Whenever I exit out the meeting app while in meeting, I hear cracking noise and robotic noise. It’s very irritating and can’t even understand what people are speaking.

I have had the opportunity to use multiple web meeting apps during this working from home period, Webex is by far the worst of any app. Constant issues connecting VOIP and displaying video. Even if I turn off WiFi, audio does not play and I routinely experience certificate issues. Running on 2019 12.9 iPad Pro. Of the half-dozen such apps that I use, Webex is the only one that I have issues.

Our first grade class has not been able to learn anything in the last two days! Teacher is unable to share her screen with the class since her last update. Connection is always glitchy. Kids are not learning anything at this rate.

Mobile app for iphone does not allow you to completely turn off the volume when listening to a conference (only lowers the volume on your phone to a minimal level).

Every day I log onto this program for class and it doesn’t seem to like us. It always crashes five minutes in please fix it

at first, you could have unlimited time per meeting and use voice and audio. then, after the pandemic died out a little bit, they limited each meeting to 50 minutes. that wasn’t too too bad, but it still kinda sucked. to put the cherry on top though, now it’s still only 50 minutes per meeting, but you need to pay for the premium to use voice and audio, otherwise you’re only locked to typing to chat with people. the premium is over $100 per year. definitely not worth it at all

I hate this

After installing iOS 14, I saw that this app is recording audio even if you are on mute. No wonder it uses so much battery.

There is an audio breakup issue on iPadOS 14, it happens while switching app or even iPad orientation.

In the update its very hard to quickly notice whether audio is muted or not. Earlier the icons were very prominent for mute/unmuted. Now its same color.

I don’t like it I mean I hate it what 25 to 29 participants join the meeting it is better but it still crashes and bandwidth is the blocker I can’t even see the teacher and when the bandwidth ends and finally the teacher can see me if the meeting did not end how will she see me the meeting will end at that time my meeting is from 9am to 3pm and bandwidth started at 10:07am and the teacher could not see me til 2:59 it lasts only one hour and seven minutes 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 and it keeps on crashing and freezing why does it do this it takes a long time to reconnect and I stay in the lobby and I miss my meeting it is janky I don’t like it just look back at the title I hate it there is a developer response at the end of a bad review and mine will soon get a developer response because I don’t like it and in all of my reviews I hate it and I mostly hate Webex Webex is a worse version of zoom and you don’t have any option of stopping bandwidth the students are the host for a long time and I became the host too which easily gave me a chance to end the meeting it is so simple just tap the screen once and click on the black button with three dots on the bottom of the screen and then click on lock meeting and then the meeting ends and when another student joins the meeting it will say cannot join the meeting on the top and it will say the meeting has not started yet on the bottom and at those times only the host can join the meeting and then the meeting starts and if you click on the screen once on the top it will say the name of the meeting and before that no other student can join the meeting including my teacher and my students keep on unmuting me no fair I am never going to use this app even my mom shouted I hate it science COVID 19 has started do not force me to rate this 5 stars or I will rate this 1 star once you fix everything I will rate this 5 stars

I’m not a teacher, I’m a student and I think there should be a “Kick out of meeting” option for teachers because I didn’t know how infuriating it would be for a random student to join a class meeting and just start saying slurs and be disruptive. I feel this would really help prevent the amount of disruptions a teacher would get when encountering a difficult student who won’t leave the meeting. I really hope you take this into consideration so my teachers and I don’t have to deal with troublesome students in the future.

This is the worst app like it’s so bad it dont make no sense

This is a great app, but why take away the mirror image self-view with no option to change it back? So annoying. It’s distracting when I’m on a call. Fix this please!!!

We have been using WebEx for a number of years. We wanted to upgrade our service so we contacted our sales rep. Instead of giving us a quote to upgrade our service, he generated a quote with our company name misspelled and with an incorrect address. We asked him to correct this and to date, he has not only not corrected it, he continually requests that we sign an agreement with this incorrect info and blames WebEx IT for the problem.

We contacted the sales number at the WebEx website and were informed that this guy created a fake company to generate the quote. We asked to simply have a quote for our company to move to their full training and event suite with a couple of add ons. For some reason, Cisco has complicated this sales process so much that you cannot simply purchase the services you need, when you need them. This new rep said he would check into whether he could even generate a quote for us to make a purchase since WebEx forbids it because of the way they assign accounts.

We even worked with their “life cycle” specialist who was helpful but did not have the ability to process the sale for us or to get us a sales rep who could help. At this point I am being left with no choice but to move our company over to Zoom simply because we cannot purchase the services we need from WebEx because of this ridiculous sales process.

Seems like since the recent update I now see my video in mirror view (flipped) which is super annoying and there’s no way to change it in the app. Can’t stand it.

Webex come on! Today multiple audio issues by many users. Audio not connecting. These users are all in different cities and countries. The app also needs the mute button more prominent like it was in RED. Now one must have extremely good vision or cannot see if they are muted. Since Webex made that change many more mtgs with background noise. This is because of the same issue they thought they were on mute yet when they looked again they had trouble if they were it were not on mute. Fix this please. And even with the most latest version audio problems continue. Yes the recent version

I DONT LIKE SCHOOL

With the newest update, your camera is flipped from before and you do not have the option to flip it back. This is extremely annoying since when you move your head to the left, the video will show that you moved right! I strongly suggest they give you the option to flip back your camera in the next App update. By the way, this is only a problem on the App. With desktop version, they already give you the option.

I can’t properly rate the app because it’s not possible to get past the login page on iPhone.

The app runs solid but theres so much junk in the way of the stream. Terrible for online classes when the screen is cluttered with the user interface.

I don’t know if the reviews is to remove this but here’s the thing. WebEx is glitchy. The audio can disconnect from time to time and it’s hard to distinguish if you’re muted or not. Also, to share your screen you have to be a host, this gives my classmates many many, MANY chance to end the meeting. Also the login is a bit confusing, and overall this app is a worse version of zoom. Sorry but like please fix this. I do not need a low grade

On the original WebEx I can look at participants, see everyone, and also use the chat. On this stupid app I can’t do anything like that. I use this WebEx for school and I thought this app would help but it really does NOT. PLEASE FIX DEVELOPERS

No problems with this app. I’m even able to connect in the car and able to meet (parked, of course - don’t drive and meet!) while connected to my car stereo Bluetooth.

There’s really no reason to use any other meeting platform (and frankly I’m kind of annoyed when I get invited to use others)! 😂

Today was my first day of virtual learning for school, and this app worked SO WELL! Of course it was laggy sometimes, but not often! It was super easy to understand and use!

This app doesn’t work well on phone or computer.On the computer all it does is glitch and on the phone it doesn’t show the faces of the other people or yourself. Just a terrible app all the way around😤

My school uses this app as an alternative for zoom. In all of the weeks I’ve used zoom and webex, I can tell zoom runs faster and is less buggy, despite it being a newer app. The button features on bottom of screen in webex are really buggy, and sometimes don’t show up at all. Takes quite the time to load into the meeting in comparison to the faster zoom. I am forced to use webex, and if I had a choose, I would use zoom.

Instead of continuing to add new features and force them on to people, why don’t you get the basics working again. For years I never had problems with joining a meeting and having my audio work over car play and now it never seems to work right the first time.

This app behaves like an engineering app from 2005. The interface is not intuitive and adds unnecessary cognitive load to a casual user.

This is the worst video calling service I’ve ever had to work with! It is so consistent on crashing when logging in. Oh! Did I mention logging in? Even on chromebook, logging in is INFURIATING!!!

It was working fine then all of a sudden it kept asking me for a password

The iPhone experience for Webex is very good and I use it for almost half of my meetings if not more. It’s very quick and reliable and overall does exactly what I need for business meetings. It’s great to see the virtual background feature is out and bring able to share my iPhone screen is useful too.

I’ve never seen such a FUBAR registration procedure / epic fail in any similar app.

I use this app everyday, and in general find it very useful.

One UI fail in the latest update on IPad: when people are speaking, their name covers the mute/unmute button, which makes it challenging to toggle it when you want to speak.

I am using this app for school and the desktop version automatically loads the password. However, the app version requires me to have the password and those are not available to students. So this app is useless.

The UI is terrible. No user options that allow you to arrange the various things you want to view in a useful way. The things you can change are impossible to figure out because there are no user friendly buttons, instructions or explanations.

The sign up/sign in process is absolutely atrocious.

Tried using the Google account option. Got to “Enter new website” step. What does that mean? No help icon. No explanation. No alternatives. Nothing. Dead end.

Tried signing up for an account on their website. No option to use Google account, so I entered my gmail address. Got through the verification process. WebEx asked for me to create a pin. Typed in a four-digit pin. Clicked to submit. Got a “null” screen. Again, no help. No explanation. No alternatives. Dead end.

Went back to the app. Tried to sign in. Got the error message “Your Google account is not linked to WebEx.” Then the helpful directions to “sign in to WebEx to link your google account to your WebEx account.”

What an atrocious and absurd process. I abandoned this app (and WebEx altogether right then and there). If they can’t make the sign up process smooth, I really don’t want to experience their product.

Too bad they’ve duped so many companies into using WebEx. Now I’m stuck using it with certain clients.

But I’m sure WebEx’s product teams are right on top of improving this experience [eye roll]. Nope. Probably pumping out more bad design without fixing their current problems.

I don’t like the new mute button in the most recent update. I liked that it would turn red when you were muted. Now you have to pay attention to the icon, not just the color. Please fix this. Everything else is fine.
