Frustrating user experience
This app is simply not useful, especially for updating weekly timesheets or sending PTO updates.
One could forgive the slow server times IF it was easier to submit timesheet entries but it’s not.
To the teams building this app, please have your product manager use other time tracking apps (Harvest or Freshbooks) & hire a designer.

Contract management lacking
We’re relatively new to NetSuite, and have been struggling with the expectations vs reality issues the platform presents. One of those struggles is with the CRM portion. Our previous CRM offered an app that allowed us to synchronize our phone connections, organize, and enhance them.
This app does not ask for those permissions nor does it seem to be aware that doing this could even be an option. The interface is kindly defined as “clunky” and other than being on my phone, doesn’t provide much advantage to sitting at a keyboard. For example, while you can take a photo of a receipt, you cannot take a photo of a business card and have it pre populate out key details for contacts. You cannot import a contact into Netsuite, or export from Netsuite to your phone.

Yet another thing broken with an update
It’s like these developers try to break something when they go to fix something else. IOS 18 compatibility comes with a broken password update subroutine. Now if you have the latest iOS you have to update your expiring password online because the app can’t do it now. Ugh! I can’t wait until my company goes to some other solution for expense reports.

App is Useless
I downloaded the app for the iPad and upon first load it presents with a EULA screen. The "Accept" button does nothing. So basically you cannot get past the EULA screen. I deleted the app and re-added and same issue. The iPhone app works fine. The support link here in the App Store just goes to a general FAQ page on the NetSuite site so that is a dead end as well.

Expenses Not Clearing with new update
The expense log is working the way it should, but in the old version, the expenses would clear when they were put on an expense report.
Now the list just grows and grows, and you can not tell what you have reported or not.
Right now it is only 3 months on my log….but bits getting cumbersome already.
In a few months, it will be worthless to try to manage it.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Can’t email
For a mobile app I cannot for the life of me find any way to simply email a quote or a sales order from the app. This is crucial for any salesman that is always out on the road. Something so simple to add.
When creating a quote when adding an item; you also have no search function. I have to scroll through 12,000 part numbers just to add to a quote!! Why isn’t there a search function?? Makes no sense.

Embarrassingly bad
I am trying use the expense reporting function. It is a joke. I submitted 6 reports and 2 of them magically disappeared upon submission. Gone! The receipts taken within the app don’t save to phone but to the report. No record of receipts.
It looks and feels like it was developed in 1989. It fails to function. Reports disappear upon submission.

Very Weak Dashboard & Reporting
You want to check-up on your business using the Apple App? Good luck, no access to financial reports and almost all Dashboards you can access in the UI. Only supports a few KPI Trend graphs and Saved Searches. Really, users expect this App to support everything you can report on in the UI.

Does everything I need
Contrary to the lesser reviews of the app, I’ve found the NetSuite mobile app to be incredibly easy to use. Having had experience with the Salesforce mobile app in the past, this is worlds better.

This app has limited functionality. The menus are different than what you will be used to on a normal desktop. Like many other things done by Netsuite…you will more than likely need to put an enhancement request in that will never go anywhere. For half a million a year…you still get nickel and dime to death.

Not designed for mobile
Recently added NetSuite to our company and like everything they produce this app is extremely cumbersome, clunky and does nothing well. NetSuite is advertised as a whole business solution. It is not. Please focus on the CRM side of this system and make it sales orientated on the mobile app. This is the worst CRM experience on a mobile phone.

I really appreciate the ability to get a quick glance at my KPI‘s, and create tasks and make edits to transactions when needed.
For some reason I can’t Save changes to Cases which is frustrating. Otherwise 5 stars.

I thought I can organize calls and come to find out that more than half of the things don’t work. I finally had enough and deleted the app. My company should have never signed up for net suite because sale force is much better.

Cant submit time for an entire week
On the website, you can submit an entire week. With the app, there is only an option to submit time for that day. Please update the app so that time entries can be submitted daily, or weekly basis.

Camera for expenses is broken since the last update
The photo preview doesn’t match the actual photo after taking a picture for an expense report. For example, I receive a receipt in my email and decide to take a picture of my screen to quickly capture the receipt. I take the photo to make sure it’s in focus, after confirming the photo if I go back and look at it the photo is completely out of focus. Didn’t happen until I updated my iOS and updated the app. I’m wondering if it has to do with the “live” photos feature? Whatever it is needs to be fixed. Thanks.

This app is useless. Cannot pull any of the 3-sheet financials. Even the vendor view stinks and is slow as molasses.

Could use some work
There is no way to get the numbers from your reminders to show without clicking on them, I tried turning the screen and I see the fist number and dots, it that 300 or 3,000. I was truly hoping to at least get those snapshots. I was also hoping to be able to have a couple save search results visible on the home screen.

And I thought the website was confusing
While my company has only recently swapped over to netsuite (7+ months ago) its been quite the process learning the way around the web based version of the program. I decided to give the app a try thinking it may be easier than the web based and unfortunately it is the exact opposite. The app makes web based seem like a children’s storybook.
I’ve learned to navigate the app from entering in a new client to saving and fulfilling orders and even adding payments from the external pin pad to clients accounts. The one thing that just doesn’t make sense to me is the fact that you CANT PRINT FROM THE APP. I can totally appreciate the idea of the app being the non paper/convenient way of keeping an eye on things. Using the app would be my preferred method of use on most days when I just need to add a payment or fulfill an order real quick. Not being able to print is a game changer though.
App is totally different lay out than the web based version. Once you figure out the app it’s not too bad I guess but it’s so different than the web based that it’s like learning an entirely new system.
I’ll keep the app for future use of looking things up. But even though it won’t be the first choice when it comes to accessing any information I need.
Add a print button please. Or tell me what I’m missing and where to find the print button if it already exists and I’m simply missing it.

Terrible app
For such an outrageously expensive ERP, it’s surprisingly bad. Much of the CRM and transactional records are not fully functional and lead to dead ends without even redirecting to the browser for web access.
It’s actually almost unusable unless the User is interested in finding a customer telephone number or approving an expense report.
It’s that bad.

Save your company!! Don’t use this app!!!
The company I work for brought this in to our existing busy work life to help us streamline out time cards and help us with better time management. The app is clunky there is no way to forward time for the next day without reentering all the stupid information again. Currently the app won’t let me edit anything so I have to delete the entry and start over to fix one thing. All in all our paper time cards were easier quicker and caused less stress. Don’t get this app unless you want to wast time and money!!

The only useful function is now broken.
I can no longer use this app for literally the only thing it was good for, entering employee expenses from my phone (taking photos of receipts on the go was a gift). I can get over how cumbersome it is, but not being physically incapable of filling in expenses in an expense report. Please QA your app, because I don’t have time to do it for you. I’m sure you will discover the flaws if you are more thorough. Off to import my photos from my phone to my laptop to upload them to each row in my expense report again. Thanks.

Constant issues
This app is constantly shutting down and doesn’t provide any recourse for employees facing app issues. For example, a password change was required, and after changing my password, the app will not let me log in-this is after deleting and re-installing, checking for updates, and being able to log in online. Would not recommend to anyone.

Able to work on the road
I love that I am able to log my activity while I’m on the road. I am able to look up my important contacts to either call or email with a couple touches. If I need more functionality I just log in through Safari.
