A must-have
But there are problems that should be fixed. The interface is clumsy unintuitive and hideous. There are far too many menus that are not on screen, so you have to click a button to bring up a screen just to add one type of suited connectors; then you need to pull up the offscreen menu again to add 1-gappers! And again for mid pairs, and again etc etc... Compare using this to the computer version where everything is beautifully laid-out on one screen. And don't tell me it can't be done because it is on a phone.
I cant find any menu to change the hand ranking systems.
When you add hands to a range you have to press the add button. There is an auto-add/tap button but it only works for adding; you still have to press the remove button to take hands off.
Take EV is far superior to this program in its ease of use and speed of entry; you can easily punch in the range using different ranking systems with the slider, auto add and remove for punching hands in. So easy to then remove each hand that is given up by villain on each street till you get to the river with his final range on the river. So beautiful, intuitive, and powerful.
So why is this app(poker cruncher for apple devices) a must-have? It has extra power/functionality that Take EV does not. Maybe i haven't searched enough but these seem to be the main two programs. Imo you'll need both because this one is powerful but has a clumsy wreck of an interface, so you will mainly not want to use it but has extra features you will need and I'm glad i have it.

Great tool for analyzing hands
This is a great tool to use at or away from the poker table. The interface is intuitive. Besides analyzing simple percentages, the app lets you select ranges when estimating your equity against other hands. Worth the price of admission, highly recommended. Nice to see updates from the author, too.

THE Poker Calculator
I use for doing equity analysis vs hand ranges. Eye opening stuff shifting from putting an opponent on a specific hand vs a range of hands and the app makes this so easy to do. I especially like the Heat Map option, basically this lets you dig into the opponents range of hands to see the equity vs specific hands in the range to gauge how many hands in his range you may be ahead of. Great for helping with value betting decisions. The developer is super responsive to inquires as well. I emailed him a question and heard back within an hour, wasn't expecting that at all. So much more I could gush about...hands down the best poker calculator out there. If your serious about improving your game, this is the ticket.

Great App for Calculations and Training
For someone who is somewhat serious about poker, this app is perfect. Didn't really know the math behind all the calculations on TV. Now I've learned where these percentages come from. The only thing that may vary from this app to other sites is hand ranking system for a player's range, but I guess that varies from site to site.

Pokerstove in your pocket only better. Wow. I just got it a few hours ago but I am absolutely sure it'll improve my game. Plus, it'll give me something to do in early position when I play live. Lol.

Best/Simplest app I have found for calculating your plays. Many times it has either justified or shown me how wrong my decisions were, so it's a great learning tool. This doesn't help with actually playing against others. Nor does it simulate playing others were you only see your hand. It would be nice to just see your hand and the table cards with a % of your win probability.

Best Poker App, nothing else comes close!
This app is amazing and can do it all, it's quick an easy. It has greatly improved my game, if you plan on taking poker seriously then you have to understand odds/ranges/equity. I recommend all of their apps. My favorite use of this app is for tilt/ego control after big pots. I can quickly see how good/bad the call was, by me or my opponent. (one of my favorite spots is to check if I had the right odds to call a loose aggressive player that raises/bets strong on the river. After the hand it's nice to see where your top & bottom two pair fairs against his range that includes everything from bottom two/flopped set/running nut straight). I also like to record the hands live, immediately after they happen, then take a screen shot so I can analyze them later (not having to remember if the turn brought back door clubs, etc.) I would easily pay over $100 for this app, if I necessary, and more if I knew my opponents couldn't use it.

Would pay more for this app
I've had this app for probably close to a year on both of my iDevices and it is a must for any recreational or serious poker player. It's so much fun even just messing around with the features and looking at the numbers and statistics. More than worth the cost of downloading.

Great App
This tool is really useful to later analyze decisions made in the heat of battle. Also for planning "what if" strategy - equity of JJ versus probable range of loose player in my game!
The ability to enter hand ranges is much more valuable than entering only specific hands, as most other tools limit you to.
Add the ability to see odds to a certain point in the hand (flop/turn/river) that shows the implications of playing a hand faster/slower.
Never used pokerstove but have used this in strategy planning already, with success!

The others 5 star reviews are right. Pokerstove is an excellent app and this one is better. Super easy to use and fast. And the convenience of having it on your iPhone makes it easier to use as an educational tool for yourself. Powerful learning tool
After reading some bad reviews, I was tempted not to buy this app. Reading further I guessed some reviews were inaccurate and misleading. I suppose it's common for people to misunderstand probabilities and Monte Carlo simulations.
I have been toying around with this app for the past few days and I am very satisfied with it. It does take some time to learn how to use it properly, but you'll be rewarded if you persevere.
I would give this app 5 stars if the user-interface was cleaner, but regarding what truly matters, i.e. the calculations, it's quite impressive.

Great App!
This is pokerstove for your iPhone. Great app and interface is pretty good as well. My only suggestion/bug is that slider for putting in a % of hands when doing a hand range needs to increase and decrease by 1% intervals. Currently the slider can be moved ever so slightly to select different hand ranges but the % is displayed is the same. For example if you choose top 20% of hands, you could move the slider just enough to include or not include K7s.
That's only minor but otherwise an awesome app. Great for doing EV calculations.

A perfect gem.
Never cared about an app enough to write a review until this one. This app is a must have. It does everything that a poker calc should, but it does even more that most don't. For example, this doesn't require an internet connection to run. All of the other ones require one. The device calculations don't drain the battery like you'd think they would, and the results are always accurate and repeatable. The publisher has frequent updates to keep it current, and they listen to feature requests.
This is a great app and the ipod CPU runs it perfectly. Works so well for those times when you aren't sure about a situation at a table and you wondered what your odds were against his range. If you are downloading this to use it while playing online, you are an idiot. This is designed for live players who need a quick query while the tournament is on break.
This absolutely does not deserve any of the 1 star votes it has recieved, it seems to be someone sabotaging it, as very few of them have left any review at all. I travel a lot to play in poker tournaments, and I've been a successful player for years. This app is on my front page of must-haves.

This could be a big problem...
Does anybody else get this result too? I set a game up with just two players, player one with Aceheart and Acediamond, player two with the king and queen of spades. I gave the community the ten-jack-ace of spades, completing player two's royal flush, and also gave the community the ace of clubs plus a seven or something, completing player one's 4 of a kind. With all cards down, this app gave player one the 100% equity. Does this app really believe a 4ace hand beats a royal flush??? If that's the case, can we really trust any of the other odds in this app? I tried other things, like holding back the river card, and setting up a small pair vs. a royal flush draw, and it would still give the small pair 100% equity. Does this app even know what a straight flush is???

Simply Awesome
This is my first ever review for an iPhone app, out of a hundred or so I've used. The easy to use, simple but elegant user interface is great. You can not beat the hand range feature, and the other tools are all useful and powerful. This really is pretty much PokerStove on your iPhone. Highly recommend this.

Excellent app
This is the best poker odds calculator I've found for the iPhone so far. It does the usual calculations for specific hands and with random hole cards. But it also allows you to set ranges of hands for one or more players. Advanced poker players try to put their opponents on a range of hands (not just two exact cards) and then make their decisions based on how the ranges play against their own hand. Also, PokerCruncher has some nice displays for the odds of catching draws of various kinds which helps you to understand whether or not your opponents might have hit a flop, for example. I've checked the numbers that PokerCruncher computes versus well known poker calculators on my desktop and they seem to agree. Overall, very well done app.

Amazing odds app
Compared the calculations with WSOP odds on tv and they were dead on. Also, there are so many options for answering any scenario you can possibly think of. Best poker odds app I've seen by far. Worth every penny.

If you play Texas Holdem - This is a must have application!
The strongest feature of the program is that it lets you calculate the odds against random hands. The program uses a Monte Carlo simulation that generates tens of thousands of random hands to converge on accurate odds and stats within seconds. The only weakness is that the results are given in percentages only instead having the option of seeing them displayed as odds such as 4:1.
