This very addictive game is fun and I love it! The only negative I have is that you only get 10 coins when you finish a room. You put a lot of time and effort in winning each game to decorate a room. That should get you more than 10 coins — maybe 30-50? Please change this.

Version 220000.1.195
*** I don’t believe that this really has a 4.6. I suspect that they have people writing reviews for them. If you go to the reviews that are one star, you will see that a lot of people are reporting the exact same things that I am here… It is entirely driven by getting you to spend money without skill involved past a certain level, and they do not respond when their app crashes outside of say to contact Apple support. But Apple support can’t return to you the money that you spent trying to get to the next level before it crashed for exanple.
Update: I had another issue where at the end of the game there would be a gray block where the game should be and it would not let you move forward. So this is after you spent a bunch of money on various options to try to get further in the game. I took screenshots each time this happened and I sent them into the company and they didn’t write me back. They seem to have also added new levels that are impossible to pass without spending three or so dollars in points. It has nothing to do with memory or smarts after certain number of levels. It’s addictive I admit, and it’s unfortunate because I know it has nothing to do with skill and I want to get to the next level so they’ve got me in a sense but it really stinks that they don’t replace money when they swallow it through errors and things of that nature. If you’re looking for a game that is not chance like going to the casino then don’t do this game. If you don’t mind spending money, this would be more down your alley. I like this game a lot but when you walk away and come back in a few minutes the level deletes and you have to start over. And unfortunately you have to spend a lot to get through some levels so this app literally costs money. I tried contacting the company in regards to how much money it had swallowed up over time but they don’t write back unfortunately.

Stop moving buttons!!!!

Version 220000.1.195
I completely agree with some of the other reviews in that the game is pretty fun in the beginning but eventually the levels become impossible to beat. Plus, you only get 5 chances to beat a level before you have to wait 2 hours before your lives are totally refilled. Your coins go quick if you use boosters in the level. I’ve been trying to beat the same level for days now and I’ve decided it’s time to remove this game from my phone.

I’m sorely disappointed in the daily puzzle feature. I enjoy the timed challenges and collecting the plants; however I discovered that your plants from the previous month are deleted when a new month is added. I started this game in December. I spent hours trying to get the November plant fully grown and added to my garden. To my surprise, when January hit, the plant was gone. The “my garden” button seems pointless if I can’t really collect plants. I don’t know that I’ll be playing anymore, because after level 300, it’s practically impossible and I was mostly doing it for the daily timed challenge.

I haven’t run into the same problem as everyone else yet. So far my problem is the colors are all the same just a different name. They may be a slight shade off but there the same. Now I’m a person that likes color so this is boring and drab to me. There are other games out there that have plenty of color. That way at least my entire room isn’t the same boring color!

Like many games of this type, the drive to pump players for money ruins the relaxing nature of the game. As others have stated, the higher you get in levels, the more unwinnable the levels become. It’s not about strategy or cleverness, it’s just luck and boosters. Some levels are so opaque you can lose in the first few plays. But what finally made me delete the app were the ads at start up. I paid for the ad free version, but the developers offer “booster packages” and introduced “endless rewards” that are really just endless options to spend money on coins and boosters. Waiting for all the various promotions to load and clicking out of them each time I play takes several minutes and makes the whole user experience terrible. Really enjoyed the first 1,000 or so levels, but I won’t be coming back.

I’m a long term player who made it to level 850 before they made big changes. Even in the 800s the levels were playable because the levels varied in difficulty. When a level was too difficult, I would watch a few ads in the zen garden to earn coins for boosts.
Because you removed the zen garden history:
Your advertisers suffer with only one ad play per day,
You players suffer with in ap coin ads being shoved in their face every time you come out of a level, win or lose. It’s too frustrating to play now without enough coins for boosts or ability to get those without paying.
You suffer because you are losing players.
Your competitors win because Tile Buster and Tile Match offer more game play ability than you do now.
Who am I to complain about a free game? One who is deleting Zen Match and downloading a competitor game.

I’ve been playing this game for a little over a year now and haven’t had any issues, up until recently. While i’m playing a level, the adds at the bottom of the screen will randomly open up and it proceeds to glitch my game and have me lose any progress being made. If i earn coins and any of the boosters, i lose them all. Besides that, it’s an amazing game. Ive never purchased any coins and have made it past 300 levels. Great game.

Version 220000.1.195
Zen Masters is a cool newish feature, but I would like to have more time on the regular side of Zen Match. I tend to burn through the regular puzzles fairly quick, which throws me into Zen Masters after beating 50 puzzles. Zen Masters can last a week to over a week at a time. It’s such a long time to be in there for such little payoff cause those puzzles are significantly harder. It’s more entertaining and relaxing when I actually have chances and the ability to beat the levels. All that said, that’s my only gripe about the game. It’s my calm down game after work. I lovvvve it.

Not worth the frustration

Version 220000.1.195
As many have said, it’s fun at the beginning, but as difficulty goes up, it’s very frustrating. There is almost no way to clear the tiles without buying coins. AND this is a huge point, you pay for coins, but they are only good for limited amount of time. Equally frustrating is the pop ups to join a tournament, buy more coins etc. literally every time you clear a screen or exit because you give up.

It makes a good game and I love playing at home

Version 220000.1.195
It’s a really fun game
But like always, the people who made it are looking to make as much money as possible
To the point that it’s annoying and makes me not want to play the game
There are so many pop-up ads constantly trying to sell you packages
You can’t see how many coins you have while you’re playing so if you don’t have enough coins for a certain feature you’ll get 2 to 4 pop-ups telling you how you could purchase more coins
When you want to do the daily challenges, it plays a commercial that is sometimes longer than the actual game I had to sit through over 45 seconds of an ad and then when I tried to click out of it, it just brings me to the App Store and that took about six times of Xing out of the App Store back into the game and then trying to out of it and it’s sending me back to the App Store
Also, while you’re playing, there are many times in which the game is set up so that there is no chance for you to win unless of course you wanna buy a bunch of packages so you can have a lot of coins and then you can use all the little features to try and move the tiles around one time I did five features of spinning the tiles around and all five times there were still zero plays available
I would actually be willing to pay for a pro version of this game to have unlimited lives because I enjoy the actual game so much but all of the ads and the stupid rooms you paint are just a waste of time and energy

This game is a money grab with no payoff

Version 220000.1.195
At this point I’m out. Like other reviewers, some levels cannot be won without using boosters and it severely depletes your coins. I’ve spent 200 coins just to pass a level and it’s not even the levels labeled as hard or super hard. This game is a money grab. You go through 5 lives in less than 2 minutes to come back later in the day just to repeat the process. If you spend nothing that one level takes weeks to pass. It isn’t strategy and it isn’t relaxing. This makes me low key angry and it’s a game with zen in the title. I spend money on games for no ads and I am willing to spend a little if I want to get past certain levels but it’s like this on every 1 or 2 levels so not worth the hassle. I get they need to make money but this is unacceptable. Otherwise…. I would love this game because it’s a great concept just overly greedy creators.

I wanted to move tokens through a wooden maze, like the one in the ad. Download the app, and I'm in some sort of interior decorator challenge. If the developers know they should put the maze in the ads, they must know the maze is intriguing and the main part of the game is boring. Why not make a whole intriguing game, guys?

Game is fun, but…

Version 220000.1.195
It’s so extremely frustrating how money hungry they are. They only give you a maximum of 5 lives at a time, and you have to pay to get more. You also have to pay for coins to use powerups, which some levels are impossible to complete without, regardless of how skilled you are. You do accumulate coins for free by completing levels, but its extremely slow and if you get a super hard level, you can blow through them quickly. If there was even just a way to buy infinite lives, I would do so, but they dont even offer that option. Until I can just play the game whenever I want without worrying about the lives limit, i will probably move to a different game.

This game is trash. Once you get to a certain level, you literally cannot get through it without some sort of advantage token, or coins to buy them. And then I run out of “lives” and I have to wait 20 minutes to play the game again? Trash. And the infinite “packs” you can buy to play the game for literally ten more lousy minutes are constantly shoved in your face. They’re trashy, and it makes the game feel like a slot machine that takes all your money, but offers nothing in return.

This is a fun game that I really enjoy. This may seem very nitpicky, but I wish developers would get someone with grammar skills to proofread the affirmations. Many of them contain grammatical errors like extra commas and semicolons which make the affirmations feel cheesy. Kind of like how voice-to-text makes errors. Proper grammar in these powerful little messages would make the affirmations feel more sincere and less AI generated.

I really enjoy the game. I do the daily challenges. I collect the 30 coins daily matching the tiles which is a nice addition. I have not paid for anything additional in this game and am almost at level 1050. The only recommendation/comment I have is to proofread the daily affirmation when opening the app. The word ‘too’ is often used incorrectly in place of ‘to’. Today there’s use of quotation marks but only at the end of the sentence. There just seems to be some room for improvement.

I used to love this game because it has little to no adds. However, recently the levels have become very challenging to the point where it is stressing me out. This totally goes against the title of the game “ZEN match”. I am on level 320 and I am using up all of my coins just to get past a level and then I end up losing. This is very frustrating because once I lose all of my hearts, I have to wait 30 minutes to play again. I am truly disappointed in this game because I thought it was a good one but obviously not.

I just got the latest version and all of the sudden pretty much all of my garden collection was deleted.. 😭😭😭 they only keep whatever are in the latest 3 months. OMG, I love playing those games in the garden cuz they’re timing game and pretty easy to pass, and I’m doing it mostly for the coins as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the old garden collection bc that’s how I keep coming back to the game. If I can’t pass a level in regular mode, garden is where I go to. Please. Bring. It. Back!!!

This game is fun hard working and it really does need five stars in my opinion and it’s not a good one for the price but it’s worth the money to get a game with the highest score of all the games and it’s the most enjoyable experience I can imagine it being the most enjoyable and I love the fact you have a good time to spend the most time playing with the most people and the best game of the year so far I really enjoy the games but it’s a lot more of an enjoyable experience to be had in a city and not so far but it’s not so I don’t think it would have a good experience with a game like that I think it’s just more of an interesting experience to be able play to play in the end of a lot more fun to play in the game I don’t think I like the way you know how to do that is the game I think it was fun and it’s a great idea and it’s not like I like to say that I don’t like the best of all of the game and it’s a good idea THE END

i’ve been playing zen match for like 2 years. it’s the only game i’ve EVER spent money on. this is also the first app ive EVER left a review on. so this is clearly important to me 😂 i never had much to complain about until recent updates the new graphics look cheap i like the new look now but i’m missing some of the original look of the app. also the power ups offered during your matches at the bottom have now changed, specifically the mix button being changed to 20 coins instead of 10. the new updates with the coins and their prices have made the game honestly frustrating and not as fun anymore :/ i blow through my coins more now and spending less time on the game. i know it’s probably a trick to get me to spend more money but i promise you it’s not working on this loyal gamer/customer with this app 😂 if i’m not enjoying the game i won’t spend money or time on it 🤷🏻‍♀️ if changes continue to make the app more difficult or i see that the app developers care more about the money they can make vs the quality of their game then i’ll just leave. there’s plenty of other apps like zen match that also want my money too. plus i wouldn’t mind a game that doesn’t reuse levels like zen match does, y’all ain’t slick on reusing levels 😭

Before I began to play zen match, my life felt meaningless and I had no inner peace. Ever since I started playing this game, I have found it easier to continue with my tedious unhappy life (most days). Once I passed level 3476, both men AND women started to find me lovable, funny, and best of all zen. I cannot thank the developers enough for this game. After roughly 4 years of playing it helped me find my wife and we now have an 8 month old together. I truly cannot think of a world without zen match. If I go even 3 hours without zen match, I will go into a primal fit of rage. But when I’m banging on my chest out of anger, I am able to calm down just by think about zen match. As a 42 year old man, I never thought anything could bring such joy to me until zen match found me. however One downside of the game is that it does tend to make me purchase more lives. As of now I have spent nearly 10k on this game. I also wish there were more naked women. Still a great game 100% recommend.

I enjoy this game until I try to use a shuffle. It loses its “zen” when I shuffle 10x or more and fail to find the ONE tile I need. It never is random. It seems to want you to run out of game coins, putting winning within reach and then continuously hiding the ONE tile you need. I refuse to spend actual money on this game after seeing how rigged it is. Why would I put my money in a game that I know isn’t “fair”? Whatever this strategy is - is backfiring. I regularly put money in games that I enjoy, but by so blatantly rigging the shuffles, I will NEVER give you my money. You've lost my trust in FairPlay with this game. I can have 20 shuffles built up and 20 tiles left and yet my tile never appears. Statistically, this is almost 1 in a million that one tile doesn’t appear, yet it’s happened to me REPEATEDLY. I just blow through shuffles stubbornly, cursing the game as I get to my final one and still no tile. Takes the fun out of it knowing there’s no way to win. Shuffles are useless. If you don’t get the tile you need on the first shuffle, just take the L and move on. Learn from my repeated mistakes. Disappointing.

This game is not relaxing! It offers promotions, such as referring a friend, but then does not honor the reward. When I first started the game, I referred four friends,. The reward didn’t load. I emailed customer service and they did not want to give me the hundred coins I earned per new player. They grudgingly said that they would offer me 300 coins as a courtesy. What courtesy? I recruited four new players to your stupid game! I was dumb enough to try it again, referred another four players, and two of them signed up to play. I told the friend that Zen Match has a practice of cheating its players out of finders bonuses, so to please let me know when they load the game and start playing. Once confirmed with them, I asked for my bonus, and once again Zen Match, denied me. They said that “tech support” (in quote marks because it’s clearly a joke) doesn’t show me referring anyone to the game using my link. I sent back proof, both the invitation screenshots and screenshots of players at level 30 and level 100 of the game, respectively. They are not responding to my emails. I’ve emailed six or seven times with proof, no response. They are cheaters with hideous customer service who do not honor their agreements. This is not relaxing! What it is is pathetic. 100 coins is barely enough to get through a level, but at this point: it’s on! I want what I earned. Don’t spend your time recruiting new players!

This is one of my favorite games, but, my game data inexplicably advanced (and disappeared). One day, I was well below the hundredth level, had only decorated 3 rooms, and had over 200 points to purchase room decorations. The very next day, the game had advanced to over level 570, 53 rooms were decorated, and I had less than 20 points for room purchases. I gained well over 400 levels and lost resources that I didn’t use in a 24 hour timespan. It would have been nice to advance through the levels on my own and to have decorated the 50 rooms with pieces of my choice. I have put in multiple requests for the game to be uninstalled so that I may reinstall it and start from the beginning. It’s been well over a month, and nothing has changed. I still play the game, but will not invest more money to purchase upgrades. Also, beware using (or paying) for the tools that allow you to scramble the tiles. When you scramble the tiles it is mostly to your disadvantage and to encourage you to use more resources so that you end up buying resources just to get through a level.

The main complaint is you can play like 10 to maybe 20 levels then after EACH LEVEL YOU GET A AD. Idc if that’s how they make money if you make it to where the gameplay stalls and you have to constantly watch ads just to play one level at at time they probably just made the game for money. I like designing the rooms but I barely can do that if I’m watching ads most the time I’m on the app that’s ridiculous. You could easily make it to where you watch ads to get rewards and the app wouldn’t suffer. Then they randomly raised the prices of everything to where you earned 10 coins still but the abilities costed more. They went back to regular prices but that was definitely the moment I almost uninstalled. What’s worse about the ads is if the app crashes you lose a life. Waiting 2.5 hours for your 5 lives to refill is ridiculous and it costs a lot to refill the lives with coins so that’s also pretty scummy. They choose to go with scummy tactics a lot of mobile games do yo make money instead of making their game playable. The game has potential but I can tell they just want to make money off the game and not make a good game

I enjoy this game - although like others have stated it takes too long to replenish lives and the only other way to do that is through purchasing coins. That does take some of the joy out of the game. My main issue is with the ads this company has chosen to include in the free version. This is a matching game that children may play yet the ads they are choosing to show are for games like Kings Quest and Matchington Mansion which are PG-14 at best. Examples of the ads show a husband having sex with his mistress in the bathroom stall of a public restroom while his pregnant wife’s water breaks upon witnessing it. A husband showering with his mistress while his pregnant wife witnesses it and has her water break. A young woman showing up to a house asking to come in from the rain and then asking the occupant of the house to bathe her. And most recently , a scantily clad woman climbing a library ladder approached by another scantily clad woman - directing the player to slap the backside of the girl on the ladder. As a grown woman I find these ads offensive and they are completely inappropriate for young players. I am not opposed to watching ads, they often help to suggest new games. I am opposed to marketing smut to young people. For that reason I, sadly, had to delete the game.

Dear Zen Match. I had been greatly enjoying your game until I reached level 323 “Through My Window”. Raising the amount of games needed to “decorate” each item to 5 each, and doubling the number of items to color per room, seems likely a petty money grab. Not only that, but for some reason, I now have to play around 50 games to win one. You say that each game is winnable without boosters, but it is not true. I downloaded your game to be played offline because I am extremely poor. I cannot afford to buy my “gold” or extra lives, so I must play with the 30 coins I can win for free, and do so at only 5 lives at a time. I used to really enjoy the peaceful music, humming it to myself even when not playing. Now, I have to mute the game because the music is a reminder of the futility and frustration that has replaced my enjoyment. I used to play your game for many hours a day. Now, I play for about 5 minutes a day, as that is how long it takes to use up all 5 lives. I am so disappointed. Is there a way you might correct these issues, so that your lovely game can return to its former Zen pleasantness? I’m sure I can’t be the only one who is experiencing this same disappointment. Thank you.

To open the game, you have to click through 3-5 screens advertising bonus passes ($9.99) and competitions that you can’t enter without shelling out a lot of money. You win about 10 coins per level but the power up’s cost anywhere from 10-90 coins and the levels are not guaranteed winnable hands. Sometimes you’ll use hundreds of coins on a single level just to make it playable, especially once you reach higher levels (I’m somewhere over 400). You get 5 lives at a time, it takes 25 minutes for each life to reset. The cheapest coin purchase option is $1.99 for 125 coins. To refill your 5 hearts costs 400 coins which costs about $12-20. To get unlimited play for 6 HOURS costs $40. This isn’t on par with other popular games like Beat Star that costs $4.99 for 1 week of unlimited play, and they have to pay licensing fees. These game makers are just greedy. I wish you could go back and play the daily puzzles, even if you can’t earn coins because those are way more fun than the regular levels. I also had over 2000 lotuses and very few completed rooms, came back to find over a dozen rooms I never completed and barely any lotus flowers. Really shady.

Recent Updates/glitches ruined the game

Title says it all. I don’t know if it’s an update or a glitch, but the game has lost all of its fun for me. A few days ago my whole game glitched me forward about 10 levels, which isn’t a terrible thing, but gameplay since then has been pretty bad.
It started recycling the same four layouts, which makes it incredibly boring. The daily puzzle has become completely pointless because it no longer gives you two decor points, only a few coins. It marks your progress with the potted plants, but for what? You get nothing for completing an entire months daily puzzles.
It will no longer enter me into the golden piece tournament. I could collect 200 pieces, but when the tournament it over is says I’ve collected 0. It’s also changed so the first 20 pieces now only give you 5 measly coins instead of decor points.
I’ve also started having issues where every ad (and there are many) that plays freezes my game or slows it down.
This game used to be so much fun, I looked forward to playing it in the morning with my tea and breakfast. But now, there really isn’t anything that would keep me coming back. Very sad and frustrating

I have been enjoying this game, but I can’t really recommend it for three reasons: broken ads, overpriced store, & zero updates.
BROKEN ADS: There are a lot of ad breaks, but this is expected. However, the ad server they use is broken. Half the time the ads either freeze up or get stuck in a loop, requiring a hard close to get out of them. This is made worse by the game deciding that this counts as losing a life. So you get penalized for the broken ads.
OVERPRICED STORE: The cheapest & lowest amount coin pack (375 coins) is $8 USD. Given that this game does the usual free-to-play thing of trying to get you to buy stuff to continue, but the prices are too high. It’s a really blatant cash grab even for a mobile game.
ZERO UPDATES: Finally, there have been no updates to this game aside from “here’s a new room”, which is the least needed update. There are inactive power-ups supposedly for a future update that is probably never going to happen that greet you every time you start a level. And of course, there are the broken ads that should be patched.
In short, it’s broken, greedy, & neglected. The play itself is fun, but this isn’t the best way to experience it. Find whatever game from a reputable publisher this is copying and play that instead.

I loved this game when I started playing it. Now, I have been stuck on level 130 for a week. It seems like there is some skill to winning a level, but there is far more luck involved. Since I can’t win the level, I can’t obtain tools that seem to be required in order to pass this level, so I’m stuck. If I can’t get beyond this level in another week, I am dropping the game. Also, I paid for no ads, but I still am forced to stop playing when I use all my lives. It seems like I should be able to play the game that I paid for whenever I want to play. And, I don’t believe for a minute that it is possible to win the daily challenge by clearing that board in under 5 minutes!
P.S. After I wrote this review, I somehow managed to finally get past level 130 a week later. Now I have been at level 396 for a month. Sometimes I just go along and play my 5 lives, but I have not been close to passing this level after probably 100 attempts. I am playing the game less and less and will probably drop it soon unless it lets me pass to the next level.

I downloaded this game quite a few months ago because I saw the ads. When I first started to play I didn’t even know the daily games were a thing so I only played normal levels. Obviously they slowly got harder and harder as expected. But, it got to the point when they were so hard it look me weeks to pass one level. Maybe some of you do, but I don’t have that kind of patience. I started doing the daily games and I love them! They are timed but most of the time I can get them in one try. Now I only do the daily games and never the levels just because I don’t want to keep doing the same one. If you like a challenge maybe the levels are for you! They are definitely not for me.😂 One other thing is that my phone is pretty slow but I’ve found that this game crashes regularly. If you have a newer phone with more space you may not have that problem. I’m getting a new phone soon so I’ll see if it’s better. But ya! Overall, I love the daily games but the levels are ridiculously hard. I would recommend to try it out and see what you think!

I LOVE this game so much !! It’s so relaxing to play when I’m worried or nervous or just can’t sleep. I love to play it when I’m bored, or in my free time. I LOVE the lack of ads !! It has a reasonable amount of ads which is admirable too. I also love how you get to decorate and color rooms along with the satisfaction of matching the tiles. Such a fun and satisfying idea. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME!! I definitely recommend it !! I’m so glad I downloaded it! I wasn’t sure if it was going to be like the ads for it but it was and it was even BETTER than the ads! Love the whole idea and everything !! I also absolutely LOVE how it doesn’t need internet !! So I am able to play it when I have no internet including on a plane, in the middle of nowhere on a car trip, or just in general to help not use data or hope you the internet bill !! This game is great, really helps me. Hope others feel the same way !! Thanks to the developers for creating such a lovely and calming game. Best regards !! ☺️💕❤️

I have a few things that I absolutely cannot stand about this game. First, It’s super fun and addicting, BUT everything is so expensive. $6 to take away ads? Absurd. $4 to open a chest? Ridiculous.
Another thing, the timer on the daily puzzles starts before the tiles are even laid out completely, which I think is super unfair because some of those levels are pretty hard. It also glitches and freezes when you try to beat it too quickly. I messed up and ran out of room with 25 seconds left on one of them, went to the screen where I bought enough coins to continue the level, only to go back to the level and it said I ran out of time while I was in that screen PAYING FOR THINGS and wanted me to use even MORE coins to continue playing. I almost deleted it after that but chose to stick with it a little while longer. I do wish they would add a “start” button on the timed levels so it’s fair, rethink prices on things like ad removal, and fix the glitch (if it is one) about time running out after it asks you to buy coins to continue the level.

Still has potential

This game is very fun and easy to get hooked on at first. But like many of the other reviews have said, you will eventually reach an impossibly-designed level where you can either take a chance and run through your five lives, or you’ll have to pay for extra coins. I don’t even mind taking the risk, but it does take an unusually long time for lives in this game to replenish, and it doesn’t offer any way to earn extra lives aside from mKing a purchase. Most other games have shorter replenish periods AND offer you the chance to watch ads to get more lives; I don’t get why this one doesn’t. As far as the coins go, I agree with others who think it is clear they want you to spend money. They’ve added several new ways to get boosts and extra coins since I started playing but each is a dead-end for those of us on higher levels. For example, you can now earn coins for decorating a room. Cool! Except A.) we can’t retroactively get all the coins we would have earned from rooms we already decorated, and B.) you have to spend lotuses to decorate each element of the room, but you only earn lotuses when you beat a level. So you start running out of lotuses trying to get more coins to beat an impossible level, then you run out of coins too because the level is impossible. It’s just too difficult for no reason after a point.

Not so Zen!

At first the game was great! Then the advertising started! After I paid $4.99 a month for more lives etc and $2.99 for the gold pack which gives you a very small amount of coins, the game became impossible to find matches! If you pay more, that’s the only way but my God, way too expensive! If you want no ads it’s another $5.99! The adds make you want to throw your phone as the are constant! It’s the same ads over and over. Not so Zen after all!!
So I’ve had enough. This is an update. I liked the game as I could play while I had no internet connection. When the ads started I was unable to clear the screen. I’d hit the x button and it would only take me to a screen for the app but it would not close saying no internet. I kept having to restart the game. I’d lose a life, again. It happens all the time. I found I was overly frustrated with this zen game. I found I would get Mad over silly things after playing. Sorry after losing over and over. There is no purpose to this game any longer. It is a fail, try again to pure madness of a waste of time. It’s time for the game to go. Nothing worse than a game to calm you but you just want to throw the phone in a wall because it’s impossible to play. I’ve paid for the monthly one time and additional lives. But no more. What a waste of a good game.

THIS GAME IS WORTH DOWNLOADING!! This game is by far one of my favorites!! It is creative it’s fun it gets more difficult with the levels but not too difficult! It’s an amazing and interactive game it also lets you deign rooms which I found very fun and creative. Shockingly this game is also quite meditational, I love the sweet quotes at the beginning of the game. It’s by far a FEEL GOOD game. Now why did I give it three stars if I love it so much… we’ll ever since the updates it’s been very very very very very very laggy. It freezes during playing a game, the music gets all fuzzy, and even more during ads. This wouldn’t be that much of a problem if I was patient but no.. I go out of the game and then go back into it and my progress of the level I was almost done with isn’t saved.. so just a couple tips : 1. Please fix the glitch 2. Maybe make the higher number levels a little less difficult since I have to keep spending coins 3. Maybe also make level progress save for if you go out of the game! Thanks!!!!! I love this game!

Update - game keeps freezing for daily challenges and then when it starts again the clock has winded down. I have to play the daily challenges to get enough coins to try to attempt to beat level 619. Which is impossible. Maybe beatable 1 out of 100,000 times.
*****
This game was fun at first, but I’ve gotten to the point where the levels are basically impossible. They also have arbitrarily changed the coin cost for the hints and made it much harder to get coins from streaks. And their cost for coins is way to high for what it is. I wouldn’t even be tempted by it since it will only help for maybe 1 level at a reasonable price. But yeah, once you get to a certain level they are impossible without the hints/power ups, and getting those is hard when you can’t earn coins. Unless you save up for weeks on the daily puzzles and freebies. But you’ll be on the same level for a very long time at that point. I don’t think I’d even try to use them on the one I’m on, as it’s a lottery on if it would even help or I just waste a lot. Basically at the point of quitting, since it’s practically unusable now.

Where do I begin with this game. So first, it's not calming. You have to analyze the order of the cards and form a strategy, but over half the time, you're guessing because half the cards are hidden. It takes a long time for the lives to refill, it takes 400 coins to refill your lives sooner (which is a lot when your choices are to either win a few quests or purchase them), when the app crashes which is quite frequently, you end up losing a life. The game should give you a life every time it crashes. It also takes a lot of coins to use any of the helps. Basically there isn't a way to accumulate coins unless you purchase them or try your chances without using helps. It's not worth it to purchase them because you use them up quickly for the helps. Also, when you are stuck and you want to use the shuffle, sometimes it feels like they purposely do not give you the cards you need until you run out of coins. I like designing the backgrounds and the strategy is fairly decent, but everything else is frustrating.

Fun at start, but impossible at higher levels

TL/DR: Game is fun at lower levels, but the upper ones are in winnable and a waste of time playing. Lazy programming with too many tiles so matching 3 on some tries is impossible in the first moves. Find a game where success is at least possible without help. This game was fun for about the first 2000 levels. At the beginning, it is fairly easy but builds quickly. Then at somewhere between level 2000 to 2109, the puzzles are impossible. There is no combination of times you can choose that will allow to win unless you use one or more bonus “cheat” tiles. It just gets frustrating to go through 5 tries at a level in less than 10 minutes only to have to wait 2.5 hours to try again. Also, the amount to play on goes up from 60 to 90 coins which makes it even harder to keep playing. It’s to the point where it’s not worth the time and ads to play anymore. In addition, the ads for this game are misleading in that the puzzle they show in the ad is never available. The “tournament” and other “competitions” in the game are jokes because they have a time limit, but it takes days of play to get through one level let alone the multiple needed to succeed at the tournament. Too many extras that are just not needed. Make the upper levels challenging but winnable with out needing to use a scramble or the extra tile spaces rather than being lazy at putting random tiles of too many varieties in the puzzle.

Fun and all but . . .

I love this game, and it is fun and relaxing, but I have a few problems. 1. The fact that it is nearly impossible to pass the hard levels. If you are anything like me, you will think “oh those people just aren’t trying” no really it’s hard. You need a gazillion coins to pass the levels. 2. The daily puzzle is how I get gold, but it means I have to watch a gazillion adds to get enough gold to fail a level again 🙄 3. Just today, I went in, got a few coins, 10 to be exact, cause that’s how much a shuffle cost, only to find out that the price on everything had been raised. Shuffles were now 15 coins, and redos 30. Yet it still only gives you 10 coins per level. If you wanna raise the prices, you have to raise the salary! 4. I want to play the thing where you clear the huge board, that doesn’t exist. In all, 3 stars, cause it’s fun and all, but I want those fixed.
Actually, nvm, they lowered the prices, but still, it’s hard, and I forgot to mention the thing where you match mystery tiles. It gets as far as a shuffle and a redo, but then you have to pay for the chest, and I’m not allowed to spend money on games even if I wanted to, but if I don’t buy the chest, then I can’t get anything else, so please fix that

Fun but irritating

When I have full lives and a lot of coins, this game is fun. But then I run out of lives and realize I need to wait a whole 30 minutes just to get one life. And then I finally get one life, and attempt the level, only to realize that the way the tiles are organized it’s almost impossible to beat the level, so I try one of the tools on the bottom of the screen. Each of these costs more coins than what you get for completing a level. So most of the time, you don’t have enough coins to use a tool and just constantly use your lives to try to complete a level that you basically can’t finish. And all of the things they have for you to do where you can “win” extra tools require you to pay to get good enough tools to actually help you. They just want money, past a certain level this game is just irritating and not any fun. Many times I have completed enough levels to win a chest, and I see that the line showing my progress is filled all the way to the chest…and then it proceeds to not let me open the chest. Another time it told me I had earned unlimited lives for 15 minutes, I finally filled up the bar and then again, it proceeds to not give me the 15 minutes of unlimited lives. Overall fun until you reach a little over the 100th level.

Great game, but needs some tweaks

This game starts as all puzzle games do—way too easy. But it does start to get harder, and by level 150 or so, it can take days to get past a level, and that will go for a few levels before they become easier again.
My biggest complaints are two:
1) The daily games require an internet connection, especially for previous days, so they can show an ad about every other game. Trouble is, the daily games are timed, and the ad time counts toward total time for that game, which sometimes makes the games almost impossible (especially those that I finish with seconds to spare). The timer should not start until the last piece is in place. That’s just basic logic and fairness to the players. I lost 2 lives playing two previous days because I ran out of time thanks to the ads, but won the games the second try when there wasn’t an ad.
2) There is no way to contact support. The Support button takes you to an FAQ with no obvious “if you can’t find the answer, click here” link. Which is why I’m writing here, hoping some developer would see it.

This is not a strategy game

At first, this seems like a strategy game. You try to match up three tiles by uncovering certain tiles before other certain tiles. There’s a strategy to uncovering the correct tiles first and leaving others for later. I like that kind of strategy and working-things-out type of game. But very quickly, this game becomes a “luck” game. They start stacking the tiles in odd ways. You think that you’re going to uncover one tile that you need, but when you click on the tile on top of the one you need, you soon find out that there are three other tiles stacked on top of the tile you thought you could get to easily. That just stinks. Then there are the stacks of tiles at the bottom that you have to uncover. That’s all luck. If you click on the wrong tile and what you need is not underneath it, and there’s nothing to match in the mess up above, you’re out of luck. So I was hoping this was an all strategy game, and it really isn’t. I’m stuck at level 114 because I have no luck! It was fun for a while but it’s really lost its shine to me.
Also, how about awarding more than just 10 coins for passing a level? I spent 140 coins just to get past a level and then I earn 10?! The rewards are way off. They aren’t enough to give me the incentive to keep working on this. And for being a Zen game, it gets pretty frustrating pretty fast. Oh well.

So it’s good but a few bugs

I like the game but a few bugs and quite a bit of advertisements. So one bug that I noticed that when you go to do the daily puzzles I was wondering why I had such little time or what felt like I would have more time to complete the same daily puzzle but it seems as though when you have to watch an ad to play the daily puzzle it has the timer for the level going in the background while the ad is playing making it near impossible to complete some of the rounds if you only have a minute to finish it without an ad and with lives taking what feels like forever to fill up and only able to bank 5 at a time it’s discouraging. Another thing that’s a bit frustrating is when you can complete a level at the skin of your teeth like the last tiles popped and there is still one second left and it still says you failed the round. I think a time adjustment would be nice as well as fixing the ad taking up the time on the daily puzzles is a huge priority. Overall it’s a nice game that’s challenging in the higher levels.

Certain boards cannot be beat.

I have played this game once and for some reason it locked up so this is my next time through. The game is overall great but some of these puzzles just cannot be beat without the cheat tools like the ‘shuffle’ for 10 coins or the ‘hold 3 cards’ in the alternate queue. Several times I have got locked in a puzzle and my cards are just not shown anywhere on the game board. The example I am quoting is level 229 and there are only 5 sets to finish the game. I have 2 suns, and 2 violets on my board and 2 other singles. All of the matches for the rest of the game are visible except for the sun and the violet. There is NOWHERE Left to hide the ones I need but still, I shuffle, nope, shuffle, nope, shuffle after 10 shuffles still no sign of either of my cards. That is just impossible but also, there is nowhere to hide them????? All the cards on the board are visible unless you stacked directly on top of the bottom, but the remaining matches make that a statistical impossibility…. I will not be spending and more money on the game as it is just a little too dumb sometime as far a a fair and fun gameplay. I like a challenge but there are still bugs to the game play and that ruins it for me. Long time player and I have had enough. If you like the game, it’s well done, but soon enough you will see it is not working correctly and it drains your coins to force you to buy more.

Don’t get invested!

I really enjoyed this game until about level 170. At this point, like many other games with the same format of passing levels to accomplish a goal (word villas, project make over, etc.), it becomes impossible to pass levels without many power ups which require some kind of coins which cost real money to obtain (for the most part). They do not have any kind of daily rewards that are given. They have competitions where you can win stuff, but this requires passing levels which brings you back to needing coins and having to spend money. I have been stuck on level 178 for 4 days now and have used roughly 30 or so lives. I had coins and power ups in the beginning but used them all on this level and do not want to spend anymore money on the game to get more. Especially after having paid to remove ads which was $6.99 (higher than I’ve seen for any other game). Heck, I could buy more or less the same game on pc for that price and that would be the FULL game. I’m not sure why you can’t just buy phone games this way. I understand they are often being updated, but many games that you buy full version of still update as well, hints expansion packs. Phone games truly are money traps. I really need to stop hoping differently and finding myself disappointed.

I would really love if they would let me redesign the rooms I’ve done in the collection sections! I have a lot and sometimes I don’t have many blue things and they get higher in the amount you need per item at the level I’m at. HOWEVER I LOVE THIS GAME. I have made it to level 895. I don’t have money to spend on mobile games I spent 5 dollars when I first downloaded it and since the en just save coins when I’m on a winning streak. I see people saying they’re stuck and just quit, but I have been stuck for a few days and just took a break. Come back to it when it feels relaxing again. You’re not meant to play the game forever you’re supposed to chill and play and if you’re losing stop for a while. I wish the no ad’s wasn’t $6 I’d totally buy it if it was less or went on sale but I’ll just watch the ads at that point. It has helped when I’m feeling anxious and need a distraction sometimes. I wish I could design the rooms for less of the flowers it takes I wish it stayed at 2. It’s harder to beat levels this high and I really like the décor part of the game and I definitely have not been able to enjoy it as much as I would like to and was able to when I first played.

Now I play this game a bunch of times a day, but it’s nothing special. It takes 30 minutes just for one life to refill, with a max of 5 (this takes way too long, especially because the lives while glitch out a lot) The levels aren’t very hard. The vibrations are nice I guess. The room decorating is a total waste, it has like 15 total colors for everything, and they’re all pretty ugly. You can’t pair colors very well without everything being the exact same color. Also there are daily levels which you play to get some sort of plant, the more you play the bigger the plant, but it’s unclear why. I’ve never figured out where the plant goes. It doesn’t become part of the decorations, since you just chose colors for pre chosen furniture. There’s no room for them, they’re just in the calendar as an incentive I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
Edit: I’m now on level 1940, and I’m fed up. I’ve been stuck for weeks, and I’ve tried getting 30/40 coins for a mix up from the daily calendar, but it’s slow since I have to wait a day for another level. The lives are really annoying, this is supposed to be a chill game but you have to wait so long for more plays. I will not be purchasing coins, they’re a waste of money and might delete

if i could give this game 100 stars you bet your zen match booty i would 😍. this game has brought me so much zen it is unreal, really brings out the zen in zen match. the design is beautiful and i love getting new tiles. there is almost nothing wrong with this game and i will continue to play it until my very last dying breath. i will give all my money to this app if you asked. i am definitely your number one player as i am close to beating all the current levels. send me zen match merch or put me on the pr list i will support you and advertise you till i’m dead. honestly anyone complaining about this app just honestly isn’t that good! simple as that! 5 lives is plenty and waiting really isn’t that bad sometimes. people just need to learn a simple kindergarten rearm known as patience 😍. please never change what you do or how you do it because you have me reeled in so far there’s no going back. i could write about you for days baby but i gotta get back to my level 😍. sponsor me you won’t regret it i swear. give me brand deal ❤️

A really fun game at first. Can’t remember what level I deleted the game on but way over the 100th level. At first I enjoyed playing the game I didn’t make any app purchases at first. I simply waited until the live refilled which would take up to 30 minutes a life. I didn’t want to purchase to remove ads so I would exit app refresh and enter game again so I didn’t have to watch the ads. I noticed that once I completed this move the app would remove one of my life’s. I ignored it however I began to purchase coins for life’s. You need 400 coins to replenish 5 life’s. That’s an absurd amount noting the cheapest bundles only gives you about 175 or 200 coins. Once I started making purchases I noticed that the game became more difficult and with out the advantage of the help at bottom of screen shuffle 10 coins, back move 20 coins and remove 3 cards 60 coins, which you have to pay for in coins. This is expensive in coins. So I decided not to spend money on coins anymore which made it more difficult to pass levels. I had my final straw at losing a game and going to the are you sure you want to give up picture on your screen and seeing I had 15 seconds until my next life. So I exit that game just to get to the Home Screen and the app took my only life after the clock ended in 5 seconds. I don’t know if it was a glitch but I’m done. I deleted the app this game is not fun once you start making money purchases. It’s money trap.

I liked the art of the tiles to match and enjoyed working out the puzzles, for a while. I actually spent real money to get the boosters that let you pass the hard levels, but all they did was take my money without giving me the boosters I paid for. So you beat the levels and get the tokens to decorate your zen room, but unless your favorite colors are all shades of brown, not much from which to choose. Occasionally there’s a dull blue or green, yippie. (Why the tiles have such pretty colors and the rooms have such ugly ones I’ll never understand . . . ) Then make your selections from those boring browns, spend the tokens, and surprise! Next time you log on, your changes are gone, you’re back where you were, however all the tokens spent are still gone and you have to earn them back again. Oh, by the way, lets say you click the support button for help, right? You get your choice of various articles available to read, none of which have anything to do with the problem. So you’re told to contact them for more help. Guess what? There’s no way to do it on site. I spent over an hour traveling down every rat hole, still nothing. Bet that really cuts down on wasted customer service time if customers can’t find you to complain. Congratulations, I’ll be deleting the game soon.

I have been a fan of matching games since I was young. I enjoy the reward of decorating a room with the flowers earned. I wish as the levels get higher, the cost of choosing the color of the items are proportionate to size of the item- it costs 4 flowers for a floor or a wall, and also 4 flowers for a single vase on a table. Another reviewer said they are stuck on level 145 and that the game is designed to take money. I am currently on level 703. I have purchased coins once- but as I got more skilled at seeing the pathways to matching all the tiles, I have been able to see when using coins to continue the game is cost effective, and when I’ve simply screwed it up beyond repair and need to start over. I have wasted some coins on refilling lives, but if I run out, I use that as a sign that I’ve been in my phone for long enough, and it’s time for a break from screen time. Overall I love this game and will continue to play 😀

I’m on level 300-something I’ve only paid $6 to shut off ads. If you lose a life it takes 30 minutes to get it back. I like this feature Bc I either do well and get longer game play or I do poorly and it forces me to put my phone down and be more productive. I like it in the morning specifically or before an exam Bc it calms me down while helping me helps me clear my mind and think strategically, wards off that groggy feeling. It does seem like some puzzles are impossible. My favorite part of the app is the daily time based puzzles however there are a few w the time set to 1 minute and there’s absolutely no possible way to clear the amount of tiles given in a minute. Those ones feel like coin traps. Also another complaint is if you’ve been saving coins you’ll only receive 20 coins when you reach your level bonus. However if I have no coins i receive 100 at level bonuses. I understand why they do it but I feel like some bits are a little scammy hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

I’ve really enjoyed the game so far (I’m on level 77 as of the time of this review). The levels are decently challenging but usually I can get through them first try.
However, every two levels, it forces me to return to the Home Screen. I just want to continue playing the game and it’s a quality of life issue that annoys me. At this point the decorating stuff costs three special points per item, so making me return to that screen every two points is not helpful.
Secondly, the daily challenges are almost impossible. They run on a timer, which doesn’t make sense for a game that is supposed to be “zen”. I’d actually play the daily challenge if it wasn’t timed, because it’s such a big puzzle that is challenging in itself. Either that, or it needs to not take lives. I don’t want to waste my lives on something unbeatable, so I don’t play it. I think it would be better if it was untimed, or at least didn’t eat away at your lives.
It would also be a nice quality of life update if you earned more of the blue coins as you progressed in levels. Only earning one coin per level means as you move through the rooms, you have to play even more levels just to decorate something small, like a lamp or a stack of plates.
Those are the main three issues I have with this game at the moment. The ads aren’t overwhelming and the gameplay is good. There’s just some changes that could be made to improve things in terms of QOL gameplay.

Been playing for 4 days. This was a fun game at lower levels like most games. I’ve reached 139 and it’s impossible unless I add money to get coins. No way to add coins unless you buy them and at first they are easy to get when you complete a level, now it’s to hard to finish a level unless you got plenty of money to put into the game. I myself like free game apps, where you can earn what you need to play them. I played all day and never went up a level. The short game before the main game is not needed and don’t know why they put that in there. I finished the a few cute rooms but yet to figure out why I decorate them I get nothing for doing them. Two small match games every 10 hours let’s you win 1 mistake move and 1 switch all the tiles move, third of course wants to to add money. NOT at all anything like they advertise, maybe that’s at some ungodly level you will never be able to get too. Note that you don’t have to loss a life by when you see there is no possible way to win the level, log out of the game and reload and life is not lost.. thing is you can’t win!! Buying coins daily gets expensive. It cost $60 to keep playing, 20 to put tiles back, 10 to switch them around. Coins go super fast in playing this game :( not worth it, will be deleting it. Good luck!

I actually enjoy playing this game. However, I got caught up in purchasing the coins. It takes 30 minutes for the game to give a new life and is full at 5 lives (so 2.5 hours to have all the lives restored for free). If you are into the game, you have to pay for coins to continue. It takes 200 coins to replenish. Second money dump, if you get stuck in the game and want to scramble the towels or any of the other two ways of extending the life to continue playing will cost. Now, there are free ways to get these bonuses but they are few and far in between and are teasers to pay for them. I have been stuck at level 145 for a really long time. I think I advanced to this level only because I had been paying for these coins to continue the play so I could advance. Now at level 145, I decided just to pay for coins. I wanted to see how difficult it would be and how long it would take for me to advance. I have not been able to move to level 146. I REFUSE to give it another dollar now that the game is set up to take advantage of its consumers. As long as you pay, great. When you don’t pay, you can play but you won’t move. Cash Cow. Beware.

The only reason I downloaded this app is because I wanted a way to relax and just kind of chill after a long day or something. And at first when I opened the app, the first maybe 10 minutes of this game was amazing. I loved how satisfying it was. But when I was about fifteen minutes in, I ran out of hearts. So I thought, “oh, I’ll just pay 200 coins for more hearts.” But I didn’t have enough, so I went to check if there was any other way for me to play. But the only way was for me to buy more coins with real money. And I’m not really the type of person who pays for games because I always find it a waste of money. So I went to check when the next time I could gain more hearts, and it was 20 HOURS. I had to wait a whole DAY just to gain like five hearts. So what I’m saying is, you can only play the game maybe once a day if you’re not willing to pay. Overall, this game is not my favorite but it’s not the worst, I just don’t like the way the creators think they can scam me to buy more coins that will probably be pretty useless to me. Okay bye person who’s reading this. have a nice day or night :)

I was not planning on writing a review about this but it is my last ditch way to reach out to the developers and hope they care enough to listen. I needed to reach out for support with a glitch in the game and tried the support button. It led to a list of FAQs, none of which addressed my concern. They had an additional comment to “contact us” for more support but no contact us button, email, link or anything. I tried the app link here and where is says “App support” the link takes you to the developer’s website. No where on there is a support link or contact information. I tried searching every page and link and no success. All I want to do is let them know about a glitch that may cause them additional negative reviews if it happens to others and not being able to contact them has led me to give them a negative review when I don’t actually dislike the game. If a company does not care enough to allow us to reach out about a problem then this is what happens. If they rectify this situation and add a contact link or reach out to help, then I will withdraw this review.

I really liked this game when I started it and even paid to remove the ads. There are several things about it that have driven me away. First of all, you can’t purchase coins at a reasonable price. When I first started there were reasonably priced packages available. Now, the cheapest I can purchase is $7.99. I find it strange that price of the packages go up as you progress in the game. Another thing I really dislike about it is that there’s a short game before each level that, as far as I can tell, is pointless. Also, there are no daily prizes or any incentives really to keep you coming back. There is a daily game, but it’s almost impossible to win. I feel like this game is designed to hook you at first and get you to spend a bit of money, then move on. Some have also mentioned the lives - it takes 30 minutes to regenerate one life! To continue without losing a life, it takes 60 coins. To put this in perspective, the cheapest package is around 360 coins for $7.99. That’s just too much money! Too bad, because if it were reasonably priced, I’d keep playing. I really liked it, but I can’t blow that much money on a game.

I think I progressed too far in the game. I was doing the puzzles for the sake of the puzzles and got to the point where there was no more “coloring scenes” to change. I still had plenty of blue flowers (though, I stopped earning those per level too) for when future scenes came out so I kept going just focused on the matching gameplay. I kept running out of coins which the game kept offering me in exchange for actual money (which I did once). I needed the coins because the levels were more challenging at this point. I waited until I passed the level by sheer luck and watched the ad to triple my sparse 10 coins earned to 30. The button wouldn’t always work but I figured it was my phone being weird. Except now the button is gone. If I can’t get coins efficiently without regularly spending money, I’m not going to continue playing. I just beat the game and now I’m done. 🤷🏾‍♀️
It gets two stars for the actual gameplay. It was challenging at times but not terrible until I passed the “expected threshold”. I do think if coins are spent for at most 60 for the most expensive assist, the award should be 20 or the multiplyer should be 6. Some of the harder puzzles use at least 2 of these.

Beware!!!!

Rip off!! I have spent so much money on this game and I love it but the makers apparently think if you’re stupid enough to spend your hard-earned money, you will be stupid enough to miss all the ways they rip you off. Where do I even start? They rig this game so you’ll spend money. For starters, 9 times out of 10 , when I earn my reward of infinity lives for so many minutes I am not credited. When you spend 10 coins to reshuffle the board, it takes MANY times to get a match to play. They want you to spend all your coins so you have to buy more! Also, it takes 200 coins to buy 5 lives… the closer you are to 200, the less amount of coins you receive when you “level up” after 10 wins. Again, they don’t want to give you enough to buy more lives because they know that once you’re addicted, you’ll spend the money for them! I expect that… after all, most apps are strictly created with profit in mind. However, this is beyond unfair! I love the game, I really do. But because of the number of times I’ve been ripped off, I’ve deemed it unworthy of my money and will now delete and look for a similar app. Their loss! I was a spending a lot! 💁‍♀️

Like others have said this is a good game and does have potential. However this game is clearly frustrating and clearly wants you to spend money. 1 life every 15-30 minutes. Some levels are near impossible without lifelines or spending money on coins. And then the daily levels? How much harder can those be? You clearly have no where near enough time to solve them so you end up again being forced to spend money or coins. I don’t get a lot of adds which is great but $5.99 to remove adds an no other perks? I don’t want to delete the game because I like the concept but man this game is frustrating…be warned.
Deleting the game. Can’t take it anymore. For a came with Zen in the title far from it. I’m only on level 117 but at the point where coins are needed to proceed. Having the option to watch a video to add coins or shuffle would be great for those that don’t want to pay. What’s more frustrating is it’s not even the same tiles so you can plan better. All different combinations. Sad because this had potential…

Just let me play your game!

I feel like I’m fighting this game to let me play it. Just let me play the game you made, I’m begging you! You only get to have a max of *5* lives, and you get one every THIRTY minutes, it’s nuts. The levels also get rather repetitive after a while, they all have one stupid easy-mini-level before you get to the ridiculously hard/possibly impossible-without-lifelines real level.
Also, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this, THE ADVERTISING VIDEOS/PICS THAT SHOW MASSIVE LAYOUTS (the first pic on this very app page) DO NOT SEEM TO EXIST. If you wanted to download this bc of that, you’ll be disappointed.
This is a less egregious level of false advertising than most apps these days, but still I wonder why it’s legal.
It’s all really frustrating, because I love the premise of this app and its core gameplay. Just drop all the dumb paraphernalia (false advertising, aggressive pay-to-play models, etc) that developers seem to think are required now, and this would be a great game that I would probably spend more money on, since it wouldn’t force me away the way it is doing.

I’ve been playing for a week, at level 317, have “created” 18 completed rooms which is your reward for playing. I’ve spent probably $40 on game play ‘coin’ in order to complete a level so I am allowed to add one more color to my ‘room’. But I’ve just deleted the game. Great concept, really enjoy the more meditative experience of gameplay, but the quantity of ads is simply too much - basically a 10-30 second ad every time you transition from one screen to the next: finish one game and want to go to the Home Screen? Ad. On the Home Screen and want to go update your ‘room’? Ad. Going back into game play? Ad. $5.99 to remove ads which I would be willing to do if the game wasn’t such a blatant pay-to-play setup. There are levels you simply cannot beat unless you use game coins - don’t get me started on the timed challenges of the daily games - some are just impossible without use of MANY game coins. I spend a lot of time and money on app games and this one just isn’t designed well enough to hit the sweet spot of ‘challenging but doable’ and I’m not interested in supporting a developer who clearly just wants to grab ad dollars and make players spend money to play with any real ease or enjoyment. Want to entertain your kids for a minute? This could work - but for anyone with an attention span, I believe this will just be a frustration.

Was fun, but then got bad.

Game was fun! Even got challenging (the good kind, keeping the mind sharp) after a about 20 levels. But then it went from being a fun slightly challenging game, to being near impossible. Bad model. You want people to buy coins, yes i get it. But making the game frustrating to use makes you lose players! I get you wanting people to spend coins to get more lives, therefore them having to buy the coins. But having to wait HOURS for 5 lives, on impossible levels, is definitely grounds for deleting. People dont want to be overly frustrated trying to play a good game, we understand you have to make money. The ads arent even a problem, its just not enjoyable to play. If youre going to make us wait hours for 5 lives, the least you can do is give us 10 lives and make levels after 100+ be NOT impossible. Ive been stuck on 272 (this isnt the first time im experiencing this) for days because i can never seem to get any card matches. I even spend the coins to continue on, and still matches are so spread apart its impossible! Please fix your app or i predict you will become one of the great games that unfortunately bite the dust and have to run an unskippable ad every round because you dont get the downloads you once did.

Fun but…

I enjoy it, but it seems the higher I go, the more impossible the levels are. I’m on level 549 and I have been trying to beat it for days. It doesn’t help that each time I try again, the tiles have completely randomized so I can’t even use a strategy to try and win it but instead it’s chance all over again. I also wish there was a “watch an ad” feature to earn a life. 25 minutes for one life is insane. I do wish to play endlessly and get my zen on but I can’t do that when it takes 5 lives to one level. I also earned all of the rooms and stopped earning blue things which is fine but if the game updates and has more levels, I could have earned A LOT of blue things if I would have just waited for the update. If it wasn’t for that I am still unlocking backgrounds, I’d have deleted it. I also wish I could use my coins on other things like lives. And if not, to at least earn coins more quickly… or to earn more coins per level but keep the helpers the same price. They’re costly, and for no reason. Having a “watch an ad” feature for these would also be great, especially for the helper that costs 60 coins. Overall, it’s a good game, but the cons have me wanting to delete it more every day.
