Rewards

I love Alo products! But I am very disappointed with the reward system. When it first started I got a few great items. Since then the items offered aren’t that great but more frustrating is that items are always gone. I have shared my views a couple of times already. I have wasted at least 5,000 points. Which definitely has impacted how often I shop at Alo.

Yeah this has been such a frustrating experience with alo. I just wanted to buy clothes but for some reasons they keep canceling my order. When I called them they said it was my bank, so I called my bank and they said it was Alo that was cancelled it. I called them back and got absolutely zero answers or help. Apparently they can’t do anything to fix this or send me to someone who can. I got zero help, so when I tried to delete my account apparently it has to get approved by there team first. This is honestly really disappointing, I thought they would actually care about giving good customer service considering their brand and how expensive it is but turns out they don’t care about you unless you’re a celebrity.

Inventory Issue Causing Misleading Gift Promises in ALO App

I want to share feedback about the ALO app because it needs improvement. If a welcome gift is added to the cart, it should only happen when the item is actually in stock. The same should apply to the ALO Wellness System gift. If the gift is out of stock, it should not be displayed or added to the order. Instead, a different reward should be offered, or nothing should be added at all.
In my case, the gift was added and then later canceled, and I did not receive anything. That creates a frustrating customer experience and feels misleading.

Alo has the quality behind the name to match the class act of excellence in customer service. This business knows how to treat their customers. I am always impressed with their style and quality of clothing. Never a stitch out of place. Never a problem. For the rare occasion there is a problem there is a quick and easy solution and I am never frustrated. The clothing lasts and wears beautifully. Consistency in sizing too. Some may say expensive but you get what you pay for and honest I figure with the quality I get I should have paid more and didn’t. Worth every penny and I am their most loyal customer and fan. Don’t knock until you try

I’m honestly obsessed with Alo Yoga men’s underwear. The material is incredibly soft, breathable, and comfortable enough to wear all day without any irritation. The fit is perfect—supportive without feeling tight—and they hold up really well after washing. Definitely one of the best pairs of underwear I’ve owned. Checkout glitches & Apple Pay not working

I’ve had repeated issues with the ALO app during checkout. After entering my payment details and clicking “submit payment,” the app resets to the beginning of the checkout screen, forcing me to select my shipping option again, then enter my payment details a second time before the order finally goes through.
Additionally, Apple Pay appears as an option, but it does not work. There’s a generic “could not charge card or could not process payment" error, even though my card isn’t declining, and there isn’t an attempt to charge my card. When I check Apple Wallet and look at the transaction history for my card, there isn’t anything from ALO showing that it even attempted to use Apple Pay to charge my card.
These payment issues make the purchasing experience frustrating and inefficient. Please investigate and resolve these payment processing bugs.

So I love aloe obviously so I got the app to keep up with the updates and trends, and I’m amazed by how you technology troubles there was I only have some technology troubles in those were fixed except for one, but that one I don’t count because it doesn’t really affect me anyway so I love this app and if you love all you should get it too even if you don’t know you can get some cute clothes if you join a little membership thing, then it gives you special birthday rewards! Anyway, need it, love it, adore it!

Birthday gift

I made a purchase this month, and because it was my birthday, I was supposed to receive a birthday gift. The purchase arrived at my house, but the gift never did. And I never received any message or email about it. I contacted the Alo team and they told me that the gift didn't arrive because it was out of stock, so they offered me a 10% discount on my next purchase. I didn't accept it because I don't think it's fair. They have a program where you earn points and get a gift on your birthday if you make a purchase, which is what I did. It's not my fault if they didn't have the gift; they could have sent something else, I guess. I honestly think this is all a lack of consideration for their customers; they really don't care about their customers. I AM FRUSTRATED WITH THIS SITUATION!

Disappointing

The customer service is lacking substantially. I’ve attempted numerous times to use my reward points, including being on the phone with a rep for over 90 minutes only to be told there is nothing that can be done. If you’re going to make the reward points expire then you better be offering sufficient items to redeem reward points on. This is very manipulative and deceiving. I enjoy Alo products, however working with such rudimentary customer service is such a disappointment.

I am very disappointed with the delivery process and the overall experience with the ALO website. In October, there was a 30% discount, and I was excited because I had been wanting to order the beige ribbed set, the top and the pants, for a long time. I placed the order through the app, and there were only a few items left in stock, so I managed to get them just in time. The top arrived within a few days, which was great.
However, the app then informed me that the pants were delayed and would be shipped later as the second part of the order. I waited for a long time. Later, the app showed that the pants were out of stock, and that I had to wait until they were restocked. Then a restock date started appearing, but it has kept getting pushed further and further back.
I contacted customer support three times, because I ordered pants that were in stock, not a preorder. Support apologized, but said they couldn’t help. One agent even suggested filing a “lost package” claim, so that I could receive the pants faster. I waited a week, but nothing happened. Today, I contacted support again and was told that it’s impossible to file a lost-package claim for an item that is considered a preorder and has not been shipped. I asked them not to promise customers faster shipping through a lost-package claim if that option doesn’t apply to preorder items.
Today they once again told me they would do everything they can. I truly hope these pants arrive at least by the end of this year. I needed this set for an event, and of course, I didn’t receive it in time. I placed the order on October 28th. I am very upset, I don’t want a refund, I simply want the pants I ordered.

Single dad frustration

I’m a single dad of two girls and a business owner I live in Dallas Texas and I never put bad reviews on Google and I’m not gonna do that here I’ve had some frustrations between your app and my Apple Pay. I’ve gone to your store sometimes had some challenges with waiting in line and is an incredible brand. It’s hard sometimes to be a single dad, not knowing what he needs or wants and the process being so much frustrating. I’m just venting here and hope somebody can look at this and maybe look at some improvements for guys that aren’t great with technology nor busy malls and stores. Alo canceled my original order.

Purchased the Ivory Sherpa jacket over a week again and they couldn’t fulfill my order since they oversold their stock on Black Friday. I paid full price for mine and paid for expedited shipping only to have it not show up for 8 days and then I get an email stating my order was canceled when I never cancelled my order in the first place. They delivered the welcome gift package and said that part of my order was delivered and then when my actual delivery was delayed they ended up just cancelling my order. I reached out to customer support, they told me there was nothing they can do. They said the only thing I can do is re order the item, well it’s sold out now and so now I don’t get the jacket I originally paid full price for just so they can fill their black friday orders they couldn’t fill apparently.

Looooooove ALO but unlove the “Gifts” for Points

I have had up to 58,000 A year ago, I was able to get two really cute bags. However, the “gifts” that are listed over the past several months definitely do not show appreciation to your customers that spend 50 k plus each year. Instead, these items show just the opposite. They show that you all would prefer to buy low end items in bulk and then pass on to great customers as you all giving out these “amazing gifts”! Just so you know, you actually lose orders this way because in the past when you had decent items to choose from, I ordered items just so that I could use my points for a gym bag or the other nice gifts items you had once upon a time.

I have had an issue with products not getting to my home. I order things and I order them pairs of two and I only get one. This is happened on more occasions not on one shipment alone. I have reached out or tried to reach out on whatever I could find on the Internet and I never get any response. A recording I’ve been putting on hold forever. I’ve written and get no answers. Hard to filter

App has some good points but super hard to filter through what you are looking for to find exactly what you want. Then you only have two reward options. I have almost 6000 point and I can choose a pair of docs or nothing on the app. After spending $1200 in last 24 hours. Socks that my only choice. Scentsational Experience

I have never heard of this store until last week while shopping with my daughter who is in her mid twenties. The store is visually appealing but what drew me in was the scent. While she shopped for upscale high quality active wear-I searched for the source of this scent. I love Doterra essential oils as a rule-but the scent diffused in the store was calling my name! I am the person who is highly sensitive to perfumes as they give me an instant migraine or tightness in my chest. This oil did none of those things. The store clerk opened the diffuser to share the name. It was “Uplift.” They sell them individually or in a set. I purchased 2. One at the store and one will be delivered. I highly recommend these if you need something ultra light to lift your mood. This would be a great gift for a new apartment or home; office space; boutique; or teacher gift! I’ve gone back and purchased the impressive diffuser that they use in the store because I am leveling up. This is my new favorite store.

Disappointing Experience with Alo

I recently attempted to shop at Alo, lured in by their sign-up coupon, but was thoroughly disappointed. The coupon simply did not work, which was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, when I received the items, I found the material to be cheap and not at all worth the price.
Given my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from Alo. There are better options out there that offer both quality products and reliable promotions. Save your time and money!

I love this app so much! I don’t have to go to the busy mall here in Utah so the app with 1-2 day shipping is absolutely amazing! Since being a priority access member, I get my order within 2 days. If I need to exchange or return something- I go to the store. But the app has saved me so much time and usually most things are sold out at the store anyway! What’s up with passwords?

I created an account save the password in my phone then try to log in and I’m told over and over again that my password is wrong even when it’s saved on the phone , I’m not typing it!! Then I give up and hit “forgot my password “ you say you’re sending me a link to reset my password AND NEVER GET THE EMAIL WITH THE LINK, after hitting “forgot password “ 6 times and I gave up and had to login using my FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!!! A total pain in the ….. of it wasn’t because I was buying my daughter’s birthday gift I would have given up and go to lululemon to get the dress!!!!

Love clothes, but could use work

This app could do better. I love the clothes, but it’s really glitchy. During the aloversary sale, I kept trying to purchase a hoodie, but every time I tried it glitched and it didn’t let me pay. I tried both a credit card and Apple Pay and both didn’t work, and the next thing I knew it sold out. I tried on the website, same problem. I tried getting 2 other items, and nothing worked. With lululemon, I had no problems at all with paying. I just clicked Apple Pay, and they rolled out my order. Also, I cannot find out how to write reviews, because there is no option to write them. And when I look in the reviews, there is no option to see the reviews with photos, so I have to keep scrolling until I see one. Alo addiction

MJ changed my experience with ALO!!
It was my 3rd time , in a few weeks ago and after greeting me n asking what I was in for , MJ ended up, bringing me basic pieces along with other things that I was looking for, for a vacation.... I have since then been able to order more pieces online, and I am looking forward to going in soon again when I need another round of Pilates and lounge clothes!! I'm obsessed !!

Poor customer care

Easy to follow leads to more questions than answers. I am simply trying to get my gift card given by Alo if you choose to return something and find new items. Where is the email I should have received a week ago? You already sent one saying you refunded my items and I’d get an email with a number to put somewhere else just to get something done here takes an act from congress! Girls app, needs help for guys

Recovery Slippers

I ordered them on 12/01 and Alo pulled the money out of my account. I called 1/07 waited on hold for 30 minutes, and I finally hung up. I chatted online with them about my order on 1/08 and they said my order was still not fulfilled. I ordered the slippers over a month ago, they were a Christmas present. The lady chatting me said they are not going to fulfill the order due to it being OOS (Out of stock). On their website the item is in stock. She said she can cancel and refund my order. I didn’t recent any type of communication from them until I reached out my order. They were just going to keep my money and not fulfill the order until I requested a refund. They didn’t want to honor the price I originally paid for them and pay for expedited shipping for them. All they said was 10% or $25 sorry for the inconvenience. It’s sad when big companies don’t respect you as a customer like little companies do. I really wanted to support this brand but all it did was leave a bad taste in my mouth. Their customer service was horrible.

Doubles order.

My order was placed twice and I was unable to get in touch with anyone regarding canceling at least one of the orders and refusing me. Returning them after receiving them is not an option considering the merchandise is not returnable due to being on sale. I was to speak to anyone regarding canceling one of the orders, even tho they offer a number, email, and live chat for customer service. The live chat is not in English, and when calling the number you will be listening to classical music for over and hour before finally giving up and ending the call. Then you’ll send an email only to never get a reply. So you send another, and still no reply. This app and company is not reliable and has even worse customer service beings it is nonexistent.

Terrible service

I ordered 12/3 received it on the 10th but way to small , usually gets 0-2 so I have to exchange them ! I been waiting for the update until i decided to called them to find out they received my returned already but haven’t updated anything and cancelled it because it is not available ( 12/24 )
Also placed an order the Sherpa jacket on the 12/17 and the customer service also says that they cancelled it because they don’t have it in stocks !!!!!! It would be nice if they would extend an effort to let the customers know !!

Made the switch from Lulu to Alo

During Covid I was a Luluhead. Everything from head to toe. Over the past year I started noticing quality and style decline. Boring, I guess. I went to The Grove hoping for that that Lulu Spark,
Nothing. Walked out empty handed once again.
Alo was a few doors down. OMG!
The energy was full of joy and excitement. It was like a fireworks show mid August. Sparks everywhere. Loved the selection and customer service. Thanks Alo for reviving me.

Do Not Return - Bad Customer Service

I LOVE ALO. I have thousands of dollars worth of it and recommend it highly. With that said, the customer service and return process is literally a scam. Please do not return or exchange ANYTHING. They either steal it or lie, or don’t refund. I wish I was being dramatic. You call and no one has notes from past calls, you can’t hear anything at the call center. Never use to be like this. Disappointed

Title: Extremely Disappointed with Alo Yoga's Poor Quality and Unresponsive Customer Service
I recently purchased a top from Alo Yoga, and I am utterly disappointed with the quality and the brand's inability to address a simple issue. Despite following the care instructions diligently, the sweat stains under the arms refuse to budge, leaving me embarrassed and frustrated.
First and foremost, the fact that a supposedly high-end brand like Alo Yoga produces clothing that cannot withstand basic wear and tear is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect the products I purchase to be of superior quality, especially when paying a premium price. However, this top has proven to be nothing more than a disappointment.
It is disheartening to see a brand that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction fail to address a legitimate concern. The lack of response only adds insult to injury and shows a complete disregard for their customers' experiences.
I find it incredibly frustrating that Alo Yoga seems to be more focused on marketing and promoting their products rather than ensuring their customers' satisfaction. It is evident that they prioritize profit over quality and customer care.
In conclusion, my experience with Alo Yoga has been nothing short of a disappointment. The poor quality of their clothing, coupled with their unresponsive customer service, has left me feeling frustrated and let down. I would strongly advise against purchasing from this brand, as they do not live up to their claims of providing high-quality activewear.

This Brand Simply Doesn’t Care About Its Customers

While there are any number of non-app examples to demonstrate Alo doesn’t care about its customers (probably because Alo is enjoying peak popularity and has insane margins for now), the app is demonstration enough.
Example 1: to add your birthday on the Alo Access page on an iPhone, the UI provides a date picker. That date picker allows you to go back in time a month per tap. I’m 43. This means I’d need to tap more than 513 times to get to my birthday. This is absurd. No one who cares about their customers foists this terrible UX upon their customers.
Example 2: When you filter by things like gender, size, etc. on a page - like when there’s a sale - it provides results filled with products not available in your given size because they’re “sold out online” and you can add your name to a waitlist. Again, this is absurd. It makes the filtering useless. You must click into every single dang item you are interested in to see if it’s actually available in your size. The whole point of filtering is to remove products that aren’t available in your size to limit what you need to look at and save you time searching. This is an epic failure.
Both of these examples are things that some simple testing and a very little thought would avoid. However, Alo doesn’t care about its customers so it doesn’t think and doesn’t test.

I’d like to know why when I downloaded the app the prices went up significantly? Is the joke on me? If this doesn’t adjust. You will lose me as a customer. The 30 percent off for accolade is $84. On the APP the same accolades are $105 with 30 percent off from $150. Why try to fool the customers? That’s not okay. I’m not sure I feel okay about representing your clothing line if you going to cheat customers. It’s a shame because I love your clothes. This and Free People is all I wear. Accolade Straight Leg

I just got these in fog along with the cropped hood and LOVE them!!! I put them on immediately and haven’t taken them off. Color is beautiful and I am buying the ski puffer right now!! Only Moderately Intuitive, But Pretty Good

I was surprised that the navigating through Alo’s app was only moderately intuitive. Also at checkout the pay option buttons seemed visually close, and when I accidentally touched Apple pay instead of PayPal, it started to process the payment (I’m assuming this because the message that suddenly came up was “processing.”) So moving on to the good: search and scroll for items were quick and images and descriptions were helpful. I was glad there was an option to find out more on the FIT of each item.

Get new App designers

App doesn’t work and it’s not working and it’s cheap. The app is the stupidest app ever created by the company. I wouldn’t recommend using it and buy your stuff online because Alo created a horrible, effortless, and time consuming login that scares away users. I had 6 friends who downloaded it and couldn’t sign in and they really wanted to buy more clothes. Lol they ended up buying from another company because the login system was horrible. Don’t waste your time, Alo is a clothing company and their website and their app reflect how pathetic their digital products are.

Can’t even use because I can’t log in via Facebook

Downloaded the app for “easier shopping”, but I can’t even place an order because I can’t log in to my account! When I signed up for an account, I used Facebook login, which isn’t an option on the app. I can’t login using my email address, because I do not have a password since I used Facebook login. So, back to the actual website I go, as this app is completely useless to me, and will be deleted after I write this review. Such an easy update to make but I see reviews from a year plus ago having the same issue so it doesn’t seem like Alo has an interest in fixing it.

Good App

The app is good except for an issue that constantly changes my currency to that of the country I am in when I open it and there’s no way of resetting the currency to US Dollars. That is really annoying since I have to delete the app all the time and sometimes it reinstalls with the wrong currency!! It also keeps signing me out of my account and again, I have to sign in every time if I want to make a purchase so I typically end up buying on the website, instead.
Please fix these issues!!

App is crap

Almost every app in the world, except those that are cheap, will allow automatic filling of your name and address etc. also most apps will allow Apple to choose a difficult password automatically and then automatically sign you in when using the app. Not this one. This app has none of these features. I will not use the app because I don’t trust it since the design is so flawed. I don’t trust this app. What else did they cheap out on? So I’m not using it. Contact me when you have updated the app and I’ll buy something.

Good but needs a couple upgrades

The Alo app is pretty easy to use. However it does not allow you to rate your purchases or write a review about them. It looks like a lot of the reviews are mixed up and not for the product you’re looking at in the app. It does not always search correctly too. The search feature doesn’t always pull in everything. Sometimes it was in the products that I’m interested in but it doesn’t all the time upon such in a second or third time it will pull in different options.

Great but could use some features and a fix

The app is very easy to navigate and intuitive. I love the interface and I love the clothes. I wish there was a way to favorite items or save them for later. I’m also encountering a problem with checking out using afterpay, I get all the way to the screen to confirm and place the order and tapping the button to complete doesn’t do anything.
