I came across CastBox at iTune store, and downloaded it to give it a try. I was surprisingly happy with it and wanted to share my experience with others. It has all kinds of topics for different occasions. I use it to listen to news, spiritual episodes, and featured podcasts, like Joe Rogan. I like the fact that I can download episodes on my phone and listen to them during my commute. I want to give my highest recommendation to everyone who has not find the right app for podcasts. Go for it!

I downloaded castbox a year ago, after several updates, it kept no update for more than a half year. I though castbox guys may not maintain the iPhone version, but recently I got a news letter from castbox team, a new app was launched with new design and new app name. After one day trial, I know the new castbox app is lacking some podcast functionalities, but I really love its simple and clean design. I believe if it keeps updating, I wiil replace my overcast and move to castbox.
This app is far far better than all the other podcast apps.

I learned from a Belgium friend about this podcast app, and I found their older version on desktop, there are audio news and audio books. I also found my favorite language learning "Coffee Break French"and "One thing in a French day" podcast. I will definitely recommend it to my friends to download this app and I love the NPR and Ted talk Channel. For those who love horror stories, this is also good selected content you may want to check out. I've subscribed a couple of episodes under my account. I drive and I listen to it on my way back home. I use Iphone SE. This app is far far better than all the other podcast apps. I also love it when I can comment my favorite podcast episodes.
