Inconsistent

Sometimes you text me when it is time for a refill. Sometimes you call me when it’s time for a refill. Others times you do nothing.
No communication to let me know that I needed to do an extra step- go in and choose delivery date. I’ve never had to log in and do that before. What happened to the texting? Calling? How was I to know that I randomly needed to look in the app and do this?

I’ve been using Accredo for last six months and they have been amazing, especially when I just started my first prescription with them. They filled it and was on time when delivered and my meds were in a box with ice packs and was still cold. Accredo is a great pharmacy to get your specialty medicine from.

Absolutely love it

I love the fact that you can reorder through the app now! I hated remembering at midnight or 1 in the morning that I had forgotten to call back to order medication. Now if I remember at that time I can simply login, go through process and schedule the next shipment! Easy, easy, easy!

Can’t log in

If you type in the wrong username and password they will let you know it’s wrong, but if you type in the right one— literally nothing happens. Can’t log onto app or website. Need to call to renew my prescription every month, which is such a pain.

Lag and clunky app

Face ID will not work on an iPad, but Touch ID would when it was more prevalent on older devices. Responses when navigating screens are tremendously slow, but not nearly as slow if you have to speak with customer service to refill a prescription. When their order system is offline for maintenance or unavailable this app does not inform you that is the case and just puts you in a login loop. If I had a choice I would never use Accredo because of this poorly performing app and their tedious customer service processes. Cigna bought a lemon and has done nothing to improve it during their ownership.

Account Info Doesn’t Link to App

Account balance not available. Previous orders not available. The app says I have a zero balance yet I continue to receive paper invoices. Talked to IT to see why my account info is not available on the app and no one knows. They says a “ticket “ was opened but I never hear from anyone again and this issue continues to persist. The only thing this app is good for is taking up space.

Speciality RX

Absolutely horrible experience with this app, with phone calls, just trying to get medicine that I need daily to survive is so time consuming. I receive numerous phone calls for each prescription. Each phone call less than minimum of 45 minutes and I’ve actually been on the phone for 2 1/2 hours trying to just get a refill. An automated system calls me, then transfers me to somebody who has no idea why I’m calling them but I didn’t call them they called me. When they finally figure it out I have to transfer me to somebody else because they have no access to the information that the computer had called me on to begin with. In this day and age it is the most ridiculous use of technology, they really need to revamp their processes.

Incompetent

The app works ok, but no one who works for Accredo seem to know what they are doing. Constantly getting the run around from them about late medication, passing the blame onto insurance and/or my physician. They do not keep records of customer requests/concerns, never follow up with you, never know the answers to what should be simple questions. It’s infuriating and unfortunately also the only specialty pharmacy option my insurance provides. What a massive headache.

App bug caused me to pay when I didn’t owe

This app has a bug with account balances not being an accurate view of what the customer actually owes. This caused me to pay for a prescription I did not need to and almost pay a second time that I didn’t need to either. It took an hour long phone call to finally work this out
The app seems to show a balance even if that is expected to come in from your insurance or copay assistance program.
The website shows the correct information for me, don’t trust this app for balances, make sure to go to the website for an accurate picture

No one pays attention to the fine detail

When I originally signed up for Accredo because I had a new prescription, I gave a representative my new insurance information as I stated that I have another policy that’s being canceled. After the preauthorization, they shipped my first dose. When it came time to get another dose, they said my insurance information was expired. I gave them my new insurance but apparently nobody listened or paid attention to what I said so I had to go through another preauthorization in fear of not being able to have my refill in time which scared me because the type of medication is life-sustaining. After I thought everything was said and done, I spoke to a representative after I gave them my new insurance information for the second time and they said everything would be OK. I spoke to a representative from Dana Farber and when she called on my behalf to Accredo, they said that I was supposed to call them to give them my information. Again, nobody pays attention to the fine detail and unfortunately I had to get another preauthorization. Finally after stress and all the issues that I went through with the help of a representative from Dana Farber, I was able to get my refill. This is sad and unfortunateAnd nobody should have to go through this stress especially when we are all diagnosed with cancer and that Accredo should understand that. Overall I am not happy and I am not satisfied! I hope this doesn’t happen again when I need another refill.

The customer service is awful. My insurance company requires that I use this specialty pharmacy, instead of a local specialty pharmacy. My order was delayed by a week, and since it’s 2 prescriptions that have to be taken at the same time, the customer

Very smooth interface

My kindergarten has a condition that once put her in a wheelchair, but Big Pharma, very sincerely BLESS THEM, has created a miracle drug that allows her to walk and play freely. It’s expensive and fragile but this app and company make ordering it quite easy and painless for me, her worried mom. There is one super frustrating bug

My doctor switched my meds, and the old med was automatically removed from my Accredo app. Unfortunately, that didn’t remove the medication dose reminder, and I think because the med is gone from my account, it won’t let me open the med reminder settings to turn off the reminder. (It still lets me change settings for my current meds though.) So now I’m get alerts for a med that I no longer take, which I cannot get rid of. From now on I won’t be using that feature in case this happens again, so I turned off my other med reminders, and I’m probably going to have to turn off app notifications entirely to stop it until it is fixed. That’s pretty annoying, since I use the app primarily to get notifications for med refills and shipping.
Hopefully they will fix this. I reported the bug but I don’t know how long it’ll stay this way. I’ll update my review if/when it ever gets addressed.

Worst experience trying to get a specialty medication

I would give negative stars if I could.
I have had more back and forth calls than I can count, just in an attempt to get my specialty medication.
It took two full months just to get my new specialty drug. I finally did receive the loading dose for my new prescription and now I am going through hoops again just trying to get a refill for it. My doctor’s office has called Accredo multiple times and I have also. Once one issue is fixed, Accredo comes up with another reason why they cannot send me the medication I need.
I have to wonder if they are trying to purposefully prevent patients from getting their specialty medication - is it because it is expensive? I truly do not understand. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in the customer service and their lack of concern for helping patients.
If Accredo reads this, please fix the very broken workflow that prevents patients from getting their medication. There are so many barriers. There has to be an easier way.

Not impressed

My pharmacy got switched to acreedo for some reason about 3 years ago and it’s been nothing but issues. Every time I have to order medicine it’s a whole ordeal to get it on time. My copay assistance never gets billed so I always have a $3 thousand balance and my shipment gets canceled. I ask what the issue is and then all of the sudden they can get it cleared up. I ask for help to get this resolved but get no answers on why this is happening. If you have the option, don’t use acreedo.

My two cents

In the two and one half years I have been taking Tagrisso I have had no issues by phone or using the app. They even notify me when it’s time to reorder. I couldn’t be happier with this pharmacy. I hope everyone gets their problem worked out. We have enough to worry about. God Bless!

Decline in service

I’ve been using Accredo for 5 years. The past 6 months have been full of headaches including a billing debacle that took at least 5 phone calls to straighten out. Half the time, I can’t refill my prescriptions from the app and have to call, why have that feature in the app? When calling, I have to authenticate with the auto attendant and then provide the exact same info to the rep who ultimately answers the call. Get your CRM system into modern times please!

Unorganized

This pharmacy is so unorganized and every step of filling RX comes with several days of delay. The staff are not properly trained so be prepared to repeat your problem and Phatmacy issue several times. And at the end instead of following up with what needs to get done they just put your RX on hold without notifying you as if you don’t need it or it’s not a specialty drug. I’m so disappointed. Unfortunately stuck with them due to my insurance or I would have changed my pharmacy. Good luck with them.

Lacking

When ordering you can not select a different address from your address and must edit the last one used.
When entering a address the second address line will not accept any characters such as a lot number or apt number. It is also limited to 25 characters limiting special delivery instructions.
I am unable to edit my order such as wanting to delete the alcohol wipes as the shots already come with them.

I would give no stars if I could

They’ve wrongfully charged my card thousands of dollars twice. 8,000 dollars total. They can’t even give me an explanation as to how it happened. After the first time took my card off auto pay to insure it didn’t happen again. I’ve spent probably hours now on the phone with them. They couldn’t even immediately give me my money back and blamed my bank they said three to five buisness days and I called my bank and they said acredo just hasn’t put the money back yet. I couldn’t even pay for my groceries they’ve left me with no money twice during a pandemic. My insurance won’t cover my medication unless it’s through acredo and when I ordered my meds after the first accidental charge I asked the woman several times how much it was going to cost and that I couldn’t be charged thousands again. My meds were supposed to coat five dollars. She assured me it wouldn’t happen again. Honestly this has been such a nightmare I’d rather just be sick then to have to get my meds from them and keep dealing with this.

I began with another specialty pharmacy that was a nightmare from start to finish for the four months I had to use them!!!

Awful!

If I could give a negative number of stars, I would. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the app or the company, but I have to call multiple times every month in order to get my medication. The delivery date keeps changing to a later date after my order has been placed. I have missed my medication because of it. Every month I spend at least 30 minutes on the phone with the representative telling me there are no protocols holding up the order, so they don’t know what the problem is.

App doesn’t even show an Rx

Accredo is a real pain to deal with. The app is useless, it doesn’t show current active orders. Accredo calls on the phone for refills and leaves voice mails, rather than just fill the refill on a monthly basis. They don’t honor copay assistance programs from major manufacturers on refills. Every month is starting over with them just to get a refill. I just got an email that I owe a $250 copay for an in-process refill, log in to the app and the last refill it shows is from September.
With sloppy business practices like this, confirm that what they send you is actually the correct medication.
It was easier getting refills from Walgreens.

Terrible

BCBS changed specialty pharmacies effective January 1. It has been a nightmare. Accredo calls me multiple times a day asking for the same information. Last time I spoke with them—I told them to figure it out but I can’t keep providing the same information with no results. I am now overdue for my medication. There is no end in sight. Humira is life changing for me. I cannot believe this company is in the drivers seat to my health—-they have been completely useless. I hope BCBS will change back to AllianceRX. They were wonderful.

I have to take a med every other day. I think this app would be much improved if there was a custom setting for putting in a reminder. Or allow you to set up 3 different reminders for the same medication. Asking for improvements.

Life changing!

This app has made refilling my prescription such a pleasure! It is so quick and easy compared to my previous hassle. No more drawn out phone call confirming information, answering the same questions, and fighting with a robot when she can’t understand your responses! Beyond grateful!

Problem with the app

Since the last update, I can no longer see my payment history and today when placing an order it never asked me for my co-payment. I had to call Accredo to resolve this. I spoke with several representatives with no success getting to the right person. The App was terrific before the last update.

Really bad service and delay of medication

Accredo specialty pharmacy service is unbelievably bad. My doctor was able to locate any other pharmacies to send prescriptions but accredo, after trying phone numbers and addresses etc. Had many calls with accredo and everything was assured by them that they would reach to my doctor immediately by “patient rescue” action. And my doctor never heard from them. And then every time when I spoke to them the agent had no record at all on previous calls so I had to describe again. Eventually I ran our medication for more than a week so I had to ask my doctor to send prescription to CVS which worked immediately. But Cigna would force me to use accredo. I hope they fix the problem so I would be able to get medication this time. Finger crossed.

Reminders

I saw that a reviewer mentioned disappointment in not having the option to set a biweekly reminder. A response indicated that it would be considered in a potential update. That was last July. My son also needs his dose bi-weekly so this feature would certainly be helpful.

Prescription Issue

Talking to someone about my prescription issues is very frustrating. It took me a month to find out my insurance plan does not auth 90 day prescriptions but during the month I was trying to get it through Accredo they told me something different everytime I called in. If they don’t know something I wish they wouldn’t make things up....do your job and find out the facts!!!

Perfect

This app is so easy to use and honestly such a stress reliever to manage such a stressful reason for using it. The reminders, easy refills, and payment balance is so nice to see clearly and keep you updated on the things you need to remember. I really love the app

Accredo App - Refill Process

Getting my medication from Accredo was a bit of a challenge, at first, between my Insurance company, prescriber release, and pharmacy rep, but I’m happy to say that After several hour long phone calls on getting everything straightened out, I’m now able to submit refills straight through from the Accredo App. No hassle, super easy, and you can even create reminders under the settings.
Very satisfied with using Accredo as my speciality pharmacy!

Crappy company with a crappy app

The company makes its money by delaying expensive medication to patients by making patients reorder recurring prescriptions each month, when it should be on auto.
I should have known that their app would not make ordering easier.
After calling their “24/7” line to speak to a pharmacist and finding that no one was there, I tried the app, but couldn’t log in, despite entering a prescription number starting with 9 zeros and about six other digits.
These people are the least sincere people in healthcare, which is saying a lot!

Convenient!

I cannot believe how easy it was to place my order via the app! So much more time convenient and easier than waiting on the phone to place the order and being transferred, etc. I put in my info, choose the date I want my meds delivered, and done! Simple as that! This is going to make monthly reorders so much easier! Awesome job, Accredo!

Not happy

What a pain... I thought this app would make it a piece of cake to reorder... heck no.. it is circle of not being able to log in, not either having the right password, then trying to reset, then it tells me not authorized.. what? I am the only user, then it wants for you to call support, well, I can do that before the app.. geesh..
Got customer support, the fault was on my end... changed my rating on this app... I bet the support people roll their eyes at people like me... thank you for the patience...

Reminder not usable

The app is okay. I’m glad that they put one out finally.
Aside from ordering or viewing your order history, the only thing the app can do is remind you to take your medicine. As long as, that is, you take yours either daily, weekly, or monthly. If not (like every two weeks), then you can’t use the reminder feature. It needs more customization.

No option to use app if the meds are for under 18

Downloaded the app to be able to refill, get info, etc on my son’s prescription. Because u can only register with the persons’s prescription number, and he’s a minor, it won’t let us register, so the app is useless for us. Big fail here...

I am so very glad I downloaded the app. It’s so very easy to use and I LOVE that I get a delivery date choice. Love the convenience and love that I can reorder at any time day or night. Thank you so very much for providing your patients with this easy to use app. 💜

Great for ordering

As a MS patient, I find this(as well as so many more)app very useful. I however find it extremely disappointing that I’ve written in about this since January, and you just updated you app so much that you had to robo call me to let me know how great it is. It is absolutely amazing, that so many apps out there (of which yours is too) do not use landscape mode. It’s a easy fix, and would REALLY be helpful to those of us who really do need the help.
