Holding my funds hostage!
This app is terrible! I have hundreds of dollars in funds on the card and it continues to decline when I use it. It’s impossible to get human help when you need it. The reply the next day with canned responses. And then I have to go through the very annoying process of being reimbursed for all of the transactions I made on my credit card. It’s a nightmare to say the least!

Benepass has ZERO customer support.
Benepass has ZERO customer support. I submitted two reimbursements they are both account statements. EXACT same format. One was approved. One was rejected. No notes at all. And then it’s like I’m IT: I have to open a ticket for help. No phone number.

Not useful as a app to download and keep
You need an app which can do useful or better things on your phone. Benpass itself may be good but app is not. You can’t even submit receipts when you have it compare to other apps like navia. If you really need to store receipts, just use phone camera and album, app is useless. There is no value addition in this case. It can’t even read amount from receipt

Customer Service
Poor customer service. Doesn’t have a number you have to submit a form and they only communicate via email. They send you forms to fill out then tell you the form is not valid for your issue so sorry about that.

FANTASTIC benefit and great app
I've been a long time Benepass user and it's been amazing! I love having the freedom of deciding how to use the money my company gives me for various reasons (wfh setup, internet/phone bill, and the occasional food allowance). Also, being able to spend money from all my account using one card is SO nice.

Won’t allow me to sign in
Signing in for the first time is like being interrogated for a murder. Keeps giving me “errors” and I can’t access anything or even use my card 😒

Please fix insets for reimbursement form
Transactions get declined for insufficient funds despite evidence to the contrary
The reimbursement form content does not take insets into account. They keyboard is not dismissible and covers required fields as well as the submit button. Mildly annoying

Excellent app for workplace benefits
I have been using this for 2 years and have not had any issues. In fact it works wonderfully. Beginning of each month, I can see the credit allowance and I’m able to use it on quite an array of vendors such as pet food apps, pet care apps, travel, massages. I have quite enjoyed my Benepass

I love this benefit from my employer! The app works well for me, and the card has been accepted at several different stores, restaurants, and online.
Love that you can just submit past expenses for reimbursement through the app as well. Very user-friendly!

Life Savers
I absolutely LOVE that my job offers us Benepass! I have used Benepass for so many life needed experiences i.e; massages, gas, etc. I truly love that it something that has become apart of my daily routine! Benepass is a 10/10 in my eyes!

Latest redesign is more difficult to use
The latest redesign changed the way that very important information is displayed and now to see the account balance you have to go thru extra steps, making the app more difficult to use.
I believe the usability of the BenePass app would be greatly improved by 2 simple changes:
1. When opening the app, the first page to be displayed should be “Accounts” (instead of the current “Home”), showing the balance of the user accounts.
2. The current page “Home” should be renamed to “Transactions” (not sure the reason it is currently named Home since it only contains transactions on it)
That’s it! The current page “Cards” is fine the way it is. I hope the devs can fix it because this redesign really made something simple and practical more difficult to use.

This app went from being super simple, fast, minimal and intuitive to being terrible. Lots of new stuff that do not seem to make any sense and 3 times as many steps to get reimbursed

Do not use this company for regulated benefits like HSAs
In the two years I used Benepass through my employer for HSA administration, it was nothing but chronic errors and problems. Wrong cards. No cards. Unnecessary documentation requirements for providers who are coded as medical. They seem to be unfamiliar with HSA tax law and provided irrelevant, incorrect responses when I had to correct an excess contribution. App is so feature-light as to be mostly useless. For your gym benefit? Sure. Go right ahead. For something critical and tax-regulated like HSA? They seem to have no idea what they’re doing.

Hard to transfer funds from Benepass/Blue Ridge to new HSA
Have had an incredibly and surprisingly difficult time transferring HSA funds out of Benepass (and their holding bank, Blue Ridge) to a new HSA. While Benepass’ customer service is responsive, achieving resolution continues to be elusive.

Cost me a $550 with their “smart card”
They pulled money of my account from my FSA card. When I immediately contacted customer service they were totally unapologetic about and said they where not able to do anything to fix it. I am not sure they realize they are dealing with other peoples money.

App Doesn’t Work
App won’t load properly and only goes to an error page that takes you to a broken zendesk ticketing page. Support has been no help. Deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times with the same results. It’s a shame because the service Benepass provides is amazing when it works.

Such a cool product!
This is by far the best benefit my employer offers. Really nice to have the flexibility to spend fitness money wherever it makes sense for me instead of being locked into one company gym. Card is easy to use and the app is intuitive!

Keeps freezing
When trying to search providers or companies the app freezes and shuts down! I have tried to delete and reinstall but does not help.
