Worst smart bulbs
I bought these from Costco and regularly are unresponsive when asking Alexa. I have smart bulbs throughout my house and these are by far the worst. Customer service is horrible also complained twice with no response.

Sucked
This app sucked. It never was able to connect to my WiFi, even though my WiFi was working on every other app. I even reset my WiFi multiple times to make sure it wasn’t the WiFi. Have to return the bulbs now because they can’t be used. This was disappointing.

IP address incorrect
Why does it show my public IP address instead of the device IP? I am trying to tag all my devices on the network and this is showing me my public IP address.

Need HomeKit connect or shortcuts
It’s cumbersome to change colors having to long press. I’m using iOS I like to be able to create shortcut to specific mood settings. But need a shortcut to group for example From control center and siri

Registration
I purchased bulbs from Costco. Downloaded this app, chose register.
It texts a code but when I input the numbers it responds password is numbers and letters.
Tried the email, never received a registration code.
Bulbs get returned first thing Monday.

Not bad
Does mostly what I need.
Things I would like to see are user definable presets for whites and colors and the ability to change dimming levels and colors via schedules. For example, turn on at 5pm using white light but then at midnight dim to 50% and turn red for a nightlight, then shut off at 6am, come back on at 5 as white, etc.

App and lights are greats, But.
The lights and app are integrated pretty well. Though, I feel like it could have some upgrades, like, custom scenes so my google home could set every light to a different color with just 1 command, and more “recent” colors, currently they only display the last color used instead of a full history of colors. Other than that it’s a solid app.

Lack of features
Relatively easy to set up. However it lacks any features such as a strobe effect or smooth color transitioning. You can mimic those effects by yourself if you’re pressing for it to change colors so why no implementation? You can only set a single static color at a time. These are very basic features for color changing bulbs to have.

Easy to use and great customer support!
Cisco was amazingly helpful as I learned how to set up these smart bulbs. This will make a HUGE difference for our home security efforts. I look forward to purchasing bulbs for our outside lights as well.

Pleasantly surprised!
I wanted to start upgrading the bulbs in my home to the new smart bulbs but didn’t know where to start. I’m glad I found these at Costco. Although still kind of skeptical and with recent reviews suffering an average of 2/3 stars I was even more skeptical. Anywho, fast forward 10 bulbs later my home is about complete and thanks to this app I’ve been able to control all of my lights. My wife named one of the groups “stranger danger” should an intruder break into our home, with a “click” of a button all lights will turn on. We can also set up daily schedule for lights to turn on and off when we aren’t home. The colors are vivid and look very dope at night time. I’m not sure why people are having so many issues. I am using my iPad and Android note 8. The only thing I wish they would have for my android phone is a widget to add to my home screen to quickly turn a light on/off.

Good basic app; could use some scheduling enhancements.
The basic app works well enough, but in the schedule portion, a sunset to sunrise option along with the old style timers would be welcome.
It would also be nice if dimming options could be remembered as part of each schedule rule, so as not to be jarred awake, for instance.
Looking forward to further updates.

App has room to improve - Advice for “Failed Attempts”
For those who received “Failed Attempt”:
Don’t give up! You’re most likely not connecting on a 2.4 GHz network from your modem. Most major internet providers give you modems that provide 5.0 and 2.4 GHz WiFi networks combined. I found it best to use your Guest WiFi Network that usually comes preset for 2.4 GHz only. If you don’t have a guest WiFi network already preset, contact a tech from your internet provider to help you. Once you have this set, connect your phone to the guest WiFi to install your bulbs. After the install, you can go back to your main Wifi or use your cell network to control your bulbs. I hope this is of some help.
I agree, this app can be improved! But I love most everything about it:
1) Timer Schedule
2) Ability to control lights when away from home.
3) Ability to dim and brighten on any color
4) Grouping Bulbs
I would love to give it 5 stars, but as some mentioned...a few things can be improved:
1) An improvement could be made on how to reach the settings on a group of bulbs or a single bulb...currently you have to guess the amount of time to hold the icon or when to release the icon to reach the settings.
2) Allowing shortcuts to be made on iPhone controls to access light controls.
3) It would be nice to have the ability to save your own personal color pallet instead of searching over for that perfect color on the wheel.
4) Least important, but would be fun to have prebuilt fluctuating mood patters or even better..a way to create your own mood pattern of fluctuating colors (i.e. ability to select 5-6 colors and have them fade to each color...with a slider to determine the amount of seconds it would hold on a color before switching to the next.

iOS App needs to improve
The app doesn’t allow Siri Shotcut. Only has integration with google and Alexa home. But not with iOS’s Siri.

I was skeptical about the functionality of this bulb, but after using the first one am really impressed, easy to setup and every function works perfectly, color timers etc, I hv not tried setting up several and linking them but am sure it will work fine, only reason for a 4 star is I would like to see higher wattage available, maybe that’s out there already, great job

Good, like to see randomized scheduling
App works fine. Would like to see the addition of randomized on/off scheduling to simulate in-home presence. A sunrise/sunset schedule would be nice as well.

Some Improvement Needed
Before I go on to explain the changes I want to see in this app, I would like to say that the lights are great. App functions well for basic functions.
That being said, I would appreciate the following improvements:
1. Add an option to open the app to the “Groups” page rather than the devices.
2. Add 3D Touch feature to turn off/on “Groups” quickly.
3. Add Siri commands.
4. Add functionality so we can program/use shortcuts app with the lights.

Failed to connect
I brought this for $7 and I can’t even use the app, every time I try to connect to my WiFi with this it comes up with a error saying “Failed to connect”. Please tell to if I am doing something wrong!

This app has room to grow.
These lights are one of the better purchases I have made. However, this review is of the app, not the lights. I really enjoy how easy the developers have made it to control the exact color and shade of light. I do have a few things that might make the app better, though.
-Patterns; allow users to make sequences of colors that play out at a speed that is proportional to the position on a slider. This would make the app 10x better in my opinion.
-Allow users to change the preset colors at the bottom of the color wheel; I really enjoy colors that AREN’T the basic crayon colors. It’d be nice to not have to find the perfect shade of purple every time I open the app.
-Instead of holding down the device button to go to settings, just add a button or something; This feature seems cumbersome. Currently, you can’t tell if you’ve held the button for the right amount of time because it goes to settings after the release. At least fix this, please.
-Last minute addition: maybe a night mode? An option of a darker theme would be nice to have. Less stress on the eyes.

Horrible
These lights will not connect to my network. All I get is “failed attempt”. I have retried multiple times with the same result. I even tried the AP mode with the same results. I would give zero stars if possible. These lights are heading back to Costco tomorrow. Thank you Costco for having a no hassle return policy.

Smart and Easy
This bulb is amazing!!! Not only can you control it with your phone which is so easy to set up, but you can control it with the Echo Dot and Alexa. You can name your lights in each room and have Alexa turn them off if your in the kitchen. I can schedule the lights to turn on before I get home so I don’t walk into a dark house. I’m going to fill the whole house with them. 👍

What the hell I’ve tried multiple times but every time I’ve tried to connect to the mesh the app crashes half way through the set up. I’m about to return these bulbs back to Home Depot and I would never recommend people to get theses bios due to their faulty application

App crashes consistently during bulb pairing. Also - why do you have 2 apps for homebrite and Fiet? It makes no sense and is really confusing.

Fail
Doesn’t work. The app will not recognize the bulbs I have set up with the HomeBrite app. And i followed the directions to set it up with Alexa and the login info is invalid.
