Update!

It has a variety of stories and extremely beautiful girls in it. You dont want to know how many times I enjoyed each story. If you want to play this, expect to pay up. Paying doesn’t bother me much, especially if you are attached to the story.

It’s now 2025 and this app never seems to amaze me. The stories have gotten much better. The daily rewards are great! Keep them coming. Thanks so much!

Great game!

It’s a very uniquely anime styled choice game. I love the tons of stories and how some have sequels. I do wish however that that there was some way to carry over the end choice of your girlfriend into the next book since it’s the sequel, however it seems the 2nd books do not have much relation to the 1st.

Highly Disturbing

I used to hold this app in high regard, but I then read the story “All That Remains,” where you, a likely 34 year old man, end up dating (and sleeping with possibly) an 18 year old girl that just graduated Highschool who you thought was your daughter a year ago. (She’s not actually.) I truly pray I’m not the only one who finds that borderline pedophilic. Needless to say, I uninstalled and will not be picking this back up. Highly disturbing.

Bugs and overall structure

I’ve been reading these stories since 2018 and I’m used to the idea of having separate ticket amounts for each story, like for 2 different stories you would have two different amount of tickets for each story. I think we should have 2 tickets per story instead of 2 tickets for all of the stories. Anyway I noticed a bug where if you decline the download for the story you lose the ticket that was spent getting in, I’m not sure if it is indeed a bug, but if it is please fix it🙏

Don’t get me wrong this is a great app and a good way to pass by your free time but my complaints like many are about the ruby system and I feel like it’s absurd that in this version for iOS there’s no type of mini games like android devices where you can get coins and exchange them for rubies and instead to get the rubies for premium choices you have to either put in money towards the game or complete the challenges or login daily just to get a measly few rubies at a time being that the max amount of rubies needed for these premium choices cost 30 rubies. Fix this please by either lower the cost of rubies to spend on these choices or adding a mini game to give us a chance to earn point for them

Rental Girlfriend

I’m very disappointed and upset. The Rental Girlfriend story is among my favorite ones to play. Celina and Zoe have their own stories. But instead of making one for Tessa, you had to put in another storyline with different girls altogether, this frustrates and discourages me beyond words. I hope that the developers see this and put in a story for Tessa because Tessa is my favorite choice for both books 1 and 2.

The Micro-Transaction Problem.

I want to declare this right here. As far as the first story I picked, I’m enjoying my time. My only problem is how the rubies system is killing any of that enjoyment and want to continue. My choice’s are lock behind a pay wall and each decision is costly, making the starter packs worthless as you waste them quick. If they decrease the cost of rubies for a choice, it wouldn’t be a problem but that’s a denial because I shouldn’t be wasting money like this and should buy a properly complete visual novel. The next part is having a ticket system that limits your reading, which I haven’t checked but wouldn’t be a surprise to see them charge you for that too.

Why not go by subscription service instead? Allowing readers to play more instead of this predatory method to getting more out your customers. It’s basically triple dipping on everyone with the other method of doing things to earn gold. This is why mobile is mocked as an unequal place to gaming and until improvements, it’s just that.

Love the art style of the recent title

I loved the art style of the recent title that was added Madam President: She’s my boss. I don’t know why but I was able to see the difference between it and other titles, whether is it because you guys try different art styles or something else I will say that whoever designed the style the characters were design did a good job. You won’t be able to move it

I mistakenly set this up on a secondary Apple ID and then tried to get my account moved to my primary Apple ID; but multiple emails, the most recent of which was sent in April 2023, have gone unanswered. Based on this lack of response to multiple emails, I attempted to reach out to them through social media as well; but that also went unanswered. My sincere recommendation is do not ever buy anything through the app unless you will never need to move it to a different account. The automated process doesn’t work and the vendor doesn’t reliably respond to help requests. I’ll be removing the app because the frustration has exceeded the amusement it once offered and there’s nothing encouraging any optimism of a likely remedy.

The stories on here are amazing. When I go to work I have something that captured my attention. Helps me get through the day fairly quickly, if not quickly at-least pass time by without boredom. The major problem with this thing tho is the points system and getting your rubies. I mean paying 4 dollars or 5 just to get wat 40 rubies and not have enough for the next premium choice and then having to buy em again and again through the entire chapter specially wen they pop up like 2 or 3 a chapter. That’s extremely ridiculous. I agree with a comment earlier. Just charge us for the book instead and we choice what choice we want. I would’ve prefer a style like when I bought this game called Sakura Succubus. I got all 7 editions and they cost me what 9.99$ each and were amazing. They don’t have to stomp there values down to 9.99$ for each story. 19.99$ would even suffice. But this isn’t gonna encouraged anyone to read there books or download there content.

Game style and decision making are good but the gem system is kinda bad, I think that we could watch some ads to get the gems or we could watch ads to choose the decisions that cost gems. Free to play (technically)

Okay so here’s the rub: this game is totally free to play if you are willing to grind 90-120 gems per day with the ad video. You can get enough rubies for a couple of premium choices in about a week. If you stay focused on one story (not like what I did and started multiple different stories) and one “path” then you can get through it in a decent time. Think of it like a weekly manga series. You have to wait a bit for the next chapter but at the end, you’ll be able to replay that path as often as you want.

The stories themselves are very sweet and not hard to get invested in if you’re into this kind of thing (and if you have taken the trouble to look this game up and download it, I’m gonna guess that you are), this would be a five star game in my opinion if the devs either:

1. Made the ad video respawn faster, like make it an hour or two instead of five.

2. Increased the number of rubies you get from the video (at least 50-100 per watch)

3. Give players rubies for completing a chapter / story

But with the system the way it is, I give it four stars because it’s highly dependent on how patient you are. If you’re looking to play through the whole thing in one sitting or within a couple of days while making all the feel-good premium choices, you’re going to have to spend real money, there’s no way around it. If you’re willing to pay that, or grind for rubies the free way, then it’s a worthwhile game.

Review and Suggestion

I’ve played the app for a little while the writing is really good and there are some enjoyable stories. A few complaints I have are that the gem options cost too much sometimes, and some don’t feel very rewarding. Another is that you seldomly get gems in the game. I get you need money to fund the game and I don’t have a problem with. I’d honestly take more adds to get more out of the game. I’d suggest that you at least get one gem for completing a chapter on certain stories.

Fishing for cash

It’s not about making the right choices to progress with the girls, it’s about paying for the right choices. Oh, you wanna help your love interest so her homework? 3 bucks. You wanna help her clean up after she spilled on herself? Another 3. While you can earn gems, it’s about 2 or 3 a week, when most of the choices cost anywhere from 20-30. There are other ways to make money. But needing to pay to play correctly? Paying to have fun or make the right choice? Pretty ridiculous. Should’ve just put some stories as paid, or you can pay to unlock new characters, or add a stats feature that you can pay to enhance faster. Either way, there’s better ways to monetize your app, please fix it so you don’t have to play to get fun gameplay.

Would recommend for a while

This is a good app for whatever reasons you have to get it. But I did realize many of the stories are surprisingly similar in the way they are formatted.

1. There are ALWAYS 3 girls

2. In the end you always chose one

3. (Follow up from 2) if you chose a girl in one story and there is a second story, it’s like they forgot y’all were in a relationship and you chose another girl in the end.

Something I would change is to switch up the story of each (more or less than one girl maybe) and make each storyline unique and not like they are all knockoffs of each other.

Developers, please take all I have said into consideration and not as criticism this is a good app and love the layout. Thank you.

The Ruby System

Before I start, I just want to make it clear that I’ve been enjoying this game on and off for about a month now, and I think it does decent enough in it’s concept. However, my biggest (and really my only) complaint has to be with rubies.

I know, studios have to profit off of their apps somehow, and some previous visual novel-type games I’ve liked have been removed in the past partly due to being free of micro-transactions, so I understand why it’s there. The problem with it, though, is how the only reasonable way to maintain a consistent flow of rubies is to purchase them in the store. While not entirely necessary to read comfortably, I feel it hampers the enjoyment for newer users (speaking as one myself), who have to wait a fairly long time for, what, just enough of them to make one decision?

It doesn’t make much sense to me, personally, so I hope the developers try and make it so people with less money to spare can also get the full experience promised on the download page.

The Stories And Things Are Great And Nothing Major, However There Should Be Like A Reward System Other Than Monthly Achievements & Daily Rewards. Maybe Like 15 Gems After Completing a Chapter? Say You Spend Average 20 Minutes A Chapter, And You Have 1 Ticket But Your Really Interested And Want To Continue, You Have To Wait 2 Hours Just For 1 More Chapter? Mid Tier

A lot of the stories are pretty generic, but I’ve found a few good ones recently. However, I kind of wish I wasn’t referred to as a guy for these games. I know the target demographic is for a male audience, but it feels weird being called “he” when the characters refer to me with my actual name. Another complaint I have is how glitched out the gem system is…one minute you’ll have 30 gems, and the next you’ll have 3…all because the system glitched out. It’s hard enough to earn gems because you only gain 1-2 and have to login every day to get access to more tickets and gems. Heck, even the login system is finicky and needs to be fixed. My last complaint is how expensive the gems cost considering there isn’t much impact on the story when you choose premium options. There may be a kiss scene here or there but ehh….However, great art though, but the characters follow many stereotypical anime archetypes and the designs and names can be generic. Though, the art itself is very clean.

Has potential, but…

Pros:

- Really good art to look at while your read

- Good selection of stories to read

Cons:

- OMG this game is greedy to the point it’s ridiculous.

- Earning points is not worth it since it only rewards you 30 points every 5-6 hours. That seems fine until you realize that token prices for buying Rubies (in-game currency for making better decisions) is basically too high, nor can you only earn tokens via reading a chapter and pressing the icon to let you watch an ad.

- Rubies are freaking broken. Most choices if I had to guess are ranging from in the twenties, which means you’ll be constantly out of rubies or have none at all to even play, so the game is really pushing you to BUY THE PACKS since there is Mk other way to earn them.

A message to the devs:

- Get yourself some ads so you can make this app at the very least for user friendly and not have them be pressured to buy your stupid ruby packs. You basically ruined this app’s potential with the greed/how you monetized it 🙄

Addicting, and too expensive

The app is absolutely amazing and I love the stories. In-app purchases are technically not required, but you earn gems so unreasonably slow that the game is almost impossible to play without paying. 2 hours of content for me was $25.

Despite the content of the app being incredible, it's very manipulative in how it gets your money. Without the correct amount of gems, you're forced to mistreat the object of your affection if you don't either pay money on the spot, or wait days upon days to get enough gems to further the story; and when the story has you hooked, it's very difficult to resist paying. Once it has your heart, it has your wallet. There's never a middle of the road option with premium choices either; either be cruel or pay your hard-earned money.

Two things; either gems should be easier to earn without paying, or premium choices shouldn't be as expensive. It's a shame because the content is so great and highly addictive, I'd be playing as much as I could if it wasn't expensive.

Surveys don’t work

I like the stories, but the way you earn premium choices just doesn’t work. Instead of using advertising, the app lets you complete surveys to earn points to buy rubies. This wouldn’t be an issue except that most of the time the surveys don’t work. Sometimes you get disqualified because you’re not an appropriate candidate (understandable, but annoying). Sometimes you get disqualified before you answer any questions (I suspect that this is a bug). Sometimes you spend 15 minutes answering all the questions, get to the end, and still earn no points (yes, this happened to me)! Some major fixes need to happen to make this app playable.

The stories are cool sometimes ig but outside of that this game has absolute 0 redeeming qualities. There are very few stories that don’t completely bombard you with decisions that require gems, but even when u find ones don’t the most important decisions still require like 30 gems. To be a half decent person, in this game, you need gems and I would have absolutely 0 issue with that… if they actually had alternative ways of getting them besides spending 10s of dollars. Sure they have a login thing that gets u like a max of 6 gems a week. That obviously doesn’t do much, most decisions are bare minimum 21 gems. You can also watch ads to get points every like 7 hours which also isn’t very helpful. I downloaded this game as a joke but in all honesty I’ve felt nothing but pure anger throughout this entire play through due to the terribly unpolished gem system 💀. I had 20 gems literally 2 seconds ago, I close the app, open it back up and now boom I have 4 😭. You can barely play through the game without getting a ruby choice

This game is great but the fact the best choice always cost Rubys you can barely get them you should be able to get them by watching ads of a unlimited number you make the game barely playable if it’s a game about making our own choices then why do you restrict our choices with we have to spend our real life money or just grinding hours of daily missions maybe even days or months like come on you’re just trying to be a pay to win game almost literally at least have a system where you can watch how many and you want and you at least get five rubies in return for each ad you watch you’ll make more money than what you do being paid a win

overall good game but…

Not bad

I like the story line, but something has to happen with the way you can get gems. You only get like one a day or something like that, so you don’t really have much of a choice on what you do in the game. I was at a part where I was playing the Sweet Bully or something and I wasn’t able to get the premium answer cause it cost one more than how many gems I had. Worst thing is, every premium answer is like always more than what you have after the first two premium answers. The story is ok, you just can’t do whatever you want.

Good Game, Just One Thing...

This is a VERY good game. The only tho that I don’t really like is that you have to use the rubies to answer the option that you want if it needs rubies, and to get that amount of rubies, you need to wait like, one month. Also, I’m kind of disappointed because it only uses he/him pronouns and I’m prefer different so maybe add a setting like, at the beginning of a story when you choose your name, also choose your pronouns. Other than that, the art quality is WOW 🤩🤩 and the storylines are VERY interesting. Also, maybe add some male characters into your game, I guarantee that it will attract more players. Also, why the rubies gotta cost so much 🤔?Just sayin’.

Glitching with the points and tickets?

Just started playing yesterday and noticed there seems to be some kind of glitch going on with the points and tickets. When I went to sleep I had 90 of those coin point things. This morning I saw I have 30, and I know I didn't spend any in my sleep. The timer for tickets also seems glitchy. I had a few minutes left to earn a new one and suddenly The counter says 2+ hours without having gotten one.

Also, the daily reward to spend 4 tickets reading chapters refuses to actually reach 4. It said I've done 3/4 when I went to sleep. I read a chapter this morning and it now says 2/4.

So far the stories I've done are kind of fun. It would be nice if the experience wasn't ruined by a crappy programming glitch with tickets and rewards.

Games mid tbh.

I’m not really a harsh critic when it comes to these things, but I’ll state my opinion anyways.

(No you didn’t ask, I don’t care regardless)

GOOD PART:

The game has a good storyline for some of the topics posted, you get to see alot of twists and turns and they always leave you on a good hook. I live for literature and romance, this simulator has multiple varieties to choose from and I personally find it better than other games in contrast to those in the App Store. However.

BAD PART:

The game offers this thing called Premium choices, where if you spend around 20-25 gems on it you have a different event, normally meant to please and intrigue the user (you know what I mean), however the game starts you off with something around 64 with only being able to use it 2 times rather than 3 due to a shortage. You can gain these back by either completing quests that might take a week or two or paying for it, which is quite costly to say the least. And the average time you need to wait to unlock another part of a story is 2 hours. I’d rather see crappy ads to shorten the time than wait.

It’s good and bad within its own aspects, so I gave it 3 stars, devs if you’re reading please take this into consideration with other things stated by users in the reviews too. Thanks.

Great app ruined by huge paywall

The app has awesome art and many stories of all types. It’s biggest downfall is the rubies paywall. If you don’t have rubies you don’t have a choice in the prompts where using rubies is available. If you don’t use them you have to choose a bad choice. It’s almost like a guilt trip to try and make you buy rubies. Example: I just got to a choice where this guy threatens a girl in your club. You can spend rubies to protect her or the free choice is to do nothing. I have no rubies so I closed the game and will probably uninstall. You can get free rubies by taking surveys. But 90% of the surveys disqualify you because of your survey answers and the ones that don’t take way longer than stated and have minimal reward. You’d have to do a several hours of surveys to get enough rubies to complete a chapter. Until they change the system it’s not worth your time. And from the looks of other reviews it hasn’t changed in over a year so it probably won’t change or get better.

A really great game, although

I really like this app. It has great stories and even makes me simp sometimes lol but the only problem with this game is the way you earn currency. I really wish there was a way to earn rubies. I have to make choice that I don’t like to make but I have to make those choice because I don’t have any rubies. I wish the developers add some way to earn more rubies without spending any money. This is the only problem with the game otherwise it’s a really good game. My favorite story is After school girlfriend. And I absolute love the character Kyoka from this story.

We need more rubies, but keep the same/lower the required

It’s a good app with some neat stories. But, like a lot of others my real issue that takes the enjoyment away is when you have to act like a jerk cause you don’t have anymore rubies to pick the premium choice and now you have one choice you have to pick to continue the story. It would be really nice if a way to get more rubies and reduce the rubies needed was added. I understand that the devs can’t just make everything free but it seems ridiculous on the amount of rubies needed and given. I also have a slight problem with the amount of tickets given and how much time it takes to get more, but it’s just mostly the rubies which tie to the premium choices.

Premium Choices and others!

Honestly, this is a good game but I feel like the premium choices are a bit tedious I’m not saying I hate the idea but I feel like the best way of just getting them instead of the daily rewards are just purchasing them. It kinda bums me out the fact that I want to choose a premium choice but I’m always low on gems and the fact that it’s kinda hard to get them without having to make a purchase, i mean I can just watch ads for coins to purchase gems and tickets but I really don’t feel like sitting and just watching a few ads to get 100 or higher coins just to buy gems. Like I’m trying to say the game is really fun and I really enjoy it I just think maybe their should be a better or easier way to get them, that’s just my opinion though.

Ruby system

The story, art, and quality are all 5 star however as everyone has said the Ruby system is over the top which just ruins the experience. They are even give so little rubies through their events. The daily quests give tickets which is nice but would be better if it was couple of gems.

I understand gems are for their way of making money but the pricing on gems are way too high. Ways they could fix it is either by getting rid of their cooldown on getting gold points through video or actually making buying gems worth it. Very little people are willing to pay $3 for one special chapter. If $1 got me 8 special chapters I would say that is worth it since $2 per story seems worth buying and they still make money.

I doubt they'll ever change it but it just strikes me weird that they shot themselves in the foot when everything else about the app is pretty good.

The only things I hope change.

To preface, I have read EVERY story(guess I’m the real loser here) and for the most part I’d say that this app does what it wants to and does it well enough that I do not have many complaints.

The only complaints I DO have are ones that I truly hope that the developers listen to, as I at least think I have some ground to speak up as I’ve put in the effort of reading every story that is on this application. UI, art, ability to gain currency through ads and all that stuff is great. No issues there.

The major issue I have is with some of the stories and the choices they force you to make are quite often bad. If you are not willing to spend gems the choice you are left with will quite often make you feel like garbage. One example is that you let one of the girl’s father die and force her to deal with it. Pretty scummy. Makes me feel like the devs are fishing for money. Changing them to a less polarizing outcome would feel much better. The only other thing is that I don’t think that final chapters of stories should have a premium choice. Other than that, it’s a great app, one that is unique and I quite rather enjoy :)

Great but has a flaw

First let me say this, this app is great it has tons of anime dating sims for just about anything and they are very well designed the problem i have are with the gems you have to buy gems in order to have a good or dating like relationship bc you have to buy your choice of words which makes the experience worse so if you wanted to for example say a choice that would further your relationship with that character you would have to spend gems to choose that or pick the other option which about 50% of the time sounds hurtful so its basically spend money on the app or dont date anyone now they do give you enough gems to make 2 cost choices but thats all together not just 2 for each game and its not just this anime dating app that does it most others do to which makes it a cost thing to live out our fantasy’s which brings us back to the real world every time we see a pay 20 gems for this choice and that is absurd

Surveys.

I like the game. I was wondering how to get rubies to actually be able to play it the way I want and I found out about the surveys. At first, none of the surveys worked. They all asked me for a ton of information and then just screened me out. Eventually I started to find a few that work. But only for a few days.

Now, it’s getting ridiculous. I spent almost an hour on what should’ve been a 20 minute survey, jUsT for it to say, "screened out, no catnip for you". I wasted an hour out of my day for nothing.

Yesterday I took (and) finished a survey sEvEn TiMeS... It kept saying I needed to "take more focus/attention on the questions" I assumed I was going too fast so I purposely got sluggish, even let it sit on the survey without clicking anything for over 7 minutes (which was the estimated time for the survey) and what do you know, still made me re-take it...6 more times.

I’d just like to actually be able get on this game and play without constantly having to do surveys just for them to not reward me. I know this is kinda pathetic of me, but can just one thing in life be simple? Maybe if the surveys didn’t frustrate me so much, I’d give this game a 5 star review.

Pretty good

Alright the stories are addicting, and the game itself is really good, and honestly if these stories were anime I would binge watch almost all of the stories, but, like many other people said in the reviews, the gems and tickets are kinda annoying, I get that the game needs to make money somehow, so why not resort to ads? I wouldn't mind ads as long as they don't appear every 5 seconds, maybe have an ad after completing a chapter? Also, I don’t know if this is a bug or i’m supposed to do something, but when I complete surveys, I don’t earn any points, it says I have them on the site, but when I click off and try to buy something, it says Not enough points, so please fix this or tell me how to get them, anyways this game is pretty good, hence the gems and tickets.

Fun Otome Game with tons of cute girls!

There's a wide variety of stories from many different genres and themes. They took every trope we see in anime and turned em into a story. There's anything from yanderes to cat girls to even isekai!

I only have one complaint so far, one being the gem system, I feel like there's way too many chapters that include special options. I don't mind paying for gems but I wish they could either make the special options less frequent or less costly or at the very least gives us more gems through purchasing.

My only suggestion is to please add the option to play as a girl! As a lesbian myself, I don't really like playing as a male main character and I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to incorporate it into the game. Please let me live out my yuri fantasies game devs! xD

Good, but....

This game has a lot of potential and is very fun to play, but..... Most of that is blocked by having barely any ways of getting gems. You could make a daily login system to reward players with gems so that players can pick more choices instead of just picking the free options. Gems are hard to get and take time which is way not that many people like the game because they want the choices now instead of later.

Earning points is annoying!

Every time I try to “earn points” by taking a survey they NEVER work! It’s extremely annoying and a waste of time. I like the game but it’s annoying that EVERY good choice you want to make costs diamonds and those require points to get. If you’re going to make the diamond choices worth so much then you guys NEED to establish an in-game way to acquire the points necessary for diamonds. Don’t make us struggle to find a survey that actually works, which one in 20 surveys you’ll do, for some coins. YOU guys need to have an update so that players can regularly earn coins somehow rather than going to some website to do sketchy surveys. WE NEED THIS DONE ASAP!

Could improve

I plan to redownload the game in a couple months. I really do love the idea of the game, but the only thing they need to fix are some of the characters, when they blink/close their eyes it looks creepy, and it makes the characters look like they don’t seem to have eyes, so far I only saw 1 story where 1 character was glitched.

To find the ads I would start a story, then click the 3 dots inside a circle button top left of the screen and then their should be a 3 options to the left, the rest I think y’all can figure it out. Next after watching 2 ads go to the shop then click on the gold coin thing to exchange the 2 ads/60 points or 60 gold coins to 5 gems. (I use an iPhone for this app)

Kinda Good???

This is a great game don’t get me wrong in that, but having to either spend real money or doing challenges that can take a week or more just to get a couple gems? Really? Even though the “premium choices” don’t affect your story in the end it still bugs me that they cost so much to select. Did the math it takes about $2.30 for every premium choice if you don’t spend weeks stacking up challenges. The daily challenges only give you about 1-3 gems??? And you have to read four chapters to finish it. Another reason for my rating is the refill on the tickets are so slow it takes two and a half hours for one ticket... Really? At least make the max amount of tickets bigger or decrease the time it takes to refill them. Also make the gems easier to get because I don’t want to have to spend actual money on a story app that only makes you pick a couple choices. Then just sit and watch. I hope the devs see this and make some improvements or at least make the gems easier to obtain. I don’t want to have to spend 3-4 days reading stories just to get 15 gems?! Make the challenges a bit easier to complete and up the gem amount when you receive the rewards because most stories ask for about 15-26 gems per premium choice and there’s about 1-3 premium choices per chapter. Hope u read this devs!!!

A good game but with some minor issues

This game is very good, but like many people have said with this game, the problem is that the crystals are used to make “special” choices, and the crystals are currency that you can buy, or achieve by doing a long task which it would give a small amount to a big amount depending on which task and how much is needed to be done.

So in conclusion the crystal currency is the problem, I mean like yea the company who made the game needs money for the game but there are alternatives to get money from gamer consumers. And so if the solution is changed and is better, surely more players will come play this game.

Also I noticed the price of the crystal for each decision increases or are in different price range for different stories which shouldn’t really be a thing since the stories are all good in their own way, and if the price increases because of the usage the player then it’s just a paid to win type of game which is a bad thing.

App is amazing, the pay to proceed.. not so much.

The app in itself is amazing. The stories and plot are incredibly done and entertaining, which is surprising for a free app. However like everything there is a twist. In exchange for being free, they’ve implemented a rubies system. You start off with maybe 40-50 rubies, and for each storyline there’s an option for you to spend 22-25 of those rubies on a decision that impacts the overall story. The only way to get more rubies is to pay money or login a consecutive amount of times to get a meager 1-3 rubies, at most 15. This is just ridiculous and ruins the overall experience, as the options given are obviously catered to get the user to spend money on purpose. For example, there’s a scenario where you have to protect your friend from a group of thugs, one of the options is to protect her, which costs 25 rubies, and another is to leave her, which is free. This is obviously strategically done to get people to pay more money for more rubies in order to get that alternate option.

I would have no problems if they changed it to an AD system where we had to watch ads, or a cool down system where we get rubies after an allotted amount of time, similar to their ticket system. But the rubies is just over the top and inexcusable.

The surveys don’t work half the time and if they do work you can only get halfway through it before it either says You are not what we were looking for or the screen just times out please someone fix this in the next update it’s frustrating to go through so much time to do a survey and not get anything in return and I have good Internet so it’s not the Internet honestly I don’t know if the surveys are even worth it if they just keep Crashing I think that’s what it’s called

Not enough gems

To start, I do have to say that the artwork and stories that I’ve read are amazing. The plots are well thought out and engaging and the characters are likable. However, that being said, the gem costs are extortionate. A single story has about three premium choices per chapter, about fifteen chapters per story, and each choice costs around thirty gems. Since you can’t earn any aside from surveys, and even they are hit or miss as to eligibility and functionality, that means that the cost comes out of pocket. 30 times 3 times 15 is 1,350 gems. The best deal to get gems in those quantities is $100 for 1500. And that’s only one story. Since there are about three love interests per story, you could just be a jerk two thirds of the time and be able to make the premium choices for just one girl at the $40 level. Needless to say, this is ridiculous. I would almost rather have a system that unlocked all choices for an individual game or a subscription system. Yes, you might make less in the short term, but I bet more players would stick around in the long term, as well as rate the game higher.

I love the stories but the point system is ridiculous

I find most of the stories on this app incredibly interesting and love reading them, but the point system in the app is terrible. There is an extremely large amount of choices in the stories that are bought with rubies, which can be either bought with real money or with points earned by taking surveys. On the surface, the point system looks amazing, tons of surveys that can offer up to 400 points at time, and with a 12-1 conversion rate for rubies, the system seems almost too good to be true (which it is!) 95% of the surveys disqualify you randomly and or do not load, and I’ve found myself countless times spending over an hour trying to complete surveys and failing to do so and sitting there with no points and stories I want to read but can’t get the choices I want because of it. I wish the system would be reworked as I truthfully have enjoyed all of the stories I have read on Anibabe! So far, but wish that I wouldn’t have to spend so much money buying rubies as I am a broke college student ;-;

Getting gems or points

I’ve seen other stories app weather it’s anime or real life or methodology that every story or episode that a player read gave them a gem or a token and maybe 5 tokens when completed but in your case It isn’t I have to do surveys or buy gems in your storyline app even if I complete a survey for 90 points but when I want to exchange them to gems it cost about 32 points just for a single gem unless I did another survey but please put the gems more better like 3 gems per 32 points or something like that anyways most surveys kept saying your late or sorry it doesn’t work for some reason anyways I get no points for doing it until it says that but can u at least give us at least 15 points per survey for trying to do a survey before it says sorry

Game review

I like it how you have all stories available and the ticket system. But I do have a few things. 1. I like how in the newest story you relate a movie they watch to the plot of another one of your stories. 2. Lose the gem system. We can have a little longer on recharge for tickets but so it’s at least a little more realistic. We are human, and having to pay valuable resources for a choice that is unimportant to the main stories and only last a few seconds of something nice. Otherwise it’s a good game

The stories are great! However.

If you want to make logical choices in the game you have to use a system called rubies which I understand that’s how they’re probably getting their money but it’s a little too much. If you buy a $5 pack of rubies you only get like three choices to make out of the whole game and keep in mind in this game you get to make a lot of choices but the thing holding you back is rubies. Example: A girl you like leans in for a kiss, you have these options A: You Lean in for a kiss (by paying with rubies) B: You pull away. The only good options are with the system which if you’re gonna keep it in the game at least make it reasonably easy to get and not overpriced too. The stories are really good but it would be better if I can make the best choices without spending money or at least spend a little amount for a good amount of rubies.

It was great and it still is but the ruby system I think all the stories and characters are outstanding for mobile but that tiny system really breaks the game and I know you have to make money and they are not forcing us to use our rubies but it does force us to us money and most likely forced to choose something you didn’t want to to fix this make the daily give you more rubies and the tokens make it like 6 tokens for 1 ruby that seems good and the options given to you should be cheaper like 15 to 17 rubies and the lowest should be around 12 yeah I think that is pretty reasonable

Great concept, but not free

I've tried a few chapters of two different stories so far, and they're quite entertaining, but the problem is that to make choices that actually matter in the long run, such as choices to end with the girl you want, you have to pay a certain amount of rubies per each choice.

This wouldn't be bad if there was a free way that actually works to earn rubies, but at the moment, the free surveys to earn rubies aren't worth it because they're long, and the payout is low. Not to mention that each choice takes a considerable amount of rubies.

It would be better if we used rubies to unlock more stories, instead of forcing us to buy them in order to make the good choices. As of the moment, I do not recommend downloading this game unless you're ready to spend money for rubies.

I understand you need to make a profit but I don’t like how we need to pay so much for diamonds. Maybe you could make us watch ads for the rubies. I would gladly watch 10 ads for 10 rubies. I don’t really have a lot of money and the other choices that are free seem so cruel. For example to kick the sisters and call them animals. I know it’s a game but it’s cruel rip. If you make us watch ads or decrease the timer for rubies I would greatly appreciate and share it with other people. Everything’s great, just a little steep.

The art, storyboarding, etc. are quite good. I had someone I love pass away pretty recently, so I’ve still been going with the steep pricing and have spent far more than I’m willing to admit on this... But that being said, the pricing is so steep that that’s my only excuse. I can’t foresee myself continuing to use this beyond my recovery phase if the prices are as brutal as they are. In the end that’s developers choice and poison? I just thought I’d leave some feedback. The game really gives me good feels and I need them for now. Overall a good experience.

A solution, maybe?

Would be a subscription service. I don’t know if that’s complicated to work out.. but something like 20 dollars a month for choices? And leave a payment system in place for extra tickets; for people who feel like they can’t get enough? Food for thought. I can confidently say I’d be willing to pay that for the ability to read even just 3 chapters a day unhindered. 30 coins every 5 hours is insufficient to do remotely anything with anyways.

Couple of Problems & Bugs

Overall, I think it’s a good app/game. Great art styles, engaging enough storytelling, and just overall fun. But, as some people have already commented, the rubies system is a bit over the top. I understand the need for exclusive content (since the rubies choices don’t affect the story you play through), and the app has to make money some sort of way (although free apps receive some money, albeit pennies, per each download), but it’s just too much. Sure, they give you some opportunities to earn free rubies through points, but there too little in between. It’s already tough having a 2-3 ticket maximum and tickets taking multiple hours to reset, but the high price of premium choices and the exclusivity of earning rubies stack up too. At the very least, give us a “prize” for completing each story, 10-20 rubies or just 3 tickets (plus, allow us to have more than 3 in a storage or something. I had 2/3 and finished the daily mission, only to receive 2 tickets, but since that would go over the limit, I only got 1. It didn’t even show me what the prize was gonna be until I opened it).

The only bugs I found was that the backlog would be completely blank sometimes, plus in the Mafia story, one of the girls (I think the rival Mafia girl) would literally have no eyes (like a slug) whenever she would blink, and hold that blink for an entire line of dialogue, it’s horrifying to see.

5 star material, except...

I love this game very much. I really do. I agree with many people on here saying that this would be one of the best visual novel storytelling games on mobile. But the fact that you have to pay for choices that progress the story seems extremely expensive. The way to get the rubies are tedious and normally not worth the time taken to get them for free. Like another person has said on here, I realize that they’re trying to make profit off of this free mobile game, but a good game doesn’t make up for the overpricing. Think EA games. Once again, very good game, but there has to be a better, non-destructive way to make a profit off this game.

Can I please just chose what I want...

The variety of stories look great, gives the readers something to satisfy themselves, but why do I need to pay literally real money just so I can chose an option that doesn’t make me feel guilty about anything. The rubies system is so bad, period. They burn out fast, it takes money just to chose one choice that probably won’t even do much good until you actually pay basically hundreds of dollars just for an ending you want. The devs should know that a simple story’s parts should not be restricted because of finances, it just makes it a rip-off. Where $10 will give a small heartwarming response from the character you grow attached to and it won’t even last long. It’s really nothing but a waste of money where the app would definitely grow if it didn’t just solely rely on its viewers to being restricted to what’s in their wallet.

My Fairy Girlfriend

As a whole I very much enjoy this game, though I do have this one problem, for some reason whenever I play “My Fairy Girlfriend” and I get to the part where you and Makoto go on that date to the soccer memorabilia store and then the soccer game it crashes and shuts my phone off. This has only happened on “My Fairy Girlfriend” and on that particular part. I even restarted the story and had to go through it again to get to that point and it is still crashing and shutting my phone off, I’m at a loss for what to do. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else but if you could possibly take the time to fix it, if you’re able to, I would appreciate it.

Outstanding Game!!

I really like this game, and it has great stories! They do have a reward system, and you can watch videos to earn tokens to trade for either more tickets (energy system), or trade them for gems to make premium choices. If you’re dedicated, you can play stories right when your tickets fill up so you can maximize efficiency. I understand that they’re trying to make money off of gems, but I haven’t spent any money and I used tokens to make premium choices! Premium choices will most likely influence the characters you use them towards, but I believe they won’t have a huge impact on the stories outcome. It is not a game that you want to play for hours on end because you would end up getting bored and forgetting about it. It’s good because the ticket (energy system) keeps you coming back! Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes sims or choose your own adventure games. No complaints from me!

Heartbroken

I understand your trying to get more profit off the game. And I live this game very much, I like everything and I mean that. However what really is the dream killer is the choices you have to pay for, I’m sure not only me, but most users don’t have the money to buy rubies. Maybe the rubies can be used to purchase other stories or maybe even tickets. But I swear on everything and I mean this purely... this would be the best of all story telling games if we did not have to pay for choices.. I hope the creator reads this because I love this game and I want to enjoy it to the fullest, because I’m not rich enough to spend money on rubies... if we do not have to pay for choices anymore I will rate it 5 stars and even promote it on my media and share it with me friends, I desperately want this request to be met... thank you

Such a sad thing to see

This would have been a great dating sim, but they just had to make the main source of revenue through these gems. And what the gems do is make it possible to pick the positive choices in the game. For example let’s say the first girl introduced wants to dance. You could pay 20-something gems or you can “push her away” for free. This is a terrible way to money grab and I understand that you need revenue and I would not have minded seeing advertisements and maybe a fee to get rid of the ads but their solution is just ridiculous. I recommend never installing so that you do not become attached to the characters and start feeling inclined to purchase the gems because if one CHOICE costs 24 gems, and you can buy 250 gems for TWENTY DOLLARS, you can only get 10 choices for $20 and that is just crazy. Also in case you were like me and was wondering if the game has an “energy system” to make it so that you can’t just grind the game in one night and instead wait 3 hours for 1 ticket (you start with 3) then yes. There is exactly that. Over all the app was made very beautifully and the story has been hilarious and very well thought out. I wish I can say the same about the system. Trash. Don’t install.
