Buggy app

Love this company but the app is one of the worst I deal with. Constantly logging me out and searching is hit or miss. Need an option to stay logged in or use Face ID. Spend time adding favorites so I don’t have to find again. Next time I log in they are gone. Please fix

Love Wild Fork but this app is the worst. The layout doesn’t show the full product names. Doesn’t have my past orders. Doesn’t even let me checkout. Fix it or get rid of it. It doesn’t represent the brand well at all!

Good food, awful app

The app is constantly buggy and cannot perform its basic functions. They should really strip it down and make it more basic so you can at least add things to your cart/favorites successfully, remember carts, remember log in settings (yes i clicked keep me logged in), and most importantly check out!!!

I don’t care for the fancy shmancy windows and excess pop ups and images on the app that are clearly interfering with the app’s intended basic functions.

Love their products, hate their app

This app is such a huge disappointment.

It logs you out and then doesn’t want to log you in. It will remember your basket and then when you try to check out, it will tell you that you need to login, again. It has some sort of problem, checking out if it’s a pick up order, I assume trying to force you to do a delivery, but I see no reason to pay $20 more for shipping plus tip if I live 20 minutes from the store but if I go direct to the store, it’s only then that I find out that some of my selections are not available which makes for a somewhat lost effort on the trip.

I assume WildFork is making some nice money because the stores are popping up everywhere so maybe they should invest some of that money in an app that’s debugged and works 100% which at the end of the day is probably their biggest point of sale.

WildFork just opened in my neighborhood and we are LOVING it. The store is great. Staff is helpful. Food is delicious. Prices are great. Please fix the app so it is easier to shop. I have a small child so it is difficult to browse and find what I need. I really want to order in advance and pickup. It would be a great service if it worked. The time zone is broken. Nothing works on app. I joined membership hoping it would help the app and it just seems worse. I am going to continue shopping at WildFork. The app would just be a great bonus, IF IT EVER WORKS. Great Selection - Low Weight Meat Though

Super easy and quick to get delivered next day (in NYC). I recommend ordering at least several days in advance of when you need it though.

When a brisket is advertised as 12+ lbs and they send you an 8 lb, you’re going to have to order another or source locally. Unless you’re ok with only feeding 2/3 of your guests.

It’s been 6 months and I still haven’t been able to order anything using the app. Last time it just wouldn’t place the other and now you can’t been add stuff to the card. Constantly having errors

It constantly crashes, all kinds of bugs and I always have to go to the web version to order something because the app wont let me, or wont recognize my account. Also, today, you can’t add anything to the cart because everything has the “find similar products” instead of the usual add to cart (I mean it, I took the time and checked, every single item has it). Im deleting the app, definitely love the service but the app is real bad.

This new app is garbage. It’s like there was no testing on the app before releasing. You need to use the website because the app just doesn’t work as it should. Filtering does not work, examples include trying to filter down for beef but no option to filter on beef and even if you select other options it still shows other products that should have been filtered out. Search also does not work. The carts are not connected from website to app which just shows how incomplete this product is. Lots of buttons like reorder previous order do not work. The list goes on and on. Please test your app before making us use it.

Convenient but glitchy app

We love Wild Fork and use the app frequently. The reasons for our frustration with the app are 1. The cart content disappeares often. 2. My order history disappears and makes it hard to reorder items. 3. In order to return home you have to click backwards several times instead of having a home button. Other than that, the app provides a convenient way to shop for meats in the comfort of our home.

Wild Fork has great products and good customer service. The app however never seems to work correctly. Every step from logging in to paying for the purchase is a hassle. I have quit using, deleted the app and now only use the website.

Great service and products, terrible app

Wild fork is a 5 star business with great products but it has a terribly buggy app that deserves only 1 star. I still recommend the service and products highly so I’m splitting the difference by giving it 3 stars.

The app has numerous bugs which are never fixed:

- multiple logins are frequently required to check out

- order history never works and shows no orders

- pages are slow to load

- product navigation is clunky and hard to use

- cart is not cleared after purchasing and must be manually deleted item by item before placing your next order

- large font settings on devices cause cut off of text and buttons on many pages

- buttons are very finicky in the shopping cart and frequently get the quantities wrong

The app is really just a bunch of web pages that are masquerading as a mobile app. It needs a full rewrite.

Cancelled Annual Membership but still being billed

The app and the website do not sync. I cancelled the annual membership on a web browser and it stated it would not renew. However today it renewed via the app without my authorization. I see no way to cancel my membership or remove my payment via the app. I liked Wild Fork, but due to the app I think I’ll be using them less. Now I have to call the number and cancel like it’s 1999.

Terrible update

Can't do anything in the app.

- First said that my location is not serviced. (I have made multiple deliveries here in the past).

- everything sold out (perhaps related to above because web version has stock).

- web version would not let me sign in. Tried resetting password but no email ever came through until 12 hours later.

- Fastforward to today, app updated again, this time my area is serviceable, and has stock, but my cart is full from what I ordered on web, but I cannot remove anything from the cart.

- I had to place an order via web instead.

- Purchase confirmed but not reflecting on the app.

Way too many bugs. Being an engineer myself this is an unacceptable release. How did this get to production?!

Minor Improvements

Some “quality of life” improvements:

1) I’m logged into my account but when I check out I have to log in again.

2) I’ve changed my address in my account but on checkout when I choose Delivery my previous addresses are listed.

3) Can you support Apple Pay, or at the very least auto fill payment. Use precious card feature.

4) Recipe pages are awesome, but when I tap on the ingredients to add to basket. It just doesn’t add, nothing happens. It should say if an item is or isn’t available.

Signed up for monthly membership to get free deliveries. Have seen Wild Fork and we wanted to give it a try. Was excited about being able to get meat delivered for the meat eaters in the house. Order time selected. Then I get a text saying order was canceled. No explanation and no phone call. Ahh I see. The tracking link takes me to doordash. NO THANKS. Not a fan of door dash. Unfortunate. Probably won’t be getting products from there. Don’t offer something if you can’t deliver… literally.

We love wild fork, but wish the app worked better. The app crashes all the time, even when updated. Recently it crashed whenever we attempted checkout. We noticed and update … we updated … now it opens and immediately crashes.

After adding things to the cart and having it crash, we think, “let’s go to website and login and finish the transaction.” Nope! Cart is empty.

Again, great food. Just have to make sure we do everything from the website versus this app.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Wild Fork.

But the latest App update had things completely broken.

I’m tried to order food for delivery. When I click checkout from the cart, the app crashes (if there is one thing you should test, it’s that)

I hunted around the app for a problem, then found that there were 3 locations added under my addresses. I only ever put 2, and two of the three were just full of null values. I cleared out the locations and tried to add a new address. That causes the app to display a gray screen that never goes away.

I love Wild Fork. The app is garbage.

WF has some outstanding products that cost noticably less than what you pay for similar products in the grocery store. Just remember that they put all of this in one big box and the pacaging doesn't always hold up. I'd avoid the ground beef. The pork tenderloins are freakin' amazing though!

Convenient to be able to quickly get the products you want without having to log into the web version every time. Incredibly frustrating when the app crashes and doesn’t save anything in the cart. Wastes about 20 minutes of searching and adding, which is not a lot to some, but makes me want to put off buying or not buying when it happens. Did not make good on membership offer

I’m happy with what I received, it came well frozen and well packed to using dry ice. However they didn’t fulfill the whole order so the total came under the threshold for the free membership they were promoting and it’s impossible to reach customer service to fix it, very disappointing service.

Application decreased in quality!

This review does not concern WildFork products or prices, just the app. This app was great for a while but recently it has stopped working. I used to use the reorder option all the time, now it doesn’t show any of my prior orders. Secondly, when I try to set up an order for pick up it doesn’t have the option to let me pick the store. So now I need to go through the website and recreate my cart to order. Love WildFork products and prices though!

Non-stop Issues

I’ve used the app for about a year now and the same problems exist. First, if you start an order on your computer and then need to add something on your phone app, the two do not sync. Second, the app takes forever to load when you are looking for something. Finally and the most frustrating, is you spend time building a cart and then when you go back to place an order the cart is empty. I love WildFork’s products, prices and incredible selection, which makes the app problem that much more disappointing.

Simple app but here are suggestions

Not sure if a bug, but when I’m logged in, my previous orders and favorites do not show up. Going to the website, I can see them clear as day. Also, please rework how you display the “wild fork unlimited” throughout the app. It gets confusing when I get wild fork unlimited but when i go to check out, the app asks me to get “wild fork unlimited”.

Otherwise, the app is clean and easy to use. Food is also delish. Great app, just fine tune it.

It’s ok

The app is sort of convenient. It should open with facial recognition or fingerprint. Logging in with password and ID is a bit last decade. Also, it should have the option of holding the credit card info but just fill in the CVV.
