Biggest Cheerleader

I have highly recommended this site to so many in the short time I have been lucky enough to take advantage of it myself. I am blown away by the furnishings I have won through the bid process. I have used this site to furnish my son’s apartment and buy the best graduation gifts for family and friends going off to college and needing to furnish their door room or house. You can get more bang for the buck!!!

Purchased lawnboy lawnmower listed as self propelled. After purchase discovered this lawnmower was a push mower. Therefore deceitful related to retail value which in turn effected my purchase. Buyer Beware

Yes, we all know the risks of buying returned items However, there is no organization to these auctions at all. I received a completely wrong item due to the fact that my winning bid number tag was swapped to a different item. No one is checking to make sure orders are filled properly. Sure you can find really good deals, but be cautious of what you receive.

I regularly bid and purchase. Today when I try to bid the message reads “Error: Addresses match, zip codes do not. All of my information is entered correctly. This has never been an issue. I tried logging out, changing my password, re-entering my information, and deleting the app. What’s going on?!

I lost a bid on an item in the last second it usually goes back to 2 minutes every time someone bids whenever it’s under 2 minutes this time it didn’t I had the high bid and it was counting down and when it was done it said I lost it you just lost my business and I will tell everyone I know about it

Scammers they take money for crap products

They take out too much in taxes and other fees if u win at around $100 ur paying $130. If it says open box which they don’t list this in their terms and agreement if it says open box it can be damaged or not damage they’re not gonna tell you which is ridiculous but they can’t tell you if somethings are damaged and not damaged makes no sense this place is horrible for different things yesterday said that it was new that I had Botton all but one of them were used and broken and I spent over $200 in one bid. These ppl are scammers

Waste of money

Description always says open box and I have bought two things now that are clearly broken. A second grader could of determined that. Yes I can go in and look before bidding but I have a real job and they have horrible hours for inspecting. High fees as well. Used this for a week and never will again.

0ut of approx 20 items, approx 5 were ok. 6 pc knife set had 3 knives; steamer was used, dirty and missing lid; solar flowers were caked with mud/dirt; three different children’s toys were missing pieces, child’s toy had electronic board apart and not in tact; stationary bike seat material cut. These items were all noted opened. They were not noted damaged. Very disappointed

App is OK - products also OK

I don’t have much of a problem with the app - you need to learn how to use it. Not a steep learning curve - but there’s some particulars that take a minute to grasp. Be careful tho - they list stuff as ‘open box’ and it seems they do this to cover themselves. The item descriptions are vague and or lacking info because the volume is so high (I believe). But items will appear new and then you pick it up and get it home and realize it has a dent or a piece is missing or it’s just broken or it’s been used... so be prepared to ‘lose’ on some of this stuff - they also give you the option to come inspect items - which I feel is just another way for them to turn down return of items. I’ve received a used toothbrush (gross), and a tool box that doesn’t close cause it’s dented, and a vacuum that was used and still had dirt and hair in it. Most things you get for half price - so you get some good buys, but you can also get burned on stuff.

Awesome service crappy app

I love buying stuff here but if there was one thing I could change it would be to have a reminder to let you know when your watches items were going off. It’s so annoying when you find out the item you were watching for days went off and you’d forgotten to bid.

dont bid without checking out items

dont believe their “inspection”. got an” openbox “ carpet cleaner which doesnt run. this is clearly a “damaged” item as opposed to the so called open box. a simple plug in would have shown that. i can put up with the slightly used or missing wheel or something stupid but to not even able turn on is very dissapointing.

Picked up today dog bed definitely not what was advertised. Paid $70.00 dog bed was all chewed up by another dog, smelled and was not useable. This item was not as described on auction. $ 70 LOSS!
Picked up spiral tree, NOT AS DESCRIBED 4ft NOT 6ft suppose original price $269 on Amazon I paid $60 LOSS $60. Much smaller than description with a lot of loose pieces.
These items have not be checked out yet had a description.
Thinking about removing card and website!!!!!

Parts missing

We have purchased many many items from this site and are usually satisfied, BUT recently I and my kids have purchased items with missing parts.
They show pictures of nice things but get it home you can’t even use it. Yes you can go see each item at the pickup site but that’s 60 miles round trip just to bid on an item. I AM DONE WASTING MY MONEY

The best app

I never leave reviews but I had to for this. The stuff you get on this app is typically in brand new condition and it comes at a good price even though you’re bidding against other people. I have furnished my entire bedroom with this app. I have also got other great things I needed around the house.

Total bull about Abandon items

Works but needs updated

I have found it easy to star the items I want to track and or bid. In the app when you view your “watched” list it doesn’t let you sort by time left. This would be extremely valuable when your waiting to see if you won

Great system

During the quarantine, mac.bid has the greatest system of getting the articles to your car. Pulling up to the warehouse in one of the 4 lots, team members from Mac.bid retrieve your things! The way they have things organized makes for a quick pick up.

Too good to be true

The listings say they inspect every item but they don’t. I just wasted $23 & an 80 minute drive round trip to pick up a touchless trash can I won in an auction. Because of Covid they load your items into your car without your inspection. I got home to find TWO huge dents in either side of the can, the top of the can completely broken off of the mechanical latch & both touchless sensors broken. This was 100% a damaged item that wasn’t marked as such & I can’t get my money back unless I drive another 80 minutes round trip to return it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOURE ACTUALLY GETTING.

Was never notified that I won

Bid on a few things and I guess I won one of the items, however I was never notified. The money was taken from my account & only noticed once I reconciled my checking account. I realized it too late to make arrangements to pick the item up, so I’m out $28. Not cool at all.
