Description

Soft Pads was created for musicians to eliminate any dead space behind your band by providing an ambient background loop that continuously runs in the background. If you have a band or are a solo performer this is the app you've been waiting for!
Features:
Soft Pads has over 10 different ambient loop pad sounds to choose from that can be selected in any of the 12 keys of music. All of the sounds on Soft Pads were carefully selected and designed to only be top quality sounds/pads.
Select one pad sound or layer many to create unique sound combinations. Soft Pads allows near limitless sound options. Our custom sounds like Phaser, Vox, and Breath can be stacked with other pad sounds to create amazing tones. The options are limitless on the different ambient sounds this app can achieve!
Soft Pads does not interfere with other music software programs. Soft Pads will continue to play behind other open apps; it'll even keep playing after pressing the on/off button!
Soft Pads allows you to customize your experience with several background colors allowing you to chose your favorite colors and background schemes. It also includes an enhanced viewing mode that performs fabulously on stage to make the fonts and contrast bolder and stand out for easier viewing.
Soft Pads allows users to turn crossfade on or off and even allows you to chose if you want to allow multiple pads (sticky keys) or just single pads.
Soft Pads is everything you could need all in one app! No more mess of having to download mp3's or sound files or waiting for downloads for hours just to get a few pads to work. Soft Pads gives you everything you need in the palm of your hands without having to go through any hassles or extra steps.

Recommend the following:
1. Download while connected to WiFi.
2. Make sure that your device is in standard or normal viewing mode (Not zoomed or large print). This may affect the "swipe" function. To reveal the menu/settings, swipe left to right from the main screen. To reveal the sound pad choices, swipe right to left from the main screen.
3. For best results during performance, switch on "Airplane Mode".

Love it!

We only have 2 musicians in our worship team (keys & drums) and this is like adding a 3rd. I Set it up on my iPad in arms reach and it was able to layer pads changing the feel for each song and it made transitioning to songs in different keys smooth without that awkward moment of silence while changing keyboard settings. Great value so don’t hesitate. Wish I’d had this years ago

Almost it

Pads sound great. But please add support for side by side view on an iPad. Also the audio fades out if I bring another app up in sidebar mode. And cross fade / fade in/out time is too fast, let me adjust it. Otherwise an excellent app!

Not working...

The swipe left and swipe right does not work. So I cannot change the pad. Also I am unable to adjust volume from the app when connected to a midi device

Super useful

Great app! Sounds are quality, beautiful and extremely versatile. I love the stacking, and the cross fade makes stage-usage a breeze. Had one small issue and support got it resolved quickly - was user error. Might add an arrow or page dots or something on the interface so folks know that there’s a left and right menu. Other than that, brilliant app. Will continue to use. Makes this one-man-show sound much more full!

Wow!, Best $5 bucks I’ve spent on an App

I lead worship sing, and play piano and was looking for pads to fill in the sound. Found free stuff but after some research I decided to give this app a try. Very simple, versatile, beautiful and affordable. Must have for any solo performer.

Worth the money.

This a great app. Worth way more than the price. Love the different pads. Love being able to play multiple pads at once. I only wish it had a way to control the volume. Using the volume control buttons on the iPad are to disruptive, and doesn’t always work if you’re running multiple apps.

Great App for any kind of music

I love this app. I would highly recommend it, if you’re looking for great sounding pads. Also, you can use multiple pads at the same time to create awesome sounds.

Much better than autopad

i have used similar apps in the past and this app has the best sounds of any one ive tried. like how u can blend sounds and easy to switch keys

Simple and sounds great!

This is the fourth app I’ve downloaded in my attempt to find a simple way to add pads to our church and this one is the best so far! Simple to use and the pads sound amazing! Only suggestion would be to be able to adjust the length of the cross fade.

Great app

Very simple to use... really helps remove the dead space between songs. Midi support to start/stop and change keys would be awesome (think footswitch)... but otherwise, awesome app!

Perfect for smaller churches

This app was the perfect “fill in the gap” for us with regard to son transitions. There are plenty of features for the price, well worth the price.

Heavenly sounds

Changes the atmosphere and is continuous looping. Portable and plugs right into the churches DI box. I have been looking for this flexibility forever. Incredible app. Love this. Really builds the sound behind my band.

No GarageBand or Audiobus as mentioned

The app is simple and does its job
but disappointed that there is no Audiobus or GarageBand support as promised by developer in description
Also when not is crossfade mode, has boundary clicks when starting or stopping ...Which is not a deal breaker .. since I mostly use crossfading but something to be looked into

Wonderful app!

I have other pads but they are unable to be changed like they are with this app. I like the simplicity with this app.
On a sidenote: when I first bought this app it didn’t seem to work correctly. The creator personally contacted me and we work through the issues. We don’t know what was going on, it could have been simply my own error. I’m pointing this out because they went above and beyond trying to fix the issue I was having.

Love it!!

It’s always so frustrating when your leading worship and then all of the sudden the time on the pad runs out and there’s the awkward moment of dead space before it restarts. Soft Pads has totally eliminated that and helps create an on going atmosphere of worship! I love this app and all of the cool sounds you can make with it! Definitely worth the buy!

Fantastic sounds!

This app has a great lay out and it’s simple design allows for smooth transitions between keys and can be managed by anyone in the band. Have used it for worship sets and it adds a great dynamic to the room! All around fantastic app!

Great for a solo acoustic player

I play in homes a lot with just my acoustic and my voice. Being able to have a tool like this to help fill dead space is great, and works a lot more smoothly than the competitors... for less money. Totally worth it.
