The absolute worst app of all time
Where do I even begin. Constantly crashing, never allows you to start the app and simply stream a show, makes you log in with your tv provider every single time you open it. Multiple buttons don’t do anything. Truly the worst app I’ve had the displeasure of using and they should be ashamed to force people to use such absolute trash.
Utter garbage and a waste of everyone’s time. 10 billion dollar company. No matter then number of times you reach out to customer support they do nothing. Thousands of posts on the internet complaining about how awful this is. Nothing. They don’t care. They’ll take your money and do nothing to improve the customer experience. CBS you are scum.

Answers to loneliness
I enjoy watching the lives and storylines of the various characters. The writers do a great job of keeping me in suspense as to what is going to happen next. What saddens me is most of the storylines follow a pathway of loose sexual immorality, which really leads to loneliness and despair.
I’m not sure if the ‘watching world’ caught Deacon’s (SWAT) remark to Heather, “now the world will see for who you really are”.
Does the world see the lies and immorality acted out in front of us.

Needs more consistency
I’m happy today because it’s working again, but it wasn’t working for me for a couple days and I had to go to Paramount+ instead to watch my soaps and so I was not very happy because it took me a while to find another place and what I believe should happen is even if there’s some kind of error we need more information to know what’s going on It’s not fun to be kept in the dark and just not know why something’s working because then so much of our time is wasted trying to figure out ourselves. Thanks.

Chromecast
Whenever I try to stream to Chromecast this week. It doesn’t cast. Never had this issue before. I deleted the app, reinstalled, restarted iPhone, checked for all updates for cbs, Chromecast, iPhone, all is up to date. Even restarted the TV and Chromecast. Still won’t work. All other apps cast tho.

Doesn’t work with chromecast
This app is useless when trying to chromecast to the tv. Their tv app requires you to connect your cable subscription, even though some things on the app are free to watch. You can’t click ‘connect to TV’ until 2 minutes of ads play, then it doesn’t work, and when you try again you watch 2 more minutes only for it not to work.
Other apps feed you ads based on time passed but CBS continues to feed ads over and over even if it has only been 10 seconds.

Worst streaming app I’ve ever used
The mobile app is no picnic, but the TV app really takes the cake. I had time to write this whole review while waiting for a commercial to load, and then it crapped out in the middle of an episode and made me sign in to DirecTV TWICE before letting me watch the episode, not from where I was before, but from the very beginning. This is a very typical experience every time we use this app, something goes wrong literally every time.

Still needs one improvement to get a 5 from me.
I've been using this app for a while now since I do not have a cable box in my home office, and the only problem I had with the previously has been fixed: I had to log into my account every 24 hours. This was really frustrating and I previously wrote a review to express that. What I found for the past couple weeks now is that the app remembers the fact that I logged in, really liking that I don't have to continuously add my information.
My one remaining issue: for some reason on some of the shows, it goes back to the first episode of the season, or the most recently available one, even if you've watched it, when you click on the play next option. For example, I've been watching Beyond the Gates since it started 2/24/2025, and I watch it almost every day, but when I pick the show just to play next, it always goes back to the oldest available episode on the app. If I haven't been able to watch in a few coupe days instead of it picking up where I left off, goes back to the very oldest available with my cable subscription. This doesn't happen with every show, but I find it happens with FBI International as well. It would be great if they could fix this.

Terrible at streaming from the mobile app and casting to the TV
This app is terrible at casting to the TV! It repeatedly says optimizing for video playback and never loads beyond that. I have internet speeds above 500Mbps and so I know it is not our internet. The commercials play perfectly but the actual show/move won’t play past the commercials. You would think a big broadcasting company like cbs would have their app working properly but they can’t seem to get it figured out.

Can’t connect to your tv provider even though you signed in
I am trying to watch the Price is Right live tv by getting access to my tv provider which is Spectrum but it won’t let me connect in this app wherever I go. It’s telling me to reset the password on the Spectrum website but I don’t want to do that. I also tried to sign in to Spectrum with the username and password but it keeps saying that the records don’t match. Please fix this problem or find a way for us to watch live tv without the tv provider so that everyone can watch it wherever they go.

Love the programming, but…
I watch very little TV, and when I do, it’s streaming. Kudos to CBS for making programming available free of charge/without cable. I’m having a problem I’ve never had with another app. I have a 10 GB plan, as I do most things on Wi-Fi. Despite having cellular data turned off within the app, on two separate occasions, cellular data was magically turned on, and I unknowingly used 2 GB of data. One time could be a “me” issue. Twice and we have a bigger problem. I don’t know if this is an Apple or a CBS issue, but beware folks. I was so disgusted this morning, I deleted the app. Could developers add a notification when somehow you’re magically using data despite data being off?

I’ve fully enjoyed the opportunity to watch CBS in the app. Like everyone, we aren’t able to consistently set aside the day and time to watch great acting on our favorite TV series. The CBS app makes that possible. I can catch up on episodes I’ve missed whenever I have the time, or even binge watch productions recommended by others. I’m delighted with CBS!

Shocking amount of commercials
Update: I watch one show that has two post credits scenes. One where they highlight the next episode and then a 30 second segment from the eliminated player. This year they put FOUR MORE commercials between these two segments. So that is 4 commercials, 2 minute post credit scene. 4 more commercials, 30 second scene. Ridiculous, awful and why I will use this app as infrequently as possible.
Maybe it’s bc I don’t watch traditional tv anymore but the amount of commercials per break is really intense. Six in the last break. And they are relatively short to squeeze as many brands in as possible but it’s just a lot to get through. Luckily I only watch one show.

Why in the world does the iPad CBS app have different viewing rules than the AppleTV CBS App??? If I go to watch the show on AppleTV the CBS App REQUIRES cable provider sign in (Not Cool), but if I stream the show from the CBS App on my iPad to my AppleTV it plays without cable provider sign in… Please CBS make your apps operate the same & without cable provider sign in. That would great!

In this time and age, with hate, selfishness and violence so prevalent all over the world, Blue Bloods gives our Family a ray of hope, love and light. Blue Bloods is a REAL Show. Yes it has its happy endings but it also features trials and tribulations and yes usually overcoming them. It is a show filled with Hope. Goop app just one feature request
I like the app a lot but I wish there was a feature where it shows you how long all the ads will take because at the moment it will show how much time is left of the current ad and then u don’t know how much advertisement time really is left because the ads are more than one. Why why why
Paramount plus offers way too much I don’t like and I refuse to watch, this cbs app is cbs only and available with a cable tv subscription lol through your cable company. CBS is so backwards. Why not make this app CBS+ allowing individual subscriptions and keep paramount with the rest or at least offer a separate subscription for cbs only viewers without the nonsense of the paramount app the interface is horrible and it’s just overwhelming so I cancel. I’ll wait until they wake up and see hey we have this app for cbs lovers who only want to subscribe to this app and then allow us. Advertisers beware cbs is not using all revenue streams for your advantage.

I’ve been watching CVS for as long as I can remember since I was young this is one of the best besides ABC of course my daughter works there lol and this has I love the shows all the shows that you have my favorites. Of course you just have clarity everything is just perfect. Sometimes, I am not able to watch my favorite shows in time due to doing other things, with this amazing app I can watch whenever , wherever.I really enjoy Price Is Right and now, I can watch it and just sit back and relax. If you want to watch your shows, or even try to watch ones you have never seen, get this app, I promise you will enjoy it. But I do not like how many ads I get while watching something, it’s very inconvenient but otherwise good app.

Worst program ever!!!
In a progression extending over many months the program has deteriorated to the point where a tv provider sign in is required for EVERY episode of every program I try to view. Most times even that process needs to be successfully completed two or three times to work. This situation always happens when going from one program to another (SWAT to 60 Minutes for example.). Now the process must be done, sometimes repeatedly, for episodes of the same program (60 Minutes to 60 Minutes.) Signing in for a single episode can now take up to 5+ minutes or sometimes is not successful at all. Best of all in requesting support from the application page I was informed “Please be aware that due to a high volume of email, we're unable to provide a response, but do appreciate you taking the time to contact us.” How odd that I don’t appreciate the time they didn’t take to contact/help me. This application should be removed.

[UPDATE 10/22: you can install but literally can’t open the app, it just closes so you can’t even get to the menu. On both my TCL and Roku+. The ONLY app that has consistently done so on Roku. LOL!]
Used to watch CBS This Morning every morning. Stopped a half yr ago b/c on Roku you literally had to uninstall, reinstall and sign in to your tv provider on the app EVERY DAY or you couldn’t watch live tv. Didn’t do that obviously, stopped watching entirely. Just gave it a try again and it literally won’t install - when you get to the app and press install it just closes lol. This has never happened on any app I can remember just CBS. This is on BOTH my TCL R615 and my Roku + on my Samsung so it’s not the TV or device. Oh, and on iPhone - the only place where it usually works half the time - the live feed becomes inaccessible b/c I get a “Concurrent Streams Fatal Error” message, apparently if just one person else on the account even on the cable box is watching you can’t watch either, something that NEVER happens on NBC/ABC haha. SUCH A COMPLETE S-SHOW OF AN APP. You guys lost a viewer for life. Well, I might try again in a year or 2. Worst functional streaming app, and that’s saying A LOT

Emergency 6-Mo. Suspension of DirecTV
Due to an unexpected and very expensive car repair, I had to give up the luxury of cable television and my CBS favorite shows.
Thanks be to God, I have discovered this app, and am now able to take a break from the demands of hard work to practice self care since discovering CBS online (and the quality is better than my t.v.!). The shows CBS presents are not only fun, they are decent, ethical, honorable, and professional, thoughtful and inspiring. I love the cutting-edge technology CBS delivers to families!

Ads constantly freeze during AirPlay
Ads constantly freeze during AirPlay and there’s no easy way to fix it. This thing is so buggy. And when you restart, you’re forced to watch all the ads over again, as the app doesnt remember either where you left off or that you’ve already watched ads within the last 30s. It’s obnoxious.
The developer/customer service team clearly didn’t read this review before pasting in their canned response. I’m talking about Apple AirPlay not Google Chromecast, and the devices are obviously on the same network or it wouldn’t play at all. It’s a problem with the ads freezing, which many others have complained about in reviews. Your response is embarrassing. Dropping from 2 stars to 1.

CBS app is great!
I really appreciate being able to catch up on episodes I have missed. As a child, my father used to say not to worry, I could see it later in re-runs. That’s not the same when you are following a series you really enjoy. It is like missing a family member’s birthday. Price is right
One of the most best entertaining shows on TV. The host, Drew Carey, is such a gentleman! And Jewish we call him a Mench. I feel so sorry when someone doesn’t get it. Much different than Bob Barker who was such a womanizer. I have been watching this show since I’m a little girl and I love it. Everyone knows not to call me between 11 to 12 when my show is on. I wish I could be a contestant on the show. Best wishes for continued success

It doesn’t “remember” your place… starts over and rewatch SO MANY ads 👎🏼
App would have five stars if it remembered how far you were through the program - so you didn’t have to rewatch ALL the ads too! As it is, if you have to pause the app (answer the phone, check a text, etc), you might find the app restarts and you get to restart your show (and ads) from the beginning.
If the app remembered your place (as it used to?) you could just jump back - but no. Rewatch the opening ads (short, granted), then scan to where you were and REwatch maaany more ads. I GET they need to use ads, but the fact I’ve REwatched an *additional* 15 mins of ads and am still only halfway though the show makes me want to uninstall (again).

Don’t even waste your time trying to screen share from your phone to your tv
Thinking about watching a show you missed the day before so you try streaming it to your tv? Well most likely it’s not gonna work and the cbs will bug out on you. Every week my family and I love staying caught up with the show Survivor but have busy schedules so we usually have to wait a day or two after to watch it so we make food get all ready and we will get about 15 minutes in and the ads will freeze and it’s basically impossible to make it change or go back so then we have to restart the episode and when we try to skip forward it will just do the same thing and freeze, if we get lucky the ads will just play through if we watch through it, another thing we have the risk of is the episode throwing us back 10 minutes from where we were in the episode and then making us rewatch the ads we just watched if we try to skip toward to the place we were at in the episode ended and risking them freezing on us again. The app is buggy and just feel like it’s some scam to gain money from the ads it makes you rewatch when you try to watch one simple episode.

Do not download! Fatal errors every time you use it.
Worst streaming app I’ve ever had. You spend 40 min watching a show and get a fatal error before the end of the show. Missing out on the end of every show every time I use the app. I send an email describing the problem only to get told to…get this…force close the app and reboot. As of I didn’t try that 263 times myself. Then I get told to call an 800 number, which is to Paramount Plus. Not CBS. Therefore, they can’t help fix any fatal errors. So basically, you have to live with watching a show only to get fatal errors before the end with no resolution or ways to fix it. (And no it’s not my brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max not my perfectly running and setup cable service. App is up to date). Doesn’t happen with any other streaming service or app. App has obvious bugs they know about but won’t fix.
Update: Dear developer, fix the bugs in your app instead of sending the same form email to users having trouble. If all these people are having the same issue, logic should tell you that it’s YOU! Your app! Not the users. Sending the same email asking people to force close, turn on location services and reboot isn’t going to fix your buggy app.

I’m very disappointed! I’ve been watching shows on CBS like NCIS, FBI, SWAT,MC GYVER, MAGNUM PI, BLUE BLOODS for many years now I can’t upload because it requires a newer version of Apple IOS. I’m a senior citizen who can’t afford new Apple equipment every year. I’m also currently on leave due to my injuries, so all I have is to watch my favorite shows on my iPad which couldn’t be upgraded to an IOS 13. It’s hard to watch shows on a phone.
Why does it have to be upgraded to a newer IOS version?

Error error error on every show
I get so annoyed with this app. My favorite shows are streamed here and I am now getting fatal errors every time I try to play a show. One commercial, fatal error. I am pretty sure I have watched the t-mobile commercial enough times to get a free paramount plus account. I have gone to your terribly unhelpful web site to determine if its me or you. Since I had no issue streaming yesterday and I have the latest version of the app, Im going to call it a you thing. I get frustrated that even with a log in I have to re watch 5 commercials that I have already seen because the app doesn't remember where I left off of a show. Get it together. These issues with this app is one of the main reasons I havent lept to paramount plus. Im not paying to deal with these same issues.

Still doesn’t work
This app works for everything until it’s time to watch football. “Fatal error” message every year for the last 4 years AT LEAST. What does “fatal error” even mean?? Who died?? Then they try to respond to the negative reviews with a basic template response with a number to call. The number is bogus just like this app. It’s not my internet, it’s not my router or anything else. Every other app on my Apple TV and phone works, everything else within the CBS app works. Just not live TV when it’s time to watch a football game. I don’t know how or why this app has such high reviews I guess those people aren’t watching football. Whatever CBS. Hire some new people or something. It’s 2022 how hard can it be to maintain an app.

Recent issues
I have not had many problems with watching CBS on my iPad except for the last 4 episodes of the Y&R not being closed-captioned (CC) .What the heck is up with that?!
I checked the CC feature, clicked off/on the English text version and deleted and re-added the CBS app all to no avail - also shut down the iPad and restarted it, and still NADA!
Now I am relying on reading the Soap Recaps to get caught up with recent events. This is very frustrating and I hope techie will look into it and get the issue resolved. Thank you.

Great App
I have been using the CBS app for years. I love the app and will continue to use it. I typically have no complaints with your app but recently I have disappointments with the updates. Is it possible to put the name of the show back on your homepage of the app? I go by the days and only watch certain things so if the name is not showing then I have to open it to see what the name of the show is. Is it possible to separate the daytime and prime time shows so it isn’t as many to go through? Again I love your app and will continue to watch!

Absolute crap.
It doesn’t matter if it’s the CBS, CBS News, CBS All Access or Paramount Plus apps, I have spent almost three years with Apple and CBS trying to work out the endless myriad of bugs in CBS apps especially with respect to Apple TV. Apple and CBS were both very fast to blame each other but seemingly refuse to clean up the problems despite countless video recordings, screen shots, screen sharing, diagnostic tests, log submission and on and on and on.
And then I get a developer response asking me to take the same steps I have over and over and over again. What part of “…I have spent almost three years with Apple and CBS…” do they not understand? This is corporate arrogance at an unforgivable level.

Big pain
First you have to get this app to recognize your TV provider. Not easy. Not automatic. Could these gigantic companies not figure it out? Then the next day, assuming you got in the previous day, you will have to go through it ALL again AND sign in AGAIN. Yes same house, phone, provider…? But that is not as easy as you might think. Or does not just sign in. No it has to do some backend hand shakes that take forever and frequently fail. Oh and when in, the episode of whatever you were watching won’t pick up where you left off. You have to start over and fast forward 10 seconds at a time. I swear when an app is this bad I think it is some sort of practical joke. And how does this app have any 5 star reviews? Hmmm. I am sure those are all real people. Hey CBS…don’t let an app ruin your brand and make people give up on the content.

Dare not rewind or forward
Or you’ll be forced to sit thru 6 ads AGAIN. I understand content has to be supported by either subscribing or watching ads. There has to be a finite number of ads required to support an episode. Either the developers are lazy or management dumb - if the app looses focus (call comes, some one at door you pause, you want to take a leak, just rewind and watch the last 50’sec) it will replay ALL the adds, doesn’t matter if it just did this a minute before or 10 times in last 30 mins. Its horrible - might as well take away the free option - at-least folks who can’t afford would be spared the pain!

New updates are excellent
Had deleted it months ago because of issues. I love that I can fwd through some parts. Occasionally I watch shows live but have to leave it, and hate using cable providers that will not let me skip through parts. Or the bloody, trauma inducing parts.
Thankfully they realize many people may have triggers.
Do not mind if commercial as long as I can skip through some parts of show.

1) can you add back the name of the show in the latest episodes views. It only shows the episode number and title. I have to look at the picture in an attempt to determine the show
2) Please please please add the ability to resume an episode. If you have to pause and return at a later time it takes you to the beginning of the episode and then you have to scroll forward and attempt to find where u left off

I had great success with this app until a couple of weeks ago! What the heck is happening? Now every time I go to watch a show on my device I get kicked out!!?
Soooo aggravating, what used to be a five star app as definitely changed. I am having no problems with any other app. Please please fix your app. Please fix whatever is happening that kicks me out. Very frustrated!!

Sunday Morning shows on CBS
There are 3 my wife and I make sure not to miss regardless where we are. The first, “Sunday Morning” keeps are a-tuned to human elements of life and nature - doing it to perfection - from week to week. Hats off to weekly choices, they are always winners in our minds AND hearts.
The two that follow are different type of winners for both of us. Being the needed grandparents, we greatly appreciate their quick updates on the time critical (most often political) events dialoging with most relevant people on a topic at hand.

Love Jane P. CBS Sunday Morning!
I have enjoyed watching this show throughout the years growing up. The one thing I look forward too each Sunday morning is a cup of coffee and turning this show on. Its not only the information presented but the tone in which its presented. It’s obvious the producers have attempted to capture many view points but opportunities as well to experience another view point including the end with an appreciation of nature. Thank you for simply taking the time!

What happened to CBS mornings?
After the 2012 reincarnation of the show we switched to CBS after having been long time fans of NBC’s Today show that had slowly evolved into almost pure entertainment. The then new format led by the formidable Nora O’Donnell, was a well balanced broadcast with real journalists speaking in normal voices, and the set was tastefully crafted to look welcoming, and not like the set of a kids’ show. The welcome and long missing regular inclusion of international news, intelligently delivered political analysis, and carefully picked lighter news graduated the program to be among the world leaders of morning news broadcasts. Regrettably, many of the best journalists have slowly been moved to other shows or left, and the show’s creators have chipped away at the format, culminating with the revamp of the show on September 6, 2021, when even the set design is screaming at you. For now, we will take a rest from the show and look elsewhere for meaningful content and a less contrived delivery.

All other entertainment apps save my place in a show
It is so frustrating to have to get rebooted back to the beginning on a show, have to watch more ads to restart the show, and then have to watch even more ads when I scroll to 28 minutes, which is where I left off. This is the worst app of any of the entertainment apps I use. I don’t have to sign in on the free NBC app. If I’m on the same device, it keep track on my place in the show. With this CBS app, I start watching something in the morning, and when I go back to it after work, I have to start all over and rewatch all the ads I watched earlier that day.

Very disappointing episode
I’ve watched this soap opera for as long as I can remember. I’m so disappointed in the show that aired of Tara being arrested for fraud. Everyone makes mistakes. I know it’s just a soap opera but it sends the message that a person no matter what their financial status, not letting a mother have contact with their child sends a horrible message to the public audience that this is all ok & people with money can buy their way into taking a child away from its mother. If it was drugs or abuse I can totally relate. Same on you producers.

Fatal Error - Downloading This App
It's always jarring to have some notification pop up on your screen in the middle of something you're doing – interrupting you, startling you, forcing you out of what you were doing to deal with whatever message has frozen your whole system to make itself known. For users of Apple devices, this jolting horror is an everyday occurrence, usually happening multiple times a day. "Space is low", "new iOS ready for you", whatever. It never is something urgent enough to have to deal with right away, but it has to be dealt with right away because it just interrupted you out of the flow and enjoyment of whatever you were doing. That's the price for using any Apple device.
But just imagine — instead of saying "Space is low", the message says "FATAL ERROR. You have exceeded the maximum number of video streams." Fatal? In the middle of an app purely designed for entertainment ? Because if you're using the CBS app, that's what you're watching it for.
In the middle of am excellent episode of "Bull", right at the most dramatic and touching moments, I was interrupted FOUR TIMES with the "FATAL UPDATE" message, freezing the show and forcing me to back out and simply hit play again. Fatal?? Not so much. Infuriating?? You bet!!
And BTW, I was interrupted while writing this review with "Software Update - New iOS ready", freezing me yet again for maybe the 10th time today.
CBS and Apple. What a winning combination!!!!

Need old version back
I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because since the app was changed yesterday, it’s asking me to update to the new version, which I’m unable to do because I don’t have the required IOS, and I’m not able to update my phone. So I deleted and reinstalled the old version, but it’s still not allowing me to use it, and asking me to update it again. I’m really disappointed that I won’t be able to use this app anymore.

UI Is Terrible
So, let’s say I want to watch a series with sequential episodes. The kinds of series that run on… let’s say, CBS. And now let’s say I fall behind a week on this series. You know, because I’m a human in 2021. Well, if I log back into the CBS app a week later to pick up my show, the show link under “Keep Watching” takes me to the most recent episode, not the one I was last watching. I now have to search for the show, navigate to the episode menu, and then select the episode I had in progress. How can it be that every other streaming platform has figured out “pick up where you left off” EXCEPT for CBS and Paramount+? How can it be that ViacomCBS’ app developers just looked at this basic function of streaming (and the watchlist — come on, people, how do you leave off a watchlist??) and just said, “nah”? Is this like a “Producers” scheme? Is someone trying to make this fail so they can walk off with the money?

Kids say the darndest things
I remember growing up with Arthur Godfrey show and watching it every time it was on never missed an episode and I’ll tell you what these are updated and they are still great because kids do say the darndest things we raised eight of them that’s kids and we love everyone of them and now they’re all old enough to have their own families and raise their own children so shows great keep it on

Paramount + vs CBS App
I had CBS All Access for 5 years and loved it. I liked The Good Fight and other originals. However since the switch to Paramount +, I’ve had a hard time getting shows to load or play. It’s happened more times then not. Why pay for something that doesn’t work. I’m seriously contemplating if) when I’ll drop Paramount +. I love watching NCIS original and New Orleans, Mom, and really like The equalizer. The CBS app allows me to do just that! Thank You CBS App!

CBS App
I should get paid for doing this. The CBS App is pretty good. Usually, the most recent shows are free to watch. Great stuff, but I can’t watch anything older without a subscription to CBS All Access. Maybe make older shows from let’s say Young Sheldon available more often. Let’s say at least occasionally. I would like to see more free episodes from shows like Danny Phantom and other great shows made for kids. I guess you can say I like a little bit of everything!

You had one job...
The Apple TV version of this app lets you watch live TV and on-demand shows... once you sign in with your cable provider login. This is a nice feature, but has a glaring flaw — you have to sign in with a multi-step process every single time you use the app. Every single tome. (The NBC and ABC apps have the same feature, but they keep you logged in for months on end before requiring a new login.)
I think this is a bug. It’s not supposed to work this way. But when I alerted the developers they had no idea how to fix it. Definitely ruins the user experience of an otherwise decent app.

I had so much frustration watching all my favorite half hour comedies with your old set-up. They would cut off during the show 3 or 4 times in a half hour and the week long wait to even watch episodes.
Now you make me feel like a first class citizen with this new app. Those issues have disappeared and I am lovin it-especially thankful you have kept it free for a not so rich first class citizen like me! THANK YOU

Painful to use
This app was horrible. Attempted to watch Oprah interview with Harry and Megan. Took five attempts to get the show to start. Made the mistake of pausing it 15 seconds in. This required a reboot of the phone and a few more tries to get the show started again. Tried to rewind 30 seconds when I was 20 minutes into the show. This required another restart of the app and sitting through a bunch of commercials to get back to where I started. About 40 minutes in, it stopped for no apparent reason, and I had to get out of the app again, restart a few more times, watch a new set of commercials, fast forward. Oops, overshot and need to rewind a few minutes. That’s gonna cost me. Forced watching of more commercials and then it hangs and won’t restart. At that point, I’m out and the app is removed from my phone.
