I have a paid subscription but still have ads on the bottom is there a way to remove those?

Needs some tweaks
Streams audio fine, but could use some tweaks. Some of the channels are duplicated and appear on the “Select TG” screen multiple times. When I open the app, there are always random channels selected and I have to change which ones I want to listen to every time. Sometimes, after closing the app, it’ll randomly start playing audio again, especially if I connect Bluetooth.

NO Comms NO Connection 🤷♂️
Lost connection or signal, pretty much lost everything since last update, all functionality gone. Deleted, reinstalled & Restored & still not working. Nothing works, Live feed for any TG is non functional, selected/deselected all TG’s, cant even listen to the last previous call. Crazy but true, but this worked flawlessly just last month. Please fix it, redo the code or what have you. What ever needs doing.

Latest update reintroduces the connection timeout bug

Unless the app is in the foreground, AND there is semi-frequent activity, the app goes to sleep and drops its connection to the server. Depending on what channels I’m listening to, I’m almost always having to unlock my phone screen and get it to wake up before it’ll re-establish its connection to the server. This is pretty frustrating as the long gaps in time have me wondering if it’s truly quiet, or the app died again.
Can’t you please fix this?!
Also add a few memory buttons that can be used to remember various talkgroup settings? Depending on where I am, I listen to various talk groups IDs and specific channels. Instead of having to reprogram those every time, it would be convenient to recall mem-1, mem-2, or mem-3 for example.

CarPlay broken with 1.10 Update
I really enjoy this app, 5 stars before the newest 1.10 update because it has made it so that CarPlay doesn’t display the app in the “now playing” section. I can no longer see the talk group or skip ahead using the steering wheel controls. I think this might be due to the way the app treats the audio as background only. Is it possible to add a toggle to turn off the background only audio so CarPlay works again?

Notification and connection issues
With the latest version released yesterday, the connection is still lost if paused or live turned off and the app is backgrounded (but not closed) for a few minutes. When you bring the app back up and try to go live or search, it just has the loading line forever. The app really needs reconnect logic. Also, with the simultaneous audio app change (where you can play other audio/video with RDIO still going), I can no longer see the radio call on CarPlay or my Lock Screen to know which TG is playing.

Will Not Stay Connected to the Server
Ever since the March 2025 update, the app will not stay connected to the server. Previously I would run into problems occasionally but could reconnect by clicking on settings and hitting connect. I never understood why that was necessary. Why shouldn’t clicking on live on the main screen automatically ensure a connection is active or attempts to reconnect? Now it’s even worse. The only way I can connect is by killing the app and then reopening it. This is becoming too frustrating given the annual cost of the app.

Worked great for a few days
Then stopped working. Hasn’t worked for several days now. No response from tech support through email or Facebook page. Very disappointing.

Web Version 100% better
Ads take up half the screen even when you pay screen cuts off buttons if you have a lot of channels. Use the web app version this app is not worth the money. It won’t stay running in the background on newer iPhones so just save your 30$

Needs a minor feature to be 5 stars
I rarely review apps. However I find myself using this app nearly every single day. I live in an area that is in close proximity to 5 different counties. So, I have 5 different “servers” added in my settings. Because of the server URL, I don’t know which one is which when connecting. Just adding a function to put a name on the server above the URL or below the password just so it’s easy to connect in and out. Add this QoL feature and it’s an easy 5 stars.

Bug Issues?
App was great in the beginning and for a couple months. Now it seems buggy and often will not connect to any of the couple of streams I have added. If I erase the app and download it again it seems to work

Server URL and Codes
Responding to some reviews about codes here. Understand that the software hosting the service is open source (google rdio-scanner), it’s on github. The app and app creator is completely independent from any scanner you’re trying to listen to. The responsibility for server URL or access codes falls to whomever is hosting the scanner instance. And, in my experience hosting a scanner, 8/10 times when an app user experiences trouble it’s because of server trouble, not app trouble.

Seems to work, but I don’t speak French
App seems to work, but I have auto tuned into “Seram operations 3” of the Montreal fire and rescue service. I can’t seem to change it. This would be great if I was either a French speaker or lived in Montreal, however I neither speak French or live in Montreal. How on Gods green earth do I change it something a bit more local like Los Angeles County, here in California?

So Far So Good
I like the way you can go back and relisten if you’ve missed something. I am in a local group on Facebook and we post happenings on our page. I’ve tried others and so far, this one seems more complete. The only problem I had was that there is supposed to be a free version you can use but I couldn’t get it to work on my iPhone or my iPad without purchasing the Premium edition. It works out to about $3.50 a month so it’s not horrible. I wonder, though, why I had that problem. The ads would block my back < so I couldn’t get to where I need to go. This didn’t seem to be the case on my friend’s phone, a Samsung android so who knows?
If you’re looking for a good program but don’t want to invest in a scanner, this is the one. My friend has scanners and she said that she now uses the app instead due to its features. You can see the individual agencies as they post, including the hospitals.

Would not work
Does not respond at all. Had to remove app within five minutes of installation.
And I would like to gave all references of this app being installed removed from my Apple app store removed. If it does mot work, I can Never recommend it and want to chop off heads as needed.

Developer said it was updated on 7.25. Updated app. Still the same issue. Select TG no longer launches page to select channels. It worked correctly for many months. Still does not.
Old review: App worked great but the “select TG” button doesn’t work anymore.

Used to work great but suddenly stopped working.
Says I’m connected and authenticated.
Re-entered my credentials and again says connected and authenticated.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
Unable to submit a problem through App Store. When I attempt to, it says session timed out.
Using iPhone 11 iOS 15.4.1
Please help.

Great App! Check it out!!
I am running a server and have friends accessing it via this app… This makes it so they can save their talk groups and still hear calls when the app is not in the foreground. It would be cool to add a public server section and have a setting on the server to allow public. This way people can list their servers. It is a hard sell for the subscription though… I think if it was 25 dollars a year people would gladly pay for it and help support. Thank you for all your hard work!!!

Good app
Works well however I would love to see a way to add multiple feeds and switch between them easily. I think $40 a year for premium is to steep.
