the event that one or the other needs help figuring out where a piece may go (an issue that happens less and less). I wish there were more apps like this available, because I would buy those too.

Very entertaining

This is really impressive and I haven't even let the kids try it yet! The later puzzles become more complex and multi-layered in an interesting way. And playing your fingers over the screen to re-activate the sounds can be a hoot! Also, the ones I repeated didn't present pieces in the same order the second time around. Well worth the money!

A wonderful App!

I cannot say how great this app is! Not your usual puzzle app, since it starts out simple and before you know it you are building trains, toy workshops and more. The older kids love the game you can build and play with multiple players, a light flashing, follow-me type game. It helps them see what is under the surface of machines and trains and more. Even adults have enjoyed and marveled at this! Completing a Tozzle Puzzle is only the first step in the fun! Playing with it afterward is genius! Thank you Tozzle!

Awesome! Good use of my money

My son will turn 2 in 2 wks. He loves this app. He has trouble using the slider feature after he completes a puzzle o get to another puzzle ...maybe an easier way to get through this but otherwise, very good to build his comparative skills. They get harder too so it will be a useful app for some time to come...I thinking he will be getting his own itouch soon or I will never see my phone again.

Worth paying for!!

I'm reluctant to spend money on apps for my 2 year old so I tried the lite version first and she flew through all it had to offer, so to quench her desire for more, I bought the full version. Has Lots of puzzles (drag and drop) and the hints it gives if something is wrong keeps her encouraged to keep playing. This is a great game, coming from a Mom who has only paid for two apps in over a year!

Best toddler game bought to date!

My wife and I and have bought various little activity games for our now 17 month old toddler. ***This has been by far the best purchase of the dozen or so games we've tried.*** The puzzle adapts in difficulty so that if he can't find the right spot, it will give a hint arrow. There are 30+ puzzle of various levels of difficulty and educational value. They are not just "place a piece here" and move on, but come with sound bites and sometimes even animation. Lastly, the game shows a nice congratulatory message when he's done with a puzzle. He loves it! In fact, he loves it so much that he has mastered getting out of the puzzle back into the puzzle selection screen to select a new puzzle. :)

While this app is not optimized for the iPad, it runs very well in 2x mode. The only downside is that he pushed accidentally the zoom button a few times, but now he knows how to get it back to 2x. In short, I wouldn't pass up on this app just because it's not universal. However, it would be nice if it were just to avoid the zoom accidents.

One of the best games for preschoolers

Both my 3 and 5 year old love this, understand it, and have for a year... it's a must-have, I'd happily pay more for another bunch of similar puzzles. The upper level ones are layered, and make music, my five year old loves them, and my little one has progressed from the easy puzzles to the medium ones quite happily, I expect to get a solid 3 years out of this game (for the two kids.)

Grandson's LOVE this app.

My 5 & 2 1/2 yr. old Grandson's love to "Tozzle". These puzzles keep them entertained while in the car, while shopping and even while I'm getting my hair done. They love it so much that their parents had to buy the app for their phones so that the boys would go home with them. LOL. We even use this app as incentive for potty training the 2 & 1/2 year old and it's working like a charm.

Great!

My 16 mo old daughter loves this app! She can do about 3/4 of them so far, even the complicated ones! I highly recommend this app. I wish there was an iPad version (although the iPhone version works on the iPad) and I wish there were more of these available for purchase. Keeps her busy for a while! She loves the sounds that the various objects/items make when touched.

3 year old loves it

My three year old has loved this app since he was 2. i only had the free version then and let me say its well worth the upgrade. He loves that when he finshes a puzzle it becomes interactive. Some of the noises and pronouciation sounds a bit odd at times. i like that i can change the difficulty as he got older. great overall. i find myself playing the simon says level on here at times too ^^

We love Tozzle!

This is one of my favorite apps! There are many different skill levels and new puzzles are always being added so my daughter never gets bored. They just added a new puzzle that lets you build a "Tozzle says" game from the inside out and then you get to test your 80's electronic game skills and play the puzzle when it's done! It's the coolest thing!!!

Wonderful app for special needs

A fine app for those with special needs, from cerebral palsy to autism. Changing the difficulty setting from child to infant results in a thankfully less frustrating level of skill required for those with less aptitude in accurate dragging and dropping. Why anyone would rate this 1-star is beyond me.

Love it!

We've had this app for well over a year, and its one of those apps the kids keep going back to! Over the many months, It has gone from just a few 'puzzles' to many many puzzles.

We have been super pleased with every update.

Best Purchase Made for Daughter

I've had this app over a year & my daughter still plays it. She loves it when updates add new puzzles. She still plays old ones too. I used the lite version for awhile & it's good as well, but it is worth the upgrade to the full version. Tozzle is up to so many puzzles now - great app for little ones. Keeps her entertained when we are out to eat & waiting for food, on car trips, & in the airport. Worth the price!

My daughter's favorite!!

Love this app!! My nearly 3 year old daughter has been playing with it for the last year and still loves it - she shows people, "watch me puzzle!" The puzzles that build as you put them together are the best and then she gets to play with the interactive part as a reward! For anyone who thinks like me...the puzzle piece sequence is random, so no, the kids don't just memorize the order the pieces are coming out - that was super important to me. My only complaint is she has my old iPhone 3 and all the great updates are only good on iPhone 4 so the little stinker steals my phone to play! :o) Great job - thank you! Best kids app! Really awesome

A friend suggested this. My daughter started with the easy puzzles and does all of them now. What's awesome about this app is every month or two there is an update(for FREE) with new puzzles interactive even, like a Simon says that you build, then can play, very, very, cool. My daughter (2) get very excited when I tell her "new Tozzle puzzles!" this is the app of choice for restaurants when we want to finish eating, she plays this on the phone, and we finish eating. I wish the developer made more apps!!

Best App on the Market, Esp for Pre-Verbal and ESL Kids!!

I babysit a young child born in the Asian jungle. When she arrived in the US she was quite overwhelmed and anxious. She spoke only an obscure Asian dialect, which no one around her knew. While we got to know each other, and I learned some key words and phrases, it was hard to find any way for her to entertain herself. I downloaded some apps for kids which don't require English language skills.

THIS was the one app that worked for her. It's very thoughtfully conceived; colorful, engaging, offers a surprising number of puzzles, which range from simple to complex, and no matter what language you speak, or no language, all kids appreciate the musical fanfare which launches when they complete the task successfully.

Huge variety for many ages

We have had this app for almost a year now and I'm incredibly impressed with how much my daughter still uses it. She is just over 3 and this is in her top 5 daily go-to apps, still after all this time! It offers enough variety to grow with her where other apps become too easy or boring (such as Monkey Preschool or Wheels on The Bus). It has a wonderful range and variety of puzzles suitable for a variety of ages, and she seems to constantly discover new elements to a puzzle (animations or secret sounds). I'm actually surprised with how much this app impresses me since I'm usually so dissatisfied with the quality children's apps. This was one of the first kids apps I paid for and still one of our very best purchases. Certainly have gotten our $2 worth many times over.

My 2 and 1/2 year old son LOVES this game. He will sit and play it as long as I will let him. And he is so smart with it. He can do it very easily. Geat App. I would suggest this to anyone. Well worth the money!! Must have App! But PLEASE make it for the iPad. His papaw seen how much he liked my phone and his apps on here. So he went and bought him an iPad. He will be devastated is he can't get this game. This is his favorite. So PLEASE make one for the iPad . I will most def buy it! Thank you!

Nice toddler app

Bought after trying the free version . My 2 yo plays almost daily, he Loves the train and car that run. Nice sound effects also. I like this app very much. Some puzzles are too complicated, but as he ages should be fine. (he really uses only about 5 puzzles at this point). Would love if u added more simples ones ,perhaps a plane:). I recomend highly. Well worth the price .

Great App

I've bought many apps and this is the best one by far! My little girl has been playing w it for over a month now. Pretty impressive when you see she's only 20 months. She plays very independently w the game. It guides her when she isn't sure where the piece should go. She also very quickly learned how to exit the puzzle and select another. One of the best apps for a toddler out there!! 

Two-year-old

My toddler picks this game first among the many toddler games I've downloaded. It has lots of puzzles and a great variety. I wish it had more of the involved puzzles, because he's got them all memorized at this point, but there are a lot of puzzles there to start with - way more than $1.99 worth! The exit button doesn't always seem to work, but my kid just exits the game and comes back in...

HOURS of enjoyment for our 2.5 year old

I now will be buying another iPad because once I put this app on there, my 2.5 year daughter monopolizes it. Much to our amazement, She has mastered most every puzzle. The fact that she can click on the puzzle objects after they have been placed and they make sounds creates endless fun for her, and noise for us!

Disappointed at the pay version.

My daughter really enjoyed the "Free" version of Tozzle, so I upgraded to the full verson. That has gone buggy on me. When she finishes a map and clicks/slides the exit ICON, the Tozzle selection screen shows up in PORTRAIT, with a large white space taking up the bottom 3rd of the screen. After selecting and playing a new screen (from the portrait display), the exit icon no longer works. It grays out when you press it, and never gives the slider to exit the board. It's pretty disappointing that these bugs don't show up in the free app, but it all falls apart on the paid version.

Best toddler App!

My two-year old daughter absolutely loves this App. She finds the iPod, turns it on and immediately goes to this game and starts playing. She really likes the new duck jigsaw puzzle and the "harder" puzzles (the train is also a huge favorite). We are constantly amazed at how fast she's getting really good at these puzzles. Please keep updating and adding more puzzles, this App is the best App out there for kids!!

Best App I Have

If you have one app to buy for your child, this is it! I've had tozzle on my iPhone for nearly a year and it is still my 3 year old son's favorite app. We showed this app to my 5 year old nephew and he loved it too. It kept both of them entertained for a long time. It's a life saver in restaurants, airports, and the car. I love the update with the new and more detailed pictures. Buy this one!!!

The kids love it!

I work at a daycare and children from 1-yr-old through schoolage love doing these puzzles. The app not only helps them improve hand-eye coordination, it also teaches them to take turns and respect each other's space. The company is always adding more puzzles, and having the names of the pieces spoken does help the children learn them. The accents of the words vary a little, but not much more than those of the parents who use our daycare.

Since the last update, the app has frozen a few times, but I’m sure it will be fixed quickly. Disabling the new exit slider might help, but the old exit icon was too easy to accidentally activate (very frustrating when a child has almost completed a puzzle).

My 2.5 yr old loves it

I downloaded the free version and my kid play it 2-3 times and then of course wanted to try the other puzzles that are visible but inactive in the free one. Smart marketing. You know that was intentional. So I bought the full version. I didn't mind. It's one of the few apps for toddlers I've found that has variety enough to keep him interested for more than 3 minutes yet simple enough that he can successfully play it. Well done.

It does have one major flaw though, IMO. The numbers and letters are in this weird, ambiguous script font that is difficult for new learners to recognize. If they were in a basic font like arial that would be helpful and i would give this app 5 stars instead of 3.5.

It's Gratifying How My Kids Play With This

I'm happy seeing my children (2, 3) playing with this educational toy. They get really focussed in their work of dragging things around. I think they have much improved in recognizing Roman letters and it cheers them on when they have filled in a puzzle. In general, I think the app is well done, has been stable and is smooth and launches quickly.

Some smaller elements could be easier to drag onto their target, and of course it would be nice if there was more content.

I will gladly change this review to a five when the mechanic no longer says "oh my G*d." I don't want my niece and nephew thinking that is okay to take the Lord's name in vain. please change. There are infinate better alternatives. Otherwise this is a great game. I was excited to see the update, but then upset when I tried it out. I am glad I reviewed it before giving it to the little ones in my life.

Great game!

My three and a half year old granddaughter loves it. It is designed for right handers, so I request the developers create a setting for lefties to flip the location of the picture source (top right) and the button that takes you to the home screen (bottom left). As it is now, she often slides her left hand, the hand she drags with, over and exits the game unexpectedly. Also she cannot see the guiding arrows as her hand obscured them...

Wonderful game!

I got the free version of this app first, since, to be honest, it didn't seem all that impressive to me. My 3 1/2 year old daughter strongly disagreed with me on that, though. She absolutely loves it, and it's usually the first game she goes for when she gets to play with Mommy's phone. I just downloaded the update with the new puzzles, and I had to tear the phone away from her to do this review! Thanks for a great job on this.

My toddler's top favorite app

Nodeflexion says it developed Tozzle with the help of toddlers (genius!), and boy I can believe it, since it's my almost-3-year-old boy's top favorite iPhone app. He loves the puzzle format with the funny reward sounds and arrows that help him if he's had a few false tries. He's also learned the word "Congratulations" from the floating word with the happy party music when he finishes each puzzle. I gave it 5 stars for all these things, though I'd love to see some more educational aspects like other reviewers -- such as the option to name all the objects, and maybe some alphabet and color action as well as the shapes and numbers -- and more puzzles would be great. Overall, this is a superb app -- especially for active toddlers whose grasp of touch-and-drag appears to have been absorbed in utero. :)
