I really like this game. There are 2 problems, both in the word list. First one is I've put in legal words like sizzle or drizzle and the game says "not in dictionary". Second problem is words are either spelled wrong or they were words I did not even use. I still recommend this game highly. Thank you for a great game. Dot. Extra review note, this is the best game! New post: since when is Christ and Christmas not in the dictionary? Please check your dictionary. Merriam Webster has these words. As of 9/28/18 still love this game but why isn't the word Olympic not in the dictionary? Dot please answer these questions.

Great Game, Great Service

I have played WordJong for several years and it is a part of my daily routine. I just got an iPhone X and could not figure how to close the app after a game without a “home” button. It doesn’t swivel when the phone is moved from horizontal to vertical as do many other apps. I couldn’t figure out how to close the app and contacted their Support. They got right back to me and taught me about the “grey bar” that I can swipe from the bottom in either view. Thanks, Gameblend, for your game, for your Support, and for teaching me something about my new iPhone!

I love this!

Word Jong is fantastic. I play it to relax. My only "complaint", and just an ego thing, is that there's no way to see what the highest score was, and by how much I beat it. It only shows the new high score. Lol.

I was seriously stressed when the latest update was needed. But you came through, and in addition, made improvements. Well done, and Thank You!

DEVS REFUSE TO UPDATE

PLEASE UPDATE. IOS WILL DELETE THE APP!

Been playing since it came out. This is how I've started my day for years. Keep in the brain sharp. So utterly disappointed they won't update. Probably a few tweaks and it would be done. Lazy arses. I don't like ur company now

Like the reviewer before me said, love starting my day with Word Jong. I play it every morning to wake up my brain. I wish it had the websites dictionary attached to it. Some words that should be accepted aren't. But that's really a challenge. Keep up the good work! And don't change the layout!!!

Wording accessibility...

Very nice game....it would be nice to be able to access the game at midnight , East coast time. It usually can only be accessed at 3am east coast time.

Please move game board over to the left so we can get to Saturday's challenge. I've played everyday for years with the exception of a few Saturday's that I can't open. Love this game!

I've been playing this everyday for almost 5 years. It's the best game in my collection.

But there is a problem when I travel to different time zones, especially when the time change is more than three hours. When you complete a game it will show that it's the next day's puzzle that has been defeated. If you have a high score for that day, when you try to play the next day's puzzle, you have to beat your high score for the previous day.

Can't access Saturday games

Good game but if I miss the Saturday game, it can't be accessed because it's blocked by a picture. If this were fixed, I'd give it 5 stars.

Please fix the new bug. Unable to play any Saturday games

The high score drop down on the app covers the Saturday column for the entire month making the user unable to select and play any of the games in that column.

My only complaint is that you can't get back into the Saturday games on other days. Need to fix this bug to get 5 stars.

Addictive, Then Rejected

Some games are easier than others, but the game quickly sucked me in! Fun, challenging, and the database has plenty of words so you will not be penalized for knowing obscure words. (Added June 2015) Last year, I deleted the game because it was interfering with an audio app, then reinstalled several months later. Then I deleted it because it rejected some fairly obvious words such as “olympic.” Then I reinstalled a few months ago to give it one more chance. The last straw(s) was its acceptance of “tireder.” Seriously. It accepts “Jesus” but it rejects all other cultural/religious words. Maybe that is a subtle suggestion that I do not need this game any more.

My Favorite Way to Get the Brain Going

Still remains my favorite way wake up my night owl brain. Grab a cup of coffee and do your puzzle for the day. An addictive brain game for first thing in the morning or anytime. Not too hard, not too easy, love it!

I play this game every night before I go to sleep, if I haven't already played it at some point during the day. Sometimes I used legitimate words that this dictionary doesn't recognize! You guys need to load a larger or more sophisticated dictionary. It seems as if words are censored. 'Shat' a perfectly legitimate past tense is not recognized, as have been many other slightly obscure words. Very frustrating. Please look into the use of a larger dictionary.

One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite word game apps. On the technical side, it has never had a glitch and has always started up quickly.

Game play is fun and relaxing. They also give you a new game everyday. If you don't play it, the game stays there waiting for you. You can go back and play or replay games for past months. It's a simple layout, but it works.

I feel like I definitely got my money's worth.

The play itself is great, recommend to any word game lovers.

One recommendation to the developer is to allow the player to view the list of words played up to that point during the game. It's frustrating to wonder if you should back up (undo) or not, especially if you're continuing a game from the previous day. Still worthy of 5 stars.
