This is a horrible app. Every single day I have to deal with landlord not giving heat and on top of that this app always kicks out the space heater and I have to reconnect every single time. It’s frustrating trying to keep myself and infant warm.

While I've only purchased a humidifier but after using it and it's worked better than other humidifiers that are more expensive you can find out for yourself but to save money it's not worth shopping around for stuff only half as good at twice the price. Definitely go with Dreo.

Definitely a great product
Let me start by saying, the product and app are great. I purchased 4 for my house through Amazon. It’s great to be able to monitor and control the device from the app.
My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to add sleep mode to a schedule instead of having to do it manually every night.

Updated: Dreo has reached and addressed the issue. Although it took 9 days to get the app fixed, I must say, it was worth the wait. I thought the app was cool before but it’s even better now. Thank you Dreo :)
I’ve been a Dreo user for a several years now. I have been very satisfied in the past. But since Sunday December 1, 2024 the app no longer works. I tried everything: rebooted the phone - I uninstalled and reinstalled app - seen there was an iPhone update so I did that - seen there was a DREO update (just yesterday) so I did that. NOTHING WORKS. I will push on the dreo app icon but it immediately crashes. Won’t even open. The whole point of buying dreo is bc of the app. Please advise :(

Guest Account?
Recently bought a humidifier, wanted to use the other features it has with the app. On setup you have the option to use a guest account instead of setting up one but when you select the guest account and select “add device” it brings you back to the page to try and get you to setup an account. Seems and bit dishonest to to offer a way to utilize the apps features by opting out of having to create an account but when you try to do so it ends up directing you to creating an account way. The app raises a few red flags already so I’ll be updating as I continue go forward. 7DEC2024

Humidifier
My humidifier turned on and off with the app very nicely. That’s about all I can do. The Ambient light stopped and will not turn back on and I cannot control the percentage of moisture like it says, but I can control how much steam comes out. So it works only partially with the application. Not what I had anticipated kind of disappointed.

Yay, easy to use, and understand
Works like a Dream. It’s easy to operate, and has impressive output. Put it on Auto after setting desired humidity level, and Cool or warm output. It just takes care of you. Thanks Dreo engineers and programmers!

This items is great , easy installment , however it advertises as heating a large room , however it didn’t do it for me and I have a small living room . This probably great for a small bedroom. The heat definitely pumps when you are closer to the Dreo heater

It’s a slick with a great design space heater, blends perfectly. The heat output it’s amazing. And the best part you can controlled with your smart device. No more I don’t remember if I turn it off, or on. Also can be controlled when you are away from home! Ofcourse you need it to be on your WiFi. Glad I tried this….

Awesome app
Very user friendly, very clean, very customizable. A few things I wish could change though. I have the horizontal heater wall mounted. I’d love to see the room temp and set temp displayed on the widget on the Home Screen of my phone. The other thing that would be nice is if in eco mode, you could select what power setting it used when it DID have to kick on. In eco mode it’s aiming to get to get to your set temp but using the very least amount of energy to do so. It makes sense for a smaller space but say having a setting for H3 thermostat set would be nice. Overall I’m really impressed though!

Our Dreo wall heater provides the perfect solution for providing an alternative heating option for our kitchen when we don’t want to fire up the wood stove or run the ‘whole-house’ central heating.
Its design is pleasing and the unit’s small size makes it relatively unobtrusive.
The Dreo app works really well, with good options and is user friendly. We definitely recommend this product.

Turning on via Bluetooth.

Best fan app/company ever
Bought there fan because it connected to wifi (which was super easy to set up) and downloaded the app and had no idea just how much stuff is on it. It has a simple fan UI which is super easy to use. But it also has a Dreo fan store where you can see all of their products they sell including purifier/dispenser. They also have a cooking section for their air fryers. Recipes and routines galore. Genuinely the best purchase I’ve made within the last three years.

Works great in guitar room.
I use the Dreo Humidifier to humidify my guitar room, it works great. I love the fact that I can set the humidity level at 50% and forget about it. I just wish I would have purchased the larger model so I wouldn’t have to fill the water tank daily. The APP is a nice feature. I can see humidity levels, check status of the unit and make any necessary changes remotely. Completely satisfied.

I bought the Dreo wall heater and when it arrived I was like no way this little thing is going to do anything. So I put it up turned it on and I was wrong it keeps my living room at just the right temperature without having to adjust the thermostat up stairs. This thing is small but does the job.

All Your Info in One Spot
This has got to be one of the better apps I’ve had over the years regarding home equipment. I think it’s neat that I can access my stuff from at work and even do firmware updates while on the go.
The best feature however has to be the access to any user manuals, instructional articles and FAQs regarding the devices registered to your account. The quick and easy access to this information has saved me from a few meltdowns.
All in all, good app with access to what you need, at home or on the go

Great app but Siri stopped working
This is a solid and well made app, almost always works reliably. My biggest gripe though is that the products don’t natively support HomeKit and therefore cannot be controlled with Siri. You can in theory use Siri Actions or Shortcuts but the only one that shows up in my app is the one that turns off all devices. That’s it, no fan control or even a turn on button. Very weird, I imagine one of the app updates broke something.

My Life Saver
This machine is the best, I use it at least every other day sometimes twice in a day.
I use the Sous-Vide setting for my steaks and they come out delicious. I use the air-fryer for my chicken wings, I even cooked a whole chicken, it was delicious.
The only downside is I wish it would sear my steaks on both side.
Great investment for anyone that is short on time.

Best fan I’ve ever owned
Excellent features. Comes with a remote and iOS app. One of the best features is not just the vertical (and horizontal) oscillation, but the ability to set the width of the oscillation range. Even better it allows you to make that range asymmetrical, so I can dial it in to sweep from my head to my toes and back again when sleeping. It also has settings to disable the sounds and display on the device, so a few less glowing LEDs at night.

Wow!
Simply put, the best fan I’ve ever bought. The simultaneous vertical and horizontal oscillation is game changing! I have an L shaped room and one fan comfortably circulates it.
The phone app allows you to control the oscillation. I have pets that like to bask in the sunlight on the floor, so I set the oscillation to not blow directly on them. That said, on the full vertical oscillation, it goes from floor to ceiling to truly circulate the air.
Another thing, even on high, it’s quieter than any other fan in my house and it works exponentially better than them.
I’ve only had it for a week, but I use it all day as I work from home, so I don’t know the long term quality of it. But it does seem well built, it doesn’t wobble like most fans as it changes direction.
Btw, the extra $10 was worth it for the WiFi connection. I have it connected to my Alexa devices so I can literally control it with my voice.
It’s rare for me to say this, but this actually exceeded my expectations. Like I said, I didn’t know this existed, the vertical movement changes everything!

My first Dreo was purchased through the ChefMaker Kickstarter program. From the first BuyNow throughout the entire kickstarter campaign, Dreo gave top notch follow through. Since that first device, several more Dreo products have been added to both my daughter’s apt as well as my home. What has recently become the best feature is the ability to control all of the Dreo Smart devices at my home while I am away from there. I have to spend a lot of time at my daughter’s apartment as she needs 24/7 care. The app allows full control plus some. Next up in my Dreo family will be the wall-mounted heater and eventually all ceiling fans will be replaced with Dreo Smart ceiling fans. In addition to top notch products, Dreo’s Customer Support has been spot on when I have any questions.

At first I had connection issues but the company fixed it right away with an update people plz be patient these fans are amazing when ever u have an issue just hit the calibration option it will fix the oscillation right away and check for updates there’s always one every few days and the fan gets better and better everyday and make sure you keep them clean so easy to take apart and clean In under 10 min enjoy your fan as much as I have enjoyed mine I’m about to buy the air conditioner soon been saving up for it can’t wait to get it I’ll keep you all posted and review it once I do get it best fans on the market can’t wait to get the air conditioner 💪🏻🙏🏻

Worth every penny.
The Dreo fan is by far the best fan I’ve ever owned. I purchased a less expensive fan much like the fan I have now and was not at all happy with it. I opted for the Dreo, and there has never been any reason to look back. Dreo has thought of everything-now if only the fan could make me a martini- dry, straight-up, with two olives.

DREO PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER.
This portable air conditioner is very effective in cooling. The room gets so cold with the setting on low speed and 75*F. I love it. There are no worries about water leakage due to long hours of use. The water level in the drain remains low, and I monitor it from my phone because I downloaded the DREO app, which indicates the hours run to remind me of the time to clean the filters.

Need to create an account to use a fan
App will not let you add a device unless you create an account. Really! I have to create an account to use a fan. Remote that comes with the fan works fine. App should work without an account.
Read Developer’s response. Why would I want to control a fan when I’m not home? Waste of energy. I suspect the account requirement has more to do with data mining, then providing features.
I stand by my original review. App should work without an account, and OPTIONALLY allow individuals to create an account if they want to waste electricity when they are not home.

the humidifier
$80 was totally worth the humidifier. i love it! i love all the features it has, mainly the ability to control it with alexa. i love how it can do cool and warm mist. i love the ambient light, and overall it’s look. there are however 2 things that could make it better. 1, i wish you didnt have to clean it as much as you do. 2, the humidity reading on it goes all over the place, even though my other hygrometers stay leveled. i think there should be settings that change how often it changes, and also to calibrate it. last night i had it on 62%, but it read lower than my hygrometers did, which was 66%. my windows were condensated. if you can improve those things, the humidifier will be 100% good. other than that, i love it and i think it was worth the price

Much Better than Expected
The 5-star reviews are warranted. I have the humidifier and never thought that having a smart connected humidifier would be useful and everything in my house is connected. Here’s why it is: 1) Scheduling on and off in the winter saves me from having to fill the tank as often. I used to forget to turn off my old humidifier and found myself filling it every night. I can usually get 3 nights on the low setting. 2) Cleaning and filter reminders are really helpful. 3) control of the humidifier settings when my kids are sick is great. If I start hearing coughing, I turn up the humidity level without having to go in their room and possibly wake them.
The App is also fantastic in appearance, ease of use and connectivity.I’d put it best in class compared to its competition. Dreo is doing things right and I hope they continue to release more products.
If the developers are listening, please release a Home Assistant integration or a full API. As amazing as your app is for most users, I would love to be able to control and set automations outside of the app. There is a third party integration for HA, but it’s very limited.

I love my fan & tech support
This is the most powerful tower fan I’ve owned. I love that I can plop it in the corner of a large room and the breeze hits every corner.
There was a hiccup where the app did not recognize either of my fans. It took a few emails with tech support to resolve it.
Once again, I’m controlling this amazing fan remotely :)

Bu many standards my home is a smart one and amongst all the apps I use to control all my appliances, this is the most reliable. It works every single time no matter how far away I am. I’ve put off for years getting a humidifier. And now I know why. This humidifier is the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. So easy to use, and the app makes even better. I immediately could feel the difference in the house ( 5th wheel). I look forward to breathing easier through out the night.

DREO app widget says No Device Available
There is an iOS widget available for this app, but I can't seem to add my ChefMaker. The widget says No Device Available. When you edit the widget and choose device, nothing appears on the list. When I type ChefMaker on the search bar, no results show up.
This makes this pretty useless since it cannot display any info on the widget. It basically behaves like the app icon. Clicking on the widget just launches the app

App is Great Except!!!
The app works really good, but there are 3 things that would help greatly for users.
1. We need and would love to be able to reorder our devices to support how the use of each device is placed in our homes for better access.
2. Sometimes the app doesn’t recognize routines set ex.(Daily Routine) and it has to be unplugged to reset, then it will work again.
3. Also when pressing a set angle that has been programmed it will turn the opposite way before going to angle setting.
Could these things be approached PLZ…

Well designed humidifier and app
Pros:
- Able to control all aspects of the humidifier via the app. I seldom use the controls on the humidifier itself.
- Able to monitor the performance of the humidifier even while you are sleeping because it produces a bar chart of the performance 24/7.
- It alerts you when the water tank is empty, when cleaning is required, and when the filter needs changing.
- It is WiFi enabled, so I receive alerts regardless of where I am. (I never miss an alert)
- I’ve only had the humidifier a few months, but so far there has been zero mineral buildup and zero mold. I attribute this to great design, buying the optional filter, and the maintenance reminders.
- Able to manage multiple devices from the app. I have just one humidifier at this time but it’s nice knowing I can network another in.
Cons:
- When using the timer function, at the end of any cycle, the humidifier shuts off rather than reverting back to the previous setting. And if you set up back to back events (one starting the same minute another ends), it gets confused.
- The humidifier beeps to acknowledge any setting change. This is a good thing. But it would be nice if we could disable the beeping when using the timer so it doesn’t wake light sleepers.
In summary, the pros far outweigh the cons and I highly recommend this product.

A product utility app that works?
Use this to control a space heater in our garage. For most of these types of “product utility” apps I find that they’re like, not even an afterthought. They don’t work, they’re buggy, they look bad, and lots can be just UI front ends for a web page. This app looks great, and most importantly WORKS. I connected to the heater in seconds, and it immediately worked. Then it continued working. If Dreo could bottle this up and sell it to printer companies they’d make trillions.

Best purchase ever
I had needed a new fan for my living room for a while. I have a woodstove so it can get rather warm in here. Plus I need to circulate the heat. I did a lot of shopping and kept coming back to this fan. I kept thinking that no one needed to be able to control their fan from their phone, but it wasn’t that much more expensive so I got it anyway. I love this fan being able to adjust the settings as well as all the preprogrammed options are so much better than I ever thought it could be. If you’re on the fence all I can say is buy it.

BEST APP & FAN EVER!!!!!
This is seriously the best thing ever! I never use my remote anymore. I only use my app to turn the fan on or off, Higher or lower! I seriously can’t get over how convenient this is to set up. I bought my ceiling fan (different brand) which should be able to be controlled by an app. Which of course doesn’t work 😒. Then I got this bad boy and I can turn the fans on or off when I’m not home!!!! THE CONVENIENCE!

Dreo Chefmaker
The Dreo is absolutely amazing. It takes the guess work out of cooking and my hubby and I love it! It cooks delicious juicy steaks every time and the salmon always comes out perfect. I’ve also cooked corn on the cob and baked potato’s and they too were delicious. Tonight I bought filet mignon and will be cooking it in the Dreo tomorrow night. I’ve never cooked a filet mignon before as I’m not the best cook and it’s an expensive cut of meat, but now I have the Dreo!

AMAZING!
So, my trusty Lasko fan had seen it’s day after a good 7 years and stopped working. When researching fans on sale during the smoldering hot summer days I was looking to purchase the same make and model. I was skeptical about trying a brand I was not sure (had never) heard of but after reading the reviews thought I’d give Dreo a try. And boy am I glad I did. This fan is beautifully elegant, not bulky, takes up a small footprint in my loft apartment and most importantly works. The fact that I can control it through Alexa and it’s own app is also amazing as sometimes I misplace the remote it came with. I can honestly say I got more than my money’s worth in taking a chance in purchasing this unit.

Very impressed
I have had my dreo now for just about one month. Incredibly impressed with the cooks I have gotten. I’ve made steaks, chicken, shrimp, and even baked potatoes. The sous vide steak is absolutely one of the most succulent and juicy steaks I have ever made. The chef mode is fantastic and very accurate when you follow the instructions. It really is set it and forget it. Looking forward to lots more cooks and playing around with some of the new recipes that were just released and uploaded. This truly is the tesla of cookware.

Dreo chef maker UNBELIEVEABLE
This is the companion app to the dreo chef maker. I have used mine about 10 times now cooking a flank steak or ribeye chicken thighs, bone in chicken breast and pork chops. This thing cooks everything perfectly. I had a bit of an issue with the pork chops because I was using a marinade from another recipe so I was adding excess moisture I would say, so the browning came out a little thick, but I love this cooker. I’ve tried air fryers before and the only thing I could cook would be something from Tyson made for an air fryer. This cooker has a probe and that makes all the difference in the world couldn’t be happier and I just noticed today they added additional recipes.

Excellent Fan, Excellent App
For years I used the highly rated LASKO tower fan (until a blackout shorted it out). The DREO works just as well, if not better. It is quiet, light & highly functional. The remote is great as a back up but I mostly use the App, in conjunction w/Google Home. The App is extremely easy to synch up and use. In fact, of all my “smart” devices, the DREO has been BY FAR the quickest, easiest & must intuitive. Literally, download, add device & go. Wish List: 1. please make functional w/AppleHomeKit — which is far superior to GoogleHome, and 2. if possible, please add a way to program the fan to TURN ON, not just turn off — as my bedroom heats up really early due to morning sun. Otherwise, great product.

Excellent support.
Wow! The application to compliment the chef maker is just as amazing as the unit itself! The level of detail they put into every aspect, even the support portions are a true testament to how well these guys take the quality of their user experiences seriously. Kudos to the hardware and software teams for working so harmoniously in creating a wonderful product experience!

Best air circulator ever
This is a great device. Easy to use, easy to connect to my iPhone. No wobbles, shaking or unnecessary noise. I like that I can set it to automatically change speed when the temperature in my room changes. I’m thinking about maybe trying the combo kitchen device next!!!

First Review App for ChefMaker?
It looks like this may be the first review for using the app with the new ChefMaker. So far both the oven and the app work great. My only complaint is that there are limited recipes and cooking guidance on the app. There doesn’t appear to be anyway to access or add recipes from Dreo or external sources. That would be so bad if you could customize the cook history. Currently, the cook history only shows the type of cooking method used and the a place to put your own comments. That doesn’t really help if I have cooked chicken 10 ways. I have to go through each cook history event to find the one of the 10 I’d like to use. A simple fix would be the ability to edit the cook method title so that I could enter, for example, “My Air Fryer Chicken Thighs”. Better yet, add a page when I could record my own recipes. As it stands now, the app doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t need an app to turn on the ChefMaker. I can do that myself. Hopefully, there will be an update in the near future as more of the ChefMakers are shipped from the Kickstarter campaign or sold online.

Get This FAN!
I needed to replace my old fan because it was loud and breaking down. I researched all the fans and kept coming back to this one. There were a couple of 1 star reviews that kept me a little standoffish. So glad I didn’t listen to those people. This is a 5 star fan! You won’t be disappointed.

A great app with amazing fans!
We have the Pilot Max Tower Fan in our living room and the Falcon air circulator in our bedroom. Both use the app. Both fans are so strong and customizable, and all the custom action can be done on the app. It even connects to Alexa, so all of the control can be done without getting up! Our A/C died, and these have been a Godsend during the heat and humidity!

I love this app but…
This app is great, and so is the fan I purchased. I do have two ideas that can improve the usage of the app and fan. 1. The ability to switch to Bluetooth controls when WiFi acts up or internet goes out. Sure there is the remote but it doesn’t have certain abilities the app has. 2. The ability to use the watch to control the fan. There are times I don’t want to get on my phone just to change fan speed or manually change the angle. With my watch, I can access it quicker. Very useful when doing a workout. A phone widget and a watch compilation would be good too! Especially with iOS17 and WatchOS10 later this year. I’ll give all 5 stars if at least a watch app is made, even if it’s in TestFlight.

Worth every penny.
The money I have saved by being able to keep the air circulating in my house thanks to my Dreo fans, has more than paid for them and allowed us to keep our energy bill low enough to afford a vacation this summer. I am thankful and will not ever buy another brand of fan. The app features are seem less and easy to control. I would recommend purchasing a DREO circulator or fan. You won’t be disappointed.

Greatest Air Circulator
Of all of the fans that I have owned over the last 40 years, this is by far the best. Not just it’s quietness, it’s solid build or complete control, it just works. We set it on the vent in our bedroom to circulate the cool air. It can oscillate up, down or side to side. I can use the very nice remote in my room or Wi-Fi from my phone anywhere when I’m not in the house to turn it on to cool the room before we get home. This is not the cheapest fan out there, but it is pure quality. You get what you pay for. I expect to have many years of use from this fan. In the end, I would buy this again without hesitation in a heartbeat. Thank you Dreo!👍👍👍

Best App controlled fan out there
This fan is amazing while the manuel didn’t clearly state what each setting was for, the app certainly did and made using the fan even easier to use. I love that I don’t even have to be home to use the app. I can switch on my fan to start cooling the house down before I even get home. I love that all the settings can be changed on the app and the fan itself. The app is easy to use and very user friendly

Dreo is amazing
This is by far the best purchase of 2023 for me. Fan has worked flawlessly since I received it and the app only makes it better. It comes with a remote, but the app is so much easier to use. Love it and waiting for my wife’s Lasko to give out so I can justify purchasing another one. Hopefully they don’t try to fix an app that isn’t broken like many developers tend to do.

Needs improvement for screen reader accessibility
Hello there, I very much love this fan, and appreciate being able to control it with alexa. The commands work very well spoken alloud. However, many of the buttons and controls on the app are either not read at all with voiceover, or are not labeled with text. For example, the tabs on the bottom of my screen read as “tab” instead of home and settings. The controls for the fan cannot be double tapped or read at all with voiceover. I very much like this product, but want to be able to use it fully. I believe apple can provide free advice to developers on how to make apps accessible. I would be happy to provide advice and feedback for improvement.

A Tower Fan That Everyone Should Have in Hot Climates
I love this fan and the app that helps me control it with my wifi! It comes with a really small remote but who cares; the app is awesome!
It works better than the cooling system in my studio apartment. And much quieter!
Ambient cooling in my 300 sq ft space by as much as 10 degrees in about 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe it.

Love this fan!
I just got my Dreo Tower Fan today and I absolutely love it already! It’s so convenient having the app and being able to control everything with Alexa. I set up everything through the app. It was a super quick process connecting the Dreo Tower Fan to my Wi-Fi. Whole process took less than 5 minutes. I’m so happy with my purchase! Definitely recommend!
