Only Stereo?
I found the app works for me but it’s only a stereo playback. Doesn’t do the film any favors in the Sound award categories.

What a pile of garbage
I am suposed to assess visual effects on a tiny screen? It's bad enough in-person screenings aren't conveniently sceduled on large screens. I can't even cast to a decent screen from my pone, laptop or iPad. I am supposed to assess based on a bloody 3" image? I will never vote for a film offered to me in tis manner. I encouage oters to do the same. Did I say GARBAGE? Bring back DVD and BluRays until you fix tis piece ofr junk.

I wish I could give 0 stars
The screeners will only play on my phone. I would rather watch them on my tv. When I try to cast the screener on my tv it just continues to refresh and can’t not download/play a movie or show. Also, I can only cast through my DirectTV stream box and not on my smart TV or Apple TV. This has been so frustrating because I haven’t watched anything and probably won’t be able to vote for the awards this year. What a waste of my dues. So disappointed.

Buggy Uploads.
Hard to watch and properly evaluate movies on this app as the movies streaming on them skip and glitch. I checked and it is not my internet. It glitches at the same moments every time. Just terrible.

Terrible App — shame for your awards hopefuls…
This is the WORST WORST application I have ever had to use to watch anything.
I’m highly technical and experienced in using web based software and spent two hours trying to screen this at home with my two kids to no avail. If you’re gonna not allow to screen it on TV then send an old school DVD for crying out loud…

This is what it’s come to?
These films are supposed to be the best cinematic experiences of the year. I am appalled that we are forced to watch them on a 3 inch screen. I for one will not vote for any studio film that does not send a proper screener so the film can be watched on a large screen as it was intended. I encourage you to do the same.

Failure
Well, this was not a well thought out delivery. It seems unless one has purchased all the newest hardware this app won’t work with older devices. I tried my three year old Apple XS phone, my iPad Pro 2, and my PowerBook from 2015. All failed to allow the code. My AppleTV generation 3 was too outdated.
WB and all the other studios locked out filming for a year and no one now has the money to buy a 4k/8k tv for underneath the Christmas tree. We crew are not rich.

I saw a similar review from December, I would think they've already addressed the issue. When You click play, you only see a few seconds of the image and then the screen goes black, with sound going... Wish I could give no stars.

Won't work in Mac OS 12.0.1 Monterey
I just installed the app, downloaded my film selection and tried to watch. All that I was able to see was the start of the WB logo sequence before the screen went black. The progress bar kept going forward, but no picture. I tried this multiple times, but had the same problem over and over and gave up. I don't have the patience for software that won't function as it should.

Only macOS? no streaming to browser, thats poor form.
This could have been an opportunity for WB to work on generalized platform, instead it chooses to lock itself to closed interfaces. I guess that the ambition to go up against Netflixs of the world is not there.

Can't Chromecast
How ridiculously stupid of the WBFYC team to only show screeners in their app, which can't chromecast. I don't watch movies on my computer or phone, I watch them on my 106" screen with surround sound. Thus, I will not be watching any of the movies on this app. Hope they send DVDs I guess.

Access cut off before voting deadline
I still have another 14 hours to vote for the SAG Awards and it says my login ID has expired because it’s “only active during awards season.” I guess Just Mercy won’t be getting my vote even though I hear it’s a great film.

Abysmal audio quality
Started off ok as the picture quality was surprisingly good, but the audio sounds like the track is duplicated and then offset by 2 frames. Since I was given this screener to judge the audio for awards season, you’d think they’d have figured out how to make it sounds remotely listenable. Gigantic fail.

Exceptional interface
The bad reviews are all referring to the lack of Chromecast compatibility. Yes this is annoying but in no way does merit one star. This interface is superb and exceptionally easy to navigate. App developers, please extend mirroring capability to other devices. Other studios, copy this app!

Great app despite flaws
I love the idea of viewing screeners via an app, but like others said, we should be able to cast them to our TVs. I have an Apple TV, so I was able to download the app there and watch, but that restriction shouldn’t be in place. But please continue this idea WB, and improve upon it next year!

I wish all the studios did this. The app works great but I wish you could use cast it to a Chromecast. Not everyone has an Apple TV.
