Simple, Private, and Fast.
If you’re coming from Intel Unison’s sunset, please give this app a try. It’s so worth it. I highly recommend this to anyone using a device across multiple platforms, whether iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, or macOS, this app supports it all.

Almost Perfect, Still Better than Anything Else
Yes, this isn’t perfect. The thing that prompted leaving the review was a file transfer not playing nice with a corporate network. But my god is this so much better than anything else and it includes enough work arounds for most problems. In my case it was just the share with link which I will definitely be using again to share with those who don’t have the app. Airdrop has its pluses but it’s exclusive. This can run on all of my devices, rarely fails and doesn’t pull any of the arbitrary restrictions of airdrop.

This app is a lifesaver. Apple being a walled garden, its a chore to transfer files and media to and from PC. But this app does it in an instant. No setup needed. Very straightforward. Please revert the media picker
Every time an app replaces the media picker, it is always worse than the native one. I can’t search for text in a photo with the new media picker, and I can only filter by albums (including Favorites) and not the other built-in categories

Pretty good!
Works for sending files from iPad to Windows, but has room for improvement.
I can’t add files using the “Paste” button, it always says “No items in Clipboard.” And I can’t add files by drag and drop either.
But the Share Sheet works, and it’s cross platform, so I’m happy with it!

Stupidly Easy!
Installed on my mac, and on my android. Both clearly showed their ID, and when given permissions, found each other over wifi. Then select the file, click the device to send it to. And, on android, it went into the downloads folder. (I had to move it to books, but that’s because it’s an eInk reader.)

Amazing, free (donationware), as seamless as Airdrop but works with Windows
Desktop I use has Windows 10 Pro and my phone is iPhone 14 Pro + I use it on iPad (Pro 11in 3rd gen), all 3 have their latest OS versions, and the app works so smoothly and is very fast. I always had problems setting up other apps/programs of this type, the apple stuff would never communicate with Windows or vice versa, but setting this up on Windows and phone+ipad took maybe 5 minutes. I was finally able to send a ton of photos for from my iPad to my desktop, thank you so much for making this! It works very very fast and I’ve never had issues with crashes on any of my devices although I’ve only been using it (a good bit) for about 2 weeks. Really appreciate that it’s free / donationware. Everything else is really really expensive and/or a subscription service, which is so absurd and unaffordable for the average user who doesn’t need to transfer files 5-days. Also, thank you x100 for the ability to just copy/paste text between devices. That is so wonderful that it nearly brings a tear to my eye. Great work, thank you !

Something is off
Something is off with the current version 1.16.2 on my iOS 13.5. I can import from PC to my device, but I cannot export from my device to PC ... nothing shows up ... nothing works and version 15.x works for me.

Obviously Apple would never develop this feature since it lets you transfer files regardless of software ecosystem, but this program really fills the gap and makes transferring across all my devices really easy. Good for photo backups, video file transfer, and more.

File location
When downloading files it doesn’t let you choose a file location and they get placed into the system files and have no way to access them. Other than that it works great.

Issue with Local Files
Great app but I wanted to point out an annoying problem that’s probably an easy fix. When I receive files the app places them in a “/var/mobile/…” folder. I can copy them to my local Files but they stay in this folder. There seems to be no way to delete them even from iTunes as this is a system folder. Even if you delete their history in the app they stay in that folder (you can see them in iTunes File Sharing). I see no path setting or clear button button of any kind in the app. The only way I’m aware you can delete them is by uninstalling…

This is the app you’ve been looking for
If you’re constantly struggling to share big files between devices on your own network, this is the app. I’ve setup file sharing, workgroups, FTP servers, but they all have limits and all seem to break. This little app is rock solid and has a great UI.

MAS version lacking feature parity
The version installed from the Mac App Store doesn’t have the option to run at system startup, whereas the Homebrew version does. Fix this and I will award 5 stars for a great app other than that.

I was going to make something just like this, but man does this work well! There is some issue that causes the Windows app to crash after the PC is put into hibernation. Sometimes also a connection doesn’t happen until both apps have been restarted, but still a great app.

I have thousands of photos and videos on my iPad and there is no way to swipe to quickly select them, I have to manually select each file which is very annoying. The biggest failure of this app is that it does not upload the metadata such as the actual date it was created…

Great for Yearbook!
I ran the middle school yearbook club, and I had no hesitation recommending this app to my students. No data collected and privacy-conscientious. Our kids had a mix of iPhone and Samsung phones, and this was the easiest way to collect photos and videos taken by the club members. Thank you!

i love the app, super fast and simple. i thought of a feature to add - it be nice to add a notification on Receiving phone ( so if Receiving iphone not unlocked and app not running) it would Notify them -that someone sent file---but open iphone and app to hit accept and Receive it.

Not the solution
Crashes when you try to upload a folder, very invasive feeling constantly asking you to allow full access to folders, requires tapping on each picture individually to send making it impossible to mass transfer or backup. I was very uneasy at first but was desperate to transfer 800GB of photos off my phone, and reddit didn’t say anything weird about it. Wasn’t even able to transfer one photo before I got sketched out and deleted it. I’m all for using “transfer over wifi apps” like Evermusic, but this one was just way too sketch and even if it is legit, it’s just not the solution for transferring anything more than a single picture or two.

Very Useful
I have a macbook, iPad, and a samsung phone, so you can imagine how complecated file sharing can be. This will be such an easy solve. However, for some reason I cant get my macbook to send to my iPad. Vice versa works fine though as well as functionality with my phone.

This app is so useful it help me send my photos and files between devices with no hassle. Before I heard of this app I was using goodgle drive and drop box and start to run out of storage space and was going to be charged this saved me money. If you need a app that helps you transfer between drives this is it.

Wonderful
It's super simple and is basically AirDrop but for everything. I got it on my mac, my iPhone, and my PC, and now what was the tedium of uploading to and downloading from drive has become as simple as a few clicks. I also love that it is open source and free, and I can transfer without an internet connection. There are no limits to how many files you can send (although only 999 in one go), and while slower than airdrop, it is much quicker than any free alternative for cross-platform sharing.

No bloatware, no ads, just very simple functionality. The platonic ideal of an app. Don’t forget to download the equivalent on your computer. Excellent way to get around Apple’s silly iCloud storage restrictions.

I've been looking for an easy way to get things from my iPhone and iPad to my Fedora, without all the extra things KDE Connect includes, and this app is perfect ! I'm so glad I found it (thanks to Brodie) because it's easy to use and works great.

Glad this Exists
Thank you, been looking for a simple way to transfer files from my iPhone and IPad to PC like airdrop without a cord this uses the local network (wifi) only to my knowledge. Download the app on the receiving device/devices under the same network name them accordingly and transfer, its simple. No extra gimmick or payments or subscriptions just does what it says 5 star. Wish other apps “alternatives” learn something from this. Definitely deserves more popularity

Best inter-platform file drop
This is the best ephemeral file dropping app I have ever used. It works perfectly across all my different devices and has a clean user interface. My only wish is that it had a drag to multi-select feature for media files, because clicking on 100+ individual photos is tedious.

Brilliant - simple interface, easy to use and works!
Works brilliantly across devices and platforms. Rare example of app of this sort that actually works, pretty intuitive, simple layout. Just took a second to figure out that to send you just need to select the device to send to (rather than hit a send button).
