Some Issues

I bought the new ultra X device in May and it already doesn’t work. A new device is being shipped. When I connect the device everything is fine until I choose the clear ear option… the camera light goes out and stops working, all I can see is a black screen. The tongue and nose option works and uses the camera to my phone instead of the Bebird devices camera.
Also I live in a very rural area so not being able to connect to your WiFi to use the device is terrible. You’re not able to connect and chat with a live agent if you don’t have reliable cell phone reception.
It seems like the last app update may have caused issues and limiting the device connection to a local device connection only is pretty restrictive. It also prevents calls and texts from coming through when you rely on WiFi calling/texting abilities — for the people who don’t have a house phone…..

I paid a lot of money for this product only to have to throw it away. It doesn’t connect, when it does the light and camera won’t turn on. It worked perfectly until the big app redesign. Now the light flickers when trying to connect. Battery is fully charged to btw.

Dim light or turns off

I have the D39R. I have bought 3 of them. 1 of them the light is dim and no matter what I do, it doesn’t get brighter. The other 2 the light turns off or the screen on the app is completely black and I can’t see anything. I’ve tried everything that I possible can. And nothing works.

I think this is a great product! The image quality was amazing and I didn’t expect to be able to see as much as I did. I will say I like how you could use it to hopefully find any problems early esp for the people who avoid the doctors. I think the product should come with images of when to not use and seek a Doctor and a better information and instruction guide. I honestly stressed out pretty bad once I used and would have been nice to see what’s normal etc so I recommend doing research before using and talking to a Doctor!! I will highly recommend esp for people who avoid or are too busy to go to the Doctors. Product seems like in decent quality and it was not that uncomfortable. Product comes with different heads to switch out, and the app is easy to use with the ability to take photos and videos of your experience with the Bbird device. 1-10 with 10 being the best I honestly would give it a 9 and only reason not a 10 is my safety concerns of using the product and the app should give videos hopefully made from a Doctor of how to use, instructions, and what to look for and what you’re looking at..

Maybe the app has issues but the device works great! You just have to know how to connect it. Sometimes it’s confusing but once you figure it out it’s easy. The device is super easy to use. I would recommend only using it on your self and not others.

Here to leave my honest review

When I was setting up the app I was surprised to see such a low rating. Obviously that made me a little scared to use it in my ears. But I have this problem where my ear wax has just been building up to atrocious levels and I desperately needed some relief so I tried it anyways.
Here’s my honest and unbiased review: it’s pretty good. I’m not sure where all the errors are coming in from other people- as soon as I opened the app it requested to search for the devices Bluetooth signal and as soon as I approved it connected immediately.
If it helps anyone, I purchased the 14-piece kit with storage pouch
Other reviews claim scary things such as how one person dug out their eardrum and another had a piece come loose in their ear
It’s important to remember the inner ear is a very vulnerable spot. The kit comes with a diagram of the ear warning you not to dig deep and there’s good reason for that
My only recommendation is to secure the tip of the otoscope EVERY time because it is a detachable screw on tip and will come off if you don’t secure it.
I had NO issues, it worked EXACTLY as expected.
My only complaint is that I wish there was variety in the shapes of the otoscope tips. It’s just slightly different spoon sizes and only one tip is a different size; and a majority of the 14 piece kit’s tips are just identical foam tips for cleaning your ear.

Tool broke off from camera loose in eardrum

Please stay far away; the pick part to clean my ear fell off inside my ear canal/disconnected from the camera piece. I had to go to an urgent care to remove it. I could still see it with the camera but it had fallen in too deep. Any deeper and I could have permanently damaged my hearing or been in pain had it been touching my ear drum, just a few mm away. A must have

The Bebird is a must have weather you have a family or it’s just for you. This thing is great and I’ve never had cleaner ears. You don’t even have to use it to clean your ears. Game changer for me. Absolutely amazing.

I had surgery in one ear thirty years ago that destroyed the ear canal’s ability to drain wax normally. This has required decades of visits to my ent for regular cleanings, and on dozens of occasions a plugged ear which is highly annoying. Got the Bebird in the mail today and fired it up. I had the camera connected to my phone in about 60 seconds. The app makes it super easy. I looked inside and was stunned to see the disgusting wad of hard wax. After cleaning it out the high pitched cam back. Such a relief! I wish I’d purchased this thing long ago! Super easy to use and honestly it’s fun as well. Highly recommended!

Good ratings clearly done by company

All of the 5 star ratings calling customers dumb over not being able to do something as “simple” as connecting to a wifi network are clearly written by the company and not actual customers. Crazy how I follow every single instruction to connect my device in their manual and it still fails to connect. Then I come to the app reviews for advice only to be called stupid because I don’t know how to connect to a wifi network - I do, the app just plain doesn’t work. It automatically connects, but then still forces me to do the manual connection. I ensure it’s manually connected to the wifi, and the app still acts like it isn’t connected to anything. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded it multiple times, I’ve reset the device multiple times, I’ve forgotten and joined the wifi network multiple times, all to no avail. It’s simply a junk device with a junk app that the company wants to you to believe is all your fault for not working. Crazy business ethics at play here. Why not just fix your app so that it actually works instead of creating fake reviews calling people with legitimate complaints stupid? Make an actually working product and you’ll get actual good reviews, it’s really not that hard.

Ive tried multiple times, over multiple devices over the course of months. this app has NEVER worked. the camera display is black no matter what i do. in settings, there is no option to enable camera. the app has never prompted me to allow the camera, and going into settings on the app to enable the camera just brings you to the phones settings where there is, like i said. not an option to turn it on. customer support is a useless robot. this product and company is a joke. save your money and time, buy anything else.

New update not working

I have a Suear 616fe and it’s not connecting with the new update. I’ve never had this problem before. Very frustrating. In general I’m pleased with the product, but not after this update. Also, sometimes the camera gets choppy, which is frustrating. Then I just have to restart the device.

Terrible Online Support

My device stopped working (LED no longer turned on when camera was in operation). Tried multiple connection resets as stated in the manual to no avail. Worked for a short time

Gets worse with every update

They are actively making this app worse I don’t know if they’re trying to date or harvest or what. You can’t even download pictures that you took without it being connected to the tool anymore. Wtf

I’ve had my bebird since 2021 and never had any issues. I noticed today that the app was very glitchy so I updated. Almost 900 of my videos and photos have now vanished. This might sound weird but those videos were apart of my bed time watch list. It’s like watching pimple popping videos but instead cleaning my own ears. I am heartbroken. I had a whole cluster list filled with my favorite extractions that I did myself. I refused to buy a new one.

Camera won’t work

the device appears to be in good condition; however, the camera functionality is currently non-operational. Additionally, the device is experiencing ongoing Bluetooth connectivity issues, as it continuously attempts to locate the device without success. It cannot find the device via Bluetooth or manual connection. I have verified that both the app and my iOS system are up to date. Presently, the device is largely unusable. Due to the persistent camera and Bluetooth issues, I would not recommend this app or the device.

Don’t believe the ratings

This thing is absolutely amazing. I’m surprised that more people don’t speak about how great this product is. I bought it once and moved and lost it in the process. I later bought. New one and used it today, it was the second time a large wax was hurting my hearing and could not pull that out either a Qtip. It’s worth the money and worth investing it. The camera is amazing to use and I would recommend this to friends and family.

I love this thing!

This thing is great man! I’ve been using this brand and this particular tool for about 5 years now and I have no complaints at all. I’ve never had any trouble with the app or the appliance. It’s great for monitoring ear infections and wax build up, and it has even helped with tele health appointments because I can show the doctor what the inside of my ear looks like for proper diagnosis. You could even use it in that instance for throats and nasal openings. Just all around great product!

Does not connect

Why is it so hard to connect Bluetooth this is very annoying! Is is not easily connected. I done everything it said to do and it just won’t find the device. I’m using an iPhone 15 Max. I signed up on my email agreed to it. It just won’t connect to the device at all. I put it very close to it. I’m not sure why you need Wi-Fi but I have the Wi-Fi on. It should just be Bluetooth connecting to their app. Not sure why this is so difficult. And on the packaging has a telephone number to China. I live in USA. We need a customer service here in the US Instructions is very vague. I really wanted this to work.

Why all these negative reviews??

I bought this 2.5 years ago and today had some time to try it! Wow! I can’t believe how amazing this tool is in showing inside my ear ! I have always used cotton on stick (not using brand name) and never trusted sticking those inside my ears. This tool gives you full confidence in what you are doing inside ear canal! The app works perfectly even though I had it for over 2 years !

Just works (if you can follow directions)

Another reviewer said it too, this uses Wi-Fi essentially to connect to your phone. I mean, the pen has a Wi-Fi hotspot in it that you connect to, then it talks to the pen through the app through that Wi-Fi connection. I think other people just don’t understand it or get overly spooked by the fact that the app NEEDS those permissions to work. Seems too well designed and app/ product to have only 2 and a half stars.

All of the low rating just don’t have the common sense to use the product correctly you have to go to your WiFi selection and pick the device as a new WiFi network in settings then open the app and it will connect if the camera get blurry it’s probably dirty or has earwax on it so maybe clean it off it worked flawlessly for me and the nervousness of the low rating was unwarranted

Data Collecting Trash

The app used to let you connect and use the tool without enabling local network permissions. The only requirement it needs to function is to connect to the tools WiFi to display the camera view. Before it would ask you to enable local network but still function as normal if you did not, now the app still shows it connects to the tool but refuses to allow you to use the app at all until you enable the local network permission in settings. Looks like a blatant attempt to force users to share their local network history to build a profile on you to then sell. Return it to how it was or remove the local network permission altogether.

Complaints are valid

I followed the directions and it worked perfectly…for a little while. I was able to see inside just fine and moving right along until I wanted to change the head. I turned it off, changed the head then turned it back on and tried to reconnect and was told the Wi-Fi connection was too weak. Heck, I’m on the Wi-Fi provided utilizing the password provided. I turn the telephone on and off, chose forget the device and nothing. I know I didn’t just pay over $50 for this mess. I’m about to try this again but if it doesn’t work this time…well you know😡😡

Exported Photos Are Blurry

The app works fine. It’s actually better than I expected in terms of quality for an app for a device like this. The only complaint I have with it is whenever I export pictures taken with the otoscope the exported photos are TINY, so everything is blurry. I’ve tried exporting them to Files, sending them in Messages, and saving them to my Photos library. No matter what I try, the exports are small and blurry.

The app requires you to allow it to discover devices on your local network. The app should require you to do that. You simply go to your WiFi setting and switch your connection from your router to the device. The app also requires you to turn on the cell data for the app and background refresh. Put all of that together and you would be suspicious too.
The development compony will probably respond to this review saying that their app is secure and we have nothing to worry about. My response, then why are you requiring these things now when I have been using it without these settings for months before one of your recent app updates.

TOTALLY BROKEN!!

Every update makes it worse. Now it demands CELLULAR DATA AND WLAN ACCESS. While literally working int the background. DO NOT GIVE CELLULAR! Must be spying for China or something. This update breaks the app. Never need cellular or wlan in the past 5 years all while working fine. Now it literally still works but just blocks your view with a flat out lying pop up about cellular and wlan need to be turned on. I can see the camera working fine so I know it’s a lie. Not to mention it never asked before this last update. The only reason it would need that is to send spyware back. It’s a local device it cannot need cellular or wlan.

Device Connection Solution & LED Brightness

Many have been complaining about device initially working fine and then it stopped working after some sort of update. I experienced this as well but my solution was to remove the app and reinstall it. After doing so it connected again. Only giving it 3 stars because of that little inconvenience, but mainly because there is no LED light brightness adjustment. Other than these two things, the device seems to be pretty good, with nice camera clarity and a lot of nice attachments.

Works for what it’s needed

I’m not sure if people here just aren’t tech savvy, but the instructions were clear enough for me to have this thing set up in 2 minutes. Turn it on, connect to its WiFi (not your own WiFi, the devices WiFi), go back to the app and take it from there. I will way, there were some connection issues with the device itself, it would disconnect from the app a few times or just turn off, but I just kept reconnecting it. Wasn’t that much of a hassle. Got my ear cleaned out and cleared me of the anxiety attack I was having since I couldn’t hear out of one ear because it was so clogged. I’m happy.

Bebird Note 5 Series

As much as I love the Note 5, I am very disappointed in the poor performance of the WiFi connection over the last two iOS (17&18) updates. It is a string of Bebird Note 5 refusing to connect to either my iPhone 15 Pro Max or my 6th Gen iPad Pro 12.9”, or when connected, constant drop-outs or disconnects while the device is in the ear canal. I cannot tell if it is the Note 5 or the Apple device initiating those issues.
When it works it works great. But, it is not working the majority of time. I cannot have the screen go black when using!
Again, this appears to started happening at some point after upgrading to iOS and iPadOS 17 and has gotten worse under 18 (currently on 18.2).
One other improvement to consider is allowing the app on either device to go to landscape when rotated.

Worked instantly

Idk what the bad reviews are about. Worked instantly. Really helpful to get junk out of ears. IPhone on WiFi Bluetooth off, press button on the device which starts a WiFi called bebird, connect your phone to that WiFi. Boom there you go. Couldn’t be easier... also the thing came and stayed charged even after sitting for months

Cool little camera !!

I just received my Bebird visual ear cleaner and I think it’s pretty cool. You can see all kinds of things in your ears, nose and mouth, very clear camera and you can take pictures to view later or to show a doctor. I’m not sure why all the negative reviews because I took mine out of the box, downloaded the Bebird app, turned the visual ear cleaner on, tapped on Bebird in my WIFI setting and it connected right away, no problems at all! Not sure if some people are not reading the instructions correctly or trying to connect using Bluetooth or what, but I really like it and would recommend it to anyone!!

Disappointed in response times

Great tool but disappointed in the response time for someone to look at your results. It’s been 1 hr, 10 min and I’m still 123 in line….. Makes no sense unless it’s just not a functional feature.
Update: the response time for the results took a little longer (around 48 hr) but it was actually super helpful, making it worth the wait. 10/10!!!!

100% worth it

I purchased this ear wax removal and didn’t expect it to be this good of a tool instead of wasting money going to the doctor to remove my ear wax I have a tool that can do it within 10 mins… best purchase of the year gets the job done great!!!! The app works really well too was able to set it up perfectly in a minute. Only critique is I wish it came with some sort of forceps attachment!!

A bad app got worse.

I prefer to use this on iPad since it has a bigger screen and won’t complain about “no internet, switch to cellular data” like my iPhone does. The problem is this app does not seem to support landscape mode. I always have to rotate my iPad from landscape to vertical and then back to landscape to get the image to rotate and that can only be done from within the camera view, not the Home Screen. If they allowed the Home Screen to be landscape this would fix that issue. The other problem I have is the image is always mirrored/reversed. I have to tap the ear icon to flip it and then it’s correct but it never remembers this setting. It also never remembers the camera brightness setting. Please allow these settings to be saved rather then being reverted each time. If these three things could be fixed then the app would be 5 stars. As for the product, it works well and I recommend it but I wish they made the tips smaller. Even the smallest blue rubber scoop is too big. A smaller one would make the job easier.
August 2024 update: the latest version of the app is even worse then before. The app doesn’t work in landscape at all. The settings have completely disappeared. The camera is super laggy and choppy when I never had that issue before and you can’t even see the percentage of the battery anymore. I’m so frustrated with this downgrade I’m about to throw it out and find something from a different brand.

Removed camera lock function with update

The only way this device was usable was to be able to lock the camera in a specific direction, otherwise the camera flips angles constantly. With their newest update they removed this feature but put “modes” aka screen designs around the constantly moving camera. It is totally unusable now. I’ve owned five of these tools for my plaque psoriasis and they worked wonders and I was about to buy a new one but I won’t now. I reached out to customer service multiple times in multiple ways and got no answer back for over a week now. I won’t be purchasing from them or using this product anymore.

Bebird: Orientation Lock

Everyone complains about the connection between the device and their phones. Not me. The connection is not the issue. My issue is, since they have updated the app, I cannot find the Orientation Lock. I can’t figure out how to stop the screen from flipping and spinning every time I move the device. Not sure if the feature has been removed or just hidden.

Works as expected, read review for instructions

iOS causes issues with any device that uses its own WiFi connection for app communication. It happens with dashcams, cameras, IoT devices, etc. This app works flawlessly if you know what you’re doing.
1) Open settings
2) Scroll *alllllll* the way down to the Bebird settings and open it
3) Turn off cellular data
4) This prevents the app from attempting to use cellular instead of WiFi which, again, is an iOS limitation. I have to do the same thing with my Rexing dashcam.
Sometimes it may help to turn off Bluetooth (have to do it in CarPlay to access my Dashcam because my car has wireless CarPlay which forces my phone to connect to my car’s WiFi network)
As for my review of the app, it’s fast, doesn’t look like a cheap Chinese knockoff, and works as expected without any bugs that I’ve noticed. It also keeps the screen on while streaming the camera which is nice. App reviews are not the place to review the actual product, do that on Amazon/Walmart/wherever you bought it

It’s actually good

At first the reviews scared me but this was actually really helpful to help clear out the wax I had in my ears. People had problems with the WiFi and I did too but it’s because I didn’t watch the video they have for you to watch on how to connect it. Watch the video and bam, it works. It’s really easy and and quality is actually pretty good. Not disappointed

Why so many negative reviews?

I purchased this from my friend and love it. I don’t understand why everyone’s complaining about the connectivity. There’s a video explaining step-by-step on how to connect it. It was so easy and the cameras clear the device is high-quality and it’s a little charging stand. It’s cool I don’t see what the issue is. Anyways, I purchase this to resell but I’m going to keep it because yeah.. I like it.

No ads for me,trouble free performance

I just received my device today,and used it for the first time,everything went off without a hitch and I'm pleased with my purchase.
That said,I almost didn't buy this because of the app reviews and ratings,I'll go ahead and cover a couple things:
1)I didn't receive any ads,but I also declined the popup upon startup that was probably asking if I minded being sent ads (I do)
2)This is a WIFI DEVICE,which means you need to connect to it as you would a router,don't try to connect using Bluetooth because this is not a Bluetooth device
The first time I opened the app,I went to settings and disconnected from my router,and connected to the Bebird,it connected immediately and started working with no issues

Great tool

This ear probe device is a great little tool and worth every penny but it's a bit tricky. It charges up fast and even shows you on the app portion how much battery percentage you have so no guess work there. Since everyone's main complaint is how to connect, this is how I did that. I turned the ear probe on first. Then I went to my settings on my Ipad and be-bird showed up. I tapped be-bird which disconnected me from my network name on the list. I got a "no internet connection" which I then uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Again no internet connection. The instruction book says reboot my router but nope not doing that. Also it says contact my provider but again nope and in frustration I walked away and when I got back about five min later, lo and behold the app opened on my ipad, I gently inserted the probe and I was able to see inside my ear and get to the bottom of why my ear felt full and sore. Guess what---. Inflammation ; time to make a dr appt. This app could use some improvements on connectivity but I think it's an essential thing to have around the house together with a trusty thermometer, BP monitor and a good stethoscope all which are good to have if you want to know if its time to call the doc or go to the ER.

Something shady about this…

Bought the “BeBird Note 5”. It just arrived. I was very excited to use it, however, I can’t.
1) The device doesn’t connect to the app. 2) The app directions say choose your model. The Note5 isn’t listed. 3). The directions also say connect to the WAN. Can’t do that. WAN is not an option on my iPhone. I do have local network on in my WIFI settings 4) Bebird eventually pops up as a WIFI option, HOWEVER, it is unsecured and I’m not going to reconfigure my WIFI. 3). When I tried to go to the website via the links provided to read up on their security permissions I got a warning that said their certification had expired 17 days ago and did I want to continue? I did not. Slick looking gadget but everything about it looks scammy. Why doesn’t it connect via Bluetooth? Why are the directions out of date? Etc, etc. It’s going back.

Not working….help!?!

I have had my camera for about 9 months. Other than connecting to WiFi issues, which is no big deal if you just use data instead, I haven’t had too many issues. Occasionally it would freeze but again not too much of an issue as you just restart it and it’s all good. Well all of a sudden my camera screen in the app is green and pink. It’s almost like looking at a photograph negative I guess. I don’t know. I’ve tried cleaning my lens, deleting and reinstalling the app, letting the battery completely die and recharging it…nothing is working!!!! I’ve emailed the company and have gotten no response. Basically this camera is now useless. Sadly the company doesn’t seem to be helpful either.

Long time customer

Well, maybe not too long, but I have been using Bebird ear cameras since 2019. So I have had a few of them. I just got the M9 and I love it! Unfortunately, all of a sudden everything connects, battery fully charged… but the screen is black. It won’t show me the camera. Very upset, because I know there is nothing wrong with the camera, I take good care of it. I have had to get so many of these… I love what they do, but the app can get glitchy sometimes and the cameras eventually crap out on you, usually in less than a year.

Dreadful. New update forces you to watch ads. DO NOT BUY BEBIRD

I have used a BeBird for a couple of years after moving away from the more expensive “other brand”. I’ve not had any real issues with the device - besides graininess when it’s battery is low - until now.
I opened the app the other day to find myself forced to view ads prior to being able to use a device that I paid for and have never had to view ads on before. It’s one thing if we start out with forced ads, but to have forced ads after is reprehensible.
Perhaps if enough people speak with their wallet, this company will change their policy and their app.

Follow the instructions

While my device charged, I read some reviews and got scared and wondered if I shouldn’t waste my time and just return the device. I was able to get it to work in less than 3 mins. After switching your wifi to the bebird, you have to hit the button on the the device for it to turn on/off. I’m sure this is why so many people are having issues with connecting the device to their phone correctly.
It took less than an hour to charge and it says in the app how long you can use it before needing another charge (75mins) so charging it overnight like some people had issues of it not working properly.
If I can suggest, use the black accessory after becoming accustomed to the device. I scratched my inner ear thinking I needed that to “grab” the goo.

Inferior battery

Charged the device out of the box overnight. Next day I unplugged the base but did not use the device. 2nd day decided to download the app and begin use of the device. Device turned on for about 2 minutes and needed to recharge, never even got a chance to use it. I’m really not sure what the standby time is but def didn’t expect the battery to be dead within the first 24 hours with 0 usage. There are toothbrushes that are as smaller, do more, and have a better battery life. Was looking forward to using the device since it seemed like a novel idea, but will be returning after such a poor out the box experience. Hopefully bebird can take the time and money to either get a better battery or at least some quality control on their devices.

Well worth the money but functionality can be improved

App installed and worked like a breeze. Great real-time images that guide you where to go - however, as the image seems mirrored, it’s counter intuitive to adjust the directions… I am sure if I invest a lot of time to train myself how to react in the opposite direction as I see, I can finally master the skill of ear wax removal. But wouldn’t it better if the developer can modify the image display so that you can operate in the same direction as you would see with your eyes?

Works great. It very clear. The tool takes a little time getting used to since you’re looking at a picture and trying to move your hand in a different way. But the app worked great. Love the part that you can record it and look at it again later. Or you can take pictures as you’re digging in your ear

Unplug-Uncap-Connect-Success!

I have the M9 pro... here’s what I did to make it work.
First, the device charges on a computer... but it can’t be plugged in when you use it. So step one is... unplug!
Second, it won’t connect unless you take the cap off the “pen”/ stylus/“ear looker”.... can be in or out of base. Step two: uncap.
Third: For iPhone: go to settings/WiFi/networks other. The phone may take a minute or two to “discover” other networks. You will now see bebird... select it! Watch for the check mark saying you are connected.
Fourth, go to the app on your phone. Hit the three lines at the top left: choose your device (hint: it’s on the back of the box it came in).
Last: hit start. Yes, there is a block saying connect to WiFi... it’s just to tell you to do step 3. It’s a direction for you... not an actual connection. Hitting the picture of the house “start” button will allow you to start “bebirding”!
The short version: unplug/uncap/connect/start

People trouble

When it says connect to your wifi it means go to your setting and go like if you’re going to connect to your home wifi it should be there named bird something
I’m enjoying this soooo much and I can testify that when people say that cleaning your ears with q-tips is bad I never believed them but today just changed my mind and proved my wrong on that. I found this on tiktok and tried it and loved it I highly highly recommend it. Not sure if it helps my case but I’m a very picky person so take that how ever you want.

Read Reviews for Instructions

First, the instructions (in the app or in the hard copy that comes with the device) clearly were not edited correctly, so some things make no sense. Next, be sure to use THIS app, not the “Bebird Pro” app which has much better reviews, but won’t work (not sure how that happens). When your device keeps dropping the wifi, turn off Bluetooth like many people recommends. It works great if you follow the instructions in the reviews.
As far as the “fit & finish” of the device, it is very well done. The pen feels sturdy and the charging holder that opens to yield tips inside is a great idea. I would give the device 5 stars but it seems like the company cheeped out on the app as it is more of a beta version vs production. That being said, the device is worth getting and I hope enough people complaining about the app will push the company to add some updates soon to fix stability and bugs.

Good once you figure the Wifi connection issue out

Quick tip: turn your Bluetooth off, as it appears to interfere with your pick connection
I followed the instructions, got all the way to the point where I connected to my Wi-Fi, went back into the app, hit start, it never found the camera and after about 10 seconds would flip back to the “Connect to Wi-Fi” screen in the app. Since people were saying Bluetooth had issues, I turned my Bluetooth off. Tried again and it worked like a charm. So if you were having the same issues where it keeps flipping your back to the Wi-Fi connection instructions, try turning off your Bluetooth and repeat the connection to Wi-Fi step.

You need the right app

This is an extremely well made, high quality tool, especially for the price. It’s not only superb for finding and painlessly removing ear wax from yourself and your children, but it gives a clear view of the eardrum to assess whether a child has a middle ear infection. No school nurse should be without this.
In addition, it gives a high magnification view of any surface it’s held close to. In particular, it’s brilliant for examining teeth. It reveals cracks and tiny cavities even your dentist will miss.
I ordered the A2 model out of curiosity. I was shocked at the quality and utility of what I received.
Yes, it’s made in China. Yes, you have to puzzle over the instructions. No, a product of this quality and sophistication could not be manufactured in this country, and if it were, it would cost at least 100 times as much. I know this for a fact. I own a medical instrument company.
Order it and figure it out. It’s not beyond the wit of man, and it is well worth the trouble.

WOW!

I didn’t actually know it, but I’ve been looking for this device for years. And I finally found it.
I have always had problems with wax and other buildup in my ears. And, since I started wearing hearing aids, it’s getting even more aggravating. “Don’t use cotton swabs!” All the doctors say. And it is true. I’ve actually impacted my ear with wax to the pint that I had to go to the doctor to have it removed; and once, while on a cruise, got some severely impacted and had to get really rough on myself getting it out by flushing my ear; and another time ended up with a ‘foreign object’ stuck in my ear - as my attempt to get something out went awry.
Then I got two of these - a M9 Pro for home and A2 for travel. They arrived and I looked them over carefully. I’m ‘into’ machines and technology and find details interesting; these are VERY interesting. They’re very nicely crafted, very professionally and conveniently packaged, and quite utilitarian.
Then I charged them up and worked to set them up. This was a bit of a challenge, as my App Store did not cooperate with the download for a while - but I got past that. The installation/setup instructions were not the very best - but I worked through them. And then (each, one at a time) I turned them on.
OMG! It was like a new world opened up for me!! I looked into each of my ears and could see the exact state of them. I happened to have just showered and I could see a bit of water/moisture in the ear canal - mixed in with some chunks of wax. I simple rotated the ‘spoon tool’ to capture the wax and pulled it and the water out!!!
The video feature allowed documenting the process; the picture feature allowed documenting the status.
If you’ve got issues with your ears, this is a MUST HAVE device; either one. I won’t be without one again.
And, for those who have so much trouble getting theirs set up - again, the instructions are not the best. The steps are not that intuitive in some ways. And having it connect via Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth is unique, if nothing else; and it took a bit to figure out/get through that part (instructions again). But it was worth it!!!

Bebird video scope App

Easily connected my iPhone 11 Pro to bebird WiFi on first try and was able to use scope and app within minutes. Video is clear. App is simple and straightforward. No complaints.
I see some reviewers could not connect probe to phone. I am wondering if they are trying to connect as if it were a Bluetooth device, which this is not, instead of joining the bebird WiFi network that appears after bebird probe is powered on??
Also if battery is low probe will connect to phone momentarily but will shutoff which will terminate the WiFi connection. All you have to do is charge the probe or use while it is plugged in.
