This app is great. But then, you installed ads. Come on. I see the purpose of them, but they aren’t for things I like or need. Sometimes the ads interrupt my song, and they aren’t even helpful ads!! Pro tip: tap learn more. It’ll take you to Safari, then force close Safari, and you’re back at your song!! I don’t use any of these ads, and they give me thirty second long ads for podcasts I wouldn’t even like. Could you at least tailor the podcast ads to something I’d actually be interested in? That brings me to my next point. Why can’t I select my favorite genre of PODCAST like I can music? That way the podcast ads will actually be something I would like. And also, please only put ads when you change stations, because sometimes it’s an ad for something I wouldn’t even like, and then a song I don’t like! Also, it seems that after I run out of skips, it doesn’t play the songs I like. What?? Before I run out of skips it plays all the songs I’ve liked. After I run out of skips, it doesn’t play ANY of those songs! Also, the app unlikes songs that I’ve liked. I don’t enjoy this and it’s really annoying. I don’t know if this has been fixed, but it’s super annoying having to check if the song I’m listening to is liked or not. It’s still a good app though, despite flaws.

What happened April 1st? I hoped it was an April Fools joke when I turned on my Classic Soul Station at 2:30 AM for my bike ride and every 20 minutes there were almost 5 minutes of commercials...the same commercials every time!
Not a joke as it’s been like that ever since.

I love what the app gives me access to, however, it constantly freezes when opening and trying to use it. I have to force close and reopen it multiple times to be able to use it at all, otherwise it just freezes on the last station and doesn’t respond.

I’m sick to heard adds all the time especially when I wanna heard foreign radio stations.
Why we have to listen those long adds??
And now in the 50’s, 70’s & 90’s stations we are listening adds.

I’m a literal “radio head” . I soak up most of my local stations on a regular radio, and listen to almost every genre. I traveled a lot for work and would find great stations in other cities and states and would take note to listen to them again when I’d return. Now that technology is booming I can listen to almost every radio station ( some are on that other app) that I love . I use IHeartRadio daily. It’s great for pretty much all of your listening needs. The streaming stations they have created are great and you can build your own playlists or stations also. The podcasts are really good too and they have pretty much everything. The only issue I have is searching and it’s mostly podcasts. I can put the exact name of a podcast and it won’t show up. I’m an all access subscriber and It happens almost every time. The last one I searched for didn’t come up ,so I went to the website for that podcast and they had a button for IHeartRadio so I pushed it and it opened the app and went to the podcast. That’s frustrating to say the least but it’s not a deal breaker . Keep on making it as great as possible.

I am trying to listen to the ball game and the game keeps getting interrupt by ads. Final straw was an ad from Sean Hannity as Chris Taylor got a hit. I get that it’s free, but run the ads during the commercial breaks. Zero stars if I could!!!

Why when I find an artist that I want to listen to and click all songs, then pick a song ... does it only play one song then go though that bands “station”??
I don’t want to listen to a specific album nor do I want to listen to another artist. This is infuriating. If this is a user error, please let me know and I’ll update my rating but it’s frustrating. I previously cancelled my unlimited membership and went to prime music which allows you to do this with no issue. Then I forgot about this annoyance and reactivated my membership. Now, I’m ready to cancel it again bc to me this is a deal breaker.

Please omg can you just make it so podcast episodes auto play FORWARDS instead of backwards??
Example: When I start a podcast by listening to episode 1, once that (& subsequent) episode is over, I always end up having to MANUALLY go back to the list of episodes, scroll all the way down, and select the next episode (ex., episode 2) because otherwise auto play either skips to an out of order random episode, or backtracks and starts playing the last episode that came before it, THE ONES I HAVE ALREADY LISTENED TO!! WHY is this an issue? For such a large and popular podcast platform, this seems like really basic stuff.
When episode one is over, automatically move UPWARDS onto episode 2! Not backwards onto episode Zero/Introduction.
Does this not make sense??

I have no problem with commercials; I understand it’s free to use. But really- hearing the ZipRecruiter commercial 10+ times an hour gets really old. Especially on a flagship stream of 1200 WOAI.

The app is OK, but the audio being submitted by Y 103, WYFM, 102.9 MHZ, From Cumulus, Youngstown, Ohio, 330 783 1000 is not properly equalized, and is low level, compared to other iHeart channels, it lacks in low to mid range frequencies, peaking with the treble, leaving it sounding thin, yet the actual FM Stereo broadcast has good, properly equalized audio ethics good bass response and midrange response with good treble. The poor equalization is the same on both the left and right channels, indicating this is a setup problem at the source.

I enjoy the I heart various decades stations, which used to be and still show they are commercial-free. In the past week I’ve heard commercials on a few stations. Lack of commercials is what drew me to this app, so the recent change is disappointing.

Use iHeartRadio daily to listen to radio shows and podcasts.
Updated and now...every 2-3minutes it goes out likes it buffering - happens if I am Wi-Fi, cellular,etc. I thought it was my network but this is the only app doing it. And didn’t start until I updated.
Don’t do it! They ruined my listening experience - pointless to listen for a couple minutes and then pause, pause, pause repeats the last few seconds or moves on to the topic.

I have a brand new iPad 8th generation running iOS 14.4. IHeartRadio 10.1.1 won’t load on the iPad. Screen flashes white and goes away, back to “home” screen.
I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation also running iOS 14.4. IHeartRadio 10.1.1 loads and works perfectly.

My husband and I loved this app and shared it. Now we can’t. It says they have family sharing but that’s if you have kids and we don’t. You guys should bring back family sharing on this app
