Description
Okey is a board game similar to Rummikub.
The game is played by four players, so other three players are managed by AI.
Okey is played with a set of numbered tiles with four different colors. During the game each player has a hand of 14 tiles. On each turn a player draws one tile and then discards one tile. The object of the game is to be the first to form a hand that consists entirely of sets (equal numbered tiles) and runs (consecutive tiles of the same color).
Detailed help with rules and illustrations is included.

One complaint!
I love this game! My one complaint is not being able to see how many times I've won/lost. I like a personal challenge but I can't do it without a record keeper

Always Lose
I have two Okey games on my iPhone; this one and one called Okey Extra.
On this Okey game, my win:lose ratio is around 5:95 but on Okey Extra, my win:lose ratio is about 45:55. Guess which Okey game I'm going to keep on my phone?
I love challenging games, but I don't love constantly losing. Losing 95% of the games is extremely frustrating and just plain boring.
If you want an Okey game who's AI always beats you, then by all means buy Adikus's Okey app for $1.99. But if you want a challenging Okey game while still having a fair chance of winning, buy Ahoy Games' Okey Extra. Not only is it $1 cheaper than this app, but it's also Universal, meaning you won't have to purchase another copy of it in order to have it on both your iPhone and iPad.

okey is more than ok
it's addicting. some of the rules could b better explained and in the future I hope they can correct some of the
situations where tiles jump or the winning tiles simply are not recognizes if they but up to another set of numbers.

GREAT APP!
I am hooked! I just wish it could be possible to drop a tile between two tiles and they would slide over to make room, rather than having to slide them over and the drop a tile.

Could be better
I like this game. I am engaged for a long time. I did not give 5 stars because there should be a better way to move the tiles - touch and drop rather than hold and slide. Also I think the auto game players get the Indicator tile more than statistically right.

Just like Rummikub except you can't play off other player's tiles. The only other player's hand you see is the winner's. I've been addicted for a few months & it's still fun. At first I couldn't figure out how to discard my last tile to win the game. Discard it to the draw pile. Also, computer cheats by drawing from my discard pile and immediately discarding if the following player needs it. This shouldn't be allowed.

Different version
Overall I am thoroughly pleased with the look and play of this app. Very fun. However, I feel that there is another version of this game that should be addressed.
In short, it consists of the same basic rules, however, you can "meld" your first 50 points (face value) onto the table, and after you meld, you can add to other player's runs and sets. The first player to place all of his tiles onto the table wins.
Adding these set of rules as an option or as another fame within the app would be perfect. And definitely worth more than $2. Please consider in next update!

This is a very well designed and polished app. AI is decent and moving the pieces feels like the real thing. If you already know okey, it is a no-brainer, buy this immediately. If you don't, the rules are explained nicely and it is definitely worth your time to learn.

I started playing okey ever since I was 7 yrs. Old and I am now 16 yrs old and I know how to play this game. But for some reason everytime my hand is done it won't let me win. Can someone help me? Or I would really like to have my money back.

Rules kinda confusing
Their explanation of false jokers is so confusing it's not even funny. Currently rewritten as:
There are two special tiles in the game (marked as "*") - "false jokers". After becoming joker, a tile's number and color does not matter. To have simple tiles with the same number and color as joker tile had before, "false jokers" are used.
The samples they give in the instructions are fine but reading the above totally threw me.
I'll write developer to ask him to reword it to this:
There are two special tiles in the game (marked as "*") - "false jokers". False jokers value is determined by the face up tile color plus 1 and are not wild and can only be used as their value. Example: face up is green 8, then two * tiles have a value of a green 9 and can only be used as a green 9 in runs and groups.
Ex. 1) Face Up: blue 8.
Two Jokers are the two blue 9 tiles (face up, same color + 1) and are wild. red 2, red 3, blue 9, red 4 form a run.
Two False Jokers are the * tiles and they are the face value (face up, same color + 1) and not wild. blue 8, * false joker, blue 10, blue 11 form a run.
Ex. 2) Face Up: green 2
Two Jokers are the green 3 tiles and are wild
Two False Jokers * have face value green 3.
As far as gameplay goes I'm still getting a feel fort. Losing most of the time. Then I'll come back and give it a proper rating.
Someone asked how you signal how you won. Remember to win you must make all runs, or all groups or a combination thereof with 14 tiles NOT 15 tiles. When you draw you have 15 tiles but must discard the last one. So you must discard one tile to win. It does say in the instructions "To expose the winning hand, 15th tile is discarded and placed on the bank". Bank is next to the face up tile in the middle. You must also separate each run or group with a space as it says in the instructions.
