App isn’t great, service is bad

They brag about creating personalized health plans tailored to the individual, but when you ask why something is done the way it is, it’s because “everybody has to do it.” It doesn’t matter if you’ve already done everything they’re telling you that you have to do, they’re going to make you do it again.

The app design is poor too. If you’re in a program, you have to go into that program before you can view your messages, even though there’s a messages tab right at the bottom.

Still too buggy

Search for pharmacy one day get 10, next day get zero. Expand to 50 miles, still zero. Search for drugs and even the full name provided by Transcarent shows no results. Please try searching this way and fix the issues.

Not worth your time and the service is subpar

The app is a bit temperamental when trying to upload or fill out the questionnaires. If you expect a quick response from the Transcarent team you are going to be disappointed. Their business hours are also difficult to work with, once you get assigned a care coordinator they will not offer much help and will ask you to call the next day until you get in touch with the assigned individual. I have been trying for 3 days and called four times to reach out for help. I finally gave up and decided to do the surgery on my own and deal with the insurance the old fashion way(by calling them and asking for the details of the expense; and guess what what, it went trouble free and they were very nice).

Actually makes getting healthcare easy

Fantastic app! So easy and fast to speak to a doctor, I got to chat with an MD (who was great) with just a few taps in under a minute. Was able to get my questions answered and labs ordered walking distance from my house. Game changing doctor visit!

Don’t waste your time

This company is trash. They don’t have any idea what they’re actually doing. I had a shoulder injury that needed surgery. My doctor offered me an appointment a few weeks out. Transcarent though, kept pushing their surgery care service. Said they’d cover everything. I was already dreading the surgery bill, so that sounded great. But then they just dragged their feet getting me an appointment, and following up. Meanwhile, my injury was getting worse and worse. After weeks and weeks of nothing, I asked for news, and they said they were still waiting to hear back from a surgeon. I called the surgeon’s office myself, and heard back in a couple of hours.

In the end, I had to schedule my own appointment, and pay out of pocket. This service is totally useless at best, and actively detrimental at worst.
